Josef!!! This place is bringing the quality folks out of the woodwork.
Good to see you again.

I'll start with the UI stuff and then move on to the juicy stuff after things die down a bit and you think that you can finally take a breather.<g>
The guys are planning a little party over in your empty apartment. We plan on spilling some beers and making some loud noises.
Oh Good, someone new to harass.
R.Black,
Lots of things far more important than this. However, in the context of this forum, I think that a bias by the admin is relevant and important. I didn't disrupt any other thread with my questions to Matt, so I don't really see as to how it is any of your business that I address Matt in this forum. However, since Matt has opted to not respond, it was pretty much dropped until you posted on the thread.
JXM
I won't let anyone attack you either.
Does this mean that you are acting in a proactive way to stop personal attacks or do you wait for somebody to delete a post and make a decision based on the deletion?
You were fully aware of what was happening on this thread several weeks ago and I didn't see you doing anything proactively. As a matter of fact, you publicly chastised me even though I was obviously responding to an attack. The fact that you didn't publicly chastise the other member shows a clear bias on your part.
So, of the 16 posts that were deleted today and that you allowed to remain deleted, were any of them market/stock related?
Matt,
I am not sure I understand why you lumped all of the messages in the same category on the porch. You indicated that you are going to keep all of them removed, even though you indicate that at least some of them were about stocks. What is the logic in keeping the stock related posts deleted?

SOX holding up well....up against the BRL on the 10pt chart (not shown), Moving averages getting close to a buy. Bit of a W pattern with a higher right leg than left. Higher lows, DT break. If the SOX can move to 620, I think we may have seen the bottom for the naz. I wouldn't be surprised with a pullback to 580 or 590 or so though before continuing upward.

It does look like it, and then 9100, but I like the 8000-8100 area as a target.
Yes, I do.

What bothers me about the dow chart is that it is a rounding top.
Yo no me gusta
I am thinking about it in the way that we have often thought about the naz in the past few years. Kinda like the idea that the generals are the last ones to get shot, and then the market can recover. In this case, the Dow is the general.
(from a post that I made on SI)
I am tending to lean to the rally side for the response to the fred. People were talking about yesterday's rally being action that priced in any rate cut. Considering the tremendous bull run last week, I think I will disagree. I think that yesterday's action was simple short covering in front of the fred.
Last week's action almost seems like the stock market was pricing in either a 0 or 25 bps cut instead of 50 or 75.
So, I think that I am looking for the rally to 2300, pullback to 2000 and then some consolidation between 2100 and 2200. Pure speculation though on my part. I do think that a bottom may be in place (at least for the naz) and this being (potentially) the third rate cut, I don't like the short side right now.
The one thing that may change my views there is that I think that the dow needs to get spanked hard before we can start making our bearskin rug. And last week's action was a mere scolding.
Naz 75pt chart

Of course grubbing is allowed
I would recommend going to Stockcharts and going through the tutorial. A good start.
Long term play. With a PE of 7, I think it actually may have and extended upside.
I would like to see a double out of it.

Ok, enuff trashing of other SI/iHub personalities.
I want this thread to be a friendly place for people to meet. I made the mistake of reacting to some stuff in an overly aggressive way, but in the future, I am going to try to take the high road for which I hope that I was once known.
Frankly, I think that the point that was made about Theresa Lo teaching people how to fish is important. She provides a true service that lifts people up.
And I have never really cared about the advertising. My issues there on SI were always with inequitable application of the TOUs and then some behavioral things.
All of the threads that I have ever hosted on SI were good natured 99.9% of the time. If I am to come over to iHub, I want this thread to carry on that legacy.
From this point on, I would request that this thread and its participants operate on that premise.
JXM
I am hearing about the fun on Jenna's thread.
Can you tell me who gave Viperchick her name?
Are you the real Lisa aka VC?
We understand each other.
Matt,
I have no desire to communicate in any way with Vendit. My message to him was in specific response to his harassment.
JXM
I will attest that that those posts should be deleted.

