The run from sub-penny to .15 was an end-of-year rally. There is a lot more eyes on markets end of year when tax loss selling, etc occurs. A lot of people jumped in OWCP because it was running so hard, and people held their shares because most people thought the run was for a specific reason - the patent allowance was making the company was undervalued. But really it was just a regular OTC "pump and dump", even though it wasn't based off a PR, just simply a lot of buying and a lot of profit taking and little reason to hang onto shares since most of the buying in the first place was just to profit in the short term, leaving all the bag holders to lose money as it dropped all the way back down.
I think this run is also much more simple than people anticipate. There is likely no reason for this move. Some group or groups of people with a lot of money, maybe the same group who pushed the stock up in December, decided to move this stock. It is after all a great stock to move. Now it's just profit taking. If that group or another group with a lot of money doesn't decide to take this to a new high, it will just keep going down as more and more people get tired of holding when they never had any intention of holding. So it can easily continue dropping back to sub-penny given the company is dark and we will probably not be seeing any PR's about anything ever again. The patents basically mean nothing to us because they can just go private and leave no potential for any big gains for shareholders. Was it coincidence they went dark on the same day the cream patent was granted? I think filing the form 15 was a planned action after the patent was officially granted, so that they do not have to tell us about their plan. Why wouldn't they want to tell us? Probably because it's bad news for shareholders.
This stock, the way I see it, is nothing more than a game/gamble. There's potential for big gains and losses with it's volatility. The moves don't mean anything, it can go higher or lower and there is no way to know how or why it's moving, and we have no news to look forward to. Be careful with this one.
They will probably release an update tomorrow or sometime this week about how much $ they made today (4/20).
Why would they release news?
Me but still this stock hasn't seen 0007's hit. It's on the bid now, though.
Been ignoring this stock after being so disappointed in their performance, but can't any longer. I'm back in at .0033 with my original million shares I used to have at .012. They have something good going here, and its simplistic nature means they probably won't fail, and they have experience in acquisitions now. Coronavirus will not be going away, and people will never stop smoking weed, so demand for this type of service should remain for at least a year or two. Market cap is only 2-3 million down here and the stock just got 10 million volume in 30 minutes, has not been that much since first week of March. Can double/triple fast
13 million seems huge but it isn't, only $13,000. Market cap is $4.5 million. It only seems big because of the low volume and interest at the moment. When a group of buyers come in we will see 100 million + volume mostly buying that will skyrocket the price and it will likely happen without any warning or reason.
I've been watching this stock closely for about 2 years. I was trading it when it went from 01 to 06. Could not believe it kept going up.
The recent price of .01 that held for so long, I didn't buy any. The market cap was like 50 million +. I knew that was way too high, and did not understand why or how the market cap could be that high. I think it had something to do with the LVVV shares. I posted on here a few times that the market cap was too high and it had to come down. So now I've been buying because now the market cap is under 10 million. Actually I was hoping to see 2-3 million market cap before going up, which would be a price of .006 or so. But maybe it's that theres more long term investors in here than most penny stocks? I don't know. But the market cap can't go much lower IMO. If the price does drop to .007 or under, I think it will only be for that one day then will not go lower, unless, of course, the company needs to issue lots more shares then we might not hold any gains.
I got 001's, 0009's, and 0008's in my stash. I was close to getting 007's about a week ago when it was on the bid, but no sells to that price. Really hoping for more 008's and possibly 007's in next couple days. I think after Monday's live Q&A video session the price may start rising depending on what kind of info is given.
I've always seen this company as having a more honest and forward CEO than others. And now he is doing live video conference just for investors during this pandemic. He has confirmed many times that friends/family have investments here... he obviously cares about shareholders and the stock price, and is doing everything the right way to ultimately become successful. It's a highly competitive business so it must be difficult to make decisions, especially with the down economy right now.
