Solar3d owns sunworks and sunworks distributes panels. Therefore Solar3d distributes solar panels.
If you don't want to see "speculative" posts about the "distant future" I suggest you invest in another company because speculative and distant future describe by its very nature of our investment in solar3d.
I wrote that first post about Panasonic expecting at least one response with a compelling argument as to why solar3d wouldn't have their panels manufactured by Panasonic since they were made from Panasonic parts. No one has yet to post that response and it obviously isn't going to be you. The more you post the more I am convinced that the "conspiracy theory" could be accurate.
Solar3d distributes panels through sunworks. That's what I said. I never said that they distrusted solar3d panels through sunworks.
Using solar panels and batteries is EXACTLY their plan. A lucrative solar feed-in tariff introduced in 2012 more thantripled Japan’s solar PV market from 2012 to 2013. To help integrate this solar power into the grid, the Japanese government last year created a $300 million grant program to support large-scale batterydeployments, with three projects worth a combined 82 megawatt-hours announced last year. Panasonic already has an early version of the LiEDO called the Fujisawa Sustainable Smart Town project.

I can't argue with you on that lol. The possibility list of future relationships, partners, collaborators, etc, is endless.
As for the other board, I tried looking for solar3d on there and it didn't show up. I'm using the Web browser on my cell phone though so that may be why.
I don't have to re-read post #5317 to see that it was negative. :)
But I do believe we have the same intentions. You were just throwing sh#t against the wall to see how much of it would stick and that's what I was trying to do with Panasonic. What I posted about Panasonic was speculative but it was based on facts. They did provide us with the materials to make our solar3d panels, they do have the manufacturing facilities to accommodate solar3d, and they are launching a new green program (LiEDO) with California being the first market they enter.
You said you wouldn't respond to me because you didn't think I would understand. I'm definitely not the sharpest pencil in this box, so even if I don't understand it, others might and they can continue the discussion. Why don't you try me/us? Panasonic and sltd can't work together because Panasonic bought Sanyo?
That's exactly what I was trying to do. :) Just trying to get some discussion started.
It's unfortunate that some resort to personal attacks but hey, some folks are just like that when they're behind the veil of a computer screen. I appreciate you and other posters like you that aren't threatened by others questions or theories.
Swaimica: I wouldn't take a reply from you seriously anyways after some of the posts you've made on here so it's best you didn't waste your time
Tommy: Big energy routing companies? Then why would they say they are "looking for young talent to create new energy services..."
You say they are looking for distributors. Doesn't sltd distribute solar panels through SUNworks, which is growing rapidly?
Panasonic does need sltd!
"Panasonic is laying the groundwork for a massive networked deployment of lithium-ion batteries in solar-equipped homes and businesses to solve Japan’s post-Fukushima energy crisis -- and it’s looking to California and other U.S. markets for the business models to make this distributed energy system work."
Panasonic made great cassette players but ever since they acquired sanyo they also make state of the art solar panels and li-ion batteries.
You would think that.. but...
Panasonic- “I am looking for young talent to create new energy services..." "in California"
Sounds like solar3d shoes fit this description.
Haha you got me. I meant investing.
Panasonic is looking to California for business models to make their LiEDO program work. It's clear that panasonic isn't trying to take over tesla or any other green tech companies.
Panasonic- as a hardware company, “we have little time to make business models,” he said, adding that the right “business model is very important.”
I wonder how good Jim is with business models.. :)
I never said Panasonic was funding sltd. I asked if they were invested. Does their investment have to be monetary? Could they just be investing in solar3d by providing them with technology and the equipment? It's clear that they have.
Would you say tesla is under Panasonic's thumb?
Panasonic acquired Sanyo for their Li batteries and solar HIT panels and the company has taken it upon themselves to fix the energy crises in Japan caused by the Fukishima nuclear plant disaster.
“Panasonic is laying the groundwork for a massive networked deployment of lithium-ion batteries in solar-equipped homes and businesses to solve Japan’s post-Fukushima energy crisis -- and it’s looking to California and other U.S. markets for the business models to make this distributed energy system work.”
At the same time, “I’m focusing on not only Japan, but also the United States,” he said. In fact, in terms of models for driving the growth of distributed solar-battery systems, “The first market I am looking at is California,” where a mandate to add 1.3 gigawatts of energy storage to the grid by 2020 is pushing the state to create innovative regulatory constructs and business models to meet that goal. “I am looking for young talent to create new energy services, using lithium-ion batteries, like Tesla,” said Hiroshi Hanafusa, head of Panasonic’s Energy Solutions Center.
Just how LiEDO may find its way into U.S. markets, Hanafusa declined to say at this time. Panasonic is considering go-to-market models that include managing its battery systems as a grid resource, as well as turning them over to other parties taking on that role, he said. But as a hardware company, “we have little time to make business models,” he said, adding that the right “business model is very important.”

