That's why I was happy to hear Djdj report that they were handing out water at BLUM to customers waiting in line, and the comfy waiting areas that they have for customers inside. The little things you do for your customers will give them a reason to come back to BLUM.Along with quality and price ,of course.
Just from the tourist volume alone in Nevada, they should CRUSH the sales numbers in CO.IMHO
Gimme a penny a (trading) day until the end of the year. That'll give us about a buck and a quarter,EOY.That works for me.Then comes California.Mo' Money,Mo' Money,Mo' Money! Can you say New Jersey coming on deck after Nov. elections?TRTC=$$$$$ ."Train kept a rollin',all night long"-AEROSMITH
I just felt a really large gust of "HOT AIR" go blowing by as I read that. Your answer,my friend,is blowin' in the wind........
Sounds like GREAT customer service being given by the BLUM dispensaries. Those are the kind of "little things" that will make your customers remember you and keep on coming back. Thanks for the updates,Djdj.
Kind of like NJ gov.Chris "Krispycream" talking of "poisoning our children" with weed. What an a-hole.The biggest "gateway drug" is ALCOHOL,by a mile.Followed closely by Mom and Pops medicine cabinet. The anti-weed BS is finally being confronted and crushed by THINKING AMERICANS.TRTC will be the leader for MJ boom advancing across the good ol' USA.
A prime example of not getting too hung up on financials as the only indicator of company value-TESLA is $350 pps,LOSING HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF $$.Has never shown a profit and not expected to in the near term.Stock began around $17 pps. It's a fledgling industry(electric autos and the sources that power them) as is the MJ market. Now I doubt TRTC will ever dream about getting that high(I'm NOT delusional)but it does offer an example of what a stock price can do for a company on the "cutting edge" of a multi BILLION $$ industry.Just something to ponder for those who keep regurgitating old financial #'s.THE GAME IS CHANGING,and TRTC IS LEADING THE WAY.
WOW, those are AWESOME looking flowers. Not sure I've ever seen anything quite so beautiful as that!MMMMmmmmmm....
Well she held the .20 for a mildly green close. That'll work, for now.Better things to come ,I am sure of it.
I think your rendition of a pot smoker is pretty clouded by the propaganda that you've been fed by very biased groups for a very long time.I know plenty of "indulgers" who are highly productive and also pretty damn intelligent. These are not burn outs living in their parents basements.Any one in that category probably has issues that are much bigger than just the fact that they smoke some weed.Kind of like people who "drink",but aren't wasted drunks. There IS a difference.
Perhaps some retired (alleged)law enforcement officers, who spend way too much time everyday posting on message boards of stocks they hate, should apply for TRTC security in Jersey.Just saying, it might be a better use of their time :)
Even at .2 it's up about 35% from lows of 2 - 3 weeks ago.None of the mindless babble changes that FACT.And that is leg-en-dar-y.
In your own mind............
Three steps forward, two steps back, that's OK by me.That's the dance I think we'll see for a little while until we get strong legs back under us.It shouldn't take too long. But"flippers" will keep taking their few pennies profit causing these fluctuations. So up 25%,pull back 15%.Overall the trend WILL be UP,UP,UP.I know some of you don't like seeing that, but the reality will be what it is.Keep flippin' your pennies,at some point you'll say "Damn I should've held onto that TRTC."
I'm gonna say that there's probably a lot fewer options in Reno than Vegas, which would explain better #s in Reno for the short term.Big picture is thousands of new tourists EVERY SINGLE DAY coming into Vegas. That should lead to overall much better sustained #'s for Vegas IMO.
It is stated that "Other states that had legalized recreational pot eclipsed Nevada's estimated numbers." I don't see any problem with that at all cuz looking at the big picture I think you'll see overall higher sustained #'s coming from NV.Those other states are certainly not the tourist destination that Vegas is.EVERY DAY OF EVERY WEEK will bring many, many new faces into Vegas to partake of the products at the local TRTC/BLUM dispensaries.$$$$$$$$$$
I think the #'s for the Oakland facility were included in that 250k in sales for the day, along with the 4 NV dispensaries.
