JP: Takes a little bit of #1 and #2. One can't do everything alone. A farmer can't make the veggies grow, he can only plow the field and sow the seed. The rest is out of his hands.
BTW, why no response to my email(s)? Just curious. A courtesy reply would've been nice, that's all.

beacon27: It was a simple statement like "it takes money to make money" that finally got APD to show himself and his position regarding NEOM.
My post the other day stating he's "not that bad" had nothing to do w/ his personal attacks on this boards moderators. That was uncalled for, just as much as I suppose he though the posts directed towards him were uncalled for.
I guess him and I just finally came to some sort of understanding. I see now where he sits regarding NEOM and it's not NEOM per-say but rather his basic opinion of all BB's in general. That's why I say reading his posts sometimes reminds me of listening to Jim Cramer.
I think sometimes the "stress" of these boards just gets to people, especially when we see red day in and day out. That's been plainly evident here as of late.
I myself have hit "Cancel" on many a post here recently. Sometimes just writing out thoughts/feeling in a post and not sending it is enough to calm one down and can aid in helping to "heal" the board in general, in the long haul.
JMHO.
jonesieatl: Yup, "been there done that". DOH! EOM
1stN: Fluff PR's don't add to the bottom line. It's all about numbers and PPS isn't the only one.
kgoodrich: Thank You for stating and showing that through your proofs and sharing your experiences. I've seen for a long time now that 401K's, Mutual Funds, CD's, IRA's, are as you describe. Trying to explain that too others though has been nearly impossible because I have't had the funds enough nor built the knowledge base up well enough to prove it to myself first what I knew/know to be true. I sincerely Thank You for your assistance in this area.
Through my current investment here, the assistance of folks like you, jonesie, glassy, chartist1 and other "local" TA "guru's", my Faith and the "guts" I've been given, I'll have the opportunity to "prove" to myself and assist others in the future in seeing too that there is a better way to invest...and it ain't by turning a blind eye and leaving it up to someone who makes a living off commissions.
God Bless you and everyone else here.

OT: Been to APD's "Pump and Dump" site lately? He's not that bad. He hates BB stocks (sounds like listening to Cramer) and we'll need to all help keep him at his word here...

LET'S GO N E O M ! ! ! :)
OT: Wow, "Hang in there", hangdog! I know how those old injuries just never go away. I've had my share for me plus a few others! My body feels 20 years older than it should. I guess that's why I appreciated the "YouGotOwned" video SOG posted up a few times. I can watch it 10 times in a row and be in tears every time (laughing). I guess it's easy to laugh at when you've been on the other side so often as me. :/
Funny you mention OC, MD. I'm originally from MD. We affectionately refer to it as "Ocean Shi_ty, MD". Va. Beach is much nicer. Have family down there too. What a difference being on the south side of the mouth of the Chesapeake makes to the temp. difference in the water. It's gotta be at least 5-7 degrees.
Hope that check clears soon!

OT DD: After reading this article, I think this will soon enough be implemented here in the U.S. (auto-ID). After hearing about the new massive, over-the-top "Transportation Bill" that just got passed, the obvious question is "How are "we" going to pay for it?...What new taxes are we going to have to swallow?"
Well, after hearing discussion on it, apparently now our elected leaders (both branches) think it's perfectly OK to start putting TOLLS on our nation's interstates? Huh? That used to be ILLEGAL! Aren't those roads already paid for? Just like the damn bridges and tunnel tolls that never seem to go-away, even though they are always promised to at the beginning of the "project".
My obvious question after hearing that was, "How are they going to do that w/o slowing down traffic?" Even to go through a current EZPASS toll you have to slow down to 30mph. But now, w/ Auto-ID (RFID), it's no intrusion at all. They'll be able to pick-pocket us at 70mph!
Pretty soon we're going to pay a toll just to breath! Paying the employees of the EPA ain't cheap, you know. I can see it now...emebedded RFID chips in our bodies that can gauge how much air we breath. We get charged for every liter of oxygen consumed. Automatically deducted from our bank account through our RFID linked cellphones which will be linked to our bank accounts. Oi vey!

APD: You know I'm gonna do my best to stick you to that, don't you? You may want to make sure you have plenty of BBQ sauce to go along w/ those! LOL!!!
To help me out, I think I'll refer this post here to my fellow longs. :)
You're alright, APD.
hangdog: Wish I had a condo to sell! lol! EOM
kokonut: I didn't notice the .net in that string, just NEOMEDIA. Yeah, must be a pretty popular name. lns
kokonut: Huh? Xobile...yeah, not "work safe". aztreedoc's link went to Yahoo! though. "Work safe" on my end. Interesting though the "connection". I like it.
All that practice digging up trees is paying off for aztreedoc. lol! Thanx, lns
aztreedoc: Now THAT ONE worked for me. Interesting, it goes directly to Yahoo! hmmmmmm.....
APD: Semantics...making money, producing revenue, generating gross profit. Yes, they aren't "net" profitable yet, but in due time I do believe you will see that turn around.
Maybe when they do you'll change your mind about them.
RonMexico: Interesting scenario. EOM
cjzak: To backup what Steelers_Fan replied to you, I just posted this a short bit ago in reference to the same question (sort of)...

APD: They aren't in development stage anymore. You know that, right? I think alynnb incorrectly stated that. They are past that and are now in the sales/marketing stage. Oh, and starting to make money too.
You know that companies still in the development stage have not progressed to the point of making revenue w/ their "product".
martyMAC: BSD isn't planned by NeoMedia to "manage" PC. I do believe though that it's their ownership of Triton Global Communications Inc. that NeoMedia is after here to "manage" the billing side of PC and WR.

