ASFX is surprising me for sure. I was counting on predictions of great PPS growth that is thrown around by the folks rpomoting this stock.
EDIT: Hey Dog / CGF since you two have a lot of this info memorized, do you know what the total debt of ASFX is? Thanks
Seriously doubt they will let this close under .0040 today. Somehow in dogs words they will paint the close.
i read a post somewhere that there was a March 1st S1? please tell me its not so.....
the ASFX 10k is due so the plan as i see it is to cloud the conversation. Once again the company and its facilitators will start the "Next quarter is the one that really counts" campaign. Even I have seen this cycle repeat itself and I have only been around a relatively short time. I still cant get over the Amazon review manipulation, that was as over the top as I have ever seen.
thank you for your concern. I am fine with how I manage my investments. My broker has handled all of my investments since 1992. He will not touch pinks and thinks that this stock is a huge manipulation and i should dump and hell buy lunch, but thats my decision.
So now we have a new wave of speculative hype. New products, new realtionships. Have heard all of this before.
where are the sales numbers and operating results. That is real info. Everytime the same thing happens; as the deadline approaches for providing real data that matters... a new distraction.
Where is a disclosure on the Federal Cort Ordered recall? Where is the MANDATORY disclosure on that actual, real and material event? What did it cost? What happened to the customers that the company in sworn testimony stated they could lose as a result of this self created debacle?
ok, thanks for the clarification. Ive never dealt in bb stocks before.
I got in asfx for very specific reasons and those did not play out. so i really dont know much about this market. my broker wont handle pinks so this is all a challenge for me.
Thanks again
good question. would like to know as well. Its my understanding that the otcbb is done.
Johnson & Johnson’s consumer companies take a new approach to broad-scale external manufacturing that transforms buyers and sellers into true partners.
Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Colgate-Palmolive, Prestige Brands. They’re all big players in the personal care products game, and they all use contract manufacturers to some degree. But none focuses more on closing the gap between external and internal operations than the Skillman, N.J.-based Johnson & Johnson consumer companies.
According to regional director of external manufacturing Bill Babuschak, who oversees external manufacturing of Johnson & Johnson products sold in the U.S. and Canada, the occasional need to outsource larger volumes has driven the need to innovate new supplier-management strategies. But the scale of its outsourcing program is not the most important distinction between Johnson & Johnson and its peers in the personal care arena. The real difference is how the company manages the thousands of SKUs in the Consumer Products division and approaches external manufacturing.
In the past, says Babuschak, Johnson & Johnson used external manufacturers primarily for new product launches that, if successful, were often eventually brought in-house. “Historically,” he explains, “it’s been our bias to make our own products in-house.” He continues, “Quality is the benchmark of Johnson & Johnson. It’s why consumers pick up our products vs. others. And, traditionally, manufacturing internally has given corporations the feeling they could more closely monitor product quality.” But the increasingly dynamic nature of the health-and-beauty care marketplace combined with the growing capability of contract manufacturers to turn out high-quality, competitively priced products prompted the company to begin outsourcing some of its higher-volume SKUs.
Procter & Gamble Takes Outsourcing Global
By Mike Lobash
October 2005
William Reeves gets as much feedback on the facilities he oversees as his company gets from consumers who spend billions annually on products such as diapers, toothpaste and soap.
The difference is that building occupants don’t call a toll-free number if they have comments or questions. They call Reeves directly.
“I get the calls,” says the director of employee and workplace design and delivery services for The Procter & Gamble Co. “If something is wrong, they will find me.”
Reeves is in the midst of overseeing a five-year contract that has handed over Procter & Gamble’s facility management, project management and strategic occupancy services to an outside provider. The scope of the contract is mind-boggling because of its sheer size, the detail required to execute it and the diligence necessary to keep things on track.
EDIT: Question 1 do they do manufcature or do they partially assemble?
Question 2 did they owe money to the manufacturer?
Question 3 did the manufacturer cut them off?
the overwhelming majority of manufacturers are moving to outsource, P&G, J&J the list is long.
BTW their margin is approx 34% this is good?? most CPG cos work on a 10 to 15 % model. The finished product floor cost needs to be between 10 to 15 percent of retail.
