This would be a good week for a Sigma PR. Not necessary by any means but just timely.
Better yet maybe Mark can parachute in or fly into the show in a Red Baron plane doing some barrel rolls with a streamer behind him promoting SGLB.
I know, I know, wishful thinking.
Ford is a Materialise customer but I don't know to what extent they use AM.

There is an option. They can use their conventional methods or they can use something that's not closed loop. Or maybe, just maybe there's another option we don't know about.
This is not all but done and dusted.
I guess you can ask Gary on his board. He did a video interview with 3D Group and that's on his website.
Because he said so. You can look at 3dprintinvestor's posts.
Yeah, it's all crap. Thanks for finding the link.
My point is that there was an article about 3d printed parts in planes and it was something silly like a knob cover.
I'll try to find the article later.
Wasn't it a plastic knob cover? If so it's hardly newsworthy.
February 25th McDuffy:

Great point because there's a German to EOS link. This is KEY to SGLB's success.
Someone mentioned they're in every EOS printer. I have not confirmed that.
Lots of volume, lots of dumping. Seems a bit unusual for a Friday.
Old news from March I think.
When we're averaging 10 million per day, it'll be enough volume. This penny stuff is beneath me.
Might I suggest Sigma as a name.
On such little volume? I doubt it. I bet this sucker rertaces by end of day.
I called shenanigans but it went straight to voicemail.
Thanks wang.
Fool article with nothing new, but it is a Fool article:
General Electric Company's "Brilliant Factory" Will Expand the Company's Use of 3-D Printing Beyond Its Aerospace Unit

They have this video (Oct 2013):
It's July 14th I think. That's not too long to wait.
The product is Prinrite and there are three modules, INSPECT, DEFORM and THERMAL and your point is as good as any.
Oh boy! Reverse pickle in full swing!
Just wait until this thing goes kosher.
During the RetailInvestors conference Vivek Dave said NLT Q3 for INSPECT but then in the recent EOS PR they said 6 months which brings us to Q4.
DEFORM is slated for NLT Q1 2015.
Ask Gary I'm sure if it was recorded he'd share it. Or maybe he has a transcript for it already.
These are not contracts though Z. Just curious, do you see any risk here or is it all but done?
I respectfully disagree. The Rapid conference seems to be the PC Expo of conferences for manufacturing. Just look at all of these juicy topics:
http://rapid.sme.org/2014/public/Content.aspx?ID=2962&sortMenu=102001
It's one of those conferences they should be making time for in order to attend.
And yes Oscaro hopefully more of the story will be told in the next 6-12 months and we get further validation, contracts and revenues.
If INSPECT is delayed again then I'm not sure what I'm going to do.
There were other small companies there though and we're just talking last month. With an initial projection of NLT Q3 for their flagship product it would've made sense.

Evey other conference Sigma has been at people have been over the moon about it. Look at the networking they're doing!
That's from the Jun 27th 2014 Rapid conference.
Here's another with some America Makes dude from that same conference where he mentions speed and accuracy as some of the biggest challenges but alas no mentin of our precious:
https://3dprintingstocks.com/inside-3d-printing-conference-mel/
Gary Anderson is speaking about the "other" 3D printing companies and said he'd pump, errrrr mention SGLB.
It's not a guaranteed success story though.
I'm not greedy, I'll settle for a cool mil.
Disclosure, I'm long SGLB with 7 and a half shares, averaged at 16.7 cents.
C'mon 10 bagger!
Sorry, what's your point? Some of it's from a year ago. Links?
Amazing wisdom:
"SGLB will be a penny stock until its not."
Made me laugh AND it made me think about life.
Thanks dad.
For me it's not about revenues but often times it's about the unanswered questions where all anyone can do is throw out an IMO post.
I don't have much experience in investing or following companies closely but I'd imagine that they're not all like this.
Duck has been around for a while, he just doesn't post much. Similar to Jack.
I can't speak to his motives but I find him to be genuine.
Every one of the regulars here seems to be genuine as well but I'm typically a sucker and I see the best in people.
I'll answer to what I'd like to see more of. Transparency and timelines. The PRs don't do us much good if we're questioning what certain words mean.
How many people still believe INSPECT is NLT Q3 even though we've been told in a sneaky way that it's now end of year?
Why are we wasting time trying to figure out if they have leased, purchased or have been given an EOS printer? Why don't they just tell us? WildMel hit it on the head that it's possible we're trying to play catch-up now. It's also possible that things are going swimmingly but we're left guessing.
I questioned the timeline for Materialise from the beginning. It's a great PR but when will it happen? I think someone suggested September based on when they generally release updates but I have my doubts if the product is still in beta. It could reasonably be next year. What is either sides reason for not telling us?
How many of the MOUs or JTDAs have fallen through over the years? Possibly several but I don't know if we have a great way of telling.
Where were the revenues we were expecting in Q2?
I'm just throwing a few things out there. I still have my hat in the ring.
Thanks for the reply. I agree emotions are one hell of a drug and I'm personally caught in a situation where I'm underwater a bit but I also see this playing out well.
I don't subscribe to the fact that everything is sunshine and kittens though.
I'm going to ride it out and if I get burned by it, it'll be an expensive lesson and a depressing story to tell.
Thanks for sharing your current position and views, you don't post much but I enjoy reading them when you do.
So did you like this piece or not? Just curious what your thoughts are on the current state of affairs.
Yeah it was a new company and it crossed my mind as well. It had simulation in the name.
EOSTATE? Protolabs? Printrite4d?
I am being facetious. That quote gives me goosies but I have to remain strong and not get too giddy otherwise I'll find myself agreeing with McDuffy and Jackie.
