There must be a full moon.
Now in addition to the wailing and gnashing of teeth we have those that want to send ridiculous messages to make absolutely sure they lose their investment. Assuming that anyone of them has an investment.
There are many chronic cases of denial here. Both pro and con.
I think it is safe to say that QTN is a success. The question is how much will the shareholders of QBID share in that success, if at all. Well, I for one, will wait patiently for that answer. There are some, like me, that will also wait or even add at these prices. Others have already given up. That to me is also a form of denial since the wheel is still spinning on this game. To be sure, one group or the other is right but the answer as to whom remains to be seen.
Sorry Reindl,
But no, I don't feel that way. I try, as much as possible, to keep emotions out of my investments. Besides, I don't think the show is over quite yet.
"He's going to get a blunt assessment of his corporate governance and the damage it's wreaked on shareholder value. I'll also be pressing him on releasing the audit, spinning off QTN from QBID (TMM), and hiring a professional CEO and CFO. I've had enough.
"
Are you for real? You've had enough? I had more respect for your previous posts. Just what is your leverage to accomplish these wondrous tasks??
The old lets hire a professional CEO and CFO. Wonderful, now just what do you think it would cost to hire either or both at this stage??? Fifty grand a year? more? much more?? to get the quality that you, whoever the hell "you" is wants. And just where is the money to come from?? Whoops, I'm sorry all Frank has to do is raise the A/S some more!!
Whatever you are drinking and/or smoking, give me a hit too!!!
No Seren, I see no evidence of that although I could almost wish it were true. I would be very surprised if Frank is not already aware of what is being said by his shareholders but for whatever reason is simply not responding.
As to participating in the letter discussion, she already made her position clear as did I and some others when we declined to participate. Having said that, there is no further need for us to belabor the point.
For the record, I'm with Skunks and Islandboyz on this one.
If you like - "You are trying to teach a pig to sing. It doesn't work, and annoys the pig".
Maybe not smiling but a long way from the wailing and gnashing of teeth that I see here.
Is there a reason for believing we will see 0.0003 today or is it just the usual pessimism??
So much for fellowship and good cheer.
Good evening ladies(?) and gentlemen(?), tomorrow will bring even more excitement I'm sure.
Nooo, I believe she was Mary of Peter, Paul, and Mary. Eventually one of them got in trouble over their lifestyle, if I recall. Can't remember which episode though.
Well one of our streamers is wrong - LOL
I showed a buy at 0.0005 for 1900 shares just about 10 seconds before close and another buy for 999,000 just after close. Sorry I've already closed my streamer so I can't be more precise as to the times.
Surprise - close at 0.0005 with a buy of 1900 shares.
At least that's what my Scottrader streamer shows.
HiRad, they don't have to recognize them, merely appreciate them when they hear them. As you say this is an old series, I don't even remember it except for once or twice. But it may be that it is old enough to be "new" to the younger ones and they might like it. People are still watching re-runs of things such as Gilligan's Island, I Love Lucy, Star-Trek, etc. I, for one, do not know enough about the viewing preferences of the GLBT community to judge if it is a good move or not. However, from what I can see, Frank & Co. have apparently done a good job so far in selecting programming for their audience.
Re: Mary Hartman Show
At the time that show was airing, my wife was living in a community with a large gay/lesbian population. According to her, that show was an absolutely enormous hit with the glbt community. They would rearrange their schedules just to be able to watch it. She tells me that it was airing between 10 - 11 pm but no one would go out to the bars or whatever until AFTER the show. Perhaps those of us that are straight are not the best judge of what would or would not appeal to the glbt audience.
Agree with Froy totally.
I know this will probably be deleted, and I figure I am already on the ignore list for most BUT it seems that in the evening all the Dunkin Donut crowd goes to sleep. I see more worthwhile posts after they go to sleep than I do all day!!
I wonder if they wonder why?
Good night all, and I do mean all.
Cabo Sailor
jcradio, are you a sailor, boater,
I recognize the brand name and your posts are in line with someone who's spent time on the water. Of course, I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
Behoof,
Thank you, I love that quote on your signature and agree 110%.
Thanks,
Cabo Sailor
And do you have a letter to Santa Claus too??
Just curious - how many people, not counting yourself of course, do you think would be sending those e-mails. I certainly wouldn't.
IMO "People" are not selling. Blocks too big for these to be retail trades.
I see hundreds of millions of shares are being traded back and forth at 0.0005. First the MM's set the bid x ask at 0.0005 x 0.0006 and millions of shares are "sold" or "dumped" if you prefer at the bid then a little later they change to 0.0004 x 0.0005 and most if not all the shares are "bought" again this time at the ask. So sold for 0.0005 and bought for 0.0005 by person or persons unknown. Only rarely do we paint a sale at 0.0004 and that's probably for show IMO.
A bunch of us have already bought at 0.0005 - looks like no one wants to sell at 0.0004.
I notice that Frank states that in Lost Wages they are meeting to "implement a financial structure to further develop the company."
That sounds like a done deal and he already has something up his sleeve. Nothing about discussing, deciding, etc.
Fenian,
Good ol'Spanky is famous. According to him ALL pink and penny stocks are scams. On the CBS board he is constantly getting booted by the moderator. IMO he's a nut case that probably got burnt in pennys and now he crusades to warn everyone else.
Dang, I knew he kept standing too close to Spock!!
Mr. G I don't understand.
Many stocks have ups and downs and I can be almost certain that most people got in lower than I. I guess my point is "who cares" other people's profit or loss is not my concern, my own is my concern. A lot of folks bought obscene amounts of shares in Q when it was 0.0001, I'm a bit jealous I admit but I'm content to play my own hand. Perhaps, I have missed your point?
PBandJ,
I agree that it would make sense to divert something at this point for reeling in some excess shares. But as we have all learned, FO plays his cards dang close to the gravy stains. Maybe he is - I certainly don't know.
Thank you kindly sir regarding Wilma. Fortunately that is a bullet that we dodged. I'm a bit north of St. Pete so we just got a bunch of rain from the feeder bands and some piddly 40-50 knot winds. A few gas stations have run out of fuel but not too many.

