Caz - someone said to expect "big" news mid 1Q which I take to mean Feb 15 or so. Could that be the granting of the International Patent? Do you think that will have an immediate & significant impact on the PPS? Theoretically, we still won't have any revenue then, but, will have a clearer path to charging for procedures - at least in the International Sector. Will it drive up the PPS because potential partners will be more willing to want to partner with us? I know you have posted info on the timeline of the granting of the IP. What are your thoughts? About the suggested timing of the IP grant? About the key drivers for PPS impact? Meanwhile Go SVFC >>> $$$
Best post of the week. Post is very enlightening for an SVFC investor. Go SVFC >>> $$$
Pistol...I think most members would wholeheartedly agree with your post. Thank you! Go INO >>> $$$
Wilson...I agree ...it is nothing less than a 50/50 chance. I think it is more like 80/20 or 90/10 only because there is no such thing as a sure thing. I am in at $1.01 avg and know that some insiders made buys of over $500K just in the last 2 months. Dr Kim has bought literally $Ms worth of shares for his family. Roche is willing to invest $400+M. Some institutional investors have come on board recently. Even if I'm off by 60% and INO sells for "only" $10, I'm still looking at $1M for my children & Grandchildren. I have been retired for 4 years and should be fine with the (Blue Chip) stocks & pension (something they used to give old guys)that my company was nice enough to give me for years of living the Corporate life. Heck, there have been some posters with guesstimates of $50 $ $100 recently, so, maybe I got carried away. I'm sorry. Go INO >>> $$$
Well said gempicker. I especially liked the last sentence. Although some are making "bank" - and, maybe a lot of it - I hope they are holding some for the big paydays that should be coming in 2014. Hundreds AND thousands of dollars are less than hundreds OF thousands of dollars....right?? Go SVFC >>> $$$
Despite the fact I'm sitting with avg PPS around $1.01, I almost bought more today...just because...$2.50 is still a good price to pay for something that will be worth 10 times that. I was figuring I could get 20 shares of INO for every share I sold of something else that I have a lot of from a 40 year career and getting options as part of my annual bonus. Instead I went out and played in the snow with my 1 year old Granddaughter. Either action would have been a winner. Playing in the snow brought immediate fun. Selling INO shares for $25+ a share will be future fun! Don't let today's price decline take away our fun. It is inevitable. I agree with several posters here who believe the price was driven down for a lower entry point for some big volume buys. Go INO >>> $$$
SVFC seems to be a stock where shorts; longs; and, flippers can all make money. It won't stay that way for long. The risk will start to outweigh the reward for one or two of these groups. Until then, Good Luck to all in whichever method you are using. When someone is always 100% right all of the time with indisputable facts, they are usually someone's ex spouse or on the way to being one. Just sayin' Go SVFC $$$$
We can meet in Colorado and act like kids again....filthy rich kids! Go SVFC >>> $$$
Kubisiak - Happy New Year to you too, and all members of the SVFC MB and admins! Maybe with our SVFC profits we can buy Trail's End in WI. I think this time next year, a lot of people will be wondering what to do with their SVFC profits. Go SVFC >>> $$$
RUN ... SVFC ... RUN
There is a whole 71 hours before the first trading of 2014 at 9:30 AM EST. I think it could hit $4 before test results and then more partnership talks will heat up. I think the spectrum of what big Pharma might "want" to do is endless. Buy it & bury it...I doubt it. Buy it & build it...and make a fortune to replace the fortune that INO supplants. What to do....what to do?? I think we sit and wait and enjoy the ride... Go INO >>> $$$
I think a lot of the swing trades that posters discuss where they brag about making a few $$$ on a sub penny swing are what keeps the SVFC PPS depressed! All are free to make these kind of trades, nobody should think that this makes them a better trader/investor than the long investor. In Business, it is good to begin well, but, much better to end well. Good luck to all and a Happy New Year to all as well! It is my intent to make this my last post on the SVFC MB, so, ... one last time... Go SVFC >>> $$$
Caz...the absolute max downside is -$.0019. Period! The short term upside is easily 10 times that at $.0190 PPS. Where else can you get 10 - 1 odds on your money and could possibly (easily) be 20 times or 50 times or 100 times your investment. Even at 100 times your investment, we are looking at a PPS of $.19! Very, very doable. And, with major catalysts of International Patents; the Korean Connection; Major Partnerships; Major Buyout; etc., the PPS in 2014 could be far higher and our returns could be many multiples of 100 times our investment. Sound Logical? Spread the word and buy more shares next week and early in 2014 and let's make a lot of money. Go SVFC >>> $$$
Better ATM a few weeks back when it was moving between 2s and 3s & 4s and even hit a few 5s. I agree with Lee. You don't want to be caught with less than your maximum number of shares when this takes off. If you're adding to your share count you will be rewarded that much more. Go SVFC >>> 2014 >>> $$$ (or, a lot of pennies)
We will see positive news about Korea soon - probably early January - to help kick off 2014. Why else would you go all the way to the Korean Peninsula to perform 4 procedures? He could have done 20 in NY in the time it took him to fly back & forth. All indications are that the trip was very positive, so, they are probably in meetings on how to package the info regarding the trip. Or, there will be a quiet period while negotiations are taking place. Either way...It's All Good. Go SVFC >>> $$$
We want Georges! Go SVFC >>> $$$
Such a thoughtful & reasonable post. I'm a little concerned that this moved too fast, but, at the same time, think there may be an underlying reason for the big move. The big guys may know something. I agree with you that it is easy to put our faith in Dr Kim. He is very impressive! On this Board, I have professed my "luck" in finding INO and that I planned to hold for "a while" for my children & Grandchildren. Well, we received an awesome present this season in the form of news of the impending arrival of our 2nd Grandchild in June. So, maybe I'll hold a little longer or maybe I won't have to....depending on how fast and high INO moves on this run. Go INO >>> $$$
Good job Mack. You've earned it. you've been strong & informative through the doldrums and are now getting rewarded. Smart man! How far/high do you think INO will go in this run? Go INO >>> $$$
Probably means the big boys know something...and...it must be big! My (paper) profits have almost doubled in about a week. PPS from "around" $2.00 to chasing $3.00. Is it possible Dr Kim will make 2013 more EPIC than it has already been? Stay tuned. Go INO >>> $5.00 or $10.00 or ???
