I may be sober, but you know I still have a nice supply of pharmaceutical helpers. I'm very seldom "not under the influence"!
Did we make any money today? I just got home, and I'm too scared to look!
One finance manager to count, and two to keep an eye on him?
That is a PILE of cash. Even in $100 bills, that's 1,560 actual bills.
The most I have ever had in cash in my hands was $7000 in hundreds. (a casino win.) That's only 70 bills, but it looked like a big stack.
I'm ok with using my credit card!
I have a visual joke about how a one armed man counts his money. I will have to save it for when we meet in Silverton, and I have about 3 drinks!
Should we plan on taking a Soyuz flight too? That's only $30 million or so. We could make history and be the first DOUBLE TOURIST flight to the space station!
I would give my left arm to do something like that!
Let's go CGFIA! I need $30 million!
I know, but you have to give the guy a break. He is a new guy, still excited with $$ signs in his eyes. I wish him luck. We haven't seen .0003 in a longtime. Maybe he will be our "good luck charm".
Note to NOOB: I'm not picking on you, buddy, just the opposite. I admire your excitement. It is just that not very many people have been able to buy when it hits .0001, and .0003 is a distant memory right now. All we have seen is .0002. Now, that is a fantastically good price. But it is stagnant right now. You may not see .0003 for a while. But when this moves on news, it should do very well, from this starting point.(end of note)
I just recalculated my per share cost average. I need to see .00056 to break even. Now, that is not bad, and if we drop a zero, I have tripled my investment. But I'm in this for at least 2 zeros! That would pay off my mortgage.
I'm with you MRDALE, I still have hope, just no more cash to buy more shares.
You are a real "Parrot Head" like me!
I have his "best of" album on my phone so I can listen to it when I need a dose of "escapism"
I like them all, but one of my favorites is "Pencil Thin Mustache". So many references to my childhood. (Sky King's Penny in particular, I think she was my first childhood crush!)
Take care Bagel, keep us informed of any news!
You have had a tough week with the accountants, haven't you Sergey?
I don't think the vodka is helping, but I'm only half Polish, so I only know half the story.
I hope you are right, I DO NOT like that jacket. It is too tight under the arms, and it opens on the wrong side!
I want about a half dozen $5000 suits all paid for by my CGFIA stocks!
Stick to your plan, Brendan. Just do what you can afford to do. You know the rules, no playing with money you can't afford to lose!
We will see good numbers soon, my friend. And your "small investment" as you call it, will be worth the wait.
You are a fountain of knowledge, RKY! I was saving the Daiquiri info for a day when we could "act snooty" and brag about our gains.
"Boat drinks" as Jimmy Buffett says!
Noobest;
Glad I could help a tiny bit.
There are a lot of smart guys on this board. They taught me a great deal, and saved me a bunch of bucks!
Good to have you around, and keep asking the questions. It helps everyone.
The only stupid question is the one that never gets asked!
Good Luck! I hope you can convert your play money to real profits successfully!
Warren, Now here is a continuing example of the trouble I am experiencing on my iPhone.
I addressed a message to you, but it went to Koogs.
This happens a lot from my iPhone.
The posting screen said it was going to you, but it seems to go to the last poster in the thread.
Any ideas?
Thanks, MT
Warren,
Now, I find the app on the iPad easier than on the Safari browser. The browser is really difficult to type or edit posts. The print is so tiny.
The app is nicer for those of us with aging vision. (I know you can stretch the Safari screen, but it is just simpler if you can see the complete posting area.)
What I do miss on the iPad app is the ability to use the "quote", "color", "bold" and other selections available from the browser version.
Also, the app is not "mod" friendly. In order to do anything as a moderator, I have to go to the Safari browser to get the "manage" selection on a board.
All in all, it is a good app for the iPad, but I wish it were a little more all inclusive.
JMHO
Thanks for your work!
Oh, I thought you may have personal experience with the jacket. ... I do!
Unless something breaks soon, I may be wearing one again!
People think in a little nuts for playing in the deep end of the pool with pinks. I say let them laugh at me now. I'll be the one laughing later. (The only question will be if I'm laughing for sane reasons, or at the pink elephants I see!)
If I could have 10% per week I would be a very happy man! By the end of the year with a compounding effect, we would all be "very rich".
