I hate to say it, so I'll say it quick and I'll even let you frame it if you would like. You were spot on with $QEDN.
$QEDN focused their business on EMF and everything looked positive initially. But this was never really about EMF as Amato has been hung out to dry with his weed.
On a personal note, I managed to break even here (serves me right for not bailing sooner). My initial gains offset the losses incurred on the way down.
Busy at work lately. Waiting for election boom.
WeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeD!
Time to jump back in!
We're set up for a nice bounce here. $AJAC
Kaboooooooooooooom! $QEDN harvest will be ready for distribution soon! Chill lift coming! Kaboooooooooooooooooom!
Read the initial PR when the terms of the agreement were announced. Amato can choose to buy his way out in the future if he chooses to do so. The whole point of becoming a subsidiary is to have better access to capital.
Check out the Tapestry Solutions website for validation. Boeing is broken up into multiple business entities. A lot of the bigger companies do this. You referenced Boeing's Aerospace Division. Tapestry was bought out by a different division.
Now, when a company sells to another company, the parent company enforces all of its policies and benefits upon the new company. In the case of a wholly owned subsidiary, the sub, is shielded from many of the corporate policies of the parent. In our case, Tapestry was allowed to retain its benefits structure and existing corporate policies. The major change came with accounting and how financials were reported to Boeing as Tapestry now had to provide P&L statements. As far as the Tapestry employees were concerned, there was no change to day to day activities. So, the benefit of being a wholly owned subsidiary is that the corporate culture isn't changed overnight and focuses on maintaining stability for the existing business.
EMF, as a subsidiary to $QEDN has an arrangement where $QEDN will provide "up to" $2 million in funding for EMF operations. EMF also has an escape clause allowing them to break away from $QEDN if they wish.
I'd be pretty excited to tour a weed farm myself, especially for a publicly traded stock. It's not something you get to do everyday. I'll let the bashers have their fun for now. But when $QEDN comes out with news and lifts the chill, not even the bashers will be able to stop the moving train.
I know firsthand that Amato's holding company is perfectly legal. I used to work for a company based out of San Diego called Tapestry Solutions. The President and VPs created a holding company. They bought the Metabolife building after they went out of business. This building was purchased by the holding company. Tapestry Solutions signed a lease with the holding company to operate out of this office space (it was really nice). A couple of years later, the President of Tapestry Solutions decided to sell the company to Boeing as a Wholly Owned Subsidiary. He sold simply because he wanted to open up more avenues of funding. Tapestry was already a $50+ million company per year, but the President wanted to take on new projects and required R&D money. He ensured that Tapestry would be a Wholly Owned Subsidiary in order to maintain the same corporate culture for the employees. I used to work for this company and saw it go from 60 employees to over 500 over 5 years. Tapestry is still a Wholly Owned Subsidiary and Boeing actually buys out smaller companies and rolls them into Tapestry. So relating this to EMF and $QEDN isn't so hard. They just need some time to deliver a product and report the results.
Take a look at my post regarding Amato's holding company. It's a great move on his part.

Good post. It's clear that $QEDN and EMF are heading in the right direction, but it's going to take some time before this heads sky high like we all hope. They do need to provide an update soon, which I'm willing to bet is right around the corner.

EMF is leaving the distribution up to the collectives. EMF also has a master grower with over 20 years experience. Is is possible that he is a qualified caregiver or maybe even a patient? After the midterms, these conversations that we're having won't even matter anymore. The laws are going to change once again. It'll be up to us to interpret how these MJ plays are affected.
Wrong again. Providing services for a profit is different than cultivating for a profit. Services can be a multitude of various tasks. It all comes down to the contracts and how they are worded. EMF is not selling MMJ. They are growing MMJ, but have no way to directly profit as they are not selling the crop. They are getting paid to provide space, resources, and personnel. I'm bulletproof. Period.
Calling an argument dumb is strictly an opinion void of facts. The hard evidence that they provide a service would lie in their contracts with the collectives. They haven't provided an update on their contracts yet.
I'm sure we'll soon here about their business registration status soon. They claimed they had a 180 grace period. That should expire within the next month, so expect some form of filing regarding their business registration.
The photos and videos are of a facility and the grow operations. Expect confirmation of the grow operation very soon also as their first harvest should be almost ready for distribution.
No matter how Amato looks or sounds, he is running a MMJ grow operation and doing everything he can to deliver a high quality service. We'll see how that goes very soon. Expect a lot of news over the next 2 months as all of our questions are addressed.
That's not proof. Misinterpreting the law is not proof. They are not cultivating for profit as that would require selling something for a profit. They are providing contract based services. Period.
You're asking me to provide proof, yet I haven't once seen you provide proof.
I don't conduct DD for others. My statements are based off of my own DD. Based off of my extensive research, EMF is running a legal operation. Do your own DD and draw your own conclusion.
How does this relate to EMF? Just because one grow operation is raided or shut down doesn't mean that EMF will be shut down. There is absolutely no correlation here.
Yes, it is illegal to profit off the sale of MMJ in CA. Luckily, EMF is not selling MMJ. There you go.
Not true. Saying it over and over again doesn't make it true either. Growing/cultivating MMJ in CA is legal. Profiting from the sales of MMJ in CA is illegal. Providing services to collectives and collecting money for those services is also legal. The collectives are the ones responsible for distribution and sale of the product. From there, they deal with MMJ dispensaries. We can do this all day long.
They are making a profit by providing a service. But they are not selling weed for profit, which makes their operation legal. Look it up.
EMF is contracted to grow the weed at a set price for services rendered which is a very common practice. Jobs that the government can't perform are contracted out to companies like Boeing, Northrup Grumman, and Lockheed Martin, but the government still owns the products. Understand how this works?
Making a profit implies that something is being sold. Growing and selling MMJ in California for profit is illegal in CA. EMF is growing as a service to the collectives. The collectives, who are non-profit, are selling the product to the customers to cover production costs and overhead. As long as EMF is not selling weed, their operation is legal.
The only group getting payment for services rendered is EMF. They're getting paid by the collectives for growing weed.
Sounds like a Rick James song! Supercheap!