When do they plan on launching the LiEDO program? Next year!!! When are our panels expected to be commercialized? That’s right, Next Year!! In California!!! This could be BIG people! Our panels were made, as Jim Nelson says again and again, “with manufacturing in mind, ”using “off-the shelf technology from Panasonic.” Why would solar3d make their panels with Panasonic technology with manufacturing in mind and not have Panasonic be the ones to manufacture them?
From our patent application:
These steps are compatible with regular solar cell fabrication. Only the surface texturing and anti-reflection coating steps are replaced by the initial shaped etching of silicon.
http://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/detail.jsf?docId=WO2013126434&recNum=43&maxRec=227751&office=&prevFilter=&sortOption=&queryString=solar&tab=PCTDescription
The only thing we know for sure is that our technology was designed to be compatible with existing solar fabrication using Panasonic technology. After all the testing is over we should be able to jump right into large scale manufacturing.
Solar3d panels, once commercialized, will inevitably be used with Panasonic/Tesla batteries for energy storage. Is Panasonic invested in solar3d? If Panasonic was funding the development of technology that was going to wipe out some very powerful industries run by very powerful people they would be wise to keep it as low key as possible?
My watch list is like 85% in the red. It's happening across the board
It really would be! I didn't know they were working in the same lab. Is this where the energy revolution will begin?
Lol I wonder what company you're talking about.
I would absolutely love to see these two combine.
Hopefully a bounce will be coming here soon. If not I always have sltd. They're about to explode this month. Both are exciting technologies.
Go Hysl!
They may be testing it on some unsuspecting SUNworks customers roof right now. Never know
They're scared. They should be

Nailed it with your very first post! Thank you, I couldn't have said it better myself
Even big Jim mentioned solarcity in the last pr. Bestbuy offering solar panels is a big deal for the industry and one day solarcity might be offering solar3d panels to customers.
From solarcity website:
SolarCity uses only best-in-class equipment from top-rated home solar panels manufacturers. We have done the homework for you and have selected solar panels for home that offer a combination of high performance and high quality. SolarCity engineers will recommend the optimal home solar panels, taking into account your local weather, roof space, architectural, aesthetic and energy-production needs.
I'll take all the profits you made off of the rise in share price that came with the SUNworks acquisition. Since this is all about the panels for you right?
I have been watching with disbelief. The market is crazy sometimes. It does however give me hope.
If they can move like that off of that kind of news, what will sltd do when we start commercialization?
What if SUNworks landed a 25kw job with some big name attached to it?
A nice close indeed. And I'm seeing a lot of new names on this board. Welcome guys, anyone who bought in from .07 to .08 is a lucky dog

Held this stock for a while and sold at .28. Regretting that now lol. Glta
I'm not going to post any links but through my social networking addictions I have come to learn that one of his daughters was recently engaged. I think there may have also been a very recent bachlerette party in Charleston. Should have gone to Hilton Head right golfer?
This is probably the reason he looks tired lol.
CEO + father of the bride = one tired share selling fella
what if you knew the company had a very bright future and that you werent going to have to worry about money ever again and you knew that you were guaranteed millions more shares? Would you sell?
When you have scared shorters claiming it's a pump and dump it's a good thing
I have no position here but I wish I did. Lol
Way to go! We had the pieces but never put them together. I always say there is something good in the water down there in Hilton Head lol.
I think we all really hope this is what is happening.

they mentioned solar3d here
He is not selling the shares. The broker is. He just trickles the shares into the blind trust and the broker does what they think is best.
If he waited to sell after a big jump caused by good news that HE released wouldn't that be insider trading?
That's what I'm leaning towards. The slow selling gave us time to make sense of it.
I was just thinking that! The broker or brokers in charge aren't the best in my opinion lol. Why wouldn't they just sell all of it all at once when the price was around 12-14?
Maybe, like the rest of us, they were sure the market would see the value here after the acquisition of sunworks and expected the price to keep rising? Or maybe they just didn't want everyone to panic so they are selling a little at a time? I have no idea.
The one thing I do know is that it's all up to the broker, the time and quantity of the sales are at his/her discretion.
You definitely called it, we'll done on walking away with profit. I never got it so I don't have a dog in this fight.
Good luck to everyone here
As long as his, or anyone else's posts don't violate the tou then they shouldn't be deleted. Simple as that. If he posts something in violation I'll delete the post if you or another mod doesn't get to it before me.
Let's all quit with the personal attacks and d**k measuring contests and try to be polite. Especially when we disagree.
He does respond quickly. Great questions and thank you for the info.
Welcome to the board
Exactly! And if sunworks went public on their own instead if being bought by sltd I'd buy shares at this price.
I look at the value of some of the MJ stocks and scratch my head when I see they don't even generate revenue.
The market is sleeping on us imo