Thank You and a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and everyone on the INO MB. I have been retired for 4 years, but, did Revenue projections for a $6B Business Unit for a lot of years. A 1% "miss" was worth $60M and found me sweating in front of the Execs, so, I tended to avoid overly optimistic projections like the plague. I lucked into INO last Spring with a 50K buy in the $.50s, and 10K in the $.70s. I sold the shares I bought in the $.70s to buy a few (real) losers and regretted that & kicked myself more than once. When INO started it's climb, I hesitated and wound up buying another 50K for slightly under $1,50 avg. So, I have 100K with an avg PPS of $1.01. I plan to "gift" my INO shares at 20K to each of my 4 children and keep 20K to help me & the Mrs spoil the Grandchildren. I've been tempted to gift them this Christmas, but, am concerned that at least 1 (or 2) would cash immediately for the quick $40K (or $48K as of yesterday) which would cause them to miss the Epic run that seems likely and cause me a rather large tax bill sooner rather than later. So, I'm holding for the Home Run! So, Go INO >>> $10... which would be a game changer for my family. Again, Happy Holidays to all and Happy trading to all in 2014!
Sabai - I must stress that the mentor rule I spoke of yesterday involved revenue for new products. All Product Managers would be overly optimistic and downright emotional with any new idea or product. Hence, the "half as much...half as fast" revenue projections included in our Annual Commitment View to Senior Management. Maybe emotion carries more weight in a stock PPS. Maybe "twice as much...twice as fast" is indeed possible when dealing with a "hot" stock with "new" science in a major field i.e human health. If we see $3.00 (or, close to it) by EOY, it would be easy to project a $5.00 PPS by mid year 2014 and $10.00 by EOY 2014. With good trial results and a timely partnership (or two or three ) these PPS are not only possible but probably likely. As we have seen from other stocks, from $10.00 and with Institutional monies pouring in, the sky would be the limit. We would see an EPIC 2013; an EPICER 2014 and as EPICEST 2015. Go >>> INO >>> $3.00 >>> $5.00 >>> $10.00 >>> ??? IMO of course!
Thanks to all our fabulous DD posters! I think the granting of a patent in Korea could be THE catalyst to drive the SVFC PPS. Korea competes with Japan & China in so many industries and levels. A partnership with or buyout by a Korean company - or, Medical Enterprise - would establish their dominance in the field. The latest/newest and "bestest" (sorry for the bad English) developments in this Medical discipline (stem cells) would allow them to leap frog over their competitors in one area that could feed many other areas. This has to be one of the reasons that Dr Victor went to Korea and not another country. If a Korean Enterprise is interested, that could speed up the granting of the patent in Korea for SVFC. I think SVFC will be granted a Patent in Korea early in 1Q 2014. Then, the rest of the world will play catch up and Korea needs this far more that most other countries. All IMO! Go SVFC >>> $$$
Thanks i.t.m.d. this is penultimate DD. Everything - positive - that we need to summarize the benefits of buying/owning SVFC shares. I would like to take this time to wish you, and, everyone on the SVFC Board - including the admins - a very Happy & Blessed Holidays and a Happy & Healthy New Year in 2014. Go SVFC >>> $$$ or even a lot of $.01s
At Friday's close, SVFC AS share count of 1.5B could be bought for $1,950,000 (1.5B * $.0013). It seems like there has been a lot of guesses as to how many of the AS are OS - as some apparently have been sold to satisfy company debt - so, I used the entire 1.5B. What is the MAIN catalyst that will drive a big Biotech to partner or buyout "us"? Is it the pure science/discovery of the procedures? Is it the International Patents? Is it future contracts overseas as they test and trial SVFC procedures? All of the above? I think we can all see that this/these "COULD" happen. When?? When do you think the catalyst will happen to drive another Biotech to partner with us or offer a buyout. I - and, many others here - really can see it happening! The impact to PPS will be interesting to say the least. I've seen estimates of $.25 to "several dollars". Wow! I too also look forward to trading in some titanium for stem cells as soon as the procedure is "approved". Your educated thoughts would be most appreciated as we end the year. I can't imagine us having this same conversation at the end of 2014. So, I guess the main question is when in 2014 might this come to reality. Thanks Lee. Go SVFC >>> $$$
Sabai - I like your #s far more than mine, but, a mentor once told me "half as much...half as fast is a good rule of thumb". That logic worked better with New Product Development, but, - as we know - stock PPS is part emotion. So, maybe "twice as much...twice as fast" is possible. Go INO >>> $$$100
My guess is $2.15, $2.50 by EOY. $4.50 - $5.00 by May, 2014 - which is 6 months after huge insider buys. Just guesses really. The 6 month window is meaningless since the good Dr probably wouldn't have to sell then, so, the 6 month wait rule wouldn't really apply. Go INO >>> $5 in 2014; $10 in 2015; $100 somewhere in the near future. IMO of course!