Who is Vendit???
Vendit is a guy that came over to my thread on iHub and calls one of my friends an SI Boob. This was unprovoked and uncalled for.
He then tried to have me ousted as Chairman of my own thread. He actually approached IH Admin (Matt) behind my back and tried to do it earlier than when he made his public attempt while I was out of the country on business.
He continues with his obsession with Poet by posting to her and when he doesn't get the positive feedback that he craves, he challenges her on both SI and on my thread on iHub, even after being asked repeatedly by Poet to not post to her.
He claims to want to use iHub as a place to discuss stocks only, but he came to my thread and attacked me and my threadmates and it was completely unprovoked.
Clearly he does not want the ugliness from earlier this year to die down since he keeps on adding fuel to the conflict. Why he thinks he is taking the high road when he tried to blackmail Poet and provided false information to GZ so that he (GZ) could try to break up her marriage is beyond me. But if he wants to keep this alive by attacking me and my friends, I am perfectly happy to keep this going.
As far as I can tell, the only thing that I have done wrong is be a friend to Poet and to publicly state that I thought that the attacks after the GZ incident should end so that people could get back to their lives.
It still amazes me that Vendit is deified while Poet was villified for the brief flirtation. I am amazed that people forget that it is Vendit who made the vows to his wife and not Poet. The only one responsible for any wrong doing to Vendit's wife is Vendit.
Your move Reid

I see a dead thread here until I threaten to take it. As long as there is posting activity on this thread there will not be any way that I can take it.
If this thread was placed here in a serious effort to create an interest then the thread's creator and it's P&F students should post here.
If not Im going to take it.

Here are the answers to the most frequently asked questions about iHub
What is the Chairman of the Board concept?
The Chairman of the Board concept (COB) is a very unique feature to iHub. We created this feature because of the wide-spread problem with spam, personal attacks, and bashing without reason or facts. As Chairman of a Board, you can delete messages, manage the opening information to the board, manage the e-mail list for that board or club, and add/delete Directors to help you watch over the board. The Chairman, if he loses interest in the stock, sells, or otherwise can pass on his powers to a new Chairman. (If a Chairman has become inactive and you can not get a hold of him, e-mail Support, and he can be replaced). The COB concept was designed to keep discussions focused, clean, and fresh -- not cluttered with useless links and bickering. This is a new concept, so make sure you read all FAQs and How To's associated with the various features! And use them wisely!

Vendit,
Here you are again, posting to me although I've asked you to apologize before I'd respond. You seem to absolutely crave any kind of contact with me that you can get. I'm getting embarrassed for you, not to mention your wife, who has been put through far more than she deserves. If you cannot muster respect for my request, please control yourself for her sake.
My best to you both.

I have absolutely nothing to apologize for. You are the one who has been doing all of the posting on SI, not I. That is a 100% true and accurate statement.
You seem to absolutely crave any kind of contact with me that you can get.
Really? I came to this forum to get away from you and your cronies. Why did YOU follow me here??? I invite you to leave this forum and not return.
As far as my wife is concerned; she and I and a group of "friends" have been silently watching you make an absolute ass out of yourself on SI. We are both just fine, thank you for asking.
Have a nice day.

Why not share some of your market wisdom with this thread and tell us where you think the COMPQ is going to land tomorrow and why.
Which sectors will lead the way down, or up and why.
Am I off topic?
Poet if you are man enough to answer me, I will engage you.
If your cronies speak for you then I will assume that you are not able to answer me without help.
Be serious or I will consider you a waste of my time.
The Best~

Click on the Board Manager link at the bottom of the thread header. Once in, find your desired post and click it's link. Then hit the "delete" button above it.
Now find the link above the main thread box to return to Ihub.
You, JXM and CS all have this ability.

