*whine* Is there any possible reason for withholding results this week? Any need to be quiet, or to wait for the 10Q, or maybe there is some need to keep people guessing? Or maybe the results aren't what we'd like?
Thank you very much for both soliciting our questions and for posting the summary. You are doing the stockholders a great service.
*NOT SURE* I eagerly await the news!
What would you have done to raise the $5Million? If this thing ever gets going $5million will be what's needed every month....maybe more than that.
*COMPLIMENT* Good one...lol
still wondering whether to buy today, in the hope that the whining for news will grow to ear-splitting crescendo that cannot be ignored next Tuesday morning.
*COMPLAIN* You guys are doing a lot of whining about the whiners. Second degree whining is even worse!
And I still would like to see some news. How about Tuesday?
*WHINE*
where is the news?
So where are all the results that have been so often promised? Another week with a big zero on the scorecard.
amen
I agree Mr. Dane, I agree
If the original went to 9000 subscribers and this one went to over a million, then it may produce some new interest. But I think the original went to the broad audience as well. It certainly was widely seen here!
here we go ... $1.79 ... little volume as the market tanks.
they are meeting for lunch and we speculate, which I have to admit is kinda fun...BUT MAYBE THEY ARE JUST FRIENDS, and are going to have a friendly business type lunch
got some more today at $1.75. seems like this minor panic is happening almost every day.
actually I stand corrected...it was $1.77
I guess no results today. The "quarterly report" release is interesting, however, as it talks of results soon, uplisting, and the plan to file pre-IND applications (note plural)
quote from the release
The Company expects to announce the results of certain studies, that are already in progress, as soon as possible.
"We believe that our strong shareholder equity and cash position should enable us to meet the listing standards of a National Stock Exchange," said Eugene Seymour, MD, MPH, CEO of the Company.
"We are now planning to speed up our drug development programs, towards filing certain pre-Investigational New Drug applications with the US FDA," said Anil R. Diwan, PhD, President of the Company, "The Company's universal shelf registration should enable us to access the additional financing, as needed, for accelerating our programs."
Thanks for the opportunity to ask...
Given the millions, perhaps billions, of people who could benefit from Nanoviricides, how do we accelerate the R&D process?
With the talk of a generalized cure for viral disease, how do you manage expectations without disappointing investors and markets?
What are the challenges in controling quality of production in large batches? How easily is a production change made (eg from FluCide to HivCide)? Do they require separate facilities?
What is the answer to the inevitable public paranoia about a "self-assembling nanomicelle"....ranging from "this will get loose in the water supply and kill everyone"...to something like "this causes autism in children"?
I may have more....
This board certainly is a lot more fun than the sarcastic/caustic/cantankerous crap on that other unmentionable board.
Looks like my 1.85 bid won't fill...but we at least know the close today won't be below that!
Hey Doc, what forum do the morons use?
The drop before the close is explained then...The MM's bought this morning in the 1.50's, so selling today in the 1.90's makes for a tidy return.
Piecemaker, did you get any in the 1.50's? For some reason I did not.
I'm close to where I want to be with NNVC. But what the heck....for a PR monday I'll buy a few 000 more. I'm just glad I dumped my tech and blue chips a couple weeks ago.
You know, we moved from 2.01 to 1.83 on just a few thousand shares. This is blatant manipulation...but to what end? Help me out here...what's the point?
Are you buying? a buck 83 looks tempting...
Walking down the price, 500 shares at a time. Only took a couple thousand shares to move it down a dime. Ridiculous. May be time to buy some more
I can't decide so I trade some and hold some.
Doc - Your contributions here have really helped me. Thanks. A lot.
Weedhopper-we are nearing $2 again. Where are you?
Teedlum...the buy price certainly matters, but using your example, if you don't buy at $2 because you missed it at $1, you have a $90,000 opportunity cost. I'm hoping the $1 price for NNVC is gone for good! Fuhgetaboutit.
Good day for NNVC.
Pavim-That $1.69 trade may have actually gone through earlier?
Glad I got back in yesterday...although the open today would have been even better!
That said, who cares? Good to hear the board sounding positive again. Now I can wait for the next PR.
That is fun. I'm not sure if it is solid analysis, but I like it.
Let's start the run back up tomorrow, then a PR of results on Monday would be a good start to the week.
I saw that one too....just finished reading the whole thing, WHEW!...and I believe the reference to HIV results by SRI was new. Saw several other items that seemed new, including some data being analyzed on Dengue.
All in all, this is just what the Dr. ordered to smooth out the sp drop and start a wave of results reports.
Where is the 10Q? Doctor F.= what made you think it would be out today?
I've been in NNVC for 3 or 4 years. Started playing the swings much more recently when the pattern became more predictable than a coin flip. Doesn't always work of course, but my cost has been reduced to near zero on the block I don't play with.
I have absolutely no problem with buy and hold
If we get a 10Q tonight and there are no surprises, tomorrow will be up even without any other PR. Then I think Monday could be wild up or down, based on the whether we get more silence, another excuse, or a quality finding.
I'm with Weedie, coming back in a little more today.
jmho
The answer was really more like..,.,"I just can't say." Who knows? HE DOES! and we don't.
I'm out of touch till this afternoon...good luck! and let's see that 10Q.
The response from Doc S. makes perfect sense. Unfortunately for the sp, however, no news is bad news.
Thanks for the letter and the post, Flyasif.
The indication from Doc S. that they must wait for the 10Q makes some sense ... certainly more than some of the other reasons that have been advanced.
BUT, you have to wonder why the 10Q is delayed given that it is already out of date per the CEO???
I will take this delay at face value and put some trust in the indications that things are oversold. We do have the potential "drip" of shares from Seaside, and we'll be dealing withn that for a while.
The net is that it looks attractive at this price, but not at the level of share commitment made previously.
I don't think it has anything to do with the DOW. It's the lack of results that were priced in.
I'm going buy some here, I think. It looks like some buying started in the $1.70's
I agree completely. NNVC will go where the test results take it. The DOW, for now, is heading for bear market territory.

this kind of talk means capitulation...capitulation means bounce back
very tempting...
