"I’ve become loopy from this investment. :0) The sentiment was rather than throw away $19k a month - and by now they have presumably wasted hundreds of thousands on that oversized and underused office space- use it for something of value. If Leo believes the stock is undervalued, the company can buy it back and reissue shares when the price reaches that unimaginable figure after the big deal is struck. The likelihood of that happening is zero and that may be for a good reason. At minimum, Leo would be better off using a portion of that money to hire an accountant who will tell him that it is not prudent to spend beyond his means. On a positive note, we closed up .0029 today."
"Become loopy" is putting it nicely. I doubt they've intentionally thrown 19k/month away, I suspect they failed to notify Cummings within prior to 6 months before the old lease was to expire. No notice, automatic renewal. I believe they fell asleep at the wheel. I know not why else they would spend what they do not have, other than to say they dropped the ball.
Anyhow, not sure how many occupy the office on a daily basis. I know they had a part timer in A/P(accounts payable) as of last October to cut those weekly account draining "executive" checks, among whatever other expenditures.
I check in with Cummings periodically for confirmation of the occupancy by ipix.
My
So, are you suggesting, or saying, he was not terminated because of a car accident?
Just trying to keep score.
“Dr. Menon was not terminated, he left of his own accord due to failing health from an auto accident.“
Interesting, had not heard that, nor was I informed of that by him when we last spoke in March, 2018
Who’s/what is your source?
You are one of the most knowledgeable posters on this board.
Thanks
How many laboratory techs/administrators do they(ipix) currently employ? How many bodies fill that space?

They got a bargain! Secured for less than the ceo’s weekly salary.
Joe: Uh, Alex I’ll bet my whole purse holdings and go with “Rome was not built in a day”
Alex: Good try Joe, but that is not correct. The correct phrase is “Rome is burning”. Thanks for tuning in everyone, good night.
You’ve contacted them, what was(is) the reply.
“Wonder if the Irish subsidiary is as busy as the Beverly office?”
The Irish are known as doers and go-getters, but the landscape has changed some, and the Irish Staits have been infiltrated recently, and not for the first time..
What’s the phone number of ipix Ireland?
Mystery?
Leo the Lion and hardy har-har.
“These guys are far ahead of IPIX. Already dosing patients with the pill form in a phase 3 trial. We just recently contracted with a manufacturer to start investigation/manufacture of the pill and have no deal to get funding for a phase 3 trial. .......”
Can’t argue with any of that. I also find it interesting that Aprena Pharmaceuticals is actively seeking to hire a number of individuals in their BOSTON office(Summer St- right in the heart of the City).
https://www.arenapharm.com/careers/
Can’t make this up.
There’s always a chance one entity is making up something.
Hope on, ipix!
“Apparently, big pharma isn’t swayed by Art and Leo’s exaggerated belief in the IPIX pipeline. Big press release about the term sheet and then... nothing. Same pattern. “
Nor the Boston Business Journal. They have a reputation to maintain which is likely why they no longer touch this company.
‘‘Twas trading bout 1.60 upon your first post. Don’t have to be a mathematician
When was your first purchase?
This stock is awesome! Anyone who has lost money is nothing but a fool! Learn how to read a chart is the message of “da longs”.
STAY AWAY.
How long did it take to formulate, and write, the Declaration of Independence? How about fight, and win, a Civil War on American soil? Penning of the Marshall Plan? How long for the US to assemble and construct an industry to support the WW2 effort? The suggestive challenge by a President(a ww2 vet), accomplished, to land a man on the moon, within a decade of the challenge?
How long?
For the record JTO, it’s “only” $19,000/month as noted in the filings.
They were able to dilute their portion of the lease for many years by ~$900/month when a company by the name of KARD occupied a small space within 151-B at 100 Cummings Center. KARD employed two or three people.
Sounds as though you’ve made plenty during this dreadful, nearly 5 year decline. Good for you.
Why on earth has ipix remained in that quarter(plus) of an acre office space with such a skeleton staff?
Thx LR,
All I know, at this point I believe is that he's lying through teeth(right or wrong).
How about in your own thoughts, and words?
I am now of the opinion that management views the sec forward looking statement clause as not only their primary defense for unrealized"goals", I also believe the sec forward looking statement clause is, and has been, this company's "mechanism of action".
moo.
“What will Leo pay to have manufactured next?”
A pr out of Canada perhaps?
Understand now, thanks. Is it possible then, by your definition, that early may be sometime later(based on past history)?
...“Nothing increases returns like investing in a winner early”......
Early?
Good question. How is it that some “retail “investors on this site know, evidently quite precisely, how NR(per them, NR stands for non-retail per the retail experts) precisely works?
Please, don’t disparage the huge sacrifices of D-Day to manipulators of a stock. Truth prevailed then, and hopefully in this case. Never the less, disingenuous to even attempt to compare.

