December 4 is a firm date, not tentaive.
Per my spider senses...a good news would not be held up...
Bad news coming...
Very interesting, thank you!
"I wonder if Kim only hired him on a yearly basis because he may sell before then."
Or more likely that Kim doesn't know the future of the Company, or that Jon didn't want to sign for more than a year...
Well, there seems to be a general discontentment on the current situation of the Company and the way the CEO is handling it. However, I don't think this is done on purpose, but I agree that the CEO may have chosen the hard way to success.
His attorney background maybe the hurdle in the entreprenial spirit it takes to bring the production to fruition, i.e. he may not be taking the risks required to advance the Company to full commercial production. Maybe the fact that he is dealing with the army (or a partner that is associated with contracts with the army) and a country that is totalitarist is not helping us progress but more likely stagnate.
His strategy to deal with more than one stream of fiber at a time is probably also not helping...
Something is not working...
I hope KBLB will choke Biotech stories by having WM (or others) present their products made of spider silk from KBLB...
So, is it you that put the ask at 200$?
Nope, I believe they are derived from the biofilms produced from e-coli. Second period!
"Let me know how well you feel after eating a yogurt made from ecoli."
Let me know when you produce a yogourt made from e-coli, I'll make sure that your food and drug agency is aware....
"But in this world "nobody cares" is completely wrong. Someone ALWAYS cares"
Fortunately most people care, but using a bacteria to produce a good is not anything new, yogourt and cheeze are good examples! Bacteria are used in manufacture of foods and production of antibiotics, probiotics, drugs, vaccines, starter cultures, insecticides, enzymes, fuels, solvents and with engineering technology bacteria can be programmed to make various substances (ex: the biofilms produced from the e-coli bacteria).
No it does not.
No it wouldn't, do you know what nylon is made of, or lycra, or spendex? Some include petrolium or other dangerous chemicals and yet people don't feel dirty or do not feel they arw at risk of getting poisoned. Your point simply does not make sense!!!!!
Well, taking just the portion that suites your need isn't either. I did respond to the question. Further more, you had the answer right in the quarterly news letter!?
I hope people will not start eating their parkas...!
I think people (those who are producing) understand it is not the same e-coli as the one in food. Surely they would not write that the clothing is made of e-coli but rather synthetic fiber.
"The Company sees the opportunity to establish operations in Vietnam as a priority and is actively engaged in discussions to see it finalized. Our negotiations in Vietnam have drawn out longer than anticipated, but they are coming to a head shortly."
That leaves litle doubt as to where we will be producing our silk!
"Are you certain it applies to Vietnam presently?"
Why wouldn't it? He mentioned he wanted to produce in Vietnam and he met with officials in Vietnam, he also mentioned a very specific region in VN...unless he says something but does another?!
It explains nothing, Kim mentioned he wanted to merge or acquire an existing company, so not much of what Truth has provided applies.
IMO, the meeting Kim had with the Prime Minister was to discuss the steps (including changes in legislation and related security measures) to take for the insertion of the GM silkworms in the VN industry...but obviously, Kim could disclose those aspects of the discussion.
I also think that considering the relation of trust established between VN and the US and the importance of the economic exchanges between the two (specially on the silk industry), VN will rely on the US to define its parameters.
"and as everyone likes to point out, the silk industry in vietnam is huge and hugely important...thus they are likely to move cautiously..."
IMO, it will be quite the contrary, VN will accelerate the recognition of GM silkworms to maintain their competitive edge in the silk industry and even take a greater lead...
And apparently our blog stickies anything and everything!
Strong beginning this morning, maybe the market will see the latest News Letter as more positive than expected?!
"Unfortunately some don't want to see the truth...."
Incredibly, some will see anything as the truth...
Very informative!
Well articulated!
Well appreciated!
"Revert back to his PR stating that metric tons were possible by mid-year...."
Anything is POSSIBLE, as long as your imagination will accept it, however, what you consider as reality may only be in your imagination unless there is a hard evidence that this is true. You know for sure that Kim never told us the Company produced metric tons...after all, he is at the source!
" I have more of an idea of what IS going on than those who say nothing is going on. They have no proof of that; I have proof of what I say. Just read what Kim has said in the past..."
You have no proof, and Kim has not said anything that you claim as proof.
Wow, apparently someone didn't like my reply to Truth. C'est vrai que la vérité choque!
"Kraig Labs recently doubled Monster Silk output and has reached full capacity at its production facility. It hopes to beef up infrastructure and further double production there by the end of this year, Thompson said.
If KBLB followed up with their plan, instead of strategically deciding to scale back, one could reasonably assume that they would have produced several metric tons by now...."
You are defending the undefendeable:
"...doubled Monster Silk output.."
Did Kim ever told us what was the output before its doubling?
"...has reached full capacity at its production facility."
Did Kim ever told us what was the full capacity at its production facility?
Kim did mention that the Company made small shipments of product to WM...as part of its pilot...
Well, those who were looking for the PPS to be below .03 will be pleased on Monday!
Don't even need to spin anything bad, the Company is running hard....on a treadmill!
"You [KC] and mojo have absolutely no idea how far along Kim really is."
Nor do you...unless there is something we don't know about you?!
So, where is the newsletter?!
LOL!!!!!!
Well, a refreshing wind brought a nice change in the Canadian Federal Government! Hope it is the same, when we get the October news letter from our Company! I would consider the Company to be laughing at us...the share holders, if that news letter was only about the new revamped Company's website...
None, no clarity to be provided...Ben will state the obvious, something that we already know, with different words! But what the heck, why not justify why he gets paid for....
Hmmm, Ben to providing more clarity, you've got to be kidding me, right?!
Sorry to hear that...
My sincere condolences to the family.
The vote on the 19th is the election of the new federal government in Canada, it is not the vote for the Pacific trade agreement...and it is certainly not a fait accompli!
