Level II anyone?
NorthLion now at 3,843,000.....picked up some more today at .035 - tried for a few days at lower prices but could not get filled even though other sales were going through lower than my bid...strange, but at least I got some more today. It seems like we should be starting to move up again soon.
Lion
I was traveling today so could not follow the action...price dropped off today...some folks flipping, not looking at the long view, but volume was pretty low. It seems that most here are holding and waiting for the better times ahead.
Lion is still hungry and will be looking to buy some again tomorrow, especially at these prices....we'll see what the day looks like tomorrow.
There is no doubt that there will be some share price upas and downs for awhile...the guys that have to cover their shares will try to hold off on doing so as long as possible...and so far the company has mostly just plans...very little actual history. That's why it is a bargain...once the plans have taken place, albums are out and selling and they are making money, you won't be able to buy in at these levels.
Lion
yes, Gene did say "a few years ago" but not sure how exact he meant to be. Kellie was technically last year, but that is already 2 seasons ago since we just finished another season. So its seems further back than it actually is. Kellie was 19 then....so the "19-year" tag is also out of sync with what her age is today, but someone may think of her as the "nineteen year-old" since that is what she was then. So, ya, lots of reasons why it probably isn't Kellie, but, hey, she is great and I vote for her anyways! LOL
Lion
My guess is Kellie Pickler - she has lots of stage presence and captured the heart of the public during the Idol season.
Lion
Chevy and Cat,
I picked up a few more today - add 375,000 to my tally to make it 3,306,000 in total. Maybe I'm crazy, but I believe this stock is one of the best opportunities I have seen in a long time. My nephew also picked up some awhile ago - thanks for adding him on the list (Lionnef).
Volume is down today - not surprising, being a Friday, and as more and more smart investors are buying and holding for the coming rewards down the road. Look at our list -- this is an awesome board.
Wishing all a great weekend.
NorthLion
I'm sitting ready with a buy at .04....and I am not getting filled....may have to move higher again...I doubt we see any .03's today.
Lion
Thanks for clarifying that Chevy...
so the replacement of the shares will take some time, but if shareholders here think it through, they should realize that the upward pressure is very real and with upcoming new developments by the company, the prospects for growth here are better than most other stocks - why would anyone want to sell at .05 or less when it is very likely that this stock will be worth .15 or .20 or more in a short time??
Lion
I put in a good size order to buy at .045. I hope I don't get filled in some ways...that means no one wants to dump cheapies -- but, if someone gets desperate, I will take them at .045. Go ahead and place bids at .046 and .047....let's grab these shares while we can. Whatever we get, they don't get.
Lion
Thanks!
I think anything below .045 is cheap now....
can someone give me the bid-ask right now (I can't see it till 20 mins after the fact)
I have put 682,000 up for sale at .12 (that's bait - will pull it if we get close to that).
I have also put 124,000 up at .14 and 400,000 up at .21. Those I will probably leave up for sale.
Meanwhile I will be looking for some more cheapies today.
Lion on the hunt
Well said, Chevy....
..each one needs to make up their own mind on their own transactions...and they certainly will....I am hoping the dialogue here will stimulate some of the larger stake holders on this board to realize the effect their decisions can have on the welfare of the whole, which will in turn become a benefit to themselves! Musings on my part.... food for thought for everyone else.
Best wishes to all LONGS!
Lion
P.S. You are doing a good job, Chevy...thank you again from me (along with others) - you are helping to keep this board a great place - maybe the best board on IHub (and that is hard when it is also the most popular board - at least today!) Cheers to Imcat and other associates as well!
I already did the free 2 weeks Argyll...back to normal FREE without special privileges. : )
Lion
ARG,
Popularity of a stock comes and goes...we are it this week - the shine will come off in a week or so...and the stellar rate of price growth will level off...we need more LONGS who will hold their shares long term - I think we are seeing that element grwoing on this board - the list of shareholders on the main page is awesome and inspiring.
Lion
PTEL....fully agree with you....I don't want to sell a share either, but I am working with borrowed funds and eventually the loans must be paid...so I will have to sell a piece sometime. I am not saying it will be at .11 and I am not saying how much I will sell -- will have to wait and see, and I can wait for 4 to 6 months if I wish. If the market is good, I may just do that too. And, I am happy if this idea is revised - just trying to stimulate some thinking and most of all trying to get this point across...
PEOPLE OF THE BOARD - IF YOU DON'T SELL, THE PRICE WILL SPIRAL UPWARDS! SO PLEASE DON'T SELL!
JMHO
Lion
How can we encourage this idea.....?
How about something like this:
DON'T SELL FOR AT LEAST TWO WEEKS!
If you must sell, don't sell below .11 cents. You would be better to wait a longer because you are more likely to get near .20 for your shares, but if you can't hang on....hold out for at least ELEVEN CENTS. If everyone does this, the price will soon be ELEVEN CENTS, because there would be virtually nothing available to buy below that!
