and i am sure the cost to move it back to aussie would be huge. and hunt would pay it so it is making them some money to leave it there for now.
if eegc hits oil, and lots of it, someday i will travel there if i am able to. looking on the website of the mercury newspaper, hobart and south tasmania is beautiful and would be a great place to visit along with aussie and n. zealand.
thanks. makes sense to me. also, the local newspaper would be all over it if they moved it.
if eegc is paying 10,000 per day to keep the oil rig at the bellevue site, it will require over 1 million by mid april to keep there based on the fact it was set up mid-dec. 08.
i am still positive on eegc, but it still is troubling the longer the rig just sits there idle costing us money.
needed to vent a little today.
i have not but i will search myself diligently.
my thanks again to howard, captschippy, irtamos, and belg and all other positive posters here. i know i need more patience. in the global financial market, it is a wonder if money is raised at all right now.
i know all will work out for eegc. yes, it is the waiting that is difficult.
replying to myself today. at the last open day, the only way 80 people being there is a significant thing(i am not saying it wasn't ) is only if those people, at least some of them, have the $$ to put in eegc's coffers to get the drilling done. otherwise, a bbq is a bbq.
bottom line: get the drilling started and then we are on our way.
what i can gather is that at the last open day , is this: a lot of belgians, and other investors were there and investors there are kicking in money to get the drilling done, in addition to what mr. callaway is bringing on board to get the bellevue well drilled and then move on to the next one-etc. etc.
i guess mr. callaway was in last week. there was someone with mr. garrison today in the kansas office and it was not a shareholder. that is all the secretary will tell. like howard said, patience.
will do.
you are welcome. just counting on it happening and waiting patiently as i waited for it to turn in the weather where i live. it is 70 degrees today.(now for a pr from empire and the day would be completely wonderful)
great. hope today before the market closes or tomorrow and, at the latest, friday. fridays seem to be popular with malcolm. this week is this week. go pr!!
i talked to a good source whose thinking is that the pr would come in 24 or 48 hours(i talked to the source on monday) and since that source told me mr. callaway was in kansas in the empire office for meetings, and tara, the secretary confirmed that(which i already knew was correct) all i can say is: we have to wait but i feel that something is imminent because i called and talked to tara in the kansas office today and someone was meeting with mr. garrison and i could not talk to him. that someone is probably callaway.
we await the news.
i agree. hit oil, and all else falls into place.
so, you live close to the kansas office. my son used to live in k.c. itself, if he still did, i would, of course, visit him; and go to the office and talk to them if possible. it would be fun.
maybe there will be a big strike at the first well, and someday, a person can go to tasmania and look over all the eegc and gslm operations, and have enough $ to go and visit aussie and new z. at the same time. would be a great trip.
one last post before monday with the 1 minute of time i have. thanks again, howard, for all you do for all of us here. also, thanks to capt. and wilco and many others. keep up the faith, and thanks for all who helped me from selling my shares. i added in the last week and with good news, hopefully, coming soon, it will pay off. everyone, have a great weekend.
sounds good.
also, it may not accomplish anything, but the secretary and john garrison are in the kansas office today, the phone # is:
877-663-2310. just tell them you would like drilling to start asap.
can't hurt to let your feelings to be known.
good luck to all .
welcome back, howard, hope and pray you are doing much better.
too funny, howard. all kidding aside, hope you are doing allright. also hope eegc gets to drilling before march is over. welcome back.
capt, time for the eegc brass to turn the drill.
i agree. just start the drilling before march ends. and ignore all the negative people who are just trying to pull away your shares cheap. don't do it, do not sell at the low level. buy some more if you can.
and each day they get closer to drilling the first well. march is here and i believe it gets done in march. and then, they drill 3 or four more after the first one.
lucky you. yet, i will be very happy to pay capital gains if eegc hits it big. good problem to have.
great, how do you accomplish that?
the time to drill is approaching. hopefully by the 16th of march or the 23rd. either one would be great, sooner the better.
i agree, capt. focus on empire energy, stay positive, ignore all else because what only matters is drilling and hitting oil.
i agree. things will be disclosed.
i agree, too bad./ but time for private enterprise/low taxes/small business protest march to washington, in the meantime, watch blvd jump by summer(nothing but my gut feeling)
correction, he is NOT coming on board to watch paint dry.
mr. callaway's credentials speak for themselves. he is coming on board to watch paint dry. 'nuff said.
new to the board.
remember: keep the subject on empire.
when they strike oil, you will sing a different song.
thanks for the positive posts, howard. hope good things are reported this coming week. take care and have a great weekend.
look at the other post with all the math needed in it about ethiopia or africa, at least, gotta go-no time to check it-do your own dd.
correction in last post, not howard's predictions, but all of our hopes: oil and lots of it!! go eegc!!
let's do some more math. bldv is still a good risk at this level. and it certainly won't hurt me for the few shares i have. better than a lottery ticket.
and i am a long. not a day-trader or naked shorter like some.
thanks, capt! i believe march 09 is the month and you will see .057 disappear and i wish i could buy more shares, but am all tapped out. but if howard's predictions come true about the amount of oil in the ground, i have enough, and thanks to him and you, and others, i hung on to 'em.
i know i am only dreaming-but why not-i hope they find an oil field (over the total area) larger than saudi arabia-if not, at least a major oil field(and gas, too!)
best of luck to all longs!
dittos, howard. eyes will now be on callaway not malcolm, good move, regardless.
pics today, press release, hopefully follows in near future, with drilling as icing on the cake. the oily cake, that is!
note: i spelled board wrong: but, i am a swede, no worries, taking pills for it.
i agree, howard. either be in this for the big deal or get out and especially those who argue and nitpick over things that don't matter like they are the geniuses of the world or something. the one thing that matters is this: drill and find oil. now mr. callaway(sp?) is involved and he is the only one worth paying attention to, not nitpicking nitwits elsewhere.
go eegc!
thanks. appreciate it. have a good one, guru!!
