That's funny it's also pretty much what I did. Finally sold at .014, bought at .0053, sold at .012. Thought about buying back in but chose not to when it was clear Vale was moving out of the area.
What if you don't have your shares in 6 months? Do I win?
So guys who sold at .20+ and didn't wait for the BS distro will make less money than the guys who rode it back down to a half penny and may or may not actually get the distro? An interesting theory you have on your hands there.
Well, I think if you sold before Dec. '11 you're probably up money because if you held your shares they were only worth .005, and I'd be surprised if BVIG is trading over a penny when/if this "new" distro ever happens.
Uh, no, just everybody who bought for the distro back in June-July 2010, which is what was stated by the company.
Maybe we can get a link to the SEC compaint form stickied?
It doesn't matter what KATX's or your lawyers think, only what the SEC thinks. With the number of complaints they're going to receive about what's going on I'd be surprised if anything happened quickly.
I don't think the SEC is going to share your attitude.
No amount of muddying the waters is going to make what Ken is trying to do right. A classic "bait and switch". Just remember that the SEC has to approve what he is trying to do.
Hastily made trade...that's funny since you could've held your shares for well over a year and still not get the distribution. It's pathetic how some on here are trying to justify his actions. To promise something and then change the terms of that promise unbeknownst to the people you made that promise to isn't ethical no matter which way you try to cut it. Remember the SEC still has to approve the S1, and I suspect they'll be getting some calls about it.
Don't worry about it, it's dishonest, but on par for a stinky pinky CEO, which Ken Stead has proven himself to be time and time again. So much for honest Ken I guess, if anyone ever actually believed that rubbish.
I don't think it's another divvy, it looks like they're moving the record date from July '10 to December '11, so if you bought for the original distro in July '10 but sold before December 21, 2011, you're SOL.
So you're fine with Ken and Tim moving the record date by almost a year and a half, thereby leaving people high and dry who bought KATX because of the distro announcement back in June '10? What happened to Ken and Tim being good Christian men? Shouldn't Christian men honor their word?
Wow, didn't see that gem. So KATX IS being discarded, now the shell game is complete. Wow, props to those who called this 2 years ago.
That's pretty crappy of the company to do that, hope they still decide to honor the first distro, but not surprised by anything at this point. Also looks like BVIG is cutting ties with KATX, like I said, KATX served its purpose and looks like it's being allowed to slowly wither away.
Soooo, did they add a second distribution or did they move the record date by over a year? If they announced a date to incite buying and then move the date over a year later...lol, wow, that's stinky pinky all the way.
Not too shabby for a Friday. Closed pretty much HOD too. Next week is probably going to be pretty strong for ICPA.
My point is this was a deal where shares were given in exchange for an asset collectively owned by KATX shareholders, those shares should've been distributed to shareholders as compensation for what was given up. Oh well, no point in arguing, good luck to all still here, wish I could say it's been fun.
It's a big deal to KATX shareholders because a publicly traded company is its share structure. If you don't have the shares you don't own the company, if those shares never hit shareholder accounts that means KATX shareholders are SOL. I do agree that there's a good possibility those shares will never make it to anyone's account though, everything being scrapped and new management taking over with a fresh story is more likely at this point IMO. It's the price we pay for playing the stinkies.
And yet those shares have yet to be distributed to the first shareholder almost 2 years after the distribution announcement. When is enough, enough?
And what makes up KATX? The shareholders. Have you been compensated for the sale of any of the KATX properties dating back to almost 2 years ago now? KATX served a purpose, and that purpose is coming to an end IMO. Hopefully former and current shareholders will get some compensation for the gutting of KATX.
Selling company assets out from under shareholders without compensating shareholders is quite a bit different than a forward looking statement. Not that I care all that much at this point.
Think maybe some weeee's comin with ICEEEEEEEPA. Was a little early to the party but sittin tight.
I heard it already got picked up.
Static getting picked up by a network for an initial run is looking good at this point. Cards haven't been laid out yet, but we're sitting on a pretty good hand.
5.7 million on the ask, 3.7 million on the bid. Don't let 'em shake ya out, clear where this is heading.
Three months ago it was trading around .001. Maybe you have the chart upside down?
You've been saying that for 3 weeks now. People waiting for the ask to drop then hitting the ask for big blocks, better get in while you still can at these levels.
ICPA- Another day of good buying.
Looks like our sellers got shaken out yesterday. Good stuff ahead for ICPA.
When stocks shake out like we had yesterday, it makes upward movement that much easier. Shake the sellers out and MMs made them come down if they were intent on selling.
Love "the sky is falling" posts. Ready to move up.
Not sure of the talk, but getting listed on the Naz is all about getting your PPS up, and a tight share structure is the best way to do that.
They would be restricted for a year max, that time has come and gone, but whatever, it doesn't really matter. Opinions are opinions and pinkies are pinkies. GLTU.
Not sure where you're getting those numbers, O/S only around 400M.
ICPA shake and bounce, like clockwork. Hopefully no one here went for the headfake.
Thanks for sharing that, place your bets ladies and gents.
O/S went from under 300M to over 600M in one year while everyone here yelled shorty. Nuff said.
Not a whole lot of volume for this kind of downward movement. Shake and bounce IMO.