EDIT: why did the product have to be phased out and in?, the company's debt is how times revenue? Tell me a company that has that flag to wave.
again, with all due respect, ignore my posts. Why are you so worried about me?
EDIT: gargantuan debt, incredibly onerous terms, lack of revenues, huge outstanding shares, less than half a penny stock, after all these years their revenues are still under $1mm. They created the recall through their own actions. fOR STARTERS I THINK THIS IS ENOUGH.
Dog, I believe they will lose the suit. However that can dance around for years as long as they have the funds to keep lawyers working.
The bigger concern should be the financial results. Eventually the numbers rule.
If the SEC takes a close look at the facebook nonsense vs the sworn testimony it may lead to the SEC addressing that huge loophole via which companies can evade disclosure and caa promote misleading or outright false announcements or proclomations by the comapany or its facilitators
EDIT: a fone call is worthless. and why are you so concerned with me. I have an investment here. My mission is not to simply kow tow to all of the hype. I wont participate in hype. That seems to offend you. I am protecting my investment and will continue to do so. I have already lost enough here. So I will push for change. Since you apparently are thrilled with management and the direction of the business simply ignore my posts. It is really very simple.
I have posted positives when I see them, however those are few and far between. Positives that show up here are from my perspective, mostly all speculative, hype or outright misrepresentations. Then they post that sell thru is 5+ units per outlet per month, but under oath they state actual numbers which are nowhere near the same neighborhood.
I appreciate the professional and civil tone of our exchanges.
We do see some things in the same light. I would tell you however that I dont see the transparency you do. The whole facebook gambit is as deceptive as you can get.
They announce 5.6 units per point of distribution (individual stores) and allude to multiple thousands of stores. Then under oath he (Dr T) admits that there are only 1000 stores and that they are sitting on 4000 units out of 12000 shipped in Sept and Oct.
its unofficial so they post nonsense. The fact that they have yet to annouince the judge's opinion and order to me is amazing. I am not sure that someone will not take them to task on it.
The BS cover story as released about changing the packaging to "Disassociate their product from Technimed's product's REPUTATION" will likely bite them in the rear.
I will say this; the pumping in this stock is disingenous at best and if someone connects the dots with the hyperbolic reviews at Amazon that are being posted by the same individuals, it will certainly discredit the product, company and the stock and could possibly open doors for mainpulation.
i seriously doubt that their "agenda" is to destroy the shareholders. However their incompetence and mismanagement will have that effect. The majority of the posters here and other message boards are apologists or attackers, very few are putting pressure on management and fewer still are actually looking at the metrics of this business. Maybe im dreaming thinking that the actual results of the business matters.
well dog, another day of artificial price manipulation
some one spent 500 bucks to showe a price climb.
EDIT: i never said the ASFX product was inefficient? I am looking at what actual non-pumpers have said in their reviews. These real consumers are stating their observations and opinions. The fact the manipulators have chosen to corrupt the review process at amazon is a different issue.
my thoughts exectaly when I saw what the pumpers had done. that is scary, the diff between 100 and 102 is huge in that scenario. I hope those false posts by pumpers did not lull a parent into thinking that they had a reliable instrument. god help us if this device caused a death or serious complication.
Feels like a morgue. I see an absence of interest. Those reviews were sobering. what was worse was that the ASFX pump machine had manipulated the reviews. I cannot believe I had not looked deeper at those.
do you think the big surge you were looking for today is going to happen? what made you think it was? thanks
OK, Doggone, you got me, I just looked at the positive reviews on Amazon and the first page was mostly posters on here that are constantly pumping the stock. I did not go any further...wow that really was a dissapointment.
The truth usually catches up with you.
Have a good day.
re Reverse Split.
I too thought a RS was inevitable. But I NEVER dreamt that they would increase their authorized shares particularly to 5 billion! That was a huge shocker. Particularly by rolling the shareholders.
It is so rare for a company to exercise the Super Voting Stock play that it never crossed my mind.
However if they do execute a RS now then there is no doubt that its all about crushing the common stock holders.
In all fairness OBI, I havent bought one either. I dont need their product to evaluate management. To me this is all about management. I try to be objective here so I get hammered by both sides. regardless what anyone says here that is not lock step with the Pro ASFX propaganda you get attacked.
