out of curiousity, what type of workplace, if I may ask?
medical, retail, construction, professional?...
So.... what's next? eom
First I heard of IMGG was this early a.m. when on a hunch I looked at new 52-wk highs at StockCharts.com.
Something about IMGG looked right, so grabbed a handful. Had to chase it a bit, a no-no, but the risk and variability is manageable.
Pennsylvania, eh? Family once had a summer cottage in the Poconos, by a small lake near Dingmans Ferry.
Not to rain on any picnics, but I haven't heard Abbott acknowledge anything. I don't mind hearing Dr. Moro speak up now and then, but what about GE?
A dispiriting marker for any stock is a litany of announcements from management about this or that agreement/contract/relationship/whatever with a household-name giant, but never a peep from the giant itself (aside from a terse communicai or two).
Dr. Moro is obviously excited. Is GE?
Come on, give us a Fee-Fi-Fo-Fum!
The Theodore plant, aerial view. The plant is in upper center and slightly to the right. Two adjacent 100-foot deep steel-frame warehouses with a small office section. The building to the right is an unrelated business.
Drove by it today, didn't see a whole lot going on. Then again, appearances can be deceiving. Looked kind of run-of-the-mill though and smaller than I expected. The left warehouse is apparently used as a loading and maybe a holding zone; I'm guessing the right-hand warehouse is manufacturing.
You might have to type part or all of this into your address bar:

TFZP... will it continue its advance? EOM
Hmmm. The Theodore operation isn't but 2 miles from the nearest point on my drive to my office, and some of my maintenance on the AT&T fiber cable occasionally happens less than a mile away.
An odd thing: I was born in Red Bank, NJ, raised in nextdoor Middletown...
Just spotted this stock today. Haven't bought in; a tad leery of pink sheets. My other holdings: HDY, BRST, BOCX.
HDY tight consolidation.
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=hdy&p=D&b=5&g=0&id=0
Waiting for Guinean National Assembly ratification of the PSC (not required for legitimacy or drilling), announcement of a joint partnership with a major or majors, or both.
BRST looking coy.
Pursuing a patent case against Apple, and the case is damn near ironclad. Involves Apple's long-standing infringement on patents for data compression during transmission.
Got into this at 1.85 on B-day (boosh-day). COULD have got 1.64, but Microsoft was secretly hacking into my computer that morning (i.e., started an automatic Windows update without showing the little notification icon in my desktop tray). Bastards gummed up my Dell for an hour and a half.
Never hated Microsoft more than when I finally figured out what the hell going on.
HDY... hehhehheh.... let's hear it for the longs...
not a true boosh, but it's a beaut...
OT: HDY
Started getting into this back in early '04. Things are looking better and better vis-a-vis full support from Conakry and moving toward actual exploration and/or partnering. The French are falling down on their faces.
This could force me into early retirement, heh heh...
it's being acquired for a 1.30.
EXAS... fundamentals are hokey, but the chart is winding up pretty good.
Heh heh, mucho gracias... * slurp *
VWPT... I came, I saw, I bought some.
Used the old-fashoined Yahoo screener yesterday, checked charts of the buck-and-under. Noticed VWPT leap-frogging itself up the chart. Liked its story. Grabbed a solid handful this a.m. at just under 1.06
For me, more an O'Neillian than Boosherian decision. No real pattern to speak of, but when a stock gaps up on high volume and closes at or near the top of its price range, that's a good sign. Talk of a buyout at 5 or higher, but that and two bucks will get me some cappucino.
Was eyeballing MCZ too, but VWPT won out.
Anyone watching the VWPT speculation?
Booshing on buyout rumors.
ABAT sputtering...
Earnings came out Tues., and were very good, but expensed bonuses and a government-enforced 2-wk uber-vacation kept it modest compared to too-high expectations.
It gapped the wrong way out of its triangle on high volume and below the 13-day MA. Then today climbed above it but on tepid volume. A flag of flagging enthusiasm. Took the money and ran for a 35% gain, nuthin' to sneeze at.
well, TSYS was sort of a triangle... eom
OT: heh heh, cool pic.
"You made me come all the way across this damn meadow to tell me WHAT?"
ABAT setting up for another leap?
Looks like a nice triangle forming, like the one TSYS jumped out of.
ABAT earnings due out this Monday or maybe Tuesday.
BRST...wocka-wocka-wocka!...eom
"Blue Horse Shoe"... heh heh, reminds me of that MAD Gunsmoke spoof...
Old timer: "Whut'd ya shoot Blacksmith Sam for, pardner?'
Black Bart: "Fer puttin' a pair a shoes on my horse."
Old timer: "Whut wuz wrong with that?"
Black Bart: "They wuz blue suede shoes."
chased this one up (yikes, a no-no) and bought at the 1.85 high, missed the early 1.65 due to some rotten techno-luck...
But BRST has been at 1.85 before, I think right after that 60 mill payout. Surely this Patel decision will push us well past that?
I couldnt help it... I committed the grievous sin of chasing a stock upward... I grabbed some BRST at 1.85...
Damn E-Trade! I kept ordering to execute and it wouldnt execute! 1.65, 1.74, 1.80... argghhhh
Court decision apparently in Burst.com's favor against Apple. Man, what timing...
heeheehee...BRST... three for three?
Up a nice bit this a.m., will it keep on going?
Tried to buy some at 1.55 yesterday but my order wouldn't go through, even when others did at that same price.
I am REALLY annoyed...
BRST.PK.... hmmm...
In a patent fight with Apple over digital compression. Flat price pattern on the chart. The band U2 has $2mill in BRST...
A pinkie. Yikes. But it intrigues...
TSYS---argghghh!!!
wuz gonna buy some this a.m.... classic symmetrical triangle breakout... arrggh
TSYS.... hmmm...