Imagine where this puppy will be if none of use sells before JULY 13th??
This could be stated better......
JMHO
Lion
I am not suggesting that everyone sell at .11 - I am only suggesting that it would be great if none of us bail below ELEVEN CENTS. I might even suggest higher than .11 - if we all put sell orders in at .15 or .20 or .30, what an effect that would be! However, realistically, I know that some of us will want to take some money back sooner rather than risk too much...that is why I am suggesting ELEVEN as a moderate point that people could maybe identify with and hold to. If those of us holding maybe as much as 15M shares would do that and not sell - maybe buy more instead - can you imagine what that would do? Just a thought.
Of course there will be some selling below .11 - there are investors who don't follow this board and there will be transactions between MM's....but I wonder if we could collectively make enough of a statement to make a difference??
JMHO.
Lion
To the Board,
The opportunity here in NSHV is outstanding, but if all of us who are buying in as real investors (as opposed to shorters and manipulators) were to become of one mind, this play could turn out to be incredible. Note these facts [and please correct me if these "facts" are not correct]:
Of all of the outstanding shares, 200M are owned by management and insiders, leaving only 50M shares outside of that group. Of that 50M, 5.272M are restricted, and 18.3M are held by Munro Holdings - that leaves only 26.428M free-trading! Of that, the "friendly investors" of this I-Hub board have already shown themselves to own over 12M (and there are probably more who follow this board that haven't declared their holdings - I would estimate that there are 15M held by I-Hub board friendlies. That would leave only about 11M unaccounted for shares! How on earth will those MM's find enough shares to replace to the Company? They will try to pray them from us!! But, if all of us on this board would determine to hold our shares, the price would have to escalate wildly in the next week or so.
That will be hard to accomplish, as I am sure we will see attempts by MM's to drive the price lower tomorrow by trading amongst themselves in the .03 - .04 range. If we can recognize that activity for what it is, and know we should not sell, that game would be done soon. In fact, if we use the opportunity to buy some more cheapies, it will end even sooner. Meanwhile, it is true that we should eventually sell some of what we have and take our initial investment back off the table. Can we all wait a week to do that and say we won't sell any below (for example) .11?? ELEVEN CENTS!!! Can we hold out for at least ELEVEN CENTS????
OK, it is just a thought....just a reflection on my part - tell me if I am crazy or not....tell me if this is possible to do.
Maybe we need an axe tomorrow. I was a good axe on Wednesday when I sat around .045 (UBSS) for a good part of the morning. I could maybe take an axe position again tomorrow at .05. I would need to know that I am not alone if I do that. Any one thinking like me?
JMHO.
NorthLion
Chevy,
I couldn't resist picking up some more today...so change the tally for NorthLion to 2,931,000.....
My daughter also picked up some today....you can add her as LionCub for 185,000 shares....
With the momentum driving this stock up steeply, and a very limited number of shares available, how will the shorters ever cover the 23 million shares they need to return to the company? At quickly rising prices, they are going to take a big hit! Some thoughts on it:
- can they just walk away and say it is impossible to do? What would happen if they tried?
- the goal of shorters is to make money on stock spreads and swings; with the momentum here going sharply up, will the previous shorters try to make up their losses by becoming buyers and "upward manipulators" once they have covered their shorts?
Any thoughts out there?
Lion
Shamantiks...talk to your banker - see if you can borrow against the assets that are on hold....they have equity to back the loan, the interest is a write-off and that gives you $$ to trade with...just a thought.
Lion
Hi Chevy,
The stock tally on our board is probably quite out of date by now, but in case you are updating it, you can make NorthLion's total 2,491,000. I picked up 600,000 today....should have done this two days ago when they were less $$, but I was a little uncertain as to how this would play out. However, at this point, I figure that what I got is another 600,000 that the MM's can't get. If all of us buy up what whatever we can, there won't be much for them and this price will multiply. Best wishes to all longs.
Lion
I have raised my bid one more time....that's it...I get what I get....I now have close to 2.5M so that will have to do. Thanks.
Lion
Cat, could you give me an update on bid and ask please. Thanks.
Lion
Thanks Cat....will raise the bid again...
By the way, UBSS processes orders for all kinds of Canadian brokers...so my brokerage house is using them, but so will other houses that the MM's have been working through.... so seeing UBSS there doesn't necessarily tell you who you have. As you know I have only bought -- am adding more today. Eventually I will start selling some, but not for now!
Lion
UBSS is probably me - I have been chasing it up all morning..trying to hit the ask, but by the time I place my bid (and I am getting delayed info on Microcap Feed) the ask is moved higher again...so I am shooting blind mostly. So far have added to my position at .027 and at .031. I am not sure how much more I will be able to get at prices I am willing to pay.
