thanks, you're kidding right? anyway, i just needed to report what my source actually said. from there, it has nothing to do with me. enough of this anyway.
like howard and capt say, it is about the oil and being all in. dittos.
good post capt. i appreciate your info as i do howard's and others on this board. i will want eegc to do well.
now i am going to apologize for an error made on my part. i got my info wrong from a source i know. the source did NOT say there will pools of oil sitting on the ground in tas. what the source said was that there was a rock quarry that the source observed and went to where oil was seeping out of the rocks. (and has one of the rocks for evidence)
i will also admit to stupid and foolish mistakes in the past trying to avoid negative posters . no point in going into it here because this forum, for the most part, has reasonable and good people posting on it. and if any of the argumentative and abusive "crowd" shows up again, i hope they are banned again. who wants pointless and useless arguing just for the sake of it.
as howard as so aptly said, the discussion is about empire and we all want success in that area. anyone stating differently all the time is simply wanting to create a negative atmosphere just to pick up cheaper shares.
or they have nothing else to do in their boring life. good luck to all longs.
the main thing is still the main thing: drilling for oil/gas.
then we shall see what happens.
all other arguments are useless and a waste of time.
when oil is found, it will silence the critics.
no more needs to be said.
thanks howard.
i agree, howard. i talked to a very credible individual over a month ago who said that he personally visited tasmania a couple of years ago. he said he actually saw pools of oil in certain places on the ground. does that mean eegc will strike oil at the bellevue? no guarantees, of course. yet, one of the main reasons oil was not searched for on tasmania was the top thick hard crust-volcanic, i believe. when there were other places to drill for oil much more accesible and cost effective than tas, that is the reason it has not happened until now.
let us hope mr. mark comes through now. eegc needs to drill -next week if poss.
time has come, and on this fri. it would be great if another pr came out-"drilling with the hunt rig to commence on monday the 2nd of march, 09!! no more coulds, should or maybes-just drill it!
thanks again, howard. most informative, as usual. there are a lot of people with axes to grind -now there is a well-known oil man who will direct stuff not just malcolm.
i hope they receive the 500,000 immediately and drill next week. or early march.
time to "just do it".
best regards to all on this board --
i agree. i did not sell and won't. take care, howard!
thanks howard for your optimism. thanks also to captschippy(sp) and all others on this board, too many to mention. you kept me hanging in there when an urge to sell came in my mind. but selling at .034 did not make sense.
i hope that the oil in tas is GREATER than saudi arabia and that a real miracle occurs. great for all, and i admire those in belgium and elsewhere who will be helping orphans and the poor if a big oil strike is found.
best of luck to all here and all shareholders!!
thanks for all your input!!
the bag won't be very big to hold mine since i have a few shares but not enough to pay much more than a cable tv bill each month. SO- whatever happens-bring it on-and i maybe don't care for fed. gov't grants for anything-but if they "send one" bldv's way--i'll take it. what can we do if they do or don't-----
i will wait-and think positive-best thing to do!
i agree. perhaps a gov't grant will push this thing up.
one can only hope, and i am an optimist.
one last post for today, the oil prices will surge by summer-so drilling now would be good-maybe negotiate a lower price with hunt for the drilling.
higher prices at the pump are inevitable as summer comes near. bad for us drivers-good for eegc shareholders if they drill and hit oil.
a pr is what we need, so i will wait patiently for that.
best option. thanks howard for all your input.
thanks. that's what i thought it was. appreciate it.
i think you're right. maybe a tweek on an old pic.
nevertheless, we will know if the rig is pulled.
hope not at this juncture, but with eegc who knows?
if so, a lot of time wasted for 0.
that's fine. 1 for 10 is 300 million shares. if 1 for 100 it
is 30 million shares. but 1for 1000 i think not. jmho.
a r/s like that would leave precious little shares. more like a r/s of 1 to 10-my estimate would be 200 million shares. if wrong-i stand corrected -jmho- anyway.
thought you'd get it. he just did not mention the name geico.
lol.
latest pic on gslm web site is probably to reassure the rig is still there. i am thinking they are working on financing of some kind. but then, i am the eternal optimist.
we shall see. if it goes to 1 cent i may buy some. if it should raise in pps to .15 even would make a nice profit.
