"He has also been assured he will be able to make a public presentation to the Site Evaluation Committee during the next public hearing"

I LOVE IT

I am planning to attend the June 25th meeting in Berlin. making plans now.
Matt, I know you gave me the links before for a hotel, but I did not save it. Can you pick a great hotel in or around Berlin? Thanks in advance
All I can say is thank you for the 12's :)
Maybe it is news from the day you predicted there was going to be news! or the time before that, or before that. There is a backlog or news pending
How do you know he/she is not invested? They may have a lot of shares already and want to clear up the AIR about some issues that do not make sense. Maybe buy some more at cheaper prices as they try and scare people away.
Or they just do not want the Berlin plant in their back yard and they hope all of us longs loose all of our money.
Laidlaw Energy is a company that has NEVER made any money. We longs who remember Ellicottville thought we were all in the money when we got a grant from NY State. WELL that did not turn out very well. Berlin in not a slam dunk, but with the OIL spill in the Gulf and $4 gas it helps drives home our point that the USA needs to move away from OIL.
Maybe we are talking about two different things
Investool: I have to agree with rich sears on this one, he is just making statements and questions about current and past PRs and not a basher (He is probably Jon Edwards). I am a long in LLEG but there are some issues that need to be cleared up, and only a good PR with all the details will be validating to both sides.
One more bid in at 12 then no more buying till we get news...JMO
after the weeds are pulled we can always pimp him out for the conjugal visits at the prison..... lol
Yes i read it, hope we see our return on capital soon.
No reason to step up to the ask. There is always a fool who does not do their homework and will panic.
I agree with you. . . I have my bids in at 13 and 12.
LMFAO = Laugh My F*&$n A$$ Off
I hate all that text language too. It is making the next generation lazy and not able to type a paper without spellchecker.
Like TAP said LNEWS will be sometime after this post........
L2s are not important with this stock. Pick a price and buy or sell. only Lnews will help . . . (Yes I did put an L in front of news)
I personaly will not buy above .0014 and I will sell at .006
NEWS is comming either today , tomorrow or someday. PPS will be .002, .005 .0075 or anything below $1 in the near term. mark my word I speak the truth.
I love all the speculations, NOW THAT SHOULD BE OFF TOPIC and deleted
Any trades today? I see nothing
Today at work our entire company got a 10% bonus check for the year. Take 10% of our W2! So there are a lot of my co-workers who have stock in LLEG and said they were going to double down today and tomorrow... I know I have been adding and will add more over the next few days.
I think this explains the volume a little.
I bought a new Associated RC10T4.1 brushless today. I am going racing.....:)
Thank you for the 13's . . . .
SORRY, My mistake, not from CEO or LLEG. That was from our Mr MBorowski.

Berlin power plant builder sued by engineer
Thursday, April 8, 2010
The developer of a biomass plant in Berlin is being sued by its former engineering firm, which claims the company backed out of a deal for it to design the plant and did not pay it fully for work already done.
Waldron Engineering and Construction, an 18-year-old Exeter-based engineering firm, filed suit in federal court in Concord Tuesday against Laidlaw Energy Group, charging that it had been working for the firm for 2-1/2 years at a discount with the expectation of being chosen as the firm to design the $100 million project.
Waldron claims that, after entering a written agreement with Laidlaw in July 2007, it had conducted feasibility studies and provided services during the permitting process and was "shocked" to receive a letter in February that the agreement (described as a letter of intent) was "never formed" and that the matter was "closed."
Waldron says that, even at the discounted rate it charged for services, Laidlaw had not paid it in full for the work it had done because the company put off collecting it all until the project's financial closing, said the lawsuit.
Laidlaw "still owes Waldron a significant amount of money,"
according to the suit.
Waldron says it had no indication that there was a problem with its work and is "surprised by Laidlaw’s sudden refusal to honor its express promise that Waldron would be the Project’s exclusive design engineer of record," says the suit, which adds that Waldron later learned that Laidlaw had a "change of heart regarding the way it wanted to procure the Project’s design services. Accordingly, Laidlaw was now fishing for a pretext to repudiate its obligations."
The complaint does not name the amount of money involved, asks for unspecified damages and to be reinstated as the main contractor.
A spokesman declined to comment. Calls to Laidlaw both were not returned by NHBR deadline.
Laidlaw is only one of the companies planning renewable energy plants in the North Country. The company has an edge on the others because it has reached agreements to supply electricity with Public Service of New Hampshire and to supply hot water and steam to Fraser Papers' Gorham mill.
But the company faces limitations -- namely, the existing capacity to transmit electricity through the Coos County loop and the supply of limited suitable wood for fuel.
Laidlaw says that there is plenty of fuel in the North Country and enough capacity for the 66-megawatt plant without an expensive expansion of the loop, but its rivals disagree.
In an update release at the end of January, the company noted that New Hampshire Site Evaluation Committee had accepted its permit application, and had eight months to make a decision on a permit. -- BOB SANDERS/NEW HAMPSHIRE BUSINESS REVIEW