Also, I'm not sure what BSD Software site you went to, but I don't think this is the same entity here...

APD: In what filing do you see NeoMedia still referred to as a "Developmental Stage" company? TIA, lns
SWAGTA: chartist1, speaking of repeating patterns, on this "tight" look at the Aroon and ADX. In this look, when the -DI (ADX) got to 60, what happened next? Where are the up/down Aroon lines when this occured? Just observing...

OT: seeclear, isn't that "flies"? lol! EOM
OT: Zacked: Simply observe the "OT" or "DD" he places in front of many of his posts and as soon as you see one (or both) of those, simply move onto the next post.
Don't even bother reading it.
One thing that nobody can argue w/ is the fact that SOG adds a lot to anyboard he posts on and he almost always tries to respect the "OT" or "DD" designations precisely so that those that don't want to read or consider it "clutter" can again, simply move onto the next post.
lns
kokonut: What can I say? I enjoy engaging sometimes. I've been over there a few times since he started that board.
Follow this thread back to the original post and you'll see what I mean...if that wasn't clearly obvious before. lol!
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=7448219
Last time he came here at the end of June it was RIGHT before the Virgin settlement news came out. Coincidence??? :)
APD: OK, at least I see clearly now where you come from. You think all OTC:BB stocks are scams and will never amount to anything.
Hmmmm, related to Jim Cramer by any chance? lol!!
Regarding Mobot, I've written this on the I-hub board...I compare it to when Ciena bought Lightera in 1999. They got them at a HUGE discount just months before start-up optical companies started to go for outrageous premiums (Xros to Nortel for over 2BB!). Ciena aquired Lightera, who was not making a profit and was a small company, for only 500MM. They turned their OEO switch into Ciena's CoreDirector which became hugely profitable for them and is still turning an nice penny for them. It's heralded as one of the industries still best OEO switches for long-haul fiber-optic telecommunications. BTW, if you didn't know, Nortel killed the OOO (Xros) side of their business earlier this year. THAT was a HUGE waste of money. There's something to be said about getting in the game early.
Alas, that was then there, this is now here. Time will tell.
Thanx for the advice.
lns
APD: Likewise, with all due respect, your posts only ever seem to harp on the negatives as though there are no positives at all to be found.
It's a penny stock. They're all as you describe. That's the name of the game...get in BEFORE it's glaringly obvious that a company is on the road to realized profits.
You're talking about "over the long haul". I'd say here that NEOM is only now on the verge of getting their "products to market". That makes the "long haul" a long way away.
If you want to wait that long here before you decide, so be it. Others though, like myself, have read all we can and we see something real here.
So does Mobot, BTW. Why do you think they're teaming up w/ NEOM? Doing NEOM a favor? Feel sorry for NEOM and their investors and are joining just to make NEOM look halfway decent? Or, do you think that NEOM bullied them somehow to agree to be boughtout? Or, do you think that what Mobot has is, IYO, just as false a "story" as what NEOM has to offer?
http://www.telecomweb.com/news/1123011293.htm
Please explain to me and others here (and on the NEOM board) how NeoMedia's "story" is fundamentally disconnected from reality?
The outward appearance of your posts is that of a concerned individual looking out for fellow investors however if one takes the time to "read between the lines" they find a person who is doing their best to tarnish the integrity of a publicy traded company and it's officers to the hopeful detriment of current and future shareholders. JIMHO. lns
Zacked: It's not in real-time, but still one of the coolest things I've seen on the web. Looks like most shots were taken in the fall since all the leaves are off the trees and no snow is around yet.
Funny, here in "fly-over America" they obviously didn't care as much about getting close-up like elsewhere. I can barely make out the town I live in (see the huge lake nearby though). My hometown and folks house though on the East Coast...clear as day. Can practically see the seats inside stadiums too. Amazing. Notice the security too...can't see diddly in DC.
ss9173: I'd say, why sell off a profitable business? I do believe though that they need, or better stated, see the great benefit of keeping that necessary part of doing business in-house when looking at the long term benefit of doing so. Oh, yeah, watching this whole thing unfold will indeed be interesting to see and be a part of.
Regarding what JP stated of things to do to help "ourselves" out by helping NeoMedia out when/where we can, a few months ago I touched the surface where I work, of using m-commerce and "this type" of technology ;) for part of our marketing stategy. Of course, nobody knew what I was talking about..."m-commerce???".
Brought it up ealier this week in an offline (lol!) meeting. Plan on calling NeoMedia in the near future to inquire. It would be pretty neat to help bring them in for our company to be one "early adopters" in this medium. We'll see what happens. Time will tell.
lns
kokonut: mmm, like that Campbell's! EOM
ss9173: Glad to see we're on the same wavelength. I hadn't gotten to your post here yet. lol! :) lns
OT: Drmyke, Thanx for the 'DD:' ;)
BSD Software's last 10Q is a good read. May the reason for the hold-up of this merger be the last 10% of Triton?
From BSD last 10Q:
"BSD Software, Inc. (the "Company") entered into a Share Exchange Agreement (the "Agreement") dated October 23, 2002 with Triton Global Business Services, Inc. ("TGBSI") and four stockholders of TGBSI, who owned approximately 90% of the issued and outstanding shares (the "TGBSI Shareholders")."
"The Company will seek to acquire the remaining TGBSI common shares as soon as is practical."

chartist1: That would be great. Anything additional to help learn a bit more in this area would beneficial to all. I've learned that everybody looks at the charts slightly different (ex.: log vs. linear charting) and hearing the different points of view on it is very interesting. It would be much appreciated here. lns
