Don't hold your breath. We have seen that disclosure is not their MO. We wont hear a peep from them IMO until the ink is dry, or they are legally forced to say something and put out another bare minimum 8k.
I still think that Oshmegma has some sort of subtle extortion/blackmail card they are playing against the Navy officer. And no, Im not saying the DoD can or should be 'blackmailed.' We all know how this despicable sht works though. Althought OAR 'lost' the protests, I believe they threatened to just keep pushing this beyond the GAO and to the COFC, and as far as they could after that if they weren't appeased somehow and given something.
Going forward this process sounds like the quickest and best solution to tie everything up in a neat little bow.
IMO TriStar is going to get something and OAR is going to get something.
I think OAR will be told behind the scenes that if they lodge any protests, they will be history as far as DoD contracts are concerned. I'd be willing to bet the procurement officer will not be the same person.
As AJH correctly points out, the pie is more than big enough for all qualified contractors, and it will continue to expand short and long term.
TMPS at 14 cents is a steal IMO.
When the next run-up occurs, there wont be any 80% drops on 'a protest' or 'a cancellation.' Run up and stay up.
AJ nails it as always. Pennyboy is delusional if he thinks the Navy is going to, or can 'wait' 18 months from now. His Omega whiners have already caused a 4 month delay and counting.
Im thinking that Omega and TriStar have both already been told they are going to 'get something' from the new offerings. TriStar because the Navy already picked them, and Omega just to keep them going and keep them quiet about whatever it is they have, that the Navy (seemingly in my opinion) doesn't want made public.
Oh BTW pennyboy, mr insider trading fraud extraordinaire (in my opinion of course), did you review the NTSB report about the dinosaur Omega B707 plane that crashed, and luckily didn't kill all of the flight crew? Hmmm,,,Wouldn't it be a shame for you and Omega if one of the competitors of this new contract were to throw that into the protest mill? Since that outdated 1960s built plane was a clear and present danger, what about the rest of their fossil fleet? Hmmmm,,,the Navy/DoD should take a much closer look IMO.
Because he's a known fraud and liar, talking sht again. He is the same inside trading fraud that said Tempus would NEVER get a contract. That was wrong. He keeps pounding the table about 'air worthiness.' Proven wrong by longs again. Nothing but a bitter Omega shill.
Or perhaps doing an end run around whatever Omega is crying about. We'll know soon enough. I bet ya TriStar/Tempus will be there.
LongCA that's a great find! It shows that once again, the bashHoles are dead wrong here, and that Tempus, Omega, and 'the bigs' will all get yet another shot at an even bigger contract/s. Multiple means what it says. More than 1.
Hey minimouse, are you and pennyboy still trying to borrow shares to sell short? LOL
We'll see. JCPQ couldn't even hold 80 cents after a massive Barrons megapump job. All you fools did was give shorts a little more room. For now you are 21 cents above the all time low. Congratulations. Keep buying.
Correctamundo as usual AJH. Which is why with TMPS we constantly see this tired old algorithm trick of the bid immediately increasing after a small or moderate size trade at the bid price (whether hidden or live).
You nailed it again as far as liquidity is concerned. IN a situation like this, longs aren't looking for liquidity. If they were, they would be somewhere with much higher volume.
But as we know, his senseless softbash post wasn't meant to address any facts or bring any meaningful discussion. It was meant to fear monger or shake the tree, if possible. As usual, he failed just like his fellow Richard Craniums here.
You're welcome. Like everyone else on here, all I can do is opine at this point. However we do know that some things are fact, and constant.
#1. The DoD aerial refueling demand did NOT just dry up and go away simply
because the Navy put a temporary (as far as we know) kabosh on this contract. The demand remains and will need to be filled. The DoD/Pentagon has said this out loud and more than once recently.
#2. The Johan's didn't get to be billionaires by tucking tail and running at the first sign of adversity. Its frustrating that they are so quiet for now, but that's not entirely a bad thing IMO. We all understand that they can NOT and will NOT prematurely release details about any potential future contract that will certainly be coming our way.
