When used for manufacturing end-use metal components, it is the consistency, repeatability, reproducibility and reliability of the components that are of significant importance.
SLM Solutions will highlight some of the challenges overcome by OEMs and suppliers across many industries as they successfully work to qualify and certify laser technology to manufacture critical end-use parts.

A bigger sale of Sigma Labs software to Honeywell would not surprise me at all as long years cooperation builds up trust and understanding how to verify the design intent in real serial production...

So people didn't read the 10-K and notice that "total stockholder equity" was $1,735,439 as of 12/31/18, which was below the NASDAQ listing requirement of $2.5 million.
Also didn't read the 8-K which said:
Quote:
In accordance with Nasdaq Listing Rules, Sigma has 45 calendar days (i.e., until May 23, 2019) to submit to Nasdaq a plan to regain compliance. If our plan is accepted, Nasdaq may grant an extension of up to 180 calendar days from the date of Nasdaq’s letter to evidence compliance.
So they put a plan together and they have until November 23 to get compliant.

My impression is that they are planning:

> manpower for execution of those orders (delivery and service)
> cash flow
Important updates will probably be announced via PR's in the next days and or weeks...

What industries use 3D printing
https://www.trumpf.com/en_US/magazine/what-industries-use-3d-printing/
What the industry needs is the highest possible quality standards in batches that are typically very small – and that makes LMF the ideal choice. The most popular 3D printed parts in the industry are turbine components.
>>>The stock of Sigma Labs Inc (NASDAQ:SGLB) registered a decrease of 13.66% in short interest. SGLB’s total short interest was 285,800 shares in April as published by FINRA. wickw50 that is interesting so most probably we will see a new move to $2 soon...
With other words if Trumpf selected or will select the Sigma Labs IPQA system than the whole German connection will follow accordingly...
Than we would see Sigma Labs inside as standard for all OEM's...
>>>i wonder where we are with trumpf? they talk about implementing weld pool monitoring in the future. I wonder if this will be some sort of white label PR3d licensed by sigma,or if they have there own? Is the hold up PR3d ability to work on multi laser machines? <<<
This is a very good question!
Trumpf is world class leader in laser, photonics, optics, sensorics, AI and other metal applications production.
Trumpf weld pool monitoring for the TruPrint 5000 is still not released for production (Trumpf webside: future …) but Trumpf will release that for multi laser applications...
We all know that Trumpf is pushing fast and I still believe that Sigma Labs will be inside like for AI...
A perfect PR would be that Trumpf will sell TruPrint 5000 to Sintavia for Honeywell serial production...
and this can happen any time soon, not initial multi unit sale but initial prove for real serial production...
TedJ, correct
and actually we have only a few competitors also mentioned in an EOS whitepaper which I posted some weeks before...
Interesting is that the trend to implement IPQA for critical applications is very clear for all big players...