jatropha is a good way to go if bldv is going to venture into that it would be good. viable for the gulf coast area of the u.s. and it does not need much water to grow-better than corn/ethanol production which does.
even finland is interested in jatropha.
i agree. if they are indeed working on something, a reversal could happen. i hope that is what happens. otherwise, this goes to 1 cent-but if it does-i may buy some at that low level!
thanks, howard.
yes, someone bought 25,000 shares at the opening today at .045, i believe.
let me ask howard or other kind folks on this board: did they issue new shares so as to fund the drilling at the bellevue? or what is going on? would like to know, please.
i hope you are both right. $640,000+ was raised recently. if 1.2 mill is needed that only leaves another 600 thousand, and mr. bendall can raise that one way or the other.
just do it soon, sir-the rig is over the hole!
just curios. how do u know malcolm is on the road, and to where? back to hong kong for money?
i can imagine anything: like drilling to start with.
or maybe black gumbo soup-the kind your car likes. something must be in the wind. i talked to the kansas office and the secretary did not tell anything concrete(nor can she because of insider info)but she did say that "after the open day the other day, you would think a press release would be coming" or something to that effect.
i agree with howard. something's in the wind. or in the ground, hopefully.
I appreciate everyone that posts here. At this point, we are all trying to find information about EEGC; those like Howard and others who have contacts in Tas will post information here on IHub when they receive it, which will be appreciated by all.
For those who do not have such contacts, it can't hurt to email Alan Barnett and his email address is: alan.barnett@gslm.com. This email was given out by Malcom Bendall as regards an RSVP for the 15th. This is my last post for the day.
Peace...
thanks. after re-reading the last pr quickly, the $640,000 raised COULD fund the bellevue well to full depth. let us hope that the negotiations with the hunt rig people will accomplish the starting of drilling soon. as a shareholder, i would not mind hunt receiving shares of eegc stock if it means getting the drilling done.
whatever they need to do, within reasonable scope of things, they should do to get the drilling started. sept. 09 is not that far away, and with a success of oil and/or gas found at the bellevue site, the thunderbolt drilling looks more plausible as the .07 shareholder rights offering would be a pleasure to "engage in" as a shareholder because any commercial quantities of oil/gas will drive the pps up of eegc. (and i agree with one person who said the lease holder gslm or eegc has value there. let us drill and find hydrocarbons, and then we are in a great position.
does anyone know when the license expires to do drilling in tas? i know i could research it but do not have the time at this juncture.
i would think they need to drill now with the thought in mind: someone else will obtain the lease or leases if they do not follow through in a reasonable manner. just a thought, right or wrong.
you might want to drill.
the current history is the most important: drilling NOW. if i could talk to malcolm bendall myself that is what i would tell him. too many shareholders will get hurt badly if it is not done now or before march 1, 2009!
monday morn in tas land about 7am-get the presses ready for a pr and release it on tues. when the markets are open!!
exactamente, my friend!!
eventually, the sec will act on the shareholder rights offer in the respect that it will give the "green" light to the offer. the problem is this: at present, you can buy the shares on the open market at about 5 cents right now, so why in the world would anyone pay 7 cents? if they started drilling, the pps would move up, imo, but with no drilling it definitely won't unless the shareholders want to pay 7 cents to get the drilling done. in that case, i would want the statement in writing that they are going to drill.
yes, i am getting skeptical at this pt. in time---too many delays so far to date, for me.
i agree, howard. please state how you think there is no money problem. i would deeply appreciate a response, because they should have drilled already.
thanks, howard. any ideas to share regarding your confidence? as always, your thoughts are respected and deeply appreciated.
next week looking good for drilling? what say you, howard?
if i am eegc i offer some incentives to shareholders, smart win for the lease rights, or anyone else at this point to get the drilling started. if not, fall comes too soon, the lease is not renewed, and not just trouble anymore, someone else gets the leases or lease. the time for action is now, and high time for a press release announcing drilling. do it this month or risk the pps tanking to 1 cent or less.
DO IT NOW!
good idea, maybe they offered the same type at the barbecue.
they just need to drill, period, do what it takes to get it done, ya!
i hope that you are correct, howard. this is a critical week and month, for that matter. another 2 or 3 month delay spells trouble for this stock.
let us hope and pray they drill soon. good for all.