One paragraph, which says a lot about Morgan(and the men and women of that time):
Charlie Lieberth, who was a headquarters company soldier in my unit, was very badly wounded in Normandy. He was probably struck by explosives fired by an 88-millimeter from a tank. He was bleeding and had fractures and shrapnel throughout. I rushed to his aid, and of course, the main thing is to stop the bleeding. In those days we used tourniquets and as I was working on him, administering first aid, a German tank started coming down the road and Charlie recognized this. All of a sudden he said, “Morgan, get the hell out of here! This tank’s coming along the road, there’s no point in both of us being killed!” I just kept concentrating on taking care of Charlie; there’s no way I was going to leave him, and he kept saying, “Get out of here! Get out of here.” I must have said, “Charlie, I’m not leaving.” And finally the tank — we were on the side of the road — the tank was even with us on the road, the cover of the turret opened, and a German sticks his head out of the tank and he looks down at us. Charlie says, “Oh, my God! They’re going to get us both! They’re going to kill us both!” All of a sudden the German pulled the cover shut, and the tank took off. And Charlie said, “Well, there is some honor on the battlefield after all.”

“What better timing could there be than for Leo to announce a Big Deal with Big Pharma tomorrow morning?“
Hope you are right, but I highly doubt it. More likely he’ll announce that a number of unnamed pharmas expressed a lot of interest in indications(unnamed) and that further negotiations are likely to follow.
In the meantime, this will continue to be the “ Pacific Heights” of stock investments, a stock manipulated by “those who know”.
The cfo hires accountants(required), the ceo can’t hit the broad side of a barn with any estimate, accurately, but rather tells shareholders what he wants them to hear. Runs a skeleton crew operation in an office with more square footage than many house lots(land area).
We know no one answers the phone, who watches the books(rhetorical question)?
Why would a TRUE investor bash their investment?
Remember Richard Nixon? Why would the populace become disgruntled with someone who won every state but one?
Not months, coming weeks...remember those words? How long ago was that phrase used by management?
Big pharma must be circling around them in Philly like flies on sh!
Are you trying to suggest ipix has some sort of agreement, or an affiliation with MilliporeSigma, or trying to entice new investors’ that ipix does?
Idk, seems off topic.
A double, that’s it? Barely where it was a year ago. Talk about Great Expectations.
What a disappointing story authored by the novelist’s up in Beverly.
Your statement is without a supportive argument, is also inconclusive, and unproven.
BACK YOUR STATEMENT UP!
“I prefer living a positive life and the data so far make that an easy option with IPIX”.
Please, quantify your closing statement. Specifics please regarding data(guessing the the shorts are the ones living easy options, and easy, positive, economic lives over the past 3-5 years.), but I will digress to you, as you appear to correct all.
Cybermich,
Appreciate your response, ty.
1. I do not declare my share transactions, be they holdings, purchases, or sells.
2. What management decisions have added value to your investment in ipix/ctix?
3. To me, the company has lost steam(credibility), in the past year or three(look at a chart). Compare the company(sp as far as LONG investors are concerned) 3 years ago, compared to today.
How are they further along? Forward looking statements, apparently, is how.
4. Regarding chances, I won’t speculate, other than to say this management team has left me feeling queasy the past couple years(not always the case, in earlierdays).
5. I hope you are not suggesting I’m spreading fud, I’m not. Don’t know where you come from, but I was raised to ask a question, or raise a concern I might have, and talk about it.
Thanks again, and luck.
“That's ALWAYS the case until a company gets their first deal.. “
Are you suggesting all biotechs end up with deals? More than a few “longs” have poo-pooed actual investors who are not content with management’s handling of broadcasts(they’ve revealed vague business achievements without ever naming who they are with. This company has been run by one. Lest things change extremely quickly, it’ll be clear that the judge and jury are one.).
At best, I fear he’s in over his head, and should have taken a “pay cut” and hired a seasoned CEO(and a secretary!)
I guess you know the “game” being played better than most.
There’s only one reason I’ve held at this point.
GLTU
I looked for their name on the 2019 Bio International website and could not find them either. Re-read the pr and can only guess they may partake in the Bio One on One partnering defined below.

“The next announcement of substance will be the signing of a deal. “
I would begin that sentence with the word “hopefully”. Talk of deals goes back at least 3 years or so. No one knows( or should know- maybe some do?) whether a deal WILL the next announcement of substance.
A look at the company chart indicates how long it’s been between “announcement of substance”.
Passed two well dressed men (in sneakers)walking in the Mass Pike breakdown lane(Charlton area)with a placard in one of their hands(the other was carrying a stick over his shoulder with a small cloth bag tied to the end).
Scrolled on the placard was the following:
To: Philly(let's make a deal!).
Here is Judge Faila’s direct quote, ctix, now ipix, was in no way absolved, based upon my interpretation. In my opinion, she wrote a poor concluding argument(she left it neutral).
“
After winning a ruling in June 2016 dismissing the fraud claims, Cellceutix asked the judge to fine Rosen Law Firm, arguing that its attorneys had failed to adequately investigate the claims before rushing to the courthouse.
U.S. District Judge Katherine Polk Failla rejected that argument in Wednesday’s ruling. She said that while the claims in the suit lacked merit, they were “not indefensible.”

“The court understands defendants’ frustration at having to defend against a class action lawsuit that proceeded from, and perpetuated, ominous reports about Cellceutix’s long-term prospects for survival,” the judge wrote. “The fact that it was able to do so successfully does not mean, however, that it is entitled to sanctions from plaintiff or his counsel.”
