There seems to be some connection with what Kim has mentionned in the CC...I guess we'll find out when the comment period will be finished.
I really appreciate the fact that our CEO is providing greater factual information.
Actually, i think the CC was useful to provide us some good information. Seems like early 2016 will be the kicker for our Company! We will see major progress in that year, so much that we may move back to NASDAC, without a reverse split (hopefully)!
"From what I am reading today, well I don't believe in coincidence. I sure would like to see a serious intent to succeed."
I don't know, was there any indication that GMOs are no longer a concern for business in Lam Dong, and in VN in general?
Was there ever no real intent to succeed? I really would worry if there was no such intent!?
Sounds like an interesting coincidence...but maybe Kim felt obliged to hold a CC to explain that we may remain in holding pattern until such time we can make arrangements for commercial production; maybe WM is still weaving and knitting small samples of material for products that Kim cannot disclose, for companies (or entities) that he cannot disclose as well....because of non disclosure agreement of course (maybe we'll never get to know what the Company is making with our product???)...
The market is certainly not very optimistic on the eventual positive turnaround for the Company...the PPS is a good indicator.
"no one knew how long it would take...but some had the good sense to trade it and not hold it until the time was right...which has not yet arrived after all these years"
Yeap, I regret not trading my shares, it is all it seems to have be good for in the last five years...but maybe this is the right time...maybe not...
"I can understand missing a goal set 5 years ago. But if you are close enough to predict sales agreements by year end you cant really pretend you didn't say it or that you overestimated by 2 years."
Companies must love your understanding, specially when the goal is commercial production! No need to pretend overestimating, just make a good use of forward looking statements!
"Didnt see anyone wanting to grill the company why the pps went up to .15 from .03
Thats because the company didnt make the pps the market did."
First of all, it didn't go up to but down to...and yes there were many that would have liked to grill the Company, despite all the excuses fabricated for the Company
Secondly, the Company DOES make the PPS by stimulting the market's demand for our shares, through a sound business plan and through communications that support the business plan, showing concrete and timely progress.
Isn't it exciting, by Friday the PPS might be at 3.8 cents! Hope the CC will be worth it!
Sure...we have heard that a few times...
Good points. I think Kim's business model is very innovative but hard to follow, for many, too many unknowns! That's mainly the reason why the PPS is so low! IMO
They should be overwelmed with questions! I think interest is greater than ever (probably from a lot more parties)!
I'm almost certain we all have the same burning questions!
Understood...the bid price would go up if current shareholders were unwilling to sell their shares, but apparently that's not the case.
Hmm, to my knowledge, the only way that shares are taken away from the market is by revert split or buyout (the Company buying back shares or from a buyout by another company).
It's still crappy though! I don't think we'll hear anybody cheer outloud!
Ok thank you for sticky posting it. Hope that one will make the difference!
Thanks Truth but Jazz already posted it, is there a reason why it needs to be posted again?
Thanks Truth, just like your rimes!
Can't wait to hear what information we will get from the cc! This could be a very important one, we don't get them too often!
"So a very common question here is has the company produced metric tons.
Lets say you asked that question and kims responce was yes. The company has produced 3 tons.
What good would that really do?"
If the Company managed to produce 3 tons (we don't know in what lenght of period, but let's say it is in a quarter) this could be an indicator of many things:
1 - We have a viable product;
2 - We have a commercial production capacity, that serves a purpose (i.e. clients/someone is using our product);
3 - We are likely to see revenues shortly;
4 - The market would likely react very positively (i.e. PPS would icrease substantially);
5 - The Company's business would likely increase significantly (more clients, more production, more development, more financing);
6 - We could expect to see and hear about our product to be incorporated in goods that we can find on the market...etc
This is not just "any" information.
"It could only lead you to ask where it is or what was done with it or why are there no sales but the answers to those questions can not be given at this time which is totally understandable."
You seem to be a very understandable person, while I'm not, when it comes to my investment, I expect accountability.
"We really dont need to know the tonnage we need the other answers to really make a difference."
As investors, we need most information, and as investors we can best judge the course of our action based on that information.
"Same with most complaints here.
VN can go through and kim wont tell us tonnage and everyone will still ask if we can make a ton.
I get it but nobody will care if we have a ton until it sells and we see what sort of income we can achieve."
Completely wrong, wrong and wrong, most share holders care about knowing tonnage, VN, clients, products, etc.
"Proof is in the facts.
There is no way we could breed MS as long as we have without well over a ton being produced."
If we were at tonnage capacity, Kim would say so, he certainly understands what this would imply. He made sure that we were not under the impression that tonnage is achieved, as he specified that the Company made "small" shipments of MS for pilots (for knitting and weaving, to clients...).
