It is always good news when an insider of a publicly traded company purchases stock in the company, unless you're shorting a stock or just outright hate the company for whatever reason.
I mentioned earlier that I think there is a high level game of negotiation going on for another company to purchase Elite. When I saw the CEO make the large purchase his action showed that there was nothing material going on officially for a buyout as the SEC has strict rules on when an insider can buy or sell stock when there is non-public news about to break.
This company, Elite, will most likely be bought out or at the least, partner up with another company on good financial terms for the company.
Officially there is nothing on paper between the company and another company as that would trigger SEC interest especially with the insider buy, but unofficially... Next week, this month, early next year, without warning, a deal could be presented to the company 'on paper' and then we'll see who is mocking the company. I'll bet it won't be those like me with lots, and lots of ltcg shares...
Going, going, SOLD! Congratulations to the winner, you now own Elite Pharma complete with the patents, pipeline, data, and success...
Read lately the speculation from those who I don't have on ignore and see there are thoughts of a merger or buyout. It will be a buyout, a complete buyout.
Companies and rich people buy a project before it is finished, only fools buy a finished product at the peak of its value.
Case in point: Warren Buffet buys the 'before' and the 'after success' never does he buy a company at the peak of success. Land developers buy raw land knowing what the value will be after clearing the trees, putting in power and roads.
The CEO is playing a great hand of poker, even his statement said in 'jest' about how he would sell 'tomorrow morning' was well played.
There is no doubt about the success ELTP has had in the ART arena since the company started pursuing it years ago.
This company is in the process of being acquired. In the past, the companies I have owned that were bought out usually had a sale price hinging on the average closing price of the stock price for a period of days, plus a premium factor.
The company has already released numbers of what an independent company valued the company at, so I get to sit back and enjoy what is now ltcg for me.
I have no idea what the sale price will be but I suspect it will be $3.00/share+ or another way I look at it. 1.8 billion to 2.5 billion in the form of Elite stock being exchanged for the acquiring companies stock.
I suggest people sell their shares of ELTP so as to drive the pps down, this way I can buy some more cheaply and make more money soon. If you're buying ELTP, use your own research and not the opinions of people such as myself or others who are using message boards.
When the message board sentiment says, "Buy, going to the moon!" or some such nonsense, it usually is said as the pps moves up but in almost all cases the pps retreats and drops.
The opposite is also true such as the general comments by the majority of the posters at the moment, "I like ELTP but it will never go up, something must be wrong," and the pps, such as the past two days drops.
Here is what is going to happen for ELTP, it will make an investor like myself, money. Why? Because the pps will go up and go up greatly, on its own, without any help from a message board and when it does and the, "Buy, going to the moon!" crowd starts their hype, I'll be the one selling, just as when those saying, "ELTP will only go down from here..." this is when I buy...
Good luck on your own form of investment.
Read the latest SEC filing. Still no products, a lot of debt, some legal actions taking place...but, stock paid to consultants instead of cash, talk of start up sales at some American stores, and insiders buying stock...
The price of the stock is right where it should be and maybe a little overpriced based on the current 'public' news but m-a-y-b-e this company can start selling some real products? We shall see.
You would think that with the politicians screwing us all so much, the condom sales would skyrocket but I guess the politicians don't use Vystar condoms.
Aqua, please understand that is not how the game is played. ELTP will probably go to .08, probably next week. I say this because the charts have formed an inverse, green line passing through the red line, and if this keeps going, the maroon line will be erased!
Think about the fundamentals: The Isradipine drug will not be released until late Summer or early Fall. In the meantime people cannot afford to get sick thus drug companies cannot sell drugs, especially generic, and especially:

(a) The name of our competitor’s branded product if our product is a generic product.
Also, Elite Pharma is a 'pump and dump' scheme as shown since the massive drop of the stock price.
Yea, I'm sorry to have to be right but the stock price is going to drop to .08 and maybe in about three years will get a 52 week high of .10.
