I assume its the MM's, and whatever they are doing it sure brought the bid up for once, not the ask down!
Anybody looking at the L2 at the moment, any comments? It must be unusual as the Bid/Ask and pps is dancing around with very low volume.
Good Morning to you Schris, yes I wonder too. No doubt there will be low volume all around today. If I had to make a prediction, I would stay fairly stagnant.
You seem to be blind to the fact that you were asking for inside information, potentially very valuable. He is proscribed by law from telling you that info. Why on earth would he tell you, just because you asked nicely. (While lying) You don't have to invest in the stock you know. Try some others, there's a multitude of them, even in solar.
I won't tell you that you're crazy, but, I don't subscribe to the accuracy of chart reading as a practice. For me too many variables, people can always see what they want to see.
However, take a rest. Watch the parade, relax today. Only a half day of trading tomorrow! Happy T-Day to everyone who uses this board.
Three great Buffet quotes, that I subscribe too. Enjoy your day, and it looks like we will have a good NY's if we are in!
Back to you, and everyone else from Tennessee!
LOL, I agree with your sentiment, but, ermmm can we have another final analogy? "Polish a turd" just doesn't quite make your point! Very interesting times and I know you have been a big supporter of the this diamond for some time!!
Is that days of the week or trading days? LOL
What makes you say that?
Any clues where he said that or is that just your memory? Document? Video? I'm sure he wouldn't rely on government contracts exclusively, he's such a proponent of free capitalism.
My suggestion is that there is a manufacturer, but their facility needs to be upgraded and brought up to the new specs for the 3D project. The manufacture doesn't want to take all the risk or expense and this burden is going to be shared with Solar 3D. Of course this will mean a greater profit share when sales come for us.
And this is how you stay on topic?
I concur with the speculation that something big is coming. The money, my guess is, is to go a percentage of the upgrading costs of an already chosen site. So kind of for the manufacturing first run, but also to get the place to specs. Sharing the cost as the manufacturer wants to share the risk and cost. More profit for us in the end.
"Future of Solar Energy" bit coming up on after ads on CNBC
Welcome JamesX3, you will be in good company on here, you seem to see what others see. Its going to be good. When, only Mr. Nelson knows. "Stay tuned" (Though he has said that before, so it doesn't imply immediacy)
I don't "blame" traders, but I don't understand (though I don't need to) why you, traders, don't get back in now. You said once you don't care about fundementals, you really did. If you considered them right now with the current price, you would be back in. IMO, trade as you will with my best wishes. I'm holding, this party isn't over by a long shot!
Agreed. Anyone with experience with this stock knows that this is evidence of something big in the works. Mr. Nelson is running this company to the plan. The panic is over, the volume has slowed, we have found support, buyers are looking a gift horse in the mouth. I'm fully in already, and the cash account is bare!! Otherwise I'd be jumping on these prices. It won't last.
You can get some more now! LOL
Good article SURF, and current too. Nice to see SLTD highlighted as a pick as of yesterday after the close too!
I'm a long, but I know you trade. If you don't get in now then you are looking a gift in the face and not seeing it.
LOL, you have a flair for the narrative! Or was that a tapped call? I wish!
Thank Grizz!
Does the OTC market stay open all day Wednesday or is just a half day, anyone know?
Hey we ended green. But I think we will have some effects tomorrow from this filing. Could be good! Remember Mr. Nelson's comment last Thanksgiving about this Thanksgiving!
The full version is also available on IHUB
OK, I'll ask. How did they do after such a grandiose, as you say, estimate?
Do they come out with the annual? Or separately?
CNBC bulletin: Just now announced that Solar City has a contract with Walmart to put panels and power on their stores. That should keep them busy.
Well I have been reading and participating since January. It often broke into extended arguments, the patent subject for eg, that would last days. Lately its been under a savage attack from, well everyone knows who, which certainly brought the tone down, well out of the control of regular posters. Today is most probably a break down on stock focus on my part, and I apologize for that. I was distracted by juvenility (not sure its a word!)
I'm a long and strong participant!
What was that old cartoon, someone help. Always ended with the kid yelling "Help me professor so and so, Help me I'm about to be eaten" and he would be yanked by to reality!!
I haven't had that happen to me, but since 2009, I have been struck by 'selling too early' syndrome. Fingers still scarred from the burns probably. 'Nuff said, I'm still confident about the future of SLTD, and the icing, and the turbo kick will certainly be the release of cell innovation PR's. He may do it piecemeal, milking a slower growth.
When I started stock picking (in 2005/2006 era), someone said, and I think they were right, that you could throw ten darts at the dartboard stock market and lose terribly on two picks, break even on three or four and make up your losses and capitalize on the rest. It was great, I thought this was a license to print money. Then 2008 came. Ouch, Bear Stearns... No one said they could disappear over night!
Ah yes, wishing that a company would do what you think it should do. Did you miss that class? Also the follow up chapter "Why companies don't do things on your schedule!"
Welcome aboard!
After a re-read of that, I realize that its opening up the possibility of different grades (and prices) of 3D cells. Pay more and get a greater % of efficiency! Cool. NASA application here we come.
I can't find anything like that. There is an outfit in Georgia working on 3D Solar panels, but not our guys, back in September. Anybody else remember this news item or able to throw some illumination?
Interesting, how do you know this?
Well thanks for your insight (again!) Its like the morning after the storm today.
Now that is a scenario which at least matches the occurrence. Makes sense to me. The scary part is that if its true, someone has loose lips within our management. Send them all to an ethics symposium?
