I understand him,
it's kinda frustrating to think you have checked out a company, dumped cash into it, then watch the whole thing tank as people continue to claim the news is coming the news is coming for a couple of weeks.
Patience is a virtue I know, but it is still a frustrating thing to watch what should be going up go down, while being in a position of damned if you do and damned if you don't.
nitrogen narcossis
ROFLMFAO, can't imagine typing that deep. :)
I am in what sounds like the same camp you are, holding but really questioning the ability of this thing to produce. At this point after examining the long term chart patterns I am going to try and catch the next bounce in a few months and try to get my cash back from it.
If the outspoken optomists are correct then I will be in a postion to gain even more. I do still think this thing has potential to grow and I believe it is undervalued based on the sector it dabbles in, but for what ever reason it seems to be stuck in 1st gear.
LOL you have been saying that for 2 weeks now.
You and me both, watching the bid get slapped down, down, down is rather depressing.
I am really questioning the wisdom of buying more of this.
ahh, that makes sense, quick turn over, got it.
still learning this arena,
Thanks
I understand all that, based on what I read it would appear that they will be able to get the Cavet removed. I guess I am confused because I didn't see anything negative that would cause a big sell off like we are seeing.
Knowing that what was filed is a yr and a half old, and knowing they have moved 3 dredges to Africa, I am not making the connection here between this irrelevant report (to today) and the sell off that just happened.....
ROFLOL
Actually I believe that would be smokey and the bandit, Bert and Sally I believe.
well color me confused.... went away to read the filings which seem to be for 2009 maybe part of 2010 and come back to find the stock selling off.
I realize I am new to this stock market game, but was there something in the report I missed? Doesn't appear to be anything we didn't already know. In fact despite the tone of the report which I find normal for reports to the govt it would seem optomistic since they are still going fwd as of now.
One would think if the news was negative the project would have had the plug pulled before the dredges got there last month.
Am I missing something?
let me guess you are the one selling at the 9's
well never mind, guess some more decided to show up.
hopefully we ran out of sellers and the ask will start being meet instead of people selling to the bid..... been almost an hour since a sale happened, would rather it sat and did nothing than keep going down at this point.
the company itself, not really (info) but I do know this is not the first time they have mentioned sney, I think they have been following sney and every once in awhile they remind their followers how it is doing.
I am on their mailing list too, and the notice they sent out was not so much an alert but just an update.
alright, what did you guys do?
unfriggin believable.
I know everything you wrote is spot on and is why I am in this for the ride..... and it looks like the ride hit a speed bump this morning. LOL

Moron.... huh, though I don't for a secong deny that there are many profitable mining operations in Africa, the thruth of the matter is Africa is a very violent contient, if you don't know that well cant do anything but suggest you learn some recent history.
my concerns have little to do with the untapped wealth, which I believe little is known about yet, but with the crazy ability for that contient to revolt and start killing each other over disagreements.
As in the recent civil war in Libya where westerns were fleeing the region so as not to get caught in the middle and killed just cause, the same is true for most areas in Africa.
Doesn't take much to spark a war over there, which would shut down production.... never mind if the the local gov't got a hair up it's but and decided to nationalize the company.
Crazy little things like that make me more nervous about investing money in a company doing business in Africa than even the logistics of moving the various minerals they are extracting.
One thing about this company that has always made me hesitate is that they are working in Africa. Granted it is well removed for the moment for most of what is going on over there, but one thing history has shown is it don't matter where in Africa, it can get crazy very fast and screw up the best laid plans of mice and men..... even when there is no revolution going on, Africa is a tough place to be productive.
I do like your thoughts though, similar to mine for a lot of the same reasons.... hopeful we are both proven right and this thing pulls it off.
You kids have fun and play nice, this dog is tired and is going to bed, GLTA
It has been a pleasure meeting you all.
My kinda expert. :)
I like them both, I think dtro is just finding a new low around .0011, and they too are supposed to be coming out with some news which might propell the stock to new highs.
like I said I am torn, it's a coin toss in the am to decide me thinks. :)
think I like the pic more.
LOL
the dogs like possum, they go nuts everytime they come in the yard and then they kill the stupid bugger.
You can have them. :)
glad I couldn't then cause none of those interest me.
I was exploring the pink sheets web site out of curiousity and stumbled on sney, liked the potential a bought it back at 124, then bought more later.... figured it would be an interesting ride..... even thinking of buying more, gonna see if there is a pull back first.
It must have been the discussion here I was thinking of, let's see if this works:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=62718157
though being a hero was not my intent, I went and looked everwhere I remember exploring today and can't find what I saw a couple of hours ago...... hmmm maybe I just imagined it, wonder if it was in the earlier messages here maybe.
Sorry
I believe it was filed at 606pm est so won't show up until tomorrow.... I thought I saw it somewhere earlier today but can't remember where.... maybe yahoo finacee
it's explained on their web sight somewhere, however I don't believe it will effect the long term vialilty of the project that everyone is waiting on news from.
If the project produces this stock is going to shot throught the roof I think.
I was beginning to think that too, but the selling has stayed pretty consistant, I think if it was a dilution the price would have tanked already.
I have looked and there hasn't been any paid promos pumping this up, so I am hopeful this is just finding a new low, which I am okay with, cause I wouldn't mind buying some more at the current bid price but I won't be able to until tomorrow am.
I am betting the speculation is right on this one..... my finger has waivered over the sell button a couple times the last couple of days. :)
Believe me I hope you are right, I have been sitting on this thing for a week now adding more as I went, it's just frustrating.
Been burned before on a situation like this, and I am getting a little nervous.
Though those 2 points are true, I just wish they would get the news out and get it over with. I am tired of seeing it bounce back and forth between 11 & 15, it needs to just start going up.
I noticed people complaining about that over at stockanalyziers message board.
I have been using the delayed one here since I discovered it, I don't follow most stocks as close as I probably should, get side tracked throughout the day, but as I gain more knowledge, if I can make as much trading as working...... well who knows.
LOL
believe might not be the right word, I don't know him. :)
I was just suggesting someone had made a claim.
I am using zecco right now, but I am finding somethings about them annoying and scott trade keeps calling me to join them.
will check into that, is the one on this site any good? If I become a premuim member for the message board, it might be benefical to just use their l2..... more to think about.
Thanks
John
yes that did help, it's similar to the trades link on this site, only in real time instead of a 10 minute delay.
It is something I have heard of and considered, but never really asked for clarification as to what it was.
Thanks,
John
Didn't someone earlier claim to be calling them and supposedly they were going to call him back?
so what does L2 do exactly?
only after I buy another 100k at 14 or less!
LOL
