CytoGenix, Inc. Invents Revolutionary Large-Scale Manufacturing Process for High-Purity DNA
Houston, TX, (December 14, 2004) Cytogenix, Inc. (CYGX: OTC: BB)
CytoGenix, Inc. (CYGX: OTC: BB) announces the filing of a patent application with the US Patent and Trademark Office for an invention titled "Chemo-Enzymatic Synthesis of DNA and Uses Thereof". This new technology is a significant advance and a big step towards making DNA medicines a reality. The limited supply and high cost of FDA-approved DNA has stifled the development of powerful DNA vaccines and cancer immunotherapy drugs.
Currently, manufacturers use large fermentation vats of cloned E. coli bacteria to produce DNA by culturing, then rupturing the bacteria to extract the DNA. This process produces great quantities of toxic bacterial contaminants. Sophisticated and expensive purification methods are necessary to remove these toxins, driving the cost of FDA-approved DNA to as much as $250,000 a gram or $250,000,000 a kilogram.
CytoGenix' breakthrough synthesis technology does not use bacteria and therefore produces no bacterial toxins. Gram or greater quantities of very high purity DNA can now be produced in test tubes or flasks in laboratories at a fraction of the time and cost of DNA manufactured using traditional bioprocess methods.
Dr. Malcolm Skolnick, CytoGenix President and CEO commented, "Once you eliminate the bacteria, the scale of production and related costs of DNA come way down. This technology transcends economic implications. More importantly, we have introduced a fundamental improvement to the science of making DNA. For example, DNA vaccines are made of DNA "rings" called plasmids. Scientists design these plasmids to contain instructions that "prompt" the immune system to identify and destroy a viral or bacterial pathogen, such as those that cause AIDS, SARS or influenza."
"Along with the therapeutic DNA, the traditional bacteria-based technology requires that the plasmid contain DNA "instructions" for its replication in E. coli as well. These extraneous bacterial genes are not entirely benign and can elicit serious side effects. By eliminating the need for this extra DNA, the plasmids are significantly smaller and safer, thus enabling greater drug concentrations if required. We believe that by eliminating these extra pieces in the DNA plasmid, scientists will now have much more freedom and control in designing better and safer DNA drugs."
"We will use this technology to reduce the costs of the DNA needed for the clinical trials of our herpes anti-viral and anti-inflammatory topical products as well as making the technology available to others through licensing or contract manufacturing," adds, Dr. Skolnick.
CytoGenix, Inc. is a Houston-based biopharmaceutical company that develops and markets innovative products and services based on its proprietary ssDNA expression technology. CytoGenix currently has one issued US patent and over 48 international or US pending patent applications claiming methods and materials in connection with this platform technology.

BOCX was .25 cents one year ago now hitting 2 dollar mark all they have is a test kit to check if you have cancer,CYGX has a way to cure cancer ,and stop virus, and bacteria ,and the new DNA process .Cytogenix has many things going .
Hardly a sell off ,100 million share out and .01 % of that is sells today, its just the market makers bringing down the price on few shares, they are collecting it also, look what they are buying it for and what they will sell it for .It would be a good time to buy now ,I wish I had my IRS refund check.
The Partnerships at CYGX website looks different.
The Company is actively seeking out-licensing opportunities in the application of our core technology to promote the development of new therapeutic products in the fields of infectious diseases, inflammation and cancer. CytoGenix is also seeking partnerships in the development of products in the areas of animal health and agriculture. Our cell-free method for the cGMP production of therapeutic-grade DNA is also available for licensing.
I just read Cytogenix business strategy again, I like it .
Our strategy is to leverage our gene regulation technology to maximize value. To achieve this goal, we are pursuing the following milestones.
Develop therapeutic topical products for humans and animals. Upon successful completion of Phase I/II of clinical trials, the company intends to seek licensing agreements with domestic and foreign pharmaceutical companies. These agreements will fund the remaining clinical trials and FDA marketing approval steps.
Generate revenue by providing Drug Target Validation services while seeking and forming product development partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Develop a cGMP manufacturing facility to produce DNA drug substance for CytoGenix products in development. Additional capacity will be utilized for the manufacturing campaigns on a fee-for-service basis.