Poet is a fast learner so I'm sure she won't have any problems adapting.
I really do like the COB feature. It must take a lot of complaints off of you. As a Chairman I certainly find it convenient.
Reid
I am sure that is very special for you.
I feel just fine.
Really? I came to this forum to get away from you and your cronies. Why did YOU follow me here??? I invite you to leave this forum and not return.
Awfully self centered of you Vendit. Did it occur to you that you weren't the motivation for coming over here? That maybe other people besides yourself are becoming less comfortable with SI?
And If I recall, it was you that initiated contact with her, not the other way around. It is you who is making an ass of himself, not her. And your obsession with her is probably going to make that group of "friends" start laughing at you soon enough. So tell us Vendit, why did you follow Poet to this thread?
And who are you to invite anybody to leave this forum? Are you a part owner of iHub? Are you an employee? Or are you just another pissant who has an overinflated view of his importance? If you are an employee or part owner, let me know. I guarantee that I will never post another word on this site if it is true.
BTW: while you are pointing out dead threads on iHub, did you notice that your thread on SI is dead? Just to put your "point" into perspective.
JXM
For all of my objections about the way tony operates, I doubt very seriously that he would either provide false information on this, or not check it out before making such statements (and confirmation). I would tend to believe tony's version of the situation. Aren't death certificates public information?
pretty freakin scary. Only on the BB stocks will you find the executives posting on the thread of a chat board.
actually, before I deleted the content of the iBox, you had 100,000 shares.
if you want it, it is yours.
it's the little things.
Very odd IMO. I received a PM from IH Admin Matt a couple of weeks ago asking if I was really going to abandon the thread because if I was, someone wanted to take it over. The reason that I was pondering abandoning the thread (and had posted such in the iBox) was that the policies and implementation of iHub, IMO, are very friendly to people who have an agenda.
At the time, IH Admin Matt did not seem to have an issue with someone coming over and trying to takeover the thread. He has come out since and said that he did not support this.
I guess I came up with a cool name for a thread.
I am trying to figure out who you are, send me a PM.
Hey!!! Check it out!!! I am a director!!!!
Cool
You are now the proud owner of part of this thread. I have added the following to the iBox.
Due to recent interest by outside parties to take over this thread, I have issued 2,000,000 shares of "interest" in the thread, which I have valued at $.50 each. I will hold 35% of the interest in this thread, OMD, as a Director will hold 15%. Other regular members will be given shares as well. Thread ownership will be listed in the iBox. Anyone interested in taking over the thread by hostile means will have to acquire 51% of the interest in the thread. You can acquire the interest in whatever way you like, bribes, convince people to give them to you (they must send me a message stating their intention), whatever....
JXM - 700,000 shares
OMD - 300,000 shares
HG - 20,000
Doppler - 20,000
August - 20,000
The Real Poet - 20,000
zena - 20,000
JeffroTull- 20,000
Toscano - 20,000
YYB - 20,000
IH Admin (Matt) - 1098
Vendit - 2
Atin - 20,000
BigJoe - 10,000
Horsegirl48 - 20,000
Neenny - 20,000
XJoeO - 20,000
Norma - 20,000
This means that I still have over 700,000 shares left to distribute...until then, I get all of the voting power of those 700,000 shares
I'll be issuing shares for the thread and distributing ISOs to the regulars. Everyone gets a golden parachute, that way when the thread is taken over, we all win.
I can see it now...hostile takeovers of threads.....coming soon - "Ask Vendit Off Topic Questions about Drillbits & Bottlerockets".
Vendit,
I am currently traveling internationally. Believe it or not, not every country has great phone lines that work all the time. I have had very limited access to the internet for the past week and it may extend through Wednesday. Before I left on this trip, I appointed a Director to make sure that the things that you mentioned wouldn't happen in my absence. Though I am a student of P&F, this thread is not strictly a P&F thread. Read the intro message if you are confused about this. I find your aggressive desire to take over my thread to be both offensive and amusing at the same time. It would be similar if I asked to be the chairman of the "Ask Vendit" thread. I am not "Vendit", so it is absurd for me to be the head of the thread. If you are so dead set on having a P&F thread, then you should learn it and start you own stinking thread. So, do you care to tell me what your motive is with this action? And before you come up with some BS answer, remember that lying is a sin.
JXM
Vendit,
I had to delete one of your posts. This is the contents with the person's alias put in where their name was.

I have edited the iBox content. Please read it. On this thread, if you make a fool of yourself on this thread, the evidence will remain on the thread.
----------------------------------------------------------
This is a forum to discuss trading and investing ideas based on both TA and FA.
Short term trading ideas and discussions are welcome, as are longer term investing ideas and discussions. I would expect that quick movers, either up or down will be given special attention.
Off topic discussions should be expected, but political discussions should be limited to how they affect the market.
Nobody is expected to agree with or like everyone on the thread. However it is expected that conversations will remain respectful regardless of disagreement.
I will not be deleting posts as often as some others may. If there is a disagreement on the thread, it will stand. The only time that I will interfere is when personal information is divulged. And then I will re-post the original with the personal information edited out.
Zena,
I imagine that you would like quite good in that.
Yikes!!! Did you see the right up that that guy did on himself?
