Company did their same smoke and mirror campaign of PR's before earnings. It's all so predictable.
Last chance you'll ever have at these prices
Fire sale!
My lump of coal just turned into a diamond!
After looking at the close I think we will surprise to the upside.
Drumroll please.........
Apdn is the perfect company to target. Some micro caps get taken down and they stay down. Because apdn has such a bright future it keeps bouncing back like a spring thus allowing the mm's to rape it again and again and again.
All of those nice neat 5000 and 10000 trades are algorithmic trading programs. They calculated it was time for the tide to go out. Has nothing to do with fundamentals. It's just because they can get away with it.
Besides, he knows what earnings look like
I think the good doctor must have needed some Christmas shopping money so he cashed in some of those 50 mill. shares.
Me too. The machines however aren't programmed to wait for 500%.
They take a five cent profit every month. That adds up over time. If you can take a stock up and down at will why wait for the company to grow?
Impossible to manipulate aapl in the same way this stock is toyed with. Till apdn gets up listed this is how it will be.
There will come a time when the outstanding shares will be gobbled up by long term investors. At that point the machines will take their exploitation elsewhere .
Damn machines
Looks like a mm selling program kicked in around 12:45pm
I vote for $12!! Stability is overrated!
Holding out for 3 or 4 digit prices. It will happen.
Does anyone have the ability to see if any insider buying is going on? The Dr. Just upgraded his Christmas present to his wife from a Porsche to a Lamborghini.
Shorts borrow the shares from an institution, then they immediately sell them to the suckers. The suckers drive the price up. When the suckers stop buying the price goes down; with some help from their bid wacking technique . Once the price is as low as they can drive it they cover their short position, giving the shares back to the institution from which they borrowed by buying the shares they owe the institution at a much lower price and pocket the difference . All of this is done by a computer that figures all of this out for them.
Expecting to be disappointed till they prove otherwise
I think it's the company. When the insiders have the news they need before you and me they will load up and then let it rip. just my own jaded theory.
Apdn always follows the same pattern. They announce some fluffy news and then follow it up with a less than impressive earnings report. So far they appear to be doing the same this quarter. No mandate yet.
Good days lie ahead. Not hope but certainty.
We all saw this set up coming last Friday.
My guess is one trading firm accounted for 95% of the share transactions today. Hundred thousand days when they don't participate and multi million share days when they do. Has nothing to do with the company story or fundamentals, just exploiting weakness. IMO
The powers that be have declared we will go up today. Scam us up and scam us down. Whatever
Must be nice to have all that wisdom. I'll bet you are a multi-millionaire. LOL
Sorry, I just noticed my brilliant observation was also posted by Vans.
79600 plus 400 = 80,000
The 400 buyer and the 79600 buyer are one in the same. It's obvious.
Very interesting article Mike. Impressive. Had no idea harvesting trees was such a science.
Why is the government sector blank for apdn? Am I reading the chart wrong?
I was snowmobiling in Yellowstone park a few years ago. It was a cold and windy day. As my friend and I were walking through the geysers and springs there was a park ranger standing next to a hole taking notes. We asked him what he was doing. He said, "you fellas are in for a special treat. This geyser blows once every seven years and you and I are the only ones who will get to see it. It should happen any minute now." We waited five more minutes and were starting to walk away when all of a sudden a two hundred foot flume of boiling water turned to vapor in the minus 4 air on a bluesky day. APDN is like that geyser. It will erupt but you have to keep your shares in the game to benefit. It's been a long time since that mandate last year but it will erupt again. If you are not in the game you will miss it. That is the nature of this stock at this point and time in the company's history. We don't know when but we do know it will blow sky high at some point.
It's a computer program with an agenda, not a person. The people just check the sluice box at the end of the day. Each small trade is a tiny piece of gold. Thousands of pieces of gold add up.
That's how it was meant.
Actually a John Grisham like novel that involves big money and lawyers would be a better fit.
You should write novels. You are very picturesque with the English language. You could start with a Tom Clancy like novel about a small group of traders taking on "the Firm" and beating them at their own game.
Their computers roam all of the exchanges like sharks looking to exploit weakness. We are not the only victims in the casino.
It will happen
For now that's how it appears. That all goes away with stellar earnings. Too many little guys got burnt by the Patrick cox pump and dump as well as the creede dilution. Apdn needs to gain investor confidence back. Giving your CEO 50 million shares doesn't exactly build investor confidence either.