"Nobody cares about a ton. But a sale of even $100k would do wonders."
On the contrary, everybody cares about both. Most would worry that the Company would produce tons of product but would be unable to use it (i.e. no clients)?!
...
"So yeah i get it when kim doesnt say what we want sometimes"
Apparently you get things that we don't! Maybe I should be thankful to Kim for keeping my share valuation so low, after all, he is only providing the information that the market needs to know to keep it at that level. As a good parent, Kim knows I should be contempt with as litle as possible. He wouldn't want to educate me to become too greedy, with my shares!
Good thing you don't have questions, cause apparently only dumb ones come to mind!
By the way, I was thaught not to consider any question as dum...
"The "i want it now" mentality is very childish. It really doesnt matter what the children want. They get what they get when its given."
You must feel like a parent to say something like that! Stupid shareholders, don't ask questions, you'll get what you deserve to get, stop being so childish! Kim knows what's best for you!
Did you have any question to submit?
I submitted at least a dozen questions, I'll be pleased if get answers to a few of them, at the CC. All I'm really looking for is that Kim confirms that we are producing comnercial quantities; the products the silk is being used for; what companies we have contracts with and how much we are expecting to generate in revenues...That's it! I'm not asking for much, is that unreasonable from a shareholder?! Note that I have not yet asked for profit...
Soooo...
That's basically a way to say that the cc is open to anybody!
Yeap, definitely not in the same field, and not the same valuation! Who knows where this will go...
Well, Bob, I must admit, that was an unbelievable surge, in a day and in a year! Seems that everything is possible and nothing is impossible! If something like that happens to our shares of KBLB, there will be a few retiring very happy! Lets cross our fingers for you, Romans, myself and everyone...!
Yeap...freakin forward looking statements, companies can get away with almost anything!
Having trouble with your conscience when taking business decision? Start a company, they got none (conscience, that is!).
Yeah, lets wait and see...
Hope this is putting pressure on KBLB!
"You sound like you don't have to "regularly" deal with attorneys."
On the contrary, and I share your concern! I had a rather unpleasant experience with lawyers, which let me with a lot less money in my pocket and a lot in theirs. However, lawyers are just as good as we direct them, but too often, we let them direct us. Like most professionals, they should only be advising us and seeking our approval, but, too often, we let them decide for us! In that sense, you should treat them like f...n clercs, no more!
In this case, Kim is not only representing our best interest as shareholders but he is also representing his best intrest as the major shareholder.
"This isn't some crappy little raffle where the next number gets chosen if a no show, the winner is the winner."
Well said.
Frankly I don't care that he behaves like an attorney! I just want results for the Company and our shares!
Or that he knew his chances of winning an award were slim.
Hopefully he was busy with something news worthy!
Well, I guess we're not gonna get a PR to tell us that the Company won an award!
Aren't the awards after the dinner?
Well said!
I agree with you that the Company is much further ahead than what is being presented, and, like many, I will be greatly disapointed if Kim does not provide answers, mostly through PRs (I don't expect we will get new information in the CC without previous PRs), prior to the end of the last quarter! Kim's previous communications lead me to believe that we are at a turning point and I expect this to materialise!
Lets not forget that this is also in Kim's best interest, as the holder of the majority of shares!
Good idea, I'll do that!
"...[Warwick Mills] is preparing to weave the first textiles with Kraig’s Monster Silk recombinant spider silk. After requesting alterations, Warwick is testing and analyzing Kraig’s silk to determine the best ply and cord twisting for yarn optimization in preparation for creating sample textiles."
That was in May 2014! We know that WM managed to weave/knltted gloves (not just one, see June 18, 2014 PR) since then and I don't think it would be unfaire to assume that WM also managed to weave other clothing apparel or garnment, since then (also based on the sources below). The questions are; for whom (is it Warwick's, the army, and/or other companies), what (vests, under ware, shoes, ropes,...); what quantity (one, or a few samples); with what fiber (only Monster Silk or also Big Red, Dragon Silk, and/or others); at what cost?
If production was undergoing, why don't we already have answers to those questions?
From the August 2015 newsletter:
"Through our partnership with Warwick Mills we continue to make progress in developing new woven and knitted materials using our recombinant fiber technologies.
Over the last several months we have engaged with Warwick Mill on an initiative to produce a new material, we believe we will be able to announce the exciting details of that project in the fourth quarter of this year. Warwick Mills remains an important element of our transition from a technology development company into a product delivery company."
From the last Quarterly news (October 2015):
"The last quarter brought us closer to our short term goal of commercial product launch with the first woven hybrid fabric samples created, the delivery of sample material to potential partners, and new spider silk performance records set in the laboratory."
I hope that the conference will shed light on those questions...