Lion
Who are you guys using to get the instant Level II? I am using the free Microcap Feed, but it seems delayed and in this fast-moving envirnoment is not too great. Thanks.

Hey Cat,
Thanks for the posts on volume, etc. It is very likely that there was some flipping (buying and selling multiple times as the share price went up and down) by the same traders over the past few weeks - especially when you see how much % change there was, so that a smart trader could have bought and sold at just the right points and made great gains. So that kind of flipping could account for a large part of the volume as the same shares were bought and sold repeatedly.
I live in Canada, as you may know by now, but I have not done any flipping or day-trading of my shares; it has been all accumulating for me to this point. I had said earlier that I have close to 2 million shares - since someone is doing an actual tally, I will be more exact - it is 1,891,000 as of today.
When I view Level II, my orders have usually not shown up. Last week I thought I did see my order as the price shown matched my order - and yes, it was UBSS. Also, the order size usually shows "100" or "1" which doesn't tell me anything about the actual size of the order. So the Level II helps me to get an idea of what the ballpark is, but leaves a lot of guesswork. Usually if I place an order, I have to sit and wait to see what happens -- often lots of other orders fill at the same price as my bid, and I am not filled. But I always use the "limit price" feature and I think I have read that it would mean my order would have a lesser ranking or probability of being filled.
Lion
The share structure picture is very interesting. As you have pointed out, people associated with the company (I would call them "insiders" whether they are all technically so or not) control 200M shares out of the 250M OS - that is a solid 80%!! The Company would like to purchase another 18.3M more, which would give the insider group 218.3M out of 250M - fully 87% of the shares. Since the "insiders" obviously have a desire to acquire more shares, I am thinking that they could also be taking advantage of the "fire sale pricing" these days and could be increasing their insider position significantly at these low costs, in addition to the deal pending with Munro....by the time this is done, the % of shares held by "outsiders" will likely be less than 10%...could perhaps even be as low as 5%. I wonder what the target % ownership is for the insider group.
As I think about that, I wonder how that impacts the value of my holdings in the future. The company has plans to make money - if the rewards go to the shareholders (especially since they own most of the shares) -- sounds like there is a good chance of getting in on the rewards. [The other way insiders can reward themselves is through management fees and bonuses, bypassing the shareholders, but in this case I think they would choose to do dividends since they still will get almost all of it for themselves, and dividends have more favorable tax treatment (correct me if this is not so in the USA - in Canada it is that way)].
I also wonder how liquid the market would be for NSHV shares when the insider group (a limited number of people) may end up controlling 90-95% of the shares. I expect the share price could go quite high if the company does well and there are so few shares available on an open-trading basis. Perhaps I am wrong and that the small number of shareholders would stifle market interest....any thoughts on this?
I am sitting here thinking that this sounds almost too good to be true...opportunity to own a significant part of a company with great prospects (e.g. my 2 million shares could represent approx 15 - 20% of the "non-insider share count" based on assumptions above). Right now it looks like there should be a very limited number of shares available, but they are at dirt cheap prices! Maybe I should grab some more on Monday.
Any further thoughts on these "weekend reflections"?
Lion
Chevy,
Thanks again for the great job you, Imcat and associates are doing here. Much appreciated.
You said: NSHV's lawyers are in possession of both the 10M and the 5.3M, while Munro still controls the 3M street-name shares, until the deal closes. David was not able to provide any details on how long it would take to close the arrangements.
The difference is what remains in the current float, or just under 32M shares (plus Munro's street-name shares).
If I am understanding this correctly, that means only approx. 35M free-floating shares. Am I correct?? I currently have close to 2M myself, and I am sure some of our regular posters on the board also have a significant number. If you did a tally and added it up, there cannot be much left unaccounted for. This dumping has got to be pretty much over....I am thinking we must be dealing with naked shorting.
Lion
To the question, "How low could this go?" these are my thoughts:
In theory it could go very low, but in the end the shares have to be covered - the shorters are just hoping they will discourage "regular" investors so that they can buy their shares at low prices when they bail. However, things could go quiet once there are no more sellers and then I expect that there will be new interest by legitimate buyers as the Company makes progress and as it looks like there will be positive cash flow, earnings and possibly even dividends. Also, if they move out of the pinks, there will be additional interest. This stock is not too widely held....as the shareholders that stick with it stand firm, the price will start to rise. I think based on what the Company has planned, things will be okay...it will just take awhile to get through "the valley" - an artificially created one. So in my mind, I think I may have to sit on it for about 4-6 months. If it gives me a double, triple or better after waiting it out, I can live with that. Holding LONG!
Lion
Sorry, Argyll, I do not know all the rules on how these things all work either...perhaps someone else can enlighten us all. But I had stumbled across that key one day, so that part I knew! I'm still on the learning curve, especially in "Pinky-land"