Our patented technology represents a significant breakthrough in intra-cellular gene regulation; and our topical preparations demonstrate a high safety/efficacy profile. Our novel cell-free production capability of clinical grade DNA represents a major advance in the field and has positioned CytoGenix to become a leader in this cutting edge area of therapeutic development.
For this reason, we are pursuing product opportunities meeting these criteria:
Diseases and disorders of the skin and others amenable to topical formulation drug delivery through body orifices (ocular, nasal, vaginal and anal) and,
Diseases for which current drugs and those in late trials are not very effective and,
Diseases with high incidence rates, global markets and significant unmet medical need.
Published laboratory (in vitro) studies have shown very clearly that the Company's gene regulation technology is highly effective in reducing protein expression in target cells. These scientific results have led to the execution of a product development strategy directed toward skin diseases and conditions treatable via topical delivery.
Very interesting day for Cytogenix berlin stock it's up 16% today, they always follow how the Cytogenix USA stock acts Hmmmmmm yesterday it wasn't up 16% .
BigB I wasn't, I was a little glad we didn't have the news that was leaked out to us that it was going to be today ,It would have been an insider thing and that's not good for us. Malcolm is being very careful these days, and with the FDA looking at cygx, wouldn't have been good for us.The Market Makers lowered it on so few shares that the stock is ready to take a run. When we do get news it should run to .70 cents levels.
Thaliowizard I don't believe you at all now.PPO's are sold in big blocks not small 40 thousand to small investors .And no PPO was sold at a 40 thousand at a price of a small BMW LOL.
Woodrow I had LOL at the end of that, meaning its a joke wake up ,Woodrow you still don't have a any independent thought of your own do you .
Can you really say that, after all the first technology that does cure cancer just may be antisense. We will just have to wait and see. Also lots of articles out there pushing a companies way of a cure its not written in stone. And stock options are not a bad thing. Why don't you do your home work on the SSDNA technology and antisense technology .I have a hard time with people telling others how many stocks , in your case 40.000 .And now you are doing your home work on the company after buying all that stock it doesn't ring true.
This news is good for Cytogenix because if the FDA gave 'orphan drug' status to Genta's antisense technology they must know it is a safe way to cure the cancers and Cytogenix may get the same treatment by the FDA in orphan status drugs.
If Genta is using antisense in going after a protein that causes the cancers I wonder if they are using the SSDNA method ,just remember the technology for antisense cures are cost prohibitive until Cytogenix new DNA production method, with the short DNA strands ,we may get some business from Genta yet.
I think you are correct on the calm .We should all thank GOD for this company and the work they are doing. I just read GNTA financials they are 350 million in the hole, they fired half of the people working for them, they closed the R&D department and sold everything. They stop ganite their only product ,yet all the big boys at the company did not take one dollar pay cut ,instead they gave themselves bonuses.
woodrow your posts are like the alien transmissions on independence day the movie, they slowly get shorter, they are subtle, and when they totally end, check mate, Cytogenix news explosion which will totally blow you away. LOL
Here is some more fluff
CYGX0301 Anti-viral compound against herpes simplex (HSV), preclinical phase
CytoGenix scientists have discovered sequences against genes in Herpes Simplex 1 and 2, that are necessary for viral reproduction or which protect the virus from a host's immune system. CytoGenix has developed a topical cream containing the company's proprietary expression vector technology with sequences against these HSV genes. The topical cream will deliver the DNA expression vector to virus infected epithelial cells where the vector will generate ODN's that will cancel the virus' reproductive capability and strip its ability to migrate to nerve cells.
In vitro (cell) studies have shown a hundred-fold decrease in the viral load. Toxicology testing is underway
If you call finding interviews fluff OK, its still better than your short little mindless stink posts.