That's a good, honest assessment.A handful of people here keep bitching about the lack of profits, not understanding what happens with companies in the "growth phase",which is what TRTC has been doing since its inception.I'm good with pumping all that income into growing out the business, which they have grown out quite well IMO.Profits will come in good time. And yes "Insiders "(those who build and operate the company) need to get paid too, so I don't begrudge them for cashing in shares on occasion. Thanks for your input.
We got the big one hooked here with TRTC.Just gotta play 'er out for a bit.Eventually she's gonna be a true trophy.I do love that ol' Zara Spook.Drives the bass crazy.
You're right Zippie .Anything in the "financials" from years past, during the build out phase and before legal recreational markets became a reality,is totally irrelevant .The ballgame has really just begun. The future financials are going to paint a completely different picture. Some just do not have the patience for it.It's like fishing for "the big one".You may sit there with your line in the water for a long while........AND THEN IT HITS HARD and she's off and running.BOOM.
Wow ,lookit the $10 word usage .It must be true cuz it's BOLD and IN CAPS.
New "legends" are born every day.We were sure to see some taking profits after TRTC went up 25%.Then down a wee bit.Flippers need to make their pennies.Decent volume Wed.She will be ticking back up.
How many "Mom and Pop operations like TRTC"had 25 MILLION in revs for 2016, will DOUBLE THAT in 2017,and likely DOUBLE OR BETTER in 2018(when Cali goes legal)to EASILY OVER 100 MILLION?TRTC is a far different from that "Mom and Pop"shop in Oregon ,whose stock is down is down about 30-35% the past couple of months, that some were so in love with.
From "420 Intel"-------In the case of TRTC, Nevada is an important state. That’s because the centerpiece of the company’s future growth strategy is based around Nevada. The company has been developing medical marijuana facilities in the state, including several Blüm medical marijuana dispensaries. For the first half of 2017, the plan was to ramp up activity at these Blüm dispensaries, in the expectation that they could eventually be converted into so-called “dual-use” facilities, serving both medical patients and everyday consumers looking for a marijuana fix.
And, on June 29, that’s exactly what happened. Terra Tech announced that its dual-use marijuana business licenses had been approved by the state of Nevada. Effective July 1 – just in time for the big July 4th holiday celebration – the company could begin sales of recreational cannabis. Moreover, all 4 Blüm dispensaries were granted approval to enter the adult-use market, so this really opens up the doors of opportunity for TRTC. The former medical dispensaries will now be free to sell products like the company’s IVXX premium cannabis cigarettes.
According to initial estimates, this new market opportunity could be huge for TRTC. The company projects that the 40 million tourists visiting Las Vegas every year, in addition to the 5 million tourists visiting Reno every year, could become potential consumers of premium IVXX cannabis products (which include flowers, oils and waxes in addition to cigarettes).
The big cloud that has been hanging over the company, of course, has been concern about the future direction of the U.S. marijuana market. The hype and buzz surrounding the industry in 2016 almost made it inevitable that 2017 would be a year of retrenchment. In short, investors are re-thinking the valuation models for the industry, and trying to determine which companies will be the winners and losers in any industry shakeout.
That’s where Terra Tech would appear to have an advantage on its rivals. It touts itself as being a “vertically-integrated cannabis-focused agriculture company.” In other words, the company is more than a bunch of dispensaries and retail locations – there’s an entire cultivation and extraction business that gives the company a much more stable base.
For example, one subsidiary of the company (GrowOp Technology Ltd.) designs, markets and sells hydroponic equipment. Another subsidiary (Edible Garden Corp.) is a retail seller of locally grown hydroponic produce, herbs and floral products. Its products are sold in places like Walmart, Kroger, and ShopRite.
The cultivation and extraction side of the business has become a renewed area of strategic emphasis for TRTC. On May 24, the company announced a new “Craft Cultivation” business model for growers, and promptly signed up its first craft cultivation client in Northern California. On an annual basis, this facility will produce 1 metric ton of high-grade IVXX cannabis.
It’s easy to see how the legalization of marijuana in California is going to dramatically increase the demand for craft cultivation facilities around the state. Based on its success in the state of Nevada, it’s possible that TRTC will now turn its attention to California.