#3. Scared rabbits and weak hands dumping TMPS will not just 'make it go away' as the bashHoles here keep hoping. Its not gonna happen. Lets all keep in mind the share structure fundamentals. They have not changed. We still have only 26m O/S, and a very small float of 8.9m. Those are small numbers by any standards. Should the short/naked short pinksheet manipulators somehow slam this down to 3 cents (LOL what a pipe dream for us longs!), it wont stay there very long.
#4. No need to ramble on about anything else. For right now we are in limbo. It will change when it changes. Be ready to buy more.
#5. GAO rep says the decision text should be available 'soon.' Perhaps as soon as tomorrow, or as late as next Friday. Cross your fingers.
Agreed, Im already on it like white on rice. Plan to call them today as well. If you call GAO, have the docket number ready. The last person I spoke with said that's all you need. At that time, we were not yet at the GAO level.
Squeaky wheels get the grease, so start squeaking.
I submitted a FOIA request to the Navy in hopes of finding out the exact answers to those questions. Since the GAO has dismissed the 2 protests as academic, they should also be willing to provide answers, ie the full text of Omega's protest. That's what we need to see.
contact@GAO.gov
If you want to go thru the phone route,,,202 512-3000. Eventually you can get to a real human and get somewhere. Make sure you have the docket number.
That isn't what Omega protested. Originally it was an 'SBA size' protest. The Navy denied it and they appealed to GAO. I don't know if they are allowed to all of the sudden 'jump tracks' on what they are protesting. Doesn't make sense to me. Terry having worked for Omega years ago should be moot.
Not to pile on an OAR disaster, but needless to say those F-18s had to get refueled elsewhere on that date.
Thankfully the 3 members of the flight crew only sustained minor injuries and were not killed.
AJH it would be my novice guess that if the Omega 707 piece (that broke) had managed to 'hang in there' for another few minutes and that plane would've continued its ascent, that would've been a huge disaster and all 3 men would've died.
Omega is private and not publically traded, so message board vultures and cretins cant come on threads like this and bash them when they suffer a terrible accident like that.
Imagine if 1 of these TriStar planes that we own had any episode like this in their history, in England or anywhere else. PP and his minions would be screaming about how the Navy cant possibly overlook such things, and of course that 'TMPS IS DONE!' Far from it fools. Stay tuned.
That's OUR gorgeous bird right there! Oh yeah those 3 RR engines have plenty of power.
Wait for it, the bash crew will now remind us (repeatedly) that the TriStar video is from 2013. Which matters not.
AJH as far as OAR's aging 707's, do you know when the planes they are currently using were built? Im guessing the late 1960's on the 707's?
AJH92, I love the sound of a Rolls Royce engine. Its a thing of beauty. As far as OAR and their dinosaur fleet, I say good riddance.
IMO you are spot-on with your assessment of OAR and its difficulties. It definitely explains why TriStar won this most recent contract in the first place, and IMO it tells us why the Navy was only comfortable with 'extensions' rather than new contracts.
JAPCC with a jam packed calendar for September & October 2019. I wonder if anyone from Tempus/TriStar will be in Italy?
https://www.japcc.org/calendar/
Yeap. The ancient fossil fleet just keeps dying a little more everyday they don't get another Navy welfare handout.
Amen to that. Its absolutely a spectacular find. It may be a precursor to exactly what happens with TriStar/Tempus. Always keep in mind longs, the A2A DoD demand didn't all of the sudden drop through the floor just because of Omega's whining. Keep your eyes on the NATO/EURO sector as well.
The White House and the Pentagon have said openly on the record that they want this sector to expand. It will happen.
LongCA the Alliant LLC example may turn out to be exactly what happens here. EXCELLENT FIND AND DD! We have all the same ingredients in the oven, so to speak.
Entitled crybaby bitter sore loser that refuses to accept defeat (sounds like ummm,,I dunno,,,OMEGA!) went SBA GAO, lost, kept whining. Yup sounds exactly like the situation here. Not to mention, also the US NAVY.
They have a separate FOIA division that (ostensibly) is for this specific purpose. If you enjoy sitting in limbo and guessing as to what the next move of the Navy will be, that is your prerogative.
I suggest using the services that you (the taxpayer) already pay for. Do as you wish.
That's a sweet buy in. Don't forget to lock them up. IMO go sell/limit $10 GTC on all 15000.