That only serves to discredit the stock. Its obviously a coordinated pumping effort.
I read the revues, they were spread out over several months and had a recurring theme. Seemed credible to me. Of course the fact that so many here bought the unit and often bought multiples also affects their reviews.
I will wait for the 10K. If sales are not what they need to be...the company and the regular shareholders are toast.
Management has feathered their own bed via the preffered.
I dont care what they get paid. Its too much.
its a massive conspiracy Doggone. I have to admit that I had thought you and CFG were a bit dramatic about the pumpers and the manipulation but then when the consumers are complaining and that too becomes a massive "Basher" thing, well not much to say after that. The one comment about well Apple sells bad Ipads etc... yea that is true, but they sell tens of millions for every bad unit.
Thats great wilson3. I look forward to a big surge in the PPS tomorrow.
actually Madoff had his offices in the "Lipstick Building" a gorgeous high rise here in mid town manhattan. One of the priciest buildings in NY.
His CPA had a store front office in a strip center on Long Island.
geeez, if anyone here is not an apolgist for these buffoons its me. But the building that a rep firm uses is not a barometer of their effectiveness.
My comment was perhaps unclear. I will opine on their capabilities based on who they represent. I have no idea who they represent. In fact their representing ASFX may be a topline indicator that they arent very good, unless someone pulled strings. I believe that ASFX is a company saddled with lousy deals, horribly managed debt and profoundly incompetent management.
Their products are so so entries that may have potential but without a strong team driving it they will eventually end up on the scrap heap along with our money.
I hope this clears up my position.
Sorry Dog, that really has no absolute impact on the capacity to be effective. Who are his/their other clients? That is the key. A good rep can outweigh many sins.
if you are correct, its the "Nightmare Scenario"
Shareholders rolled by doubling of OS.
Management has already shown their total disregard for the shareholdewrs.
No repeat sales
and no appetitie for the products on a brader nasis.
Only support is coming from what apparently are COmpany managed factlitators...I guess yourself and dog have been right all along.
none of this hype will change the operating results. I fully expect a dismal 10k 2010 4TH qtr numbers that will dissapoint real investors. Anything under $400k in revenues is disastrous. A respectable 4th qtr would be anything in the $800k to $1.0 mill
Anyhthing above $1.3 mill would be a solid performance.
why does he not disclose he is employed by company? He lists himself as a broker????
In his testimony in the lawsuit, Dr T swore under oath that they had 1000 stores that carried the products.
In one of the updates, he stated that sales per distribution point (store)were 5.7 units per month or was it per week? lets make it easy on them and say iot was per month.
the qtr has 3 mos.
they shipped 12000 units that we know of.
the rest is simple math.
These ARE ALL THEIR NUMBERS. INDISPUTABLE AND NOT UP FOR DEBATE.
If someone is trying to weasel out of their numbers they simply cannot.
EDIT: The difference between 3rd and 4th qtrs is irrelevant and meaningless. at stake now is management's credibility. Either they are honest or they are liars.
they put out very selective information without disclosing sales numbers.
They have refused to disclose sales numbers and financial results. In two weeks we know if its because they lied or not.
unless the gross sales are $440k +/- the company has been lying. Math like gravity is absolute. 2 + 2 is always 4.
$440k they are straight shooters, anything else they are lying or the recall was devastating. these are absolute.
Whats your guess on 4th qtr revenue Dog? We know they shipped 12000 units, that's $228,000 in revenue. less offsets and promotions. Assuming that the typical promo spending is found here that would nmean between 12% and 15% off the top or a net of about $195k. Plus any reorders which if you believe the posts ghere and they are selling almost 6 units per store per month would be about 1000 stores times 4 months times 5.7 units or 4000 store months times 5.7
units per month/store. 22,800 units. 22,800 minus the 12000 they first shipped would mean an incremental 10,800 units or an additional $210,600. or a total for the qtr of $440,000 approx gross 4th qtr revenues, if the numbers they have been touting on facebook are true.
If they have been lying then that will be seen immediately when we see the 10k. Its down to crunch time. Either the hype has been true and correct or its all been a sham.
True means $440K +/- $20k means they have been straight with us.
Anything below $400k means they have been blowing smoke and using facebook and pumpers to mislead. There is no longer any room for dodging.