Which side asked for reschedule? Asking our most knowledgeable and fervent posters... realistically...what impact on PPS will IR settlement be? What about International Patent? Impact from partnership would depend on the specifics of the deal. Go SVFC >>> $$$
Lee - a sincere thanks for all of your work in providing tons of DD to all board members! Earlier, someone posted going to $22 PPS... I don't think it will go 1 penny over $20 PPS by 2014 Go SVFC >>> $$$
Keep up the great work with this awesome DD! Expect to see the PPS heading North SOON! Any guesses on how soon? Will International Patent or Improved Financing happen first? IP might drive IF! Go SVFC >>> $$$$
mmrich used to make good points in his posts. Now, he is ignored by most and/or his personal attacks are deleted. Most of us Inoviams have already pocketed some profits (some, more than others) and most of us are sitting with avg PPS that can withstand a drop of 50% in the PPS before we would "lose" money. Have a Happy Holiday Season MMrich and get back in INO with at least a small position so you can be happy with us. Go INO >>> $$$
International patent will be granted within 3 months of Dec 6th announcement....just like Anna said - IP expected 1Q of 2014! It could happen as early as January, though. Go SVFC >>> $$$
Great DD. I agree. Huge uptick this week. Go SVFC >>> $$$
2 HIV patients who had been "successfully" treated with stem cell treatment are showing signs of a recurrence of HIV. The stem cell company involved was not mentioned in the article I read. Any other info?? Go SVFC
Plain - it seems to me we have (almost) eradicated more than a few diseases in my lifetime by using vaccines. Polio; whooping cough; etc. Cancer Drs always said that a vaccine wouldn't work. A friend of mine has a song on a published CD with lyrics about Cancer - "the cure is much worse than the disease" - seem to be true. I have seen family members wither away & die from Chemo while waiting for the so called "smart bomb" that will only attack cancer cells and not kill off so many healthy cells. I sure hope Inovio is part of the cure for many families sake! Go >>> INO
Click - hope you're right. Just confused...will it be 3 explosions, or, one explosion 3 times as strong. (your post came in 3 times) The very best thing we can say about SVFC pps is the max downside is $.0023 - or, whatever you/we paid for our shares. The max upside is some insane multiple of the current pps. I do think there is the possibility that many will sell as soon as the pps starts to recover - which would cause the pps recovery to bog down. There are a lot of shareholders that have big share totals with an avg pps of $.01 or lower. $.02 might look good to them after all of the angst we've had over the last several months. That might start a slow climb from $.01 to $.02 to $.03 etc. I guess we'll see. Go SVFC >>> $$$
Anyone read the article on cnn.com today about U of Penn team attacking Leukemia by using T cells? Sounds very promising. Could INO be involved? Go INO >>> $$$
The SVFC stock price closed at $.0023. Not $.01; not $.05; not $.10; not the teens...but, it will go up real soon! IMO of course Go SVFC >>> $$$
pps will be $.25 soon! imo of course. Go SVFC >>> $$$
Bake Sale! They baked a bunch of shares and the charitable public paid cash for them. Go SVFC >>> $$$
Dr Victor is a Dr and apparently a good one based on a lot of info. I think we can agree he is not so good at running a Business. The Dr is smart & not dumb. Is he smart enough to sell Intellicell and get out of the business of running a startup? He could focus his time on Regen. He would then be a customer/client of Intellicell and many other supplier companies. Simple Cortisone shots are about $250. Series of 3 SynVisc (or similar) shots in 3 Office visits can be $1,000. Simple Stem Cell "treatment" can be $10,000. Complex Stem Cell "treatment" ?????? but, assumed a multiple of $10,000. Botox & his other treatment options can be whatever the Market will bear. We all must consider that the good Dr might just want to be a very rich Dr and not a pioneer. Now, that might actually be good for us shareholders. Any thoughts by our serious minded shareholders - who understand way more than I do? Thanks! Go SVFC >>> $$$