That is how the 'game' is played.
Alright, I'm impressed with the recent flurry of insider buying. Pushing the SEC button on my trading platform shows 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4, ...
Now, if any of you insiders are reading this, how about the products? I thought there was going to be a company line of products released? Maybe it has and not yet been announced? Maybe there are troubles with something?
I'm glad the insiders have faith though, that is always a good sign, products or no products.
Interesting, you state that the company can be a real company again and yet the company does show revenue, does show an increase in licensed customers and is working on paying down the debt.
True, dilution does no investor in GERS any good but let say, for SAG's, that SJ comes through in GERS's favor and the PPS goes up like crazy, and then, as you state, will drop again. Now, do you know if there are some other financing companies out there willing to take a position in GERS on better terms than YAGI but are waiting for a SJ, (appeal or not withstanding)? If during a SJ in the companies favor anything is possible and the PPS could go up even further, stay the same or drop. Such is investing.
No investor in any company knows for absolute certainty what will happen with any company. For example: you state you hold 400,000 shares for 'in case' and yet when or if the pps goes to .0001 then are you going to add or will you wait for another r/s? 400,000 shares in another 1/100 r/s would only be 4,000 shares and when those shares go to .01, will only be worth $40. Sounds like you will be buying more shares, the only question is, at what price and when.
Time and money in perspective.
For the past five months the price of ELTP has held steady and for some, especially those buying above .50, has languished. Five months of holding steady but with much great news. Five months of a great stock price after five years of survival mode for the company.
Five months from now will be Dec, a time where an FDA filing may take place, for just one drug with fantastic revenue avenues opened up for both the company and the investor.
Five months from now the price of ELTP will be much different than the past five months. Five months...
Now just imagine twelve months from now, I know I can.
I'm an antique and remember the days when there were no computers, the days when my stock broker would get on the telephone and call to buy stock.
In today's world of computer technology. Level II, trading platforms, message boards, it has come to the nano-second realm of buying and selling stocks.
Sure back in the good old days there was insider trading and illegal stuff just as there is today but when it comes to 'stocks' be they sold short, naked shorts, good-till-canceled orders, limit orders, stops, market orders, options, warrants... it still is 'stock' being sold and stock being bought.
As for ELTP or any stock, people are buying and selling, it is only the machines that help in that endeavor.
These facts as you present them, one never seems to mention the fact that I often put in a limit sell at, oh, lets say .365, just after a huge block sells for .36 and then the price drops to .355 with a bid of .34 and in a few seconds my sale goes through at .37. Huh? I placed a 'limit' order at .365 and yet it sold 'higher' than I wanted. Must be those crazzzzzy Market makers along with those selling shorts, and dirty naked shorts at that.
Even had a 'all or nothing' limit sell order for something like $1.05 and the stock price closed at $1.06 and yet my order did not fill. I called the broker, he said, "Yep, I'll look into it." The order was made good as someone screwed up. Imagine that, humans screw up and machines? No, it is impossible that machines can screw up, or is it?
As for owning ELTP, don't see any mistakes so far and don't think with the current CEO, there will be.
Back when Elite was delisted from Amex and struggled for years but still held patents and technology, the question is: Why didn't big pharma knock off the company and purchase the core assets cheaply?
(crickets chirping)
Oh, along comes Elites new CEO with his company and takes over the company while adding his own companies value in the form of stock purchase and products and as a result I'm going to book long term capital gains.
It's nice to see an intelligent man take advantage of a perfect situation and while he will profit so will I.
Still expecting that unexpected news, so that with the expected news will make for a nice summer.
I also noticed in today's pr that there was no forward looking language as to time line of announcing results. In the last one in June the company said 'two months'.
By not announcing timelines it messes with those investors who sell on the anticipated news and then buying when the price drops. It is good to keep the investor informed but also guessing as to 'when, what, if.' My guess is, soon, success, and if what usually happens after soon and success - profit for those who took the risk.
