NITE is trying to hold it back though...as usual.
You go Glenn! I admire your spunk and candor! As CDB puts it, "had em all out there stiffing and fetching like their heads were on fire and their asses were catching..." will soon happen to the shorties and naysayers!
Thank you for the kind words. As to responding to your question, I believe that I should be asking you that question, instead of you asking me. I suspect that both of us understand about market manipulation, short selling, end of year selling, traders, folks selling their shares because they need the funds to survive, etc. The list goes on and on, and I personally do not believe that you can put your finger on exactly which one caused the loss of market cap. More than likely, a combination of the above was the reason.
I am not invested in JBI for its current market cap. I am invested in this company because I do believe the story, and its imminent potential for growth and prosperity. I wasn't lured into it by another poster. I did my DD and I liked what I found, and have been liking it ever since. That is why I continue to purchase shares of this company as I am financially able.
As I have stated numerous times before, the 'current' success or failure of JBI does not lie therein the stock PPS. I am thankful to add more to my portfolio at less than a buck PPS!
JBI corporate growth during 2010 has been phenomenal! Most startup companies take years to achieve an economical and profitable business line. JBI has grown at an unbelievable breakneck speed from what it was a mere 1.5 years ago! You should review the CC again for where the company currently is and where it will be in a short period of time. I have even provided an annotated review for you (saves the time of having to search for exactly what you are looking for):

Thank you and the others here that cleared up my misconception concerning excess gases from the processor being sold. The "oil and gas" terminology is what must have confused me. In my line of work "oil" refers to any liquid fuel and "gas" refers to any fuel gas. So, IMO if a company claims to be a oil and gas company they would not only be generating/producing oil and gas, but likewise selling it. Nothing to squabble about, within a short period of time we all will understand the concept better.
They will be selling the excess gas. That is why in the CC it was stated that they have transitioned into an "Oil and Gas Company".

I suspect that Al Sousa is no dummy when it comes to business, and just the fact that he is "on board" speaks volumes for JBI, Inc.'s imminent potential. As it would appear that the Florida JV's are currently put 'on hold', I honestly believe that A.S. may be going for the medical waste, as the profits from that arena will surely rival the industrial waste streams. The possibilities with the P2O initiative is mind-boggling to say the very least! To be able to add shares under a buck is truly a gift from the market manipulators! :)
And of course if they are successful, then they will never have to cover the short position. I would think that many of them are on the verge of doing something very illegal to try and bring JBI down as well. Hope that the company has beefed up their security!
It is no wonder then that so many groups and/or organizations are trying their best to cause JBI to fail!
As long as the internet "off" button will not be depressed, then JBI will have the output as well as the operating parameters of all their machines at their fingertips.
You should have listened more closely to the CC, as it was full of significant information for investors, and the world...

I have known everything that I need to know about the potential success of JBI for a very long time. Thanks for the reply! Merry Christmas too!
After a thorough review of the JBI, Inc. Conference Call (CC) material I have come to the conclusion that this one presented the greatest information of the current and future well being of the company to date! The paraphrased statements that follow is what leads me to believe in the imminent success of JBI, Inc. I have grouped them according to the relevance of each to one another, and listed the corresponding time frame of the CC in which the statements occurred.
The complete CC recording is available from the following link:

* Blending Facility can blend fuel to customer specifications – 31:47
P2O Launch:
* Three roll-out scenarios – 32:31
(1) Locate, own & operate machines on large plastic source customer's (carpet manufacturers, mills, automotive and other waste streams that normally go to landfills) property.
(2) Locate, own & operate machines at Plastic MRF's of commercial waste management companies where permitting is readily available.
(3) JV structures where JBI would own/operate machines on the partner's property. The partner would provide financing and secure plastics feedstock.
* Typical deal for a large plastic source customer is very lucrative – 33:30

* Onsite storage of excess processor generated gases allow for the 'cold start' of the processor. City natural gas is available for backup purposes – 16:02
* Electricity consumption is approximately 67 kW/hr, or $5/hr currently for Niagra Falls, NY – 17:11
* P2O processor emissions are cleaner than those found on common natural gas furnaces – 20:29
* Fuel tested by InterTek and Petrolabs – 24:57
* Near-diesel product eliminated with the addition of multiple condensers which seperate out the diesel, gasoline and butane fractions – 37:45
* Processor can be tuned to provide specified fuel requirements of the end-user – 38:08
* Modified plastics feeder eliminates the need for shredding and/or granulating – 38:40
Thank you IW for your thoughtful and realistic point of view! There are far more JBII shareholders that support you viewpoint than non-shareholders that unrelentingly oppose what this company is attempting to do for the betterment of this earth!
You got that right! JBII longs are a force to be reckoned with, and the others will see that soon enough!
Merry Christmas all JBI'ers!
Truck got loaded! Thanks for the cheapies!
WOW! Didn't expect to be able to buy this low again! The truck is backed up waiting for the full load to be filled!
I suspect that 2 employees could handle 3 processors, but it would be better to have 3. In either case you would still require an 'on call' person in the event of illness or other unforeseen event.
It is affectionately called learning to walk before you run!
Likewise, I found the CC very informative! The company certainly appears to be on the right track for high potential growth! Way to go JBI!
Better sell your shares first thing tomorrow morning then!
The day is still young - once buying pressure subsides, it will be stepped back down.
They keep running this puppy down and I will have to snag some more as well!
Just picked up 3820.
Like I said...manipulation...
Still showing - with another one...
Could have been a [edit] manipulated cover...
Your question was concerning why would the company wish to have a CC, then only have one day after to trade before a long weekend - right?
My paraphrased reply was that the PPS has nothing to do with JBI current success, so it would not matter if there was one day, or no days after the CC left to trade this week.
The current JBII stock PPS is not what is vital to the success of this company. That is why I believe that the current manipulation and shorting will only backfire on those that are participating in such.
We all know what happened to the boy that cried "wolf"...
...that's right - he first got ignored, then he got eaten!
Looking forward to what the JBI company has to inform the shareholders about today!
Without buying pressure, they walk this down every trading day.
Doesn't seem to take much buying pressure to drive the ASK up!
Did you ever post the conversation? Maybe I missed it...
Very informative listen! Thanks for the link!
If your calculations are close to the actual revenue derived from one processor, then each multiple of 100 processors that go online equates to approximately 230mil annually. Why in the world would a company that has their sights set on 2500 sites even consider a possible buyout? Perhaps if the buyout price was in the multiples of 100bil, it would be conceivable.
The emphasis of my post was concerning the vast amount of unmoderated boards and one possible solution to minimizing that number. The advanced search comment was just an idea of the way you could still search the boards if they were archived.
Why can't the ones that have not had any posts in months be archived? On the advanced search provide a tick-box to include the archived folder(s) if required.
I suspect that one is in the works as we type...
