My take on the playoffs.
As of today I don't honestly see anyone beating the Spurs out unless one of our key players like Tim, David, or Derek goes down with an injury.
As to the Blazers they should win it all but, until that group of ego's can learn to leave the ego's in the lockerroom and come to play the game they will end up losing again. At some point if Dunleavey can't control his players and Aldeman couldn't it's time to change some of the players. You could get some good players for some of the players on the Blazers now. Sheed would bring a bunch if a team knew they had a coach who could control him. Talent will take the Blazers a long way but, to win it all they need to be running smoothly like the Spurs, Mavs & Bucks are right now.
Mavs & Kings don't yet have the experience to be playing in the WCF's. So I say it'll be the Spurs & Blazers.
In the East I have to go with the Bucks who are 7-0 against the West's Top 4 teams. They give us Hell. We set all kinds of Futility Records Saturday night when they held us to 31.6% shooting for the whole game and 19.9% in the 4th quarter. They are one TUFF egg to crack!!!
Colt
Viv you and Pre are definitely Guaranteed the 1st shot. If either or both of you miss then it's a free for all. I think NYC may use AAA (Tripple A...Anti Aircraft Artillery) LOL.
Viv don't tell them Oregon boys, especially OneBgg but, your Dallas Mavs and my Spurs may play each other in the NBA Western Conference Finals. Don't tell OneBgg because he may go jump off a cliff and we don't want that. I think he and Pre need to go have a long talk with the Portland Trailblazers. They're starting to lose to teams they should 'STOMP'!
Have a good one...
Colt
Well so much for that. IH is like RB on links. I'll email it to you. It was a 30 second video of the Spurs.
Colt
OneBgg just for you...because I know you love my Spurs so much. LOL

Blazers Suspend RaSHEED Wallace for one game...
http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news/ap/20010403/ap-wallacesuspended.html
Yes Paule it's the last or next to last game and it's in Portland. Should be a good one as long as positioning in the standings by the teams is still relevant. If not then we're liable to see a game of the benches.
Colt
Paule and we'll invite Ola. Of course Viv & Pre would get the First Shot...LOL
Colt
I'd be interested in an Arizona Elk hunt myself. I wonder if any are as big as the Royals & Imperials on the Indian Reservations in New Mexico.
Let us know something when you find out matey.
Thanks,
Colt
OneBgg I agree. The problem the Spurs & Blazers have is $$$$$ as in Big TV Market. Stern & Co. want it to always be one of the Big 4. NY, LA, Chicago, & Philly. Us little cities have to work our tails off. David Robinson and Tim Duncan get the tackiest fouls called against them and then Shaq can knock one of them down hard and they get a warning for getting in Shaq's way. Shaq just breathes and he goes to the foul line. At least he can't make em. LOL
To the Blazers & Spurs playing in the WCFinals. And may the best team win...hopefully the Spurs! LOL
Colt
LOL Matt I guess it was wishful thinking on my part. But, it was flying this morning. Each message or board I clicked on flew open. It was nice. We're hanging in and when you have things up to snuff we'll be here in Full Support.

ablazerfan I understand what you are saying but, the Ref's are just tired of Sheed'a antics. If he'd back off and joke with them like the majority of NBA players do. After 10 or so times the Ref's look at Sheed like we look @ ola. It starts to wear on you. I see him in person when the Blazers play here and also on TV when we play up there. He seems to be easy for us to take him out of the flow of the game. That can hurt ya'll come playoff time. He needs to relax for 20 more games. That'll mean the Blazers go a long way in the playoffs. Then he can take out an ad in every newspaper in all the NBA cities and slam the Refs. LOL He's way too talented to waste it in the locker room because he loses control during a game.
Colt
Matt Thanks...you must have got it fixed over night. This site is flying now. Glad you fed the mice and greased the rubber bands. Now this baby can move forward. Time for us to start spreading the word and get some eyeballs over here. Appreciate all you've done.
Colt
The Blazers have the wrong Dunleavy on their team. They would be better off with the coach's son. What a game by him tonight. Maybe the Spurs can get him instead. LOL
Colt
Viv I think those $1000 haircuts were reserved for the Prima Donna's in the NBA. Those High School kids playing in the NBA making $5+ Million per season.
Thinking about you and your daughter. Hope all goes well.
Colt
Do The Dew Commercial during the NCAA Finals tonight. The Rocky Mountain Big Horn & the blonde headed kid butting heads. Talk about Hard Headed.....
Colt
Happy Birthday Mrs. OneBgg & Premier! many more to come we hope!
Colt
OneBgg do you have to keep bringing them up. I'm trying to forget those pesky Kings. LOL Yeah, they could end up Representing the West. That I don't like.
Colt
OneBgg & ablazerfan...