Two more months and I get to start taking long term capital gains.
Thanks Keith, for your insider buying last week, but when is the Vystar product line going to be announced? I thought it was to be in the second quarter.
Mmm, no news. No contracts. Looking at the chart it is obvious some investors (me included) were thinking the company was going to release an update or contract in the second quarter.
Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun...that's six months to equal two quarters and no news. It is now July and starting the third quarter. I wonder if there will be news?
Come on management, you should have never said there was going to be news in the second quarter, now I start to think this company may not be on the up-and-up or worse, there is bad news and no contracts.
I guess we'll see if this company is a success (I'm hoping) or another failure.
Yep, I like the management, the patents, the technology, the way the legal proceedings are going...
sure it would be great to flip for a 2000% profit if that chance comes but in the meantime, I only listen to my own mind regarding investments and everyone else should do the same.
Now, saying that, I wouldn't mind picking up a lot more shares at .0001.
but what if that were me selling so as to try and drop the price? what if I actually own more than the 400k shares I write on this message board? for that matter, what if it were you selling to try and drive the pps to sub penny?
dilution? maybe someone bailing? maybe someone trying to lower the price? maybe
until some real good news comes out for GERS I say let it go to .0001, no biggy, just another chance to add to my position.
and so, the game continues.
It is fun to speculate and even greater fun to make profit in a company such as ELTP.
I wonder, as the CEO talks serious 'company' stuff with those two interested parties, do you think they talk about 'stuff' us investors would loveto learn about?
Think about it, at the CC a question was raised about the other companies embeda and with great confidence the CEO answered it would be released.
Now, as for the speculation, what if the CEO and the other interested parties are talking about the technical aspects of Elites pipeline? I know if I were interested in another company to better my own company and I also knew the 'nuts and bolts' of the other company, and I also knew another company is interested...
Yep, my speculation is that the CEO of Elite is not only brilliant but an excellent poker player.
I don't think you are the only one planning on taking an initial position or adding shares to their portfolio's.
As I stated yesterday the game has changed as too, the players. Just like the CEO knows that Pfizer's Embeda will launch so too those investors who make lots of money in the market.
Greed is a wonderful and powerful thing. Knowledge is power and ELTP has given every person an open book of knowledge as to the plans and steps taken by the company thus far.
As I stated earlier, everyone has seen the playbook for ELTP thus the selling on the news and buying while waiting for the next expected event. While the plan is still obvious we now are entering into the 'unexpected' news, news which could come out tomorrow or in five weeks, all leading up to the expected and known event of expecting results, partnership, and the application of the NDA later this year.
Next year at this time the pps will reflect the power of greed to be sure.
Huh, imagine that, yesterday I said I was not very good at predicting the pps but guessed today would close down and down it did. I also said it would be easy to sell on the expected news (like today) and then buy when the price settles down in anticipation of the next 'expected' news. After listening to today's CC, I now change that opinion. There is now too much 'unexpected' news in the forecast, especially when the CEO says not one but two companies are active in communication. It takes two to tango and I do love a bidding war.
The CEO sounded tired at the beginning of the CC but his demeanor picked up half-way through. Aside from the moron who called in, obviously forgetting to take his meds and talking about his pie, it was a good call.
For me the game with ELTP has changed today. Next month, August, more news, more work being done by 39 employee's of ELTP. The stock price going forward will give those chartist's something to ponder, what with hammers, hockey sticks and other voodoo guess's but the price and activity of the stock shares will be different than the last six months,I'm thinking it will be much different as the game has changed and now so too, the players.
IF those people who sold at .22 bought at a lower price such as .06, they made excellent coin. The pps continued up and they either went elsewhere or maybe bought at .32 and sold at .70. Then they bought and sold just like those who sold today, maybe those who sold will go elsewhere or buy back at a lower price than today.
