@ California Girls [HD] - David Lee Roth
A blast from the past...meaning me too. ;)
Feel free to use it, but I'm not replacing your keyboard. ["Don't drink and hard drive"]
Good stuff guys.
LOL, Enter FaStlane.
Whoa. How to do justice for years of good stuff...
We started with a common ground in music, but OD was just a very kind soul you could speak to about anything. He pulled me off my board years ago, seeing how I had an affinity for music, and asking me to moderate here. That was him. He found the good in all as it rotated around the music universe. If you have time, just look up old dialogs between him and...anyone. When we spoke about music history and genres, it brought the best thoughts out of me. When he spoke with anyone, it brought out the best in them.
@ Enter Sandman- Drum Cover Solo
Just like the old (drummerman) days.
I'm related. No secret to many around here. Love to hear other's take on them and their history.
The best...and we were all, at the very least, a little better for having known him.
May I ask your experience with the Boston members?
LOL, just ask for any help...I'm never too far away.
~Combined response to PM~ You could not do much better than to follow OD & Missy. Thank you for being here now.
I don't think I can do that in one post, but thank you for saying it...always meant a lot to be here.
Thank you my friend. Good to be here, hear.
@ Thank you Murray Hill 5-5555, the_8th, & Linda for reaching out to an old friend of the Old Drummerman...our good friend Bill...
There are so many memories, musical & otherwise, we can share about Bill. I would like to highlight what was best about this peaceful soul. Whether you shared the same musical taste, same fav songs, or same thoughts on anything with Bill, he found a way to make you feel good about your choices and feelings on any subject. I like to think I can get along with almost anybody, but Bill was the one who did, and made it seem effortless. To this day, I still recall an amiable way he had in a particular dialog, and try to apply it when I feel challenged or not quite in agreement with someone. He even had a way of disagreeing in an agreeable way. I'm not sure how he did it, but he always did it.
Then came the music...after all, he was an old drummer. He was around a long time, but as current as anyone with music. He had an open mind, where most older music-oriented people would surrender to the past. He was interested in what was happening now, and then...hey, he even knew who Pablo Cruise was (kind of an inside joke). He never took himself too seriously, but he seriously knew what he was talking about.
And...who could ever forget his dynamic partner, who, after being away visiting family, the Old Drummerman would lovingly cry out, "Missy's Back!" The two of them ran the best board on IHub for years together...never to be duplicated...but then, who could ever...
My best to you Bill, and all our present & past friends on 'Drummer and Missy's Place'.
Okeedokey mokey(w). Still trying to figure out the imbalances on the AMTD site (if anyone here is still using them). Technology well overextended.
Cool Mike. Fitger's I take it. I'm still here on AMTD. I'll be the last one if the lights go out.

Thank you.
Could not get through on regular phone number or Apex. Most of the problems cleared up in early afternoon, though some minor glitches remain. No public word from the company that I can see.
Not so funny for people trying to trade on its platform today.
Half an hour on hold...giving up for now and moving over to Wells Fargo. :-/
Thank you. Their phones were not working for a while too. Now on (seemingly permanent) hold...
Looks like a brownout at TD Ameritrade. Trying to ascertain if it's local or farther out.
Hmm, they took two thirds of the dividend shares away.
Hi Alan,
Honestly, there have been less than a handful of AMTD shareholders posting on this board in nine years. Most of the board members are friends and users of the TD Ameritrade website.
The platform has had several issues of late that seem to coincide with the Knight problems. I am not sure if it's coincidence or related, but I am trying to get TDA to fix my portfolio over the past few weeks. The glitches are still occurring presently.
You may find owners of the stock on various other boards on IHub. A search may help you to that end.
Best,
F8
Hi buddy. I'm speaking with Admin about it now. I guessed, and is probably correct that we had our second or third TOS report in nine years. Most newer people are not aware of our unique status here. It may or may not come to an end. If you recall, this kind of thing usually calms down quickly, especially if I get a chance to speak with the poster or Admin.
You may have noticed that TD AMTD had a rare occurrence of noteworthy news recently. As per usual, it will probably pass until another newsworthy item comes up in about 2015. :)
I'll keep you updated...
That's terrible.
Oh my. :) :/ :(
I hear ya. At this point, though, I would sell some. It's not like NY down here. In NY, they have buying & selling venues every month in many locations. In FL, they are very infrequent and broad. They don't just focus on music, or even entertainment for that matter, but on all collectibles.
It is such a good, self-contained establishment, i.e., hotel rooms, business offices, brewery, restaurant, shops, et. al., all on Lake Superior with great views. It sure puts Duluth on the map.
I have entertained the idea of selling some, just not sure I want to chance shipping the rarer items.
Oh yeah.
I had a lot of fun in that brewery/restaurant.
Mostly from my own diligence during a time that I ran Limited Edition Records in NY. I got some from my parents & friends. My dad loved much of the older stuff that completed a lot of what he had grown up with, especially since he lost most of his records during WWII.
What's #2?