Most stocks that hit trips never really get out for good, but usually it's because of heavy dilution that overpowers buying in the long term. But I don't think that's the case here. I believe this is one of those stocks that goes from trips to nearly a penny when the time is right for such a rally, because the selling can't continue if more shares aren't being issued. But even if there is dilution needed to finance operations, if it's minimal we can still fly to .003 or higher. Need luck in timing for the big buyers to come in. They might be investors, but most likely pump & dumpers will come in here to get the initial rally going. All I think I know for sure is that we are at bottom here around .008.
x100xPercent
Because it's better to get all the selling out of the way down at these prices. If someone out there has 100 million shares +, do you want them to sell after this goes up to .005-.01? They will tank the price back down.
Also I'm counting on more dumping to add to my position. Never smart to go all in when you think you're at the bottom. Safer and smarter to accumulate only when price drops.
I really hope that seller comes back to drive the price down.
No, there was 0007s on the bid nobody touched. Also whoever is selling every day is hiding shares. Says 50,000 shares but if you slap it with a million shares nothing happens, still 50,000 with unknown actual number for sale. Today that 50k seller was on the ask at .0011, then moved down to .0008 and disappeared rest if the day when shares were bought.
"What is SEC Form 15?" .......
SEC Form 15 is a voluntary filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), also known as the Certification and Notice of Termination of Registration. It is used by publicly traded companies to revoke the registration of their securities. SEC Form 15 may also be used to notify the regulator and investors of a company's intent to cease filing various required forms because their securities no longer fall under certain filing requirements. A company must have fewer than 300 shareholders to be eligible to file Form 15.
BREAKING DOWN SEC Form 15
Reporting requirements under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 can be onerous for small publicly listed firms. This is particularly true for these relatively obscure entities that have very little trading of their stock on an exchange. Because of the limited benefits of being public and the significant costs in money, time and effort to prepare and file periodic reports with the SEC, many such firms decide to deregister their securities. They do so by voluntarily filing Form 15.
Principal filings — annual reports on Form 10-K, quarterly reports on Form 10-Q and current reports on Form 8-K (in the case of foreign issuers, Form 20-F, and Form 6-K) — are no longer required after the filing of Form 15 with immediate effect. However, certain reporting obligations such as proxy statements remain for 90 days following the filing.
Example of an SEC Form 15 Filing
On December 28, 2017, Talon International, Inc., a zipper and apparel fasteners manufacturer, filed a Form 15 "after a detailed analysis and thoughtful deliberation of the advantages and disadvantages of being an SEC reporting company." The company's board of directors considered the costs associated with the preparation and filing of reports, including the costs of outside legal and accounting resources, amount of management time spent on the documents, the amount of trading of the common stock, and the views of its largest shareholders. The resources, the company concluded, could be better spent on business operations.
I just read that it takes 90 days for delisting after filing form 15. It will continue to trade as a pink sheet. Also, they may still be required to file 8k's for the time being. I also learned deregistering is indeed a cost-saving method, and companies that do this mostly either get bought out or go out of business.
This form was filed on the very day of the patent grant being mailed. Is it such an incredible coincidence that it was on this day? Or do they have a buyer, and now they are actually getting the patent, they are going to go through a buyout as many here were expecting? And because they filed this form, they don't have to tell us what's going to happen?
This is extremely confusing. What are the odds, that the 8-k that should have been filed was supposed to talk about the patent grant but instead it's the de-registration of their stock? Mind-boggling.
Are you serious? You are saying this is good news?
You're welcome
You should know at least something about a company before you buy their stock
LOL
I wonder if one of the terms of their contracts are to keep shareholders completely in the dark for now?
That long? You think 2 months is a long time to gain 800%-900% from current price?
How can we view GW's denied skin disorder patent application?
It's gonna go up soon, easy double or triple money from here in 2 days once it starts moving. Past couple weeks hardly any sells to .0011 or 0012. Today 0012 on the bid all day and not a single share sold yet, low of day is currently 0013. These cheap prices will not hold long, in a couple months it will be almost a penny.
I got my entire 500k 12's, didn't get any 11's
Oh T trades I see. But it wasn't walked down, I watched it. There just wasn't any bids from 0013-0029, so when .0031 was whacked, the orders for 0017-0018 sells came up, so there werent' actually any executions today 0018-0030.