I want long term capital gains on ELTP as I like the potential of 'surprise!' news. As it stands now, the CEO has stated his plan and the company has followed the plan, thus 'no surprise' and making it easy for those who trade by selling on those 'planned' news events.
Very predictable and as I said, many investors have made excellent profit trading the highs and lows ELTP has experienced the past few months.
There are some investors in ELTP who are like me and are holding for at least 12 months, but I suspect most, to include those who say, "I'll never sell until the pps is $5.00 or $6.00..." I think they may be some of those investors making excellent profits, and I doubt there would be any argument that profit of any sort is bad.
Oh, one more reason I won't sell until Fall is that I'm greedy and that I hardly ever am correct in daily pps forecasts but do pretty well guessing long term. For example, my prediction for tomorrows pps is that the price will be in the red at the close of trading, I'll probably be wrong but such is the ART of guessing...
Congrats on those who sold near the end of the trading day. The company has been very transparent with news and so barring the 'unexpected' news of buyout or partner tomorrow will be another excellent day to sell. I now see the trends of, "Eltp is going up, up, up..." and when any expected positive news comes out, bam! Selling for profit takes place and the pps cannot sustain support and drops so those sellers can buy again.
In fact, if multiple traders sold about 30 million shares tomorrow panic would set in and drive the pps down to .30 (maybe less) and then with timed small buys the smart traders would reload the barrel.
There are some traders making some fantastic profits with this stock, just look at the chart.
If I was brave enough and had the money to spend I'd sell my decent amount of shares with the rest of the players and then buy back as the price drops. But, my plan for this stock is to hold until Fall and start to take the expected profits without the tax burden.
In the meantime, congrats to those of you playing the game.
Refreshing to read a point of articulation pertaining to the matter at hand - Elite and its value.
Another fact can be made about Elite by the showing of just how many people read social media posts. Here on the IH forum many thousands read daily and many on both sides of "ELTP- thumbs up or ELTP thumbs down" appear never to need sleep, such is the enthusiasm of getting their message or opinion out. This social media fact is so obvious to see and would not exist if people did not think ELTP is worth talking about.
As to Elite this week, since the company has laid out an obvious road map for all to see, my opinion is for those who bought ELTP to trade, to sell their large blocks, much like many have done so during the last few months of 'positive' news blips. By selling you will drive the price down and you can reload.
Those people who are selling on the positive news are definitely making money, over-and-over. Now, the one caveat is 'unexpected' news. Yes, there suddenly could be news that,"such and such a company just tendered a buyout offer for Elite," and the pps soars.
The bottom line is that Elite has gone from hard times: financially/leadership, to making great gains both financially/leadership, and barring negative news such as rats being found in the lab then the ultimate ending for this particular company is most, if not all investors playing long or short will make money.
I fully understand your plan but since you know so much about the way the stock price of GERS is going to act why not sell your 400,000 shares today and drive the price down. With your large block of shares plus all the dilution by Yagi you could take the money you make today and buy an even larger block in a few weeks at (which do you think, .005 or maybe .0001?)
Other investors like you think the same way and know the price will continue to drop and should sell today also to help the price drop faster thus opening up a great buying opportunity on no news, heck, I'll even buy more with you at .005 or .0001.
The reason I'm not selling my 400,000+ shares is that I think the price will go up, but if I thought the pps will do as you and others state, then I'd join you in selling and driving the price down and then walk away knowing I had made the correct decision or if still liking GERS, buy a whole lot more, especially if Yagi is selling diluted shares at .0001.
At the moment, I think the company has a good future.
Have you sold your 400,000 shares yet or added more at this level? If what you say is going to happen you should sell your shares and buy them back at a lower price.
It's not rocket science for those with money and like to trade. Buy 100,000 shares in the 30's and sell in the low 40's when 'potential' news or events are on the near horizon.
Example: Buy 100k shares at .35 -$35K Wait and sell at .42 - $42K for a gain of $6k. Do this based on the past performance there were three events to do this including today.
