I have my money from the OPHD dividend in my account. I sold my shares on the 24th. I am still interested in OPHD and their merger..
Larry
Ammobox... Did you find anymore info relating to Global Atomics and the merger? Did you purchase any? And is there some type of holding period where you/we can't trade the shares for a given period of time? Oh, one other ?.. Is there a chance that they won't go public and you could lose your money?
Thanks for all the DD on this...
Larry
Oh, I just read the PR from yesterday.. This is another confusing one.. The ratio for the split was 3.4-1.. The PR says 2.4-1.. Whatever... Have a good weekend!

I don't have a position. But it looks pretty good.

IBOC: Could someone please explain to me what this dividend split means? 25% of IBOC's current share price or just a dollar for every share you own.. I'm sorry, but this one is a little confusing to me.

I hate to do it, but I had to vent at a couple posters on BOBZ.. I think it was Michaels favorite basher.. He was complainig of Michael pumping and dumping.. What do you think 99.9% of those posters on that board do? I guess he wants us to tell him/them about good stock plays before we buy them.. Give everyone else a free shot of getting in.. I told him to do his own DD. And I also told him a few other choice things.. I usually don't post like that, but I'm tired right now, and I'm tired of worthless bashers..
Have a good one....

While we continue to explore the feasibility of implementing our original business plan, given our lack of success at securing sufficient financing to develop an Internet based mortgage business, we believe it is in the best interests of us and our shareholders to consider other business opportunities. Additionally, we believe it may be necessary to acquire another business to prevent having to cease operations. As of the date of this report, we are focusing our efforts on identifying such a business. We have engaged in preliminary discussions with parties about acquiring another business, or being acquired by another business, but as of the date of this report, we have not entered into any agreements relating to any such acquisitions.

Large spread, But might be one to watch... If they do merg with another company then I think that they would have to do a forward split.. Might be a good one to call the company and ask if there are any deals pending...
Unbelievable Michael, The same crap happens to me all the time.. I thought that NTWO was tanking also..
Larry
8-K.. Everything that we all ready knew..
Have a good one!
Larry
One more post atleast.. I haven't read this yet...

Have a good night Michael and everyone else.. I am out of here... I'm working overtime tomorrow so I won't be posting much until next Tuesday.. I have to work Monday also... Sounds kind of weird saying that I have to work on a Friday and Monday.. Most people would say duh! We all work Fridays and Mondays.. But I work 24hr shifts and average 10 days a month.. 2-3 days a week..
Take care..
Larry
Good to hear you atleast profited..eom
I have noticed that.. I see that there is more volume on OPHD and I don't know if someone actually sold or they let someone buy in at 1.18?
Did you get out of NTWO at .39 or .40?
Larry
Hi again, The SEC rule says 2 business days prior to the Record date on Dividends.. Here is the link that someone gave me off of the splits board...
http://www.sec.gov/answers/dividen.htm
Larry
I can't get on BOBZ either..eom
I hope you guys have a good rest of the day.. I have to leave and don't know when I will be back on.. 2-3 hrs
Have a good one!
Larry
ESYG: I remember reading posts after the split on how it might split again?
ESYG: I used to watch it.. But I haven't in awhile.. It has had some wild swings..
Yeah, I wish that we could have a split like that more often..
To bad you missed out on the pop on CNVR.. But like we all know that is the way it goes... It could have gone the other way.. Never know.
Confusing is right! And on your DD is A+... You have one heck of a system to find out DD on these companies..
Great job!
Larry
Thanks.. eom
Patsy I agree with you. But, I haven't been in a dividend play before to actually know for sure.
Have a good day Patsy. I will be leaving before the daily list updates.. I will be back later though and will be glad to posts any splits if someone else hasn't.
Take care
I have a question about OPHD or any other stock similar to this situation.. If you have to buy in 3 days prior to the Record date to get the dividend then when can you sell and still receive the shares?
Since I was on record as of yesterday if I wanted to sell today could I?
Just trying to clarify all of this.. I don't want to sell to early. And when it comes to OPHD I would like to see what happens to the price after the merger.
TIA
Larry
These dates have been very confusing.. But my broker told me the same thing that yours said.
Good luck to you Ammobox...
Ammobox, Was that you buying into OPHD? Someone purchased a 1000 shares..
I hope that the market can go up from here.. But I won't bet on it yet..
I was telling a friend yesterday about how this week last year seemed to be a high for a lot of stocks.. Now a year later it makes the lows for many of the same stocks..
I picked QKKA last monthto do well.. Ha Ha... I am just glad that I did not buy in.. Doesn't matter, I've lost plenty of money in other stocks.
I have a lot of problems listening to myself when it comes to trading.. I end up kicking myself quite a bit..LOL
Hey Michael sorry to read that you got stuck in GNLB...
Good morning Michael, DMNX :( I do understand how a lot of people have been burnt with some of these forward split plays and don't want to get burnt again.. We have all been there..
And checking for insider selling is very important.
Larry
I agree Patsy.. eom
Patsy, It seems that the split plays that we have been in have done better when there weren't that many investors in them.. HDVG was our last example of that.. I look at OPHD and the other split plays that we have done well with and can't believe that more people wouldn't want to get in.. OPHD: We're getting free money and IMO the price should be higher than it is now after the Reverse Merger...
Larry
I saw a link on the Google search page for HEMOXymed that had the Paris info..
I did receive the e-mails from Ammobox.. Thanks.. Quite a bit of info :) And it all looks good.....
Larry
Good morning Patsy and all...eom
Ammobox, Thanks for the info on OPHD. And I'm glad to see that you are posting here. I know that you found a couple split plays for us awhile back.. I could be wrong, but I thought that you were the one who found RCVR/ESYG.. I made some good money on that play... We do have a great group here..
Could you or someone else please send me the e-mail on OPHD that you sent Patsy and Michael... I'm still at work so I won't be able to check my e-mail until tomorrow.. But, I guess you could just send it on the IHUB under private message.. TIA
Larry