ABAT: at last, that enchanted & mythical "panic buying"? EOM
Thanks EP!
I'm a bit stunned myself. Shoulda bought more, arrghh...
Maybe this will go high enough to cancel out my MOBL loss, heh heh. Geez, whatta disaster that was. As was BIPH.
Y'know, it's scary: No matter how good the technology, or how promising the therapy, or how striking the concept--if there are crooks or incompetent nincompoops running the show, it will be GAME OVER from Day One.
Over for the investors, over for the employees, and over for the customers who need the tech (or dying of need for the tech).
I really try to get a grasp on this BOOSHING thing. I found a copy of "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator" on eBay.
But nothing beats GREAT NET INCOME.
hehhehhehhehhehhehheh
...goin' bats for ABAT!
ABAT--I got in at 2.10, when it formed that tombstone candlestick which may instead have been an inverted hammer.
ABAT turned up on a StockCharts.com scan. The gap-up on high-volume out of a midget cup-and-handle intrigued me. Little Chinese BB stock that is actually making money... hand-over-fist with polymer Li-ion batteries.
Wonder where it will go from here? I shoulda bought more, but had to limit my risk exposure: China is a funny place.
ABAT... ay chihuahua!
I like ABAT.
Revenues are great...
... but are they making any money?
No question, HDY is speculative, and on the face of things the fundamentals suck.
But hard evidence points to a lot of oil off the coast of Guinea--billions of barrels worth. HDY has the rights to an offshore concession that's the size of South Carolina, and HDY management is at the top of the field of oil exploration.
Just if anyone was interested. www1.investorvillage.com has an excellent and active message board on HDY.
Hi y'all...got out of Biofraud a long time ago. Put what was left into HDY. HDY getting ready to sell data packages to the majors... good luck.
Wyoming wind sock

fercryinoutloud...why is the Associated Press paying so much attention to these Oregon researchers, while completely ignoring Biocurex for the past two years?
(Not to diminish the former's importance, but, c'mon, let's have some consistency here.)
From the technical to the political, I have just about had it with the AP.
took a dive into the CUP.
Peru Copper. But, dangit, how did I know Beijing was gonna throw a cold sponge on currency? Copper will go back up.