Just my thought but I think that it is a mistake to separate the pps and vision Frank has for the company. It seems to me that if Frank was soley worried about his personal gain, you might be right.
However, my own take is that he's an old man who wants to leave his mark before the long night. The low pps hurts him in front of his potential carriers and investors. For that reason alone I suspect he would want to see it higher. Maybe not as high as we think it should be but certainly not here. I believe that's why he is pissed at the pps - not because of us but how it affects the company.
Thank you 4horesman0 - that's what I was looking for
Excuse me gentlemen;
I know that there were PR's concerning buyback but could you refresh me on when there was a statement concerning retirement of those shares?? TIA
If he doesn't I'm sure someone will remind him. LOL
I disagree. I think that in Frank's mind he will and is doing anything at all to make this a success. True stock structure sucks but I'd rather wait for that to be fixed than have shares with a great structure and no future, IMO.
With a choice between happy shareholders and a viable company, he has chosen for the company and I have no problem with waiting for the structure to be taken care of.
I don't know about you but every time I subscribed to a channel it was because I saw it advertised by my cable provider. Both on the air and in the monthly listing. Also, I am under the impression that Frank told us that it would be a week or so before he could PR the new cities so it would not make sense to see it on the website before they are PR'd, at least IMO.
Is there any significance to the last two PR's being released after trading instead of during??
I'm having no trouble getting to the investor site. Last post is from 10/17 by Richard.
If it gets to 0.0001 I'll pick up another bajillion shares. There ought to be enough available. LOL
Here is a little more history on BET along with links.
"And now it is BET TV, the largest Black-owned and Black directed TV in the nation, that is bought by Viacom for approximately $3 billion; the purchase was made using Viacom Class B Common Stock and the assumption of debt.
BET's web site stated: "Black Entertainment Television, which reaches 62.4 million households in the U.S.; BET on Jazz: The Cable Jazz Channel TM, the country’s only 24-hour network devoted to jazz music and jazz enthusiasts; BET international TM, a hybrid of BET and BET on Jazz programming reaching 14 countries around the world; and BET Books, the leading publisher of African American-themed romance novels under the label of Arabesque Books. The deal will also includes this Web site, BET.com."

2001 - Viacom completes $3 billion deal for BET Inc.

1980: The cable network BET (Black Entertainment Television) begins
http://www.kinyradio.com/tvhistory.html
Note two things: First the sale of BET was for more than just the network. It was a full multi-media with all the dressing.
Second: From the time it began until the time it sold was 20 years!!!
IMO Q is way ahead on the curve.

The CC did just what I expected.
It has given everyone on all the message boards something to argue and "discuss" for at least a couple of weeks if not longer!
Good night to all, and now that the excitement is over - I'll still be holding at least until May or June I think.
I think you will see business as usual. Only shareholders and really interested potential shareholders that saw this CC on the website heard any of this. Perhaps if they PR the new cities their might be a bit of a reaction, but until some of the other stuff is a done deal, nada, IMO.
