We may be bouncing off of $1.6???
It will be difficult to pick the point to step back in. Therefore it might be time to simply stand aside and watch the free fall. It will be interesting to see if we take out the $1.50 or so established as a bottom in early June.
Daily RSI is still at 40 but dropping. Weekly Rsi is at 50. The stock is not yet oversold
a buck 68....there's going to be a point at which we buy. Where is that point?
Dow under 9000? NNVC back to a buck?
Look at what happened to ARWR recently.
I'm just happy I'm at my minimums while all this is going on.
Watching this market tank is getting boring. Too chicken to short anything, sentiment too negative to buy anything.
wow...
From the Times article...
"Dengue is a difficult candidate to design a vaccine for...A person who is vaccinated needs to be able to ward off all the virus types.
If the vaccine acts against only one virus, an infection by a different variety can result in the more severe dengue hemorrhagic fever or shock syndrome."
Of course, it is better to have both a vaccine and a cure. But we are a long way from either one.
I'm out of trading shares, holding only the long-term. I'll be looking to buy, but probably not for a while.
Welcome back Ovidius. It's always fun when you are commenting.
Be ready to buy on the bounce off these lows...
This market will likely produce some phenomenal buying opportunities. Keep some cash handy and watch for the bottom.
Thanks Dr. F. The note enhances longer-term prospects for NNVC by clarifying the mgmt timeline, but may create a short-term buying opportunity as the more impatient investors go somewhere else.
Nevermind....But what do I know!
LOL This board is in my favorites (by the old-fashioned copy and paste method) but I prefer to think that I'm not any kind of a "mark", not even a "boardmark".
Thanks you for an excellent summary of why I am here.
thanks for the update, Echo20
how can we know this?
I agree
Interesting day for trading, some ups some downs. Good day to reduce avg. cost. This stock can be pretty predictable when there is no news.
BTW, the market is getting pretty far down again....doesn't look too good. All of a sudden the Dow is 400 pts. below it's 50dma again
yawn
thanks
I have done the same thing with several small trades at ask, looking for a closing price up over the weekend. I had some help that day and it was kinda fun. In the longer run, though, it made ZERO difference.
Short-term, in order to unload some short positions, or whatever, the MM's can march the price down (or up). Longer-term, it's the news, expectations, and the products that will value the company
So is this stock going anywhere anytime soon? It was recommended to me and I bought a small amount. Is this a good place to buy more?
The stock is Lightbridge (LTBR). Take a look.
2.16 with b/a at 2.18/2.21 at close
At 2.16 I may be buying tomorrow....
I like it.
There is a LOT of stuff I like about that release and the follow-up by Mr. Cox.
"WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR (fill in here with uplisting, IND, mystery pharma, web site, etc, etc,)?"
Ok, we are all a little impatient, but some stuff is happening quickly. No one can complain about the time it took to go in vitro and in vivo on Dengue.
And $.41 to $2.xx in less than a year.... Maybe we should just accept the ups and downs and play them a little.
There may be some profit taking here, which will lead to a new buying opportunity, maybe by the end of the week.
On another topic...what is your opinion of the quality of the result on dengue? If the mice would be expected to survive 3 days and instead survived 6, that would be a significant positive result. In this test 50% of the mice RECOVERED from a 100% lethal situation.
Does this "change the game"?
"Strayed beyond that" and "...don't want to force them to do that, YET" (my emphasis). These are 2 very interesting comments, I agree!
I agree with you 100%, but you've got admire Mr. Cox. He is right out there with NNVC!
THe chart from today is a beautiful thing. RSI creeping up, but back across the 50DMA. Strong buy volume.
Either Mr. Cox is much more influential than I thought, or more will be revealed soon, or both.
I like it. I was tempted to take profit Friday and I'm glad I did not.
WOW...this is pretty much how I reacted to the release. SO we get the pop today instead?
reversal coming
I'm not complaining, but what the heck is going on now?
You've noticed that, too, Arch433. When the long-term bulls get testy, and a few start selling, capitulation is taking place and a move higher is imminent.
I've always had doubts about a "mystery pharma" and the 18-month wait. Just a rumor and a discussion topic.
I'm with you arch433 on the general market condition over the intermediate term. Where to put the idle cash?
I guess significant news does NOT trump the doji....but I'm holding nonetheless. I'll just buy the dips.
I'm with you Dr. F. This is a real and significant result that should make some new "believers" among the medical research community.
Markets will follow. Buy the dips.
