Manti, Scarecrow, after he met the wizard. eom
Badog, this is going to come across more negative than it should. Take it as such.
Offor this, Offer that. Walter F. Brandhuber is the CEO running ERHC Energy. I fully understand that Offor is the "ultimate" boss the way ERHC is structured, and I know Offor hand-picked Brandhuber for the top job. But I do not put the emphasis on Offor's intent that you seem to. To me it looks like Sir Offor wants to build a major U.S. oilco and early in the process realized that even his solid Nigerian business success wouldn't get him through the U.S. equity markets. So Brandhuber was brought in to run things in a manner that would appeal to ERHC's U.S. facing equity market.
From what I've seen so far Sir Emeka Offor is wise beyond our comprehension and Brandhuber is the perfect man for the job.
I yearn for a little PR blitz like everyone else, but at the end of the day that's just greed... the time is not quite right for ERHC Energy to sing it's own praises.
But it is getting very, very close. Aw sheet, there's that "very, very" again!
Anyway, my only point was that a lot of people think Offor is in there day to day and I don't. Let's give Mr. Brandhuber credit when that credit is due. He wasn't brought on to sign PSC's, not with his background. The icing on the cake is still coming. I can't yet guess how it will play out, but it will play out, and we will be more than pleased. Drum roll...
"Can I get another bowl of that 'very, very' please?"
oilphant disappears and now umbra talks in riddles! LOL!
$8-9 isn't outrageous at all. Even that nasty bad man thinks fair value after the PSC's were signed was between $2-3.
If obo-1 shows a straddle into #2, $8-9 quickly comes within reach. Factor in ERHC's remaining rights in #2, #3, & #4 and we're right back to those numbers where nasty-bad calls me stupid.
I happen to like those stupid numbers!
I don't think there are many here that don't know what they hold. Let Meridian make a fool of himself if he wants.
He and Joe Shea aren't that different.
read post 48169. Do you deny writing it?
Your words, minutes ago...
"I know a bunch of contingency lawyers that would like to take a crack at it."
The sentence prior to that was:
"What about the uninformed shareholders that sell out becuase of the current drop in the sp."
If that isn't suggesting legal action, what is?
First the SEC, and now you want to file lawsuits?
Your lack of morality is not unlike Joe Shea.
Whatever is in the pipeline must be friggen huge to take the risks you're taking!
Mark, this weeks summary...
Joe Shea is pumping the cr@p out of ERHE.
Meridian is bashing this week.
Conclusion:
Something's close.
People break laws for tiny fractions of the amount of money we are talking about here. Meridian is just the start of the ugliness coming our way. It's unfortunate, but greed is a fact of life.
The uglier it gets the more confidence I have in the future of ERHE.
LOL! From showing up here in support of the share price to reporting ERHC to the SEC. Quite a journey, Meridian.
I'd love to know the root of your anger that's causing this temper tantrum!
I noramlly think shareholders should butt out and let the CEO do his job, but in this case I the boss need a kick in the seat. His number one job is to ensure that the market cap reflects the value of the company assets.
To date he has failed miserably at this. Our rights in the JDZ are worth billions, many, many billions. It's past time for the share price to reflect that.
BB, I would suggest an email...
to each of these addy's:
wbrandhuber@erhc.com
walter.brandhuber@erhc.com
walter.f.brandhuber@erhc.com
None of these 3 bounce back, so I assume they are valid. At some point Brandhuber needs to be held accountable to his fudiciary responsibility to shareholders.
Beyond a certain point things get ridiculous. Mr. Brandhuber has pushed ERHE to that point.
BB, Brandhuber would go to jail if what you suggest is true.
orangedad, "ps mark has to work for a living"
Quite possibly not for much longer.
:-0
nwtf, how do you get Trotty out of tryoty?
Is that meant to be some twisted insult? Baryz1/otctrader/huntergatherer used to call me that on RB. But I don't get it.
Are you that same guy?
nwtf, do you actually invest your hard earned money in companies where you don't even know the CEO's name???
Unbelievable.
nwtf, you are what you belittle...
"Everyone was excited because the reports that came out were found to be BOGUS. PL"
You post "bogus" as fact with no more proof than the original poster had to back up their opinion.
Yet you are right and the other guy wrong?
How arrogant.
Why do I get reasonable posts deleted...
and this friggen clown is allowed to go on and on?
Are the moderators/Admin allowing the B.S. so they can load up?
With the amount of $$$ on the line nobody can be trusted, especially those in a position to control what we see.
I don't know the answer. Maybe there just isn't one.
I am NOT having any more babies! I shudder at the thought.
