I did the same thing yesterday.. sold at $2.20 or so and started buying back at $1.93. But I was lucky to be able to watch for the bounce off $1.90.
I will not try that again for a while.
I think our expectations were hyped by the stock's recent run up and by our own chatter.
Here's a quote...how could this be any better?
"So how big is that market? Estimates I've seen range from $20-29 billion annually and are growing. As far as I can tell today, NanoViricides will eventually dominate that industry. Even if other unexpected anti-virus technologies are discovered, the head start that the company has now assures that it will do very, very well for a long time."
How could the article have been more positive without sounding like pure hyperbole?
A couple days of no agora letter and the run up will be a run down, giving another buying opportunity.
haven't heard a thing
everyone falls silent
Just bought some more.
I love days that end with more shares and less $ invested. They are rare but today's little morning panic worked out perfectly!
back from working on swimming pools for the last half hour. Let's get into positive territory!
Guess I'll go buy some more
I appreciate your comment and will not put a trailing stop in. (Scottrade doesn't allow them for Bulletin Board stocks)
Today I was very lucky to get out and back in the way I did. It was nice but it was LUCK, not skill.
Doc, I can't thank you enough for the chart yesterday. Things seem to be settling down for the time being.
Later.
Very interesting morning. Sold a third at 2.20, expecting to stay out a few days, but when it looked like resistance at 1.90, I bought it all back (almost!).
Still would not be surprised by 1.75....but also would not be surprised by 3.00. So with a higher upside I'm staying in. Have to get to work, but would prefer to watch.
I've done the same thing, Ovidius. But I'm not sure this is really the consolidation everyone was expecting
resistance at $1.90??
We are almost at the point where if you haven't sold yet you might as well wait.
I'm still in, but lighter with some profit. I think the Agora release was built-in over the past week, and we need consolidation, hopefully above $1.75 ... but maybe not!
I agree with you 100% and acted accordingly at the open.
I vote NASDAQ as well, but I'm not sure I have a vote!
Another breakout up today?
Doc, I disagree with your conclusion that we will retest 1.90-2.00. The quadrupling of avg. daily volume suggests a pattern change that will take some time to settle out. I see even more potential upside AND downside (maybe $1.50) than the previous pattern suggests.
Previous breakouts showed a spike in volume that did not last.
We could have a wave of profit taking triggered simply by disappointing results from one test, or no real news from Agora. On the other hand if one test results meets the high expectations, this breakout could accelerate.
Those of us who've been in for a while might want trailing stops.
I have a TSPcrew acid washing pools....Tri-Sodium Phosphate
That contains a whole lot of info!
Thanks
I feel more and more like weedhopper every day. Tomorrow looks like a key day in the rally.
Maybe a trailing stop?
tell us something soon...i agree
This should be another very interesting week. Thanks for the info....when you see the day by day gains it really is amazing.

It would be good to get some kind of mention next week to keep the momentum going
Good week for NNVC...bad week for my old truck. The bill for new gearbox, clutch, etc is much less hard to swallow thanks to NNVC. Of course, I'm not going to sell even one share!
I believe you are correct, sir...no Kool-Aide today!
Thank you again! It looks like the numbers cited in your earlier post ARE the NET SHORT POSITION..??
Thanks for the short sales....very interesting. Do they have any info on NET short position....i.e. short sales vs. bought to cover?
Thank you Pete. It's getting very tough to sift the truth from the spin.
You've got me there. Of course, what I hope for and what I consider realistic are 2 very different things.
I read this board every day and some days I conclude that everyone has been drinking a little too much of the Kool-Aid.
Today is certainly one of those days. Don't get me wrong...I'm long on NNVC and staying that way. It is my largest single holding. But some of these scenarios, well, step back for a minute and read them again.
The only thing we know for sure is that the technology has promise. There has not been a single human trial of anything.
Many results are long overdue, and the "quiet period" should be over.
That said, I hope the stock splits five times in five years and still reaches 200.
It certainly does.
Do you know when the analysis is coming out?
After a big gain, I think a flat day is a very good sign. I stopped all in and out on this stock some time back, and have been buying more on the dips.
This is clearly a new pattern of steady gains...the million dollar question is why?
A $2.00 ask! But I have to leave for work. Today might be fun to watch.
Anyone read the OTC Signal report released this morning? It has to be about the breakout described by Dr. FG.
I'm ready for another long hollow candlestick, Doc.
I install them....so it will be ok
weedie-I'm bringing you a heater for your pool! You can afford it now.
I like that scenario, but let's not drink too much Kool-Aid just yet.