The NAVY has FOIA request hotline & email. I suggest that all longs go there early and often. Demand an explanation of the current situation.
IMO Wolcott does not have to tell anyone anything. The Navy may be a
different story. Do it.
LMAO yup like Omega's ancient fossil fleet. Public knowledge that the NAVY & DoD are 'quite concerned' with this issue. Pennyboy wont comment on that.
Come on shorts and weakies, SELL SELL SELL! Lets see that 3 cents you fools keep talking about. Today. Just keep selling, after all Tempus is going bankrupt. Right pennyboy?
NEW FILING! Does anyone here have PACER?
Yeah right. SO when do JCPQ bagholders get to cast sham votes for the inevitable reserve split? Im guessing 1 for 25. They will want to pump it back over $10, even if only for a couple days before the final crash to 0 and chapter 7.
I say sham votes because your corrupt BOD is going to ram it through no matter what the actual vote is.
NYSE 'could' take action at any time if JCPQ ignores the inquiry.
Yup all good. That was May when they were 'due' to leave England. If they did, where is Tempus hiding them?
Current market cap $4 million without the Navy contract. Still an insane low joke IMO.
Maybe The Johan and the other insiders heard me earlier, and are going to step up and buy 'a few' shares. Ya never know. Keep an eye out for a few SEC s4's.
IF Citadel is bidding for themselves and that's not just normal trade routing for an online buyer, that is always good news. Same thing with NITE/VIRTU.
AMEN. Its not even a consideration. However, I must say in my opinion, a billionaire CFO/CEO whatever the hell he is, that actually gave a flying Fk about this company, would be stepping up with $160k and buying a million shares. Like,,,,right now. Loud and proud about it, with a PR saying so. Sadly, we don't have that, and that's what gives these scumbag bashHoles the talking points they have.
As Spock said in ST6,,,,"If you are logical, you have to shoot."
Even if the contract gets divided between sourgrape OAR and Tempus, the share price will explode. I opined this potential outcome months ago.
Once TMPS gets a protest free 'foot in the door' with the DoD, its off to the races and never looking back.
Let all these bashHole fools keep spewing their garbage. TMPS is not going away, and its not going CH 11. That is idiotic. Its bankruptcy priced now.
Looks like all panic dumpers are done. Reload.
AJH let me ask your opinion on this. Given Omega's clear sour grapes posture this whole time, is it possible that they intend to move on to the Court of Federal Claims?
Its my understanding that the GAO dismissal does not prevent any loser from doing that after being denied or dismissed, but once the GAO denies or dismisses the protested contract goes forward.
Ive thought all along that Omega will cling to this contract like grim death until they have exhausted every 'legal means' they can.
Maybe, just maybe the Navy is not up for several years of this BS with Omega in the COFC, so they have hit us with todays 'corrective' approach?
I cant believe the Navy is just going to throw away 6 months of effort because Omega doesn't get a participation trophy. What say you?
How about you quicken the process and naked short a few hundred thousand shares at the open tomorrow?
Exactly. That's why this just doesn't pass the smell test. Has to be way more to the story that we haven't been told yet.
SB that's a good question. IF it is all just semantics, then 'The Johan' in my opinion just became the biggest dick that ever lived.
NO way! That doesn't pass the smell test. This is national defense sector we are talking about here. This isn't tile flooring, landscaping, underwater basket weaving, etc.
Navy A2A refueling, slightly more important than any average contract that may be subject to 'capital requirements.'
For you to be right, the Navy just willingly wasted 6 months on this whole situation for nothing.
LOL! Im sayin NO FKNG WAY to all that man! On a serious note, something smells very rotten here. Like,,,,trapped BIG short sellers that knew the right buttons to push, to demand a 'termination' out of nowhere.
No way the Navy would've even let Tempus step to the plate without complete financial disclosure, and NO WAY Tempus WINS on flaky vague information.
Tempus wins, oshmega protests. NAVY takes almost 2 months then denies the protest. OAR then demands the GAO hoops. Navy seemingly jumps through those with Tempus, and then the protests are dismissed and Navy terminates the contract??? LMAO WTF that makes no sense. Complete waste of time to do that dance.