Upside? Profit when the pps goes up like it does and if it keeps going up, so what, $18k for a few months work 'ain't' bad.
My plan is to start selling long term capital gains this Fall but I admire those who are working the cycles.
I do love profit and I like ELTP.
It is nice to see a bit more trading activity in VYST, I wonder when news will come out regarding what the company talked about in the SEC filings and PR's earlier this year?
Also, I wonder what happened with the Prosta Glove, Cosy-flex and the talks between the company and Beacon Sales and Business solutions.
I also wonder if my investment in VYST will be profitable or not, I guess only time will tell.
Getting ELTP listed on the Amex, there are four standards all of which the company can meet except one, the stock price has to be $3.00 on three of the standards and $2.00 on one.
The recent $5mil to the company checkbook helps with the equity but it is that sticky stock price, a price those not friendly towards the company never want to see. A reverse split could get the company in the realm of being listed but would also give more fodder to those with ill intentions towards the company, more power.
Patience is a virtue and what is nice about the company is that in the next year (6-15 months)all the requirements for all four standards of listing on the Amex will be met and the great thing about it is that nothing those who hate the company and wish for its demise, those people will be helpless to stop it.
This stock, as I've said before, is an excellent investment long term for me and when it gets listed on another board along with all the potential drug releases...Yep, I'll be in even a better mood than I am now.
Nice! (I like the word, nice) It is great (what happened to, nice?) As I was saying, it is great andnice to see more insider buying. On the newest SEC filing 100,000 more shares on the 6th of June.
Nice! Great! and dance a jig on the old milk shed.
If GERS licenses its technology to an ethanol plant in the woods and no investors are there to see it, did it really happen?
"Huh?"
Exactly. Today the pps did well and all of a sudden the message board is filled with new names to show the world.
One of the joys of penny stocks such as GERS is that some people are trying to drive the pps of a penny stock of which they purchased cheaply (see the trades of the last few weeks) and then once the price goes up for a few days (see the next few days trading activity) the sound and names disappear only to leave one to wonder if anyone was around to see or hear it.
GERS, gotta love the games. One can ignore the games or if you bought recently...sell along with the other players while the pps goes up a bit before the tree falls.
Nice, end-of-the day volume...
Wonder if it had anything to do with the SEC filing today?
I read it and did not fall asleep this time as there was mention made of potentially selling mattress's to a hospital.
Sounds good to me.
Like I said earlier, if the stock price goes up and I make a lot of money I'm gonna buy me one of them there pillows and mattress's.
If you liked ELTP at .44 and it is now at .35 and you want to buy more, and the company or business plan has not changed dramatically...then why mess around and wait for a lower number?
Sure ELTP could go to .20 and you buy more, ( I sure will and put those blocks of shares into my '12' month plan.)
To each their own as to what they own, when they own and how much they own.
Good luck to you on your form of investing.
No complaints regarding ELTP. I'm a long term investor in some stocks and flip others. ELTP is one I like holding long.
It is fun to watch both 'sides' battle about delays, secrecy, websites, Dianne, or whatever the flavor of the day and while that is fun, it is profitable to have been lucky enough to buy more ELTP this last week so as in twelve months the capital gains should be pretty nice...fun even.
.35 today + 12 months = (conservative .50) (normal expectation 1.25)(optimistic 3.00) Not bad percentages.
Downside to ELTP? Well, I suppose the FDA could find a dead rat in the mixing vat or humanity suddenly does not need medicine, but all-in-all, ELTP is one of my favorites from an investing standpoint.
As an added bonus I get to start taking long term capital gains this Fall.
Read the latest SEC filing, it was long and then longer and just before I fell asleep I saw the little sentence where it said the company is going to launch a product in the second quarter. It was followed by long boring stuff and lead by long boring stuff but take a look, the sentence is there.