That has been the plan from the beginning for TRTC.Derek is looking to build a national brand with IVXX ,and sell that product nationally at BLUM stores around the country -in good time. It's still a bit of the "wild west" out there in this (now) rapidly developing market.Eventually there will be a few that rise to dominance in the market as a bunch more fall by the wayside. There will be mergers and acquisitions as things develop.I'd say TRTC is in a prime position to be one of those industry leaders and look to buy up some of those struggling "Mom and Pops" as opportunities arise.Derek has stated from the beginning that he's looking to hit a "home run" with TERRA-TECH and when the (MJ) smoke clears I believe TRTC will be standing tall .
Flippers taking their 7 cent profit, whoop de do.I'm gonna wait for MUCH BIGGER THINGS,thank you.Long and strong- TRTC.Bring in the next plane full of Vegas tourists and line em up at the dispensaries.Cha-ching.
Great volume and up 27%,I'll call that a VERY GOOD DAY.Plenty more to follow IMHO.
Well, you should change your brand and try drinking a real beer.Thousands of outstanding micro-brews out there these days, with REAL flavor.See, drinking bad alcohol makes you make poor decisions.Or better yet,I think you should go visit BLUM,buy something nice ,and change your whole outlook on life :)
The excitement is from finally crossing the bridge to legal rec in a HUGE market of which TRTC is a major player.A major catalyst for TRTC and the MJ industry as a whole, toward the national acceptance of legal weed.MJ dipped our toes in the water w/CO,ORE,WASH and medical. Now it dove into the big waters of NV with California and then the rest of America to follow. And that is all good for TRTC stockholders. Please hold the standard BS replies.THE GAME HAS CHANGED.Profits to follow along with rising share price.
My question pertains to smoking ANYTHING in a bar/nightclub.In NY state it's illegal to smoke ANYTHING(cigarettes/cigars/pipe)in most bars. Can you, generally speaking ,smoke in bars in Vegas? Or not?Simple question, lighten up.
Perhaps you should give it a try. It's great for reducing stress and anger issues :)
That's awesome, and that'll be a whole other market that's already taking flight ,as you've shown.People spend BILLIONS of $$$ on pet supplies annually.CBD's and other products for our pets can be another big moneymaker for TRTC. I'm sure Derek has that on his radar.I agree with you Dj, that Derek knows what the fk he is doing more so than some people give him credit for.
It's been illegal everywhere for a long time,up until now.I've seen it smoked in public "illegally" for the past 35 years.Even up here in NY state it's nothing more than an appearance ticket with a fine of perhaps a couple of hundred bucks for possessing small amounts. That's if they even bother to write you up.More often than not they'll just confiscate or make you stomp it into the ground.Yes, I've seen it happen :)
Not saying fed agents would be lurking everywhere.Wondering if the establishment could allow or not. It's a private establishment so it seems that legally, they could allow MJ smoking (if they allow smoking at all,I don't know)if they want. What I wonder is would they feel that their license to operate could be at risk should there be any type of pressure applied by Sessions and the feds trying to make some form of statement. Not really worried about any kind of fed intervention, but would the strip club say NO just to be on the safe side re: their operating license(s)?Perhaps it's a moot point if they don't allow any smoking,I do not know.
Here's a question for anyone with the knowledge,is smoking permitted at the strip club and if so,could they allow weed smoking there?Or not because of fed worries?
Thanks for the updates ,Dj.You're like having our own roving reporter with boots on the ground.Keep the reports coming.Hope your cat feels better!TRTC,LONG AND STRONG!
You got that right,Zippie. It is an ABSOLUTELY NEW BALLGAME.This is the real thing now,no more practice.Everything up to now has strictly been pre-season.The REALITY HAPPENS NOW.Onward and upward, baby. We've been preaching patience for months and now it's about to PAY OFF $$$$$$$.
Yeah ,I think they could do that 100 mil on a full years worth of Nevada sales alone. And now the clock starts to tick on California in about 180 days. How high can they go?
Now isn't that just chock full of facts and quality information.
De-clawed? I vote for NEUTERING.Maybe that'll take away some of his anger.
