That's what I've been doing. I always re click on the board I'm in to be able to see the new posts.
But is that the right way to be constantly clicking to see what's posted?

In other stock chat boards that I visit new messages just scroll on their own, you just see the new posts automatically.

Shouldn't newly typed messages scroll on their own, so you can see what's being posted?

Perhaps only the paid members get that feature of scrolling messages, seeing what is posted next without having to reload or clicking on the ticker that you're in?
