Those cautioning us investors about 'M The Movement' should notify Podium Lounge as well before their festivities are ruined...
All 3 nights will see Daniel Jones of Savage Garden on stage, together with singer Kathleen de Leon of Hi-5 and rising Singaporean star Maya Davidov - who'll be rocking the high octane party following the track-side thrills and spills on the Marina Bay Street Circuit.
The dazzling nightly Fashion Circuit returns to The Podium Lounge runway - curated by LA celebrity fashion designer 'M' of luxury streetwear brand 'M The Movement', and guests will be thrilled by the spectacular Neo-Pop Showcase "Go Go Go' by Danish-American Celebrity Artist Jan Larsen celebrating the Grand Prix Season Singapore - as well as the aerialist, grid girl and angel performances.
Amen, Retro!
Definitely, Z! The Place to be noticed, for sure...
I hear that, Col!
Funny how some think they know how long this process is supposed to take. I mean, considering full scale mass production of Spider Silk has never been done before, how can anyone know?
But, yet, the CEO should do this. The CEO should do that. Yeah, it's easy sitting behind a keyboard making those suggestions.
Many have tried before. Many have failed. I appreciate the fact our CEO is doing things his own way. Obviously there is no successful path before him to emulate. He's forced to blaze his own trail.
13-14 years from Mr. T's concept to actuality is infinitesimal compared to the thousands of years humans have attempted to sustain the Holy Grail. In the end, all that will matter is MASS PRODUCTION AND MASS COMMERCIALIZATION of Spider Silk. IMO, KBLB will be the first to accomplish this.
One non-controlling share owns the company. LOL.
Great session!
In your scenario, a person owning one share owns the company?
I'm not trying to change any scenario. I'm simply pointing out that what you deem as ownership really amounts to nothing.
And with KBLB, as you have pointed out over and over again, MR. T has controlling shares. So, as I've pointed out over and over again, HE OWNS THE COMPANY! Until even Warren Buffet buys him out, THAT IS THE FACT!
Now you want to invoke Warren Buffet. LOL.
You don't have Warren Buffet "powers," though. And that's what you were implying at the beginning of this thread. That YOU were an owner of the company. And, by somehow uniting others on this message board in OWNERSHIP of KBLB that actually meant something. IT DOES NOT.
Nice try, though.
You are a shareholder. Accumulate to the point that you can invoke your own powers on the company and you might have something with what you were trying to imply. But, with KBLB, as you have pointed out over and over again, MR. T has controlling shares. So, as I've pointed out over and over again, HE OWNS THE COMPANY! Until even Warren Buffet buys him out, THAT IS THE FACT!
Generic definitions aside, the REALITY of stock "ownership" is as follows:
Shareholders own shares and not the company. Try to impose "ownership" in whatever manner one likes, but, in reality, the only thing a shareholder can actually exercise with that "ownership" is their right to buy or sell their own shares.
In other words, they don't actually own the company.
They do not own its assets, cannot personally access them or use them.
They have powers to appoint directors but cannot direct them to use any particular business strategy.
They cannot force directors to pay a dividend, or demand a higher one.
They cannot demand to see a company’s books, or personally audit them.
They can sit back and receive dividends, but are not responsible for the harmful use of the resources generating those dividends.
At best, share ownership results in a very weak notion of ownership, but not sufficient to direct, control the company, its directors, assets or liabilities.
They can sell their shares to another party and can transfer or bequeath shares to successors, subject to the taxation laws of the country. The share certificates have some value, as long as the company is solvent. But that`s it: a speculative commodity not a control.
Directors of a company can sell the assets held by the company, but shareholders do not have rights to receive the proceeds. Shareholders do have a residual interest in the event of bankruptcy, assuming that the assets have been sold to satisfy the prior claims of secured and unsecured creditors.
THESE ARE THE FACTS FOR SHAREHOLDERS:
Shareholders DO NOT own the company.
And, if you don't like to hear any of the above, your recourse, should the company not abide by your wishes, is to challenge the actions of the company in court. But a little something called the "Business Judgment Rule" will most likely result in NO REMEDY.
So, what exactly is this ownership shareholders speak of?
All we own is a certificate that allows us to sell stock of said company. I, personally, have never seen this certificate but know I can sell my "shares" when I choose to. Which won't be quite a while. I'm ok with that. My investment is in the Company and it's owner, Mr. Kim K Thompson.
I guess your assumptions trump everyone else's. Nope, my money is still with the owner of KBLB. Who happens to be Mr. T. Thanks for the constant reminders.