Did anyone notice that 5 minutes before market open, the bid and ask went up to .0050/.0051? It went down to .0031 at open, so a million shares were sold at that price and we were only up +150% instead of 300%. But why, how? I think this is an indication we can EASILY move to .003-.005 on relatively low volume.
They would not have hired 2 new leaders and a highly reputable patent attorney if that were the case.
What you're saying is BS
Don't assume it's MM's, it could be someone who just needs to sell their shares.
I like how you failed to include the reason they stated- covid19, just like businesses all over the world.
I was hoping there would be some big buyers this AM, but there's low volume now. How low will it dip down before breaking .025?
The volume today is from general buying of cannabis-related stocks. The stock charts and volume spikes all look the same between several stocks, owcp simply following
There IS big news coming, obviously
Where are you getting that market cap from? OTCmarkets shows about 1 million market cap
1) This stock is not in free fall
2) Stocks trading sub penny come back all the time! Just like how this stock bottomed at .0008 ( traded under .0010 for only 2 days), and went up 300% to .0030.
3) This is an excellent trading stock and no r/s is planned. Your strategy is correct with many stocks but not all of them.
They had recent news of a nice contract. They have things in the works and most stocks have been oversold in the past couple weeks due to CV. This is highly likely to come back up over .002 and has potential to make a new 6 month high up toward a penny. Market cap is under a million. Buying is a good idea right now especially hitting a low of .0012, it's a very good risk/reward ratio especially with a relatively small position.
I don't think your certainty of those statements is warranted. We don't know what's going to happen. They did want to R/S before, and it's possible the new guy might want to do it. The fact it ran so high recently could mean a new vote might go differently, if there was another vote to R/S. Or it might go differently with different terms such as a 1/100 split, I don't know but it's a possibility until said otherwise by the management. Also, these are bad times with this pandemic. Some people think it's not serious but it is right now, and it's a possibility that any negotiations that may have been taking place may not be taking place at this point in time with the nation practically being shut down.
I expect good news for sure, but I'm not expecting anything until things are calmed down a bit - any news before it does is just a bonus to me and I'm going to trade and invest according to present conditions as should everyone else, because the market will be volatile and we literally have no clue what the management might be dealing with in regards to the coronavirus.
My two cents: Even if it's a very low-ball offer, and we somehow find out about it, it would make the stock soar big time, because a low-ball offer would still be more than current 5 million market cap, and would mean their intent is to do something with the IP (skin cream patent). But I don't think any real offer would be made, at least not solid enough to announce publicly, until the cream patent is in hand by the company, and maybe even not until the MM patent receives allowance. But no matter how I look at it, I think out of all the things that can happen, any announcement will make the stock fly with 2 exceptions: 1) A new vote for a R/S made by the new CEO. This would mean there's probably no buyout or JV in the works and he plans to seek funding to continue operations. 2) No R/S but more toxic funding as a last resort to keep the business going.
Let's hope they don't have to R/S or dilute the stock more - I believe those are really the only 2 possibilities that can take us down and anything that makes either of these unlikely means we will see significant recovery toward .15 and hold a lot of those gains.
Geez you guys, he just put out a rather detailed shareholder letter less than 2 weeks ago, which included an outline of rollout plans and addressing investor's concerns about the share price. Most companies don't put out much detail if any at all about investor concerns! The coronavirus has put the entire country on hold, and you want positive updates about the stock. Don't you guys think CEO's around the world have complications and priorities during this time? Look around, most stocks have come down to new lows. If you're an investor or looking to invest, then buy at what you believe is a low price and wait a few weeks/months for an update. If you're down 90% on your investment, obviously you have run out of patience, but really that's on you for holding on so long instead of selling and now there's a global pandemic that is making the markets very volatile and uncertain.
Patents are NOT worthless.
WE NEED NEWS!
Do you realize that's only $13,000? Lot of money to some but it's really not a lot.
Ok thanks. Looks like it was about 3 million for sale because 0013 cleared.