"shove our army and religion down everyones throat"
The United States has a more diverse religious makeup than any other country, bar none, living together peacefully.
Exactly what religion do we "shove down others throats"?
Good god, we accept Scientology as a religion!
Are you saying I-HUB Admin has an agenda re: ERHE???
Wow.
"You are living through a significant part of history people...you just don't know that as yet."
I would love to believe this guy.
Meridian...
"he is supposed to be cpa and the principal accounting officer. this is the first public statement he signs, not a good show case"
This first public statement he has sign was an amendment to correct a 2005 document. I'd say he's paying attention to detail, wouldn't you?
So who wants to compare the 9/30/05 filing to this one to figure out what they amended?
I gotta mow the lawn before it rains!
"The seceretary at ERHE offices in Houston is just not cutting it"
Agreed. Their secretary may be doing a fine job for what they expect of her, but she just can't answer some of the questions floating around. I sent an email to Brandhuber a few days ago. I will start getting concerned if it goes unanswered much longer.
There's just no excuse to ignore shareholder questions. ERHE needs a PR firm desparately.
Manti, I think you are close, very close.

Geez Umbra, are your fingers tired now???
There's more words in that post than all your others combined!
XChip can't be the next Oilphant, XChip was right....
Oilphant, to date, has not been, yet.
Thank you, Stay the Course, now we know what's coming...
Nothing until we drill. So who do you think drills first? Sinopen in #2, Addax in #4, or Andarko in #3?
I'm guessing Addax. I haven't looked at Andarko yet, and Sinopec has the Great Wall of China surronding any information.
I'd like to hear people's "serious" 1, 3, and 5 year expectations for ERHE.
Dune, take that "news" with a grain of salt...
The last verifiable military deployment was the USS Emory S. Land, which deployed there in February. I doubt it had anything to do with obo #1, which wasn't completed until mid March.
There is no evidence to confirm any other Naval vessels being moved. It's an Umbra "wealthy by Easter" post.
Treat it as such (they ARE fun to read though!)
Walldog, Addax FSPO, The Knock Adoon, info link...
Slides 8, 9, & 10 are of interest.

Red, I know you've been around a while, but this kind of post just labels ERHE as a pump and dump scamm...
"The important thing is that we don't have to sell our shares to make the nut. In other words, you must be able to hold on, don't sell to pay the bills, etc. Take a second job, just hang on"
My 11 year old would smell the fear in this post.
The funny thing is, nothing has changed. Roughly 17% with full carry in 3 blocks.
There's no need for fear when sitting and waiting will win.
Fishdog, where did you come up with this?
"We could still keep certain rights to the deeper, very prospective, formations underlying the whole of BL2."
wzebra, give one valid reason why
either Nigeria or Soa Tome & Pincepe would not want the data released? It would raise more interest to the JDZ and they got more blocks to lease, many more.
It's CVX/XOM that's holding back. It's either huge and they're backdoor dealin or a large chunk straddles another block and they're back door dealin.
Either way they're back door dealin.
viz, it's contradictory...
They say a brokerage valued the company at $2.8B and then go on to say preliminary value using $20 oil and 1 bbbl reserves, which implys $20B.
It's an odd article, that's for sure.
Am I reading this correctly?
This is from march, 2001
http://english.people.com.cn/english/200103/13/print20010313_64904.html
"Sinopec Purchase to Bolster Reserves
China Petrochemical Corp (Sinopec), the country's second-largest oil company, looks likely to issue domestic A shares to finance the planned acquisition of China New Star Petroleum, which has been valued by a brokerage at US$2.8 billion, as China Daily reports.
An analyst at European brokerage ING Barings said a preliminary valuation of China New Star was based on a crude oil price of US$20 per barrel, and crude oil and natural gas reserves of about one billion barrels.
China New Star - China's smallest oil and gas producer - has five oil fields in the west, north and northeast of the country, as well as the East China Sea."
I'm reading that they paid $20B for 1 billion barrels plus 5 fields. Can that be right? With $80 oil and the possibility of what ERHE is sitting on I nearly soiled myself.
Umbra and oilphants unrealistic scribes are being factored out of the stock, that's all.
While I agree with what they've both said (well, except for that "where were you in 1948? You're there again." post), their timelines are obviously way off.
Short of CVX addressing the straddle and some deal being announced, I'd say this will flat-line until we hear a rig is headed to one of ERHE's blocks.
Could be July, could be Sept or later.
I think ERHE watchers are going to have a boring summer.
"wealthy by Easter" whoops! Let's stick to wealthy "someday"