Apparently there was a reason. That's why it was done. You may not like the reason, but, oh well, the company's owner has the ultimate say. He must know where this is going. See what you can do about getting the inside scoop on things. That's about the only way to ease the "not knowing."
Maybe the new hire didn't want the publicity so the company did the right thing and released the information about the company move without divulging the individual's identity.
Just because we want the information doesn't mean there isn't a legitimate reason for not releasing it. I applaud the move if it is indeed to protect the employee's rights to privacy.
"How poor are they that have not patience!
What wound did ever heal but by degrees?
Thou know'st we work by wit, and not by witchcraft;
And wit depends on dilatory time."
KB, my DD dead-ended. Not the person I was researching.
I won't speculate further but my DD does not point to Yale, KB. But we are Golden!
If it is who I think it is, definitely a Class Act! Her life's journey definitely blends well with KBLB's. Welcome addition to the KBLB Team!
Congrats KBLB!
I'm obviously not confused at all. Last I checked, the only thing I own are paper/electronic rights to sell my shares of the company Mr. T owns. I thank him all the time for the privilege to partake in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to invest in HIS company. The one he founded and continues to control until HE CHOOSES not to anymore. Man, I wish I was in his position!
But, my shares are the best I can do to support this monumental effort to become the first to Mass Produce and Mass Commercialize Spider Silk. That investment will be greatly rewarded!
Thank you, Mr. T!
That's a lot to say to prove what I said..."Mr. T will let us know if/when it's required."
Like it or not, it is HIS company. Everyone knows their options: buy or sell.
And some of us choose to keep our money invested in the Genius who founded, runs, and sustains KBLB.
Others help us confirm Mr. T's genius qualities daily.
Thank you to those others and to Mr. T for being a GENIUS!
Without HIM none of us would have this opportunity of a Lifetime!
Let's not forget Vietnam has A LOT riding on KBLB:
From the article Lebbe posted on 7-16-19 (article is dated 7-12-19)...
Bottom Line with KBLB=SUSTAINABILITY.
They just transitioned from a "PRIMARILY R & D COMPANY" to a "Commercial Production Company" in May, per Company 10Q.
Statement was made by COO Jon Rice that Mass Production is coming Q3/Q4.
Our CEO is not wanting to let the past 13 years go to waste by hastily throwing product out the door. Sustainability requires meticulous planning with protocols, processes, and procedures that need to be followed. It's all coming. Let the man build the company the right way. WE will all reap the rewards.
"Who said the RS is nefarious?"
I'm done.
And again, it doesn't matter to me whether they RS or not. Get off this OTC and on to bigger and better things. As Hikingguy eloquently pointed out, the vetting process to uplist to a higher exchange will validate everything everybody is looking for KBLB to accomplish. Then it is full-speed ahead. Of course there will be bumps along the way. But NO COMPANY has a clear path. The Obstacles become the Way!
It doesn't bother me whether they uplist via RS or not. I'm tired of hearing about it being this nefarious thing. That's what I'm talking about.
Preach it, Hope!
I can see it plain as day.
That's why I'm so thankful for being brought along on the journey.
Thanks again, Mr. T!
And my vast experience and knowledge comes from the actual running of a company which specializes in PRODUCTION, MANUFACTURING, LOGISTICS, AND CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT/RETENTION.
And your welcome.
Yep, convinced me again...MY MONEY'S ON THE KBLB GENIUS!
Exactly, HG! Let's drive the Vette all the way to NASDAQ!
With your theorizing, the stock price rises indefinitely?
So, about now, if shareholders hadn't misinterpreted the meaning of an RS we'd be at what? Beyond Berkshire Hathaway? LOL
Wow. Talk about head-scratchers.
Rather have them get it right than wrong.
Right=Sustainable Company.
Wrong=Flash in the pan.
Right on, JE! Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity here! Scoop 'em up now or be bitter later.
OPTION. OPTION. OPTION.
Option to RS. Wow. It was stated as an Option. Not a Guarantee. Option.
Wanna hear from Kim? Call him up. Let us know what he says, please.
Do some DD is right.
FYI: Regurgitating info from someone's head non-stop does not constitute DD.
How some don't allow the process to happen is beyond me.
RELAX! We are Golden!
Oh, that's genius! Why didn't anyone else think of that...Mass Production will open all the doors.
Hey, Mr. T. STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING and start Mass producing! Lol.
What the heck is the company attempting to do?
I will say it again...
KBLB will be the first to Mass Produce and Mass Commercialize Spider Silk.
But, hey, Mr. T...STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING and tell the world what you're doing before and during your attempts to do it. LOL
He's doing it. HIS WAY. My money's on this Genius!
I'm definitely convinced now!
My money's better with this Genius than any other!