Think positive! It could happen! But I'll be happy with being 1/2 of "very rich". (I'm not really greedy.)
RKY, the jacket has sleeves, just no openings for your hands! (Is that the same as "no end in sight", or "no light at the end of the tunnel"?)
Right now I am on an "economically induced boycott". I'm out of disposable cash. It happens every year at this time when the Christmas bills arrive, yearly bills come due, and the medical deductible payments kick in!
I'll be lucky to have extra cash by the end of February if my taxes go my way!
I'm with you RKY! Wether I like it or not, I'm with you!
Something has to give, SOON!
As long as there is life on some of the CGFIA shares, then we still have hope, MRDALE!
(Carl Sagan had the odds in his favor when he bet that there was life out there somewhere! I like to think we have a little of that luck on our side too!)
I'm confused by your question. If you are playing with "fake money" then you make nothing by the stock's change in value, other than more "fake money".
If you had real cash invested in CGFIA, and bought the stock at .0002, and it went to .0003, then if you sold the stock at .0003, you would gross a 50% increase in cash invested. (Net value would be the amount you have AFTER commissions are charged, and the original investment is deducted.)
Is that what you were asking?
It would not be 33%.
Example:
Buying 1 million shares at .0002 costs $200. Selling 1 million shares at .0003 pays $300, returning a increase of $100.
$100 (amount gained) is 50% of $200 (amount invested).
You look at the invested amount when you are calculating the return on investment or ROI, not the gross amount paid to you when you sell. (all these numbers do not account for commissions)
Thanks, Sergey, I'll add those to the accounting.
I'm doing pretty good. I little more each day.
I'm trying to make sure I can do my "Grog dance" when CGFIA gets rolling!
I believe you are correct, Sergey. I also find your observation about the time just for this simple task to be very telling.
This is why, I believe ,the AM-03 is taking a bit longer to get submitted, as the related press release said. It is better to be overly specific and well stated with the details of the dry stack plan. We know it will be overly scrutinized, so why not give as much information as possible. With this advanced depth of information, the odds of getting cleared on the first pass is greatly increased. (by reducing the possible information they could think of as lacking.)
If something is deemed missing, you subject your project to delay due to a longer approval process.
JMHO, but it seems when it comes to the engineered plan's information, the old saying fits, "better safe than sorry", or maybe "more is better", or even possibly it is a case of "if you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bull s**t"!
Whichever or whatever gets the job done is OK with me!
You did it again, Bagel! You should be the official information "beagle", not the bagel. A real info bloodhound!
I think I'm going to start a pool to see who digs up the removal of the C&D order first. You will be the odds on favorite!
Great work! Thanks!
LOL, Sergey, not at your message, it is valid, but your use of "Richard"!
I know him as "Dick"! (and I think that is what you meant)
Good old "Dick Johnson"
Keep smiling Sergey, it keeps everyone wondering what you have in mind. (Let them keep guessing.)
You brightened up my day with a smile at least.
In top hats and tails singing "Putting on the Ritz"!
As always, SG, you hit that one right on the nose!
Let's get out the pitchforks and scythes, or should that be the pickaxes and shovels, and pay a visit to Wally's office!
Do you think he would get the message? I'm thinking that we could get a couple thousand out of work miners to accompany us.
I hate to say it, RKYMNT4, but Sergey, myself and a few other guys here believe the same thing. Wally is a bureaucrat and, as Sergey so eloquently stated it last week or so, love to "keep their asses in their chairs".
Wally Erickson will not rubber stamp this. (he nitpicks about the type of grass FCOL!)
Ultimately, we will be cleared, but I do not want anyone thinking if the 03 amendment goes in on Friday, it will be approved on Monday. (any Friday or following Monday, not this coming week!)
JMHO, but realistically, keep this in focus everyone.
This crap takes time!
Good Luck to All!
CGFIA
Will do, Sergey.
Keep adding and you will need an aircraft carrier to hold it all!
Good Luck!
CGFIA!
Got your message, Digits, and I will do!
Good luck with the investment, but most of all best wishes and prayers for your wife's recovery.
MT
Thanks RichieBoy.
I probably won't be able to get to this till later this evening, but I appreciate your help! (I just have one of those "busy days" today.) Thank you!