Woodrow F Call your another zero contributor to this board .Everyone of your posts is a wasteland of thought. Did you ever once have a thought of your own instead of commenting on eveyone else's ideas.Every one of your post is a short stink comment.Listen to Malcolm then listen again a hard head like yours needs alot of education.
http://www.wallstreetreporter.com/profiles/CytoGenixInc.html
Nigel you give zero to this board, you take temper tantrums like a little baby, remember your post[I hate all of you. This board is worthless]You have the nerve to call the people here kindergarteners ,wow ,look in your baby wet pants mirror.Listen to Malcolm educate yourself
http://www.wallstreetreporter.com/profiles/CytoGenixInc.html
thaliowizard listen and learn
http://www.wallstreetreporter.com/profiles/CytoGenixInc.html
thaliowizard The fact is its not a cure its a suppressive therapy ,if anything ,second, why do you think its a cure, no test were published unlike CYGX many papers ,not even a phase of concept trial, and no phase 1,2,3.Yet you tend to go wild that it the cure of the century on at best a thesis paper from some student .I have this bridge for sale you want to buy also.Cytogenix has the Patented SSDNA technology ,I don't see any patents for yours.Just because university of Florida knows how to hype up a thesis to try to hook some company doesn't make the cure real .What will the long term affects of this RNA in a person system do? CYGX technology does its thing and goes away very clean .For your first post you sure sound like a basher ,you should have started off easy and work yourself up.
Nigel so you listened to it what is your feed back. What did you get from it .And all I am trying to do is make sure eveyone listened, new people come on board and they don't read all the messages ,so I post now and then. I don't think I posted it that many times a day ,but I will post it once or twice per day for a few more days.
Tatonkano62 can you give us your thoughts on thecures cure for herpes. The novel approach of this technology is its employment of hammerhead ribozymes, RNA enzymes that can cleave mRNA.I thought that RNA has a hard time in the blood stream .
thecure, suppressive therapy companies never say that you can't get the virus from a partner that is useing suppressive drugs in fact they warn the opposite.
Yours is not a cure but a suppressive therapy so its one shot Ok the person sill has Herpes.
thecure ,it is not a cure but like VALTREX provides suppressive therapy.Cytogenix is working on a cure ,yours is just like Valtrex inhibit herpes viral replication. When administered by a single injection after the initial infection, the therapy provides life-long inhibition of recurring outbreaks. The person still has the virus .Me think the Market Makers are getting short and are sending in the bashers clothed in helping type people, they are going to save us from CYGX .
Nigel did you listen to Malcolm and what do you think ?
Nigel did You listen to Malcolm its new.Post what you think.
http://www.wallstreetreporter.com/profiles/CytoGenixInc.html
Tell me its not true rusty ,you really bought into cmkx I hope you got out in time.
Holycow thanks for the kudos {I think of the brain version of "the incredible hulk} very funny you made my day .See all true investors in CYGX are happy on the inside and out we can joke with each other and post things that we find and enjoy the day ,but all non investors are crabby and grouchy and can't enjoy life because CYGX is leaving the dock and they never bought a ticket.
Did you know that most used car salesman call themselves professionals.LOL
Did you listen to Malcolm? Very easy question.
http://www.wallstreetreporter.com/profiles/CytoGenixInc.html
I tell the truth and it hurts .Look in the mirror first before you call people miserable. You can dish it out but you can't take it.Did you listen to the new interview with Malcolm?
http://www.wallstreetreporter.com/profiles/CytoGenixInc.html
Rusty now your making me laugh ,your the king of BS and I don't think that PP would accept a collect call from a trailer park LOL.
Again thanks rusty ,but BigB has a point all your posts say you have an ax to grind with CYGX Hmmmmm. And using those big libelous words may come and bite you .
Thanks for the compliment ,I wish, but just putting the pieces together from what I read on this board. You said CYGX had no problem taking PP money ,It wasn't allot, about the price of five good used car on the island.PP was trying to con CYGX out of their SSDNA method I think, and that is what halted the deal.Just remember down payments are often lost for many reasons in life ,that doesn't make CYGX the bad guys.
Holycow ,yes exactly your are a quick study.
Holycow, when certain bacteria and virus are killed they give of an endotoxin which causes inflammation ,the combining the two would do both .Silence and or kill the bacteria or virus and anti inflammatory would take care of the inflammation due to the endotoxins.
Ok that works .
I think more like CYGX was set up by PP ,most used car dealers can charm the glass eyes from a blind man.I think PP wanted to much technology information from CYGX and in a foreign country like India or China it would have been suicide for Cytogenix to give out to them.PP didn't even have enough money to buy CYGX shares when they could at a very discount price.
