Hey johnlw,
You can never over stay your welcome, this board was created with the intent to attract posters like yourself! Happy to have you here! Interesting chart there.
Your work is always appreciated here johnlw.
Hello johnlw,
Thanks for showing us about RIX.V and thanks for the DD. Much appreciated.
Right now its trading in a upward channel since it began trading with no lower trendline violations. Interesting close on Friday, really wants to test 1.47. The way I trade is to buy high and hopefully sell higher! IMO it looks like its setting up to do so. I buy when resistance is passed and current resistance is 1.40 - 1.47 area. And its been fighting hard the last two sessions to close above 1.40. Close near the high of the day which I like seeing.
I see you have been following this for awhile. By the way you have two great info boards so I've added them to the header here! Keep up the great work johnlw.
Slow and steady wins the race!
Hello johnlw,
Happy to contribute, if I find any other dual listed stocks I'll be more then happy to share!
Unfortuantely I didn't put anything into GMX.TO, I should've realized the signifance of the 1.25 break on the weekly 3yr chart!
Do you know where I could find a list of Canadian stocks listed in Frankfurt. GMX.TO is a TSX stock. Do you know of any other TSX stocks listed in Frankfurt, the ones I know are mostly on the venture.

Hello Wizetradr,
Happy to see you have a new board, but its for only paying memebers. I was wondering if that was done by mistake? You can ask handle: IH Admin [Matt] to put it into the free zone.
I'll think both of us will have trouble posting !
Hello Nitetrak,
Nice calls so far nitetrak! Looking forward to see your future scans.
WDPT - interesting that it closed at the high of the day. I'm thinking the run still has more perhaps.
Nice call stockprof! Do you deal with NEX stocks alot?
lol PerfectSage
Definately. You gotta like when shorts begin to cover they always lend out a helping hand during those key resistance breaks and volume which ignites daytrader attention. This time they're covering with an upward trend.
As you know Lowtrade has some interesting posts on that.
Most likely Strat hype or improvements in their core business, I'm thinking Strat hype, they are getting closer to actual test date. We know it can fly, lol! But does it work!
Here's a Discovery Channel show about the Strat from April 05 that was just recently aired again a month back.

Canadian stocks soar
By TAVIA GRANT

Globe and Mail Update
Relief washed over the Canadian stock market yesterday, sending the benchmark stock index to its highest level in more than five years, with fund managers saying the rally has further to run.
Companies that pay fat dividends, such as banks and telecoms, powered the advance after the federal government unexpectedly said it will cut taxes on dividends to level the playing field with income trusts.
Income trusts, which had shed about $20-billion in market cap since Sept. 19, soared too, with companies such as Clearwater Seafoods Income Fund gaining on euphoria they won't face a new tax regime.
The S&P/TSX composite index rose 162.02 points or 1.5 per cent to 11,081.82, its highest close since September, 2000. Royal Bank of Canada contributed 20 points to the index's gains, while BCE Inc. added 17 points.
These are sustainable gains,” said David Cockfield, who helps manage $1.1-billion at Leon Frazer Associates Inc. in Toronto, especially since U.S. investors will return to the market today after Thanksgiving dinner.
Other reasons? Not only will big cash payouts lure shareholders — CI Fund Management Inc. already said it's boosting its dividend — but many investors, both in Canada and abroad, remain bullish about commodity prices.
Mr. Cockfield, meantime, added oil and gas and utilities income trusts yesterday to his 20-per-cent trust position in his portfolio.
Others are rushing back into the beaten-down sector as well, including David Rea, chairman of Davis-Rea Ltd. Investment Counsel, who said his firm had been sitting on the trust sidelines for the past several months.
“This is an example of a no-loser situation,” said Mr. Rea, who manages more than $400-million for wealthy clients. “It relieves that uncertainty and puts some of that $23-billion back into the market.”
The day's biggest gainers could be divided into three groups: income trusts, income-trust candidates and high dividend-paying companies.
Among dividend payers, banks accounted for most of the index's rise, led by RBC and Toronto-Dominion Bank.
Telecommunications stocks, meantime, greeted the news with a rare event for the industry — a major rally. But several analysts sounded a note of caution.
In 2003, telecom stocks soared in the United States as dividends were cut. However, many are now trading below those levels, and observers say operating risks, such as cable competition, are weighing on those stocks. The rally “was short-lived due to deteriorating fundamentals,” CIBC World Markets analyst Dvai Ghose wrote yesterday in a report. “We see the same challenges for mainly wireline Canadian telcos like BCE and Manitoba Telecom Services Inc.”
BCE shares, which rose 4.8 per cent Wednesday, extended gains, rising 6.4 per cent, its biggest one-day gain in more than 3½ years.
Those companies that have mulled a trust conversion also surged. TSX Group Inc. was the day's biggest gainer on a percentage basis, rising 11.2 per cent. Air Canada owner ACE Aviation Holdings Inc., which had planned to spin its Jazz airline into a trust, also jumped.
The capped income-trust sub-index advanced 4.6 per cent. Income trusts will be added to the S&P/TSX composite index on Dec. 16, giving the index a further boost, investors said.
Still, not everyone was cracking open the champagne.
“This, it seems to me, is just a last-minute election grab and will for sure have to be revisited in six months,” said Al Rosen, head of Accountability Research Corp., an affiliate of Rosen and Associates forensic accountants, who said earlier this week that the tax advantage of income trusts has been overstated.
“If anything, what happened [yesterday] is a great selling opportunity.”

BWNG VS. NASDAQ
When breakouts occur with relative strength greater then that of the overall exchange, it is often considered to be bullish and safer. We'll see soon enough!

Much appreciated Ken. March is actually also the last time I saw any return on this hold. The chart for March also produced a double top. Interesting stuff and service you provide! Lately the volume level as been quite dismal. The company is going through some legal troubles with a disgruntled former CEO who holds 1/7 of the outstanding shares. Thanks for the added prespective! When I join your site I'll be very keen to find seasonals that are breaking out technically.
What does CPI, GEO%, TG, PR stand for?
Ken
When you have time will you be able to provide me a seasonality chart for TMG.V, Thermal Energy International. If not that's perfectly fine. It's been a long term hold for me! Kinda like my own pphm !
Thanks