Thanks RichieBoy! I will give it a shot ASAP. I appreciate your help.
I'll give you an update if it works.
GLTY, and happy trading!
RichieBoy, I am experiencing the same crashing trouble. I have no fix for you, but the iHub app on my iPhone 4, (running mostly on my home wireless network), crashes at different times. Sometimes when typing a longer post, many times when going to a member's posting history.
I have tried closing all open apps except iHub, rebooting the phone, all to no avail.
I also have problems when replying to posts in a thread, the message fails to go to the member listed at the top of the typing page, but it ends up going to the next to last message viewed before the reply. That is annoying, not only to me, but to the errant member who received it.
Hope they fix these bugs.
Hang in there, it will get better.
And let's not even discuss the value of the Drachma! He heard gold was a safer investment.
But I hear this guy lived like a dog in a barrel outside the city gates. Talk about being off the grid! I don't think he is a good source of financial advice.
LOL, RKY, I think maybe he is down in the CGFIA mines looking for our gold. He decided that was easier and definitely more profitable!
I understand he has switched over to a flashlight and partnered up with the Energizer Bunny though!
I just wanted to add my thanks to you Johnny, and everyone else for doing such a great job on this board.
Some of you know I keep busy on another junior miner board. This one seems to be running so smoothly I don't feel you need to see my 2¢ cluttering up the conversation! I do read almost every post, and thank you all for your DD & opinions.
Again Great Job Johnny Trader and the rest of the spy network!
Still waiting for the PCFG Millionaire's Club to become a BIG $ List!
Wally worries about the type of grass being planted on the areas of the reclaimed settling ponds.(remember that lengthy back and forth with the DRMS & CGFIA?) Leave it to him to nitpick this to death.
I'm not trying to be negative, Brendan, just realistic about bureaucrats who are afraid to complete a project. After all, it might give him less work to and he could sign himself out of a job!
I hope someone has some brains at the DRMS and realizes that this project could be a windfall to the Silverton area! JMHO
You should consult Diogenes, he asked the same question about man in general! (and that was 2400 years ago! I hear he is still looking.)
I wonder the same thing MRDALE.
That would very nice of him. I would love to hear his assessment of the geology around CGFIA's leases. As an independent observer, his opinion would be very valuable to us pedestrians.
If i can be so bold to ask, pictures would be absolutely wonderful, if he can manage that too. But I'll bet as a geologist he would have already planned to do that!
(I'll even do the posting for him if he needs help with that.)
Thanks for thinking of CGFIA, and thank your dad for us. Even if he doesn't get there, it is still a nice gesture and offer.
GLTUA!
I doubt the DRMS would hold anything; they don't seem to care about things like PR's.
I would guess that they will notify CGFIA and then post it. Posting by the DRMS sometimes takes a couple of days.
I think Mr Guyer will be shouting about the lifting of the C&D order from the highest mountain in Silverton as soon as it is known to him.
Remember, this is a two part problem. The settling ponds need to be completed AND the dry stack detail plan approved to get the POW mill back in operation.
Hope that gives you what you were looking for, Outlaw18.
Good Luck to us all!
As far as I know, the permit has always shown "active". It is still a "viable" permit. It has been placed in limbo due to the C&D order. Simply put, the permit is good to go, it is just restricted until the environmental issues are cleared up to the DRMS's satisfaction.
Thanks for the update, Davidio. It is good to keep a close eye on things.
GLTY
CGFIA
Pretty good. I had my Cardiologist today. I'm ok for another 2 years! But since I can't walk fast, they have to use drugs to get my heart rate up.
I have the foot surgeon tomorrow.
That is the biggie. I'll find out if I can start to get back to normal things, like driving!
Thanks for asking, Sergey!
I can't wait till we get some decent news from CGFIA.
Keep hoping and looking.
Calling, or implying, my posts are wild speculation is not reality either. If you really read my serious posts, I caution others from taking things they read as advice. Just read the tag at the end of any one of my posts.
I admit I joke with members on this board, but I do not make wild speculations about price, or unsubstantiated expectations of when to expect events to take place.
I pass along information found on or in DD. I also explain my statements when asked.
If you have a problem with my posts, I suggest you try the ignore button.
