Can someone do all of us a huge favor and post the most recent Pacer updates?
Lets say he lowers it to 1% (which would surprise me). Is the stock actually worth less than $3.57?
I have to say, I'm still shocked and still on edge after seeing us close down today. My MerrillEdge account summary says I closed at $3.93. The closing price on NASDAQ A/H screen also says that. But everywhere else, I'm seeing the stock closed at $3.57. Nevertheless, I expected the stock to at least break $4 today before market close. I understand people aren't the happiest over a smaller past damage reward. However, it looks like we are getting a solid running royalty rate. Also, stepping back for a moment, we WON. We took Google and other large corporations to trial and won. Everyone said they would settle and they didn't. Then naysayers said they would make an example of us at trial. What happened? They fired their best shot and missed. Vringo has wonit's first patent lawsuit (which found their patents to be valid) and is getting ready to take on ZTE and who knows who else? This stock shouldn't have closed down today. At worse case scenairo, it should have closed somewhere around where it opened up.
At the end of the day, who knows how much Vringo will get yearly from Google. But we do know a few things: (1) they will have a consistent money stream from Google until 2016; and (2) they now have the credibility and ammunition to go after other companies.
If I'm missing something, please chime in and let me know.
I'm seeing conflicted closing prices. Did it close at $3.93 or $3.57?
VRNG won and we're down. This should be up a few dollars.
I do agree. But it was my understanding that people were execting a $500MM lump sum. Now it's $30MM lump sum and the running royalty rate. I think that's a better thing.
Why is it still halted? The information is out. It's on the NASDAQ page.
$30MM from all defendants? How did they calculate google. Over 1 year of infringement and that's all? I need to see confirmation.
They may be more inclined to pay up. Everyone knows Google. If the jury believes the Gorilla Google infringed on a patent and made a ton of money doing it, the idea of paying a pultry $100MM to the true owner of the technology shouldn't feel like enough. They should want to hit Google where it hurts.
This is the worst part of this rollercoaster. I hate waiting. I just want to know our fate!
Why would their be a gap down?
Any idea if jury is still deliberating? Has anyone checked Pacer recently?
Can anyone post a link to MikeHD and/or Edvacourt's blog or wherever they post their updates?
The stock price would reflect this news already. If there is someone communicating this information to a MB, that means there are others communnicating this to people that matter and they'd be trading already.
Who is this coming from?
I want to believe it, but if Vringo just sealed the deal and got 5% running royalties, this stock would be in the 4s already and wouldn't be stopping.
I have a feeling things will be different with this stock today. If we don't get a verdict today, we will get it Monday. I don't think there will be a mass selloff today so people can chase on Monday.
We have no idea if things are going well with the jury. I hope things are doing AMAZING, but unless someone is posting from the jury room, we frankly have no idea. That's why we are down 10%. If things were going well, we'd be on a rocket up. On the flipside, if things were going terrible, we'd be in the 1s again.
Or maybe people who don't want to wait until verdict are dumping part/all of their positions. If they lost the trial, I'm sure we'd be back down a lot more. If you don't remember, when we lost a motion, it went from a high in the mid $4's to a $1.75 low.
Why would the Judge full in Googles favor when the jury has this? Sounds like BS to me.
Has anyone actually seen the form with the questions laid out? Who knows exactly what they are referencing?
I agree stockbar. Makes me a little nervous, but we frankly have NO idea what's going on. So can't make any decisions based off that obviously. But in order for Vringo to lose, it has to be unanimous that Google didn't infringe, correct?
So it has to be unanimous either way, right?
I'm not sure what to make of that question.
I'll hold because they will get a running royalty rate guaranteed. They will not win a patent infringement case and not get compensation for the continued use of that same patent. It may be less than 3.5% (or it could be equal to or greater than 3.5%, who knows), but it will be sending a message to all other companies that: (1) Vringo is not scared to attack big fish; and (2) they are SUCCESSFUL when they do it. I would be surprised if the stock tanked because they only got $100MM upfront cash and were soon to receive a % of google's revenue as it pertains to its business which is now legally infringing on Vringo's patent. But maybe I'm way off base.

I misread your post. I thought you were saying the verdict had been reached at this moment and the stock was about to go crazy. I agree it will go crazy once it's reached and released.
how do you know that?
The suspense is killing me. I'm assuming it will be flat in the am until an announcement, then it will go crazy.
On what basis Penny?
Is this saying that VRNG can only seek past damages since 9/15/11 from all defendants now, not just google? Also, are there any pacer updates since they proffered the rebuttal evidence re: Laches?
Thank you for the info. I didn't realize you could day trade warrants like stock.
I'm not familiar with warrant trading. Are they freely tradeable like stock?
I'm sure a lot of shorts covered when it bottomed out at $1.75. If they did not, they are idiots.
Well I hope they're correct since I'm pretty deep in this stock. But the consensus of 1000s of people who said $15 last month was wrong. So I can't help but be cautiously optimistic.
Where are you hearing this information?
Post evidence of that please.
Thanks for posting. This is important.
Lol. Where's this chatter from? YMB?
We would all hope. But who knows.