To make it easier I will paste it here: Gloves, as a segment, are the biggest segment of users of natural rubber latex. Vystar has focused on fewer segments of the marketplace as we see trends in areas that look to embrace the low non-rubber aspects of Vytex NRL such as adhesives, balloons, condoms, bandages, etc. and Vystar plans to launch a line of branded foam products during the second quarter of 2014. Initial, non-scientific, market research points to a definite market for pure natural rubber latex foam products made with Vytex NRL.
If you want to look it up yourself (You risk falling asleep) it is on page 22
I wonder if the products will be Vystar condoms 'Tower of Power' bandages called 'Vystar Ouchie Gones' adhesives, 'Vystar Duct Tape'
We shall see.
Definitely before the second coming of Jesus and after the greasy burger I had for dinner passes out of my life...
Seriously though, go to the Skunk site and read the latest from ICM,the legal dream for lawyers just goes on and on and on, but bear in mind the judge may not render SJ for anyone involved and the case goes to trial.
Thanks, that is about the number I'm currently at also. Do you plan on buying more if the pps dips to .0005, or just hold fast. I'm asking because if you think there will be some SJ 'hype' don't you think it would be a great profit to buy at .01 - .0005 and sell at .05 (or higher)?
For what my opinion is worth (not much) ifa positive SJ is issued in GERS favor there will be immediate appeals by some of the infringer's but I suspect some will also cut their losses and officially join the GERS team and technology thus setting a better financing opportunity for GERS.
Anyway, thanks for answering.
Thanks plinter1, I have not read about your position in GERS before but now understand you don't own any shares, that might prove to be a wise decision or one of regret. Nobody has publicly stated he too was out but then said he had "A lot" of shares for 'just in case'. Not that it is any of my business but I'm curious to see if he was buying today as it was a good buying opportunity.
I too have bought more and if, as some speculate, the stock drops into the sub penny range, it will be fun to buy more.
For me, this stock is worth the risk and if I lose it all - tax loss against my fantastic gains in other companies.
Good luck on your form of investing.
A good day to pick up some GERS. How many shares did you pick up today nobody12378? I remember you said you sold all your shares but then I noticed you posted you still had a lot. If owning a lot of GERS is good than buying more must be better.
Just a guess but if any company breaks away from the herd and settles it will probably be the one with the most to lose and the least in assets. By this strange statement I mean a company that wants to grow financially and has the will to do so but currently is not in the best financial shape.
A company in weak financial shape and really does not care for its future would be the last to settle as that company would just declare BK and move on.
A company in strong financial shape and growing will also be the last to settle.
If a SJ is issued in GERS favor and an appeal is immediately sought by those companies at fault, I feel that GERS would be able to gain better financing as the appeal would be very hard to win with the greater possibility of GERS ultimately prevailing. Also, it is best to keep in mind that those companies have stockholders to answer too and would probably do some soul searching to decide if they should pay now with their company stock price dropping a little or settle later with their stock price dropping a little at the announcement of the SJ and then dropping once the final decision is made.
All just a guess but I do agree it is slowly going in GERS favor regarding the legal aspect.
Thank you for the buy signal. You are correct. There is so much doom and gloom that nobody wants to buy GERS, so how much have you bought lately? Do you think I can buy more without causing the pps to rise?
Snoopy you da dog! (I couldn't resist) I too think VYST is going to have some action soon. I noticed the last few trading days have increased in volume.
I can't predict the stock price in the near future as I have a horrible track record of doing so but I do like the numbers you throw out there.
If I make some good money on VYST I'm going to buy one of the pillows and mattress made out of their product and sleep soundly!
Woof!
The main reason I bought into VYST is the fact the insiders went on a buying spree this year. I like the fact they have patents and a plan regarding a product widely used in everything from condoms to pillows.
I don't know what the market will be for their products but I don't know of many people who sleep without a mattress and pillow or visit a doctor who does not use gloves.
The test for the stock price will be the next PR put out regarding positive news of their product. I hope it is a good one.
I did pick up some more today and will wait and see.
