beacon27: In this case, what's your definition of an "unfavorable decision"? lns
Yes, this Citi link gets me thinking...I wonder if Citibank will be involved w/ any Check21 functions involving NeoMedia on top of advertising w/ PaperClick? Maybe they could the first bigboyz on the doorstep for that "rollout".
Time will tell.
penny: You're the one that needs to "get real". We know everything PUBLICLY that there is to be known about NeoMedia and SO DO YOU!
Meaning: YOU HAVE THE WHOLE PICTURE, which you complain that you don't have. The ONLY OTHER WAY to ACTUALLY get a CLEARER picture is to apply for a job at NeoMedia, Ft. Myers, FL.
What more do you want? This is a FULLY REPORTING company who is in GOOD STANDINGS w/ the SEC. What more do you want?
Heck, even AFTER you posted the reply you say you got to an email you say you sent to CF, you STILL want US to answer YOUR questions or "somebodies" questions that...
NONE OF US CAN ANSWER!!!!
Are you getting the picture yet, pennyheaven?
If not, sit down, pour yourself a cold one and read this again, and again and again if you have to, along w/ your email and response from CF.
You're constant "the sky is falling...somebody tell me why" posts are getting REALLY OLD and TIRING. I have nobody on IGNORE, please don't be the first for me.
TIA,
lns
penny: This thing fake? C'mon, if it were "fake" then I guess P&G is in on the scam and Intel as well. Oh yeah, lets not forget about SAIC, too.
Get real and think about it. In your case is seems insecure feelings have taken over level headed thoughts.
Either that or you have thought about it, know all about it and are just trying to demostrate your prowess at this game.
"FEAR THE SCAM!!!"
OT: Chance of rain: 50% EOM
freephotoads: Cornell "bailing out"? What? You state that like they're a bunch of novices who are susceptable to "cold feet syndrome" and run scared when the wind blows.
Sorry if you didn't mean it that way, but those words convey that thought, at least in my mind.
Good find, ss9173. JP, you on this? EOM
Fitting quote from an article talking about the big indexes in general, but states our situation here to a "T":
"Let me be clear here. The next big volume day will dictate the next move. The tightening range dictates that."
:)
Nice one, dlethe01. Gotta love these dots! EOM
ALYNNB: My thoughts exactly. P&G alltheway. EOM
Personalizit: I'm using the same site. Strange. EOM
mmmm, good things do brew in KS. ;) eom
mmmm, tasty. eom
OT: Personalizit: How did you get that big *ss link to post? Everytime I tried it would cut it in half. I was looking at different variables though. Same jist...
This is setting up like a firworks display on the Fourth of July!!!
:)
THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' 'BOUT! EOM
Zacked: I'd hardly call it "charting expertise", simply observing, that's why I use the pre-post disclaimer, "SWAGBADTA".
SWAGBADTA = Sophisticated Wild Assed Guess BAD Technical Analysis
The "SWAG" part comes from somebody here who posted it a couple months ago. Thanx again whoever first used that acronym for it fits perfectly.
The zero (0) line I refer to is on the MACD (12,25,9) technical indicator.
And, I think it's impatience rather than patience. lol!!
Just kidding...I have a lot of experience being patient in this department having watched another stock of mine go down for five years straight. And let me tell ya, it's a LOT more fun watching one go up than down! :)
One month MACD (12,25,9) finally crossed the zero (0) line heading south.
SWAGBADTA based on clockwork CF S4 filings and PC NR's: Next 5-8 days MACD continues to travel south then 3-4 days back up north to the zero (0) line. Setting up for a 6/24 CF S4 filing followed by a PC NR early the following week for a nice POP in share price as the MACD continues to head north above zero (0).
ChuggaChuggaChoooChooooooooooo
July a repeat of April? That would be schweet.
Question is: How valuable is BSDS alone?! EOM
Dm3: Most folks like to feel safe. EOM
Dm3: Can't say fur sur but doubt it. OEM
pennyheaven: Zacked nor anybody else. EOM
a nice day then all of a sudden...! EOM
Kinda like storms here in Kansas. EOM
Really, like last week was even bad. EOM
snowblow5: You are correct. Thanx. EOM
CF speaking at the MMRS next week shows exactly where PC stands in comparison to the "competition".
No worries here folks. If this barcode scanning, connecting physical objects to the internet, takes off and is accepted as a useful "tool" for consumers, we're golden.
It all depends on the public's acceptance.
snowblow5: "poison pill" = No buyout. EOM
trimobile: Your point here about "no traction" is exactly what I was trying to convey w/ my post yesterday regarding the Virgin settlement and the "power of patents" (and recognition).

Doji's all around. Which way will she go, which way will she go? We're a hair away from the MACD zero line heading south. You can almost feeeel the pressure.
Looks like Freddy FatFinger's .615 entry didn't get erased from their screen. I've seen it erased from others I've looked at though.

saskwatch: I wouldn't think so, but I dunno. EOM
SOG: Yup, because the quick ones come from above. EOM
Regarding the Virgin settlement: IMO, for a smooth, world-wide roll-out of something along the scale of what PC and the WordRegistry can offer (one way, one system, no competing "factions" = quick, easy rollout, availability and acceptance among many big players), it's imperative for there to be no question as to the underlying technology's functionality, portability and acceptance.
For that to take place, IMO, patents need to be submitted, approved and validated. We are in the validation stage w/ Virgin. Just look at MSFT's reach? Do you think they could've accomplished the world-wide acceptance of what they did and do if they didn't have rock-solid patents to back them up and a "platform" that many could rely on to "be there tomorrow"?
It's for that reason that I think they are really taking their time in getting this issue "settled". And, it's not just for NeoMedia and Virgin's sake either. For all companies wanting to make money off the back of m-commerce of the like which NeoMedia's PC technology offers, they have to know that when they market/advertise what they do using MOBILE functionality, it's GOTTA work ANYWHERE. Remember, the WordRegistry is a FUNCTION of NeoMedia's PaperClick technology - words won't be in there if they don't work on the PC "platform". If there's no worldwide acceptance, let alone US acceptance (via validation of patents/platform), there's no profitability for the WordRegistry, hence, no moola for SAIC. And, SAIC isn't comprised of a bunch of stumps.
IMO, endless court battles cannot take place over a long duration of time, here or anywhere else for that matter, if it's going to be the profitable venture that marketers are going to want to see.
The SOURCE has got to be trusted. In this case, the source looks like it's going to be NeoMedia. It's also, IMO, that once the Virgin suit is "settled", the rest will quickly "settle" as well. Ever wonder why they aren't moving along w/ the verocity of the Virgin suit? ;)
Nice pick-ups, success! Agreed. EOM
OP3/ScanBuy reply: A canned legal response, IMO. EOM
I get the impression that some around here not only THINK a buyout will occur upon initial market acceptance of NeoMedia's PaperClick technology, but that they WANT that to occur.
Transparent they are.
Where's a good "beartrap" when you need one. EOM
clare-the-bear: Well, I guess that all depends on what your definition of "is" is. Please, gimme a break and get a life.
MY WORDS: NeoMedia PLANS on making a SH*TL*AD of money on the marketing and licencing of their PaperClick technology and their WordRegistry in partnership w/ SAIC.
