Yep, thanks Susan.
Nice! I just quit my job!
Why beat around the bush? HOWEVER, the cult must be careful and not flood the QA box with SGLB questions.
- Yo, Greg, sup with you and Sigma Labs?
- *cough* sglb *cough*
- are the fuel nozzles being printed right the first time every time?
I mention it but really it's just all paper losses until I sell.
What would be cool is if Sigma is mentioned and then we release a PR. That would be close to a dream scenario.
If we hit .1675 at any point I'll buy Sally a new AC.
On a separate note it's tempting to open up another account and try to flip this. I don't really have the cujones to pull it off but if we run up then retrace all the way down I'll have some regrets.
Well only a few more hours before we can say "nope, that wasn't it".
Hmmm, Timothy Sykes claims he's in SGLB long term. I hope what we're seeing isn't due to his crew's manipulation.
If it is then expect a huge dump at some point.
Same graphic is here too:

Not sure how old it is.
There may be a QA option tomorrow. I won't be able to attend it live but for those who can, be on the lookout for the chance to ask a question.
I'd be very surprised if the fuel nozzle wasn't mentioned.
In other news we'll probably hit some of the breakout board lists.
I think at this stage they should have more than 2 systems at GE as well and production plans should be in place for more. In other words the product channels need to be already established. We are left to assume it's Metronics, Burke and Materialise but who knows if those relationships are still solid and how far along they are.
I just can't help be discouraged by not hearing a peep. Again, I'm not asking for updates every day or every week but significant milestones should be shared.
The one thing I'm happy about are those two patents so I guess if they do say IPQA, they mean us and GE is ramping up, hopefully taking us along for the ride.
On a separate note, who's going to support the systems? Fix bugs? Replace hardware? Perform upgrades? It's still a small team. I know they're hiring but we're approaching crunch time.
I think so, so your point is a good one. We also have to take some of these articles as conjecture unless it comes from GE.
Some news reporting is crap and any schmuck can create a blog.
First off, they're not all EOS, that was debunked. Secondly, Adurant's solution may be cloud based or it may be on-site. We don't have enough details to know what it's going to look like. Thirdly, you can't assume that installation is easy and seamless. We don't know if SGLB is providing hardware, software or both. Will it be delivered as Materialise's next update? Will they be leveraging the data that the printers are already generating? If SGLB is providing hardware, how are they going to make and burn-in these 100+ units? Has the hardware and software been tested on all of the different printers GE will be using for the fuel nozzles?
I have a lot more questions than answers. The above is just off of the top of my pea brain.
As far as we know they have maybe 1 or 2 systems.
Thank you kanye.
Link to the article?
Benefiting us is not a bad thing. We see a mention of "customers" in other PRs of ours and people get excited. It'd be nice to have more detail as to who those customers are.
If they had their fingers elsewhere and aren't giving away their systems for free then I hope we see (would have seen) a better Q.
I'm not asking for a PR at every turn but this seems slightly significant.
Why wouldn't either put out a collaborative announcement? I don't think there's any harm in doing so.
Confirmed or speculation?
At least we know he's not Mark Cola because Mark likes parks and his family.
Gosh... I don't even know... gosh.
Of course you do. One of these days you may be right.
I don't think so Sally. Big amounts of data is different than big data.
Niiiiice, I went from in the red to in the red!
I think one of my biggest "problems" with this stock is why don't more people realize how beautiful this is? Why are there only hundreds of longs? Why not tens of thousands?
Institutional investors aside and those who don't invest in penny stocks, I can't come up with a good answer which is why I try to step to the side and look for the negative, despite my large, long position.
Anyway, just throwing it out there.
We're talking about GE and their appliance division. It's not Jimmy and his Mark McGwire rookie card.
Annnnnnnnyway anything's possible. I believe your scenario is a stretch. I do see a buyout of SGLB as a possibility though, I just don't see this as an indication that it's happening.
As opposed to buying SGLB and barely noticing a dent with the 132B they have on hand right now? Sure lets sell our appliance division.
8B is 6% of 132B, sorry I don't get your logic.
That sounds a bit high duck.
Sorry to burst your speculative bubble but GE has 132B in cash and short term investments.
http://ycharts.com/companies/GE/cash_on_hand
So they're selling this division for another reason.
Not sure why the u and the c were replaced by asterisks. Might want to get your keyboard *hecked o*t.
Oh I don't see it as a bait, I thought what you posted was a great contribution. I haven't read the referenced article but I will and I'll reply to it in a bit.
I'll throw this out there though. SGLB filed for the IPQA and IPQM patents. Does that mean that they have it or does it just mean they applied for it?
Not surprised and wholly unimportant to us but it may be a bit of a blow to those who got excited over the "connections".
The good news is that Printrite can work with just about any printer.
I'm kinda curious to see the final picture here.
Regarding the patent Smithy, good point also raised by someone else. As long as we're protected by it and it covers everything then it's a pretty clear win.
Lets try this again. Oscaro isn't suggesting 3-10 years for the product to be implemented, commercialized, whatever, he's suggesting that someone who is long on the stock have a 10+ year outlook and not a 3 year one. Taking and securing profits as needed.
You may want to reread his post.
Not unobtainable but achievable with EOS, SGLB, an in-house solution, something we haven't heard of, returning to conventional methods or a mix of any of the above.
We (including myself) want it to be SGLB but there's enough risk and unknowns where I would just suggest that it's not a sure thing.
I actually think the GE/SGLB relationship is solid based on the presentation wick found in March that mentioned SGLB and of course the Youtube video from last November where Greg called them out by name.
Why more? GE is making a HUGE investment in AM and it would be irresponsible not to test the hell out of it.
So why not more?
If this was all but done and dusted we would be commercialized.
Ummm he mentioned a timeline during the retail instor's conference as NLT Q3. Then it was slid into a PR that pushed it out to Nov/Dec.
I find Mark to be genuine but that was a bit sneaky.
Someone mentioned last week that maybe Sigma is playing catch up and that's why they "acquired" the printer? Certainly possible as well.
And you're right Sally I don't want to jinx it but the more this lingers the more concerns I have despite all of the positive signs.
What if (hear me out) what if GE is developing something in-house? Morris said "you know there are just too many problems and they're not going to be able to ramp up adequately for us to meet our goals."
Within the realm of possibility, yes?
Afterall they still only have one PR3D system (maybe 2), if they're nearing the finish line, wouldn't they have more?
I kinda agree Phin.
Unless it's not Sigma's IPQA and it's something different!
Yuck, cringe inducing. They have about as much charm as a potato.