Colt
Hi Viv I know that's you so I'll talk. LOL Yes I'm a Big BB Fan. My Spurs are going to win it all again this year, no matter what OneBgg and Premier and ablazerfan say. Actually I like the Mavericks too. They will give the Spurs their hardest competition.
Your daughter knows she can charge these NBA players $1000 per cut doesn't she?
Hope Matt can get this board straightened out today with the ISP #'s.
Going to go check the Turkey population down @ the creek. I think one of our Turkeys got loose on this board the past few days. Sure wasn't one of our Mature birds thats for sure. LOL
The Fakers are Toast!!! Colt
Thanks OneBgg. The Alamodome is kind of large. Be nice to get back into a pure BB Arena like we had with Hemisfair Arena. Used to be the Loudest Arena in the NBA. The Decibel Meter was on the overhead scoreboard and it stayed in the 110-125 range. Burst your eardrum type noise.
Colt
Actually ablazerfan our best Defensive player is Sean Elliott. We really have felt it with him being out so much with Kidney Transplant and then shoulder seperation earlier this year. He has a history of shutting down guys like Scottie Pippen, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, Jerry Stackhouse, etc. The only one he hasn't played against is Allen Iverson. I don't know if anyone can stop Michael Jordan Jr. He's going to get his 30 points no matter what.
But, you're right about our interior 'D'. David & Tim do create problems for teams. The Blazers ain't bad themselves. Man your team is all arms. It looks like every Blazer has arms that are 6' long. So many 6'10-6'11 guys on your team creates problems for any team. The key for the Blazers is Chemistry. They need to leave all those Ego's at the door and just play basketball. If they do that they could win the NBA Title.
Colt
Yep! LOL eom...Colt
Sorry 'ablazerfan'! LOL Having the best record in the West and winning the NBA Championship are 2 different things...both of which the Spurs will attain. We got the poor shooting out of our system last night shooting 26.1% in the 3rd period and 20% in the 4th period and 31.6 for the whole game and scoring a low of 77 points. Thank God that's over with...I hope! LOL
What happened tonight with the T'Wolves? Sheed got his 39th & 40th Technicals breaking his own NBA 'T' Record. Someone better talk to that boy or he's going to destroy the Blazers.
Go Spurs GO!
Colt
NYC you better call in Wild Bill Hickok or Wyatt Earp and get this board under control. Don't you have the right & ability to boot children under 9 years of age out? It's really a shame that the world has a few men who never grow up. ManChild is what they use to refer to a young man who's bigger than his age in either the physical, mental, or emotional aspect's. However, what we have on this board is a 'ChildishMan'.
A good joke or prank that harms no one is great. Many laughs can be had and friendships made. But, when one continues his childish ways and takes it to the limit then you have a 'Mental Case'! His pranks have gotten old. Let me know when the board is back under control. Lots of nice folk here and it's a shame one or two pranksters has to ruin it for everyone.
I'm sure Matt knows who the culprit is so hopefully he'll boot him come Monday. I'll check back in from time to time to see if things are back to normal. It would be nice to know who we're actually posting to.
Later my friend,
Colt
You have a mouse in your pocket? Or do you just acknowledge the fact that you have a Multiple Personality Disorder? LOL
OK Judd, take Ola & his mouse out behind the barn...farms do have barns don't they? :>)
Colt
Why doesn't Judd just take that Moron out behind the barn and Kick the Beejeebers out of him? Or Kick the Living Daylights out of him? Or Kick the Schittt out of him? Or is Judd's farm a Mental Institution for the Juvenile Mentally Retarted?
Why do some grown men have to act like they're 6 going on 4 ?
Now if Matt will just feed the mice on the treadmill and crack the whip, maybe this site can get up to speed. It's so excruciatingly sloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!
Now it's out of my system.
Rock On SPURS!
Colt
I think the Lakers are finished. Too much disaray to get it together now. The team is going to have to deal with the Kobe/Shaq thing and get a 3rd scoring option for next year.
Colt
This board reminds me of Abbott & Costello's Famous Routine "Who's On First"!
http://fanatic.terrashare.com//abbott/abbott.html
Have a good day all, whoever you are. LOL
Go SPURS!!!
Colt
Uuuughhh, NBA Fans...Turn Out The Lights, The Party's Over! Just got home from the game tonight and the SPURS Smoked Em! The Jazz never knew what hit them. We were up by 24 in the 2nd. Quarter. We had 67 points at Halftime. The Spurs are Smoking Red Hot. Playing Exactly like they did in the 1999 Championship year. Awsome Defense and Offense!
See you Portland boys in the Western Conference Finals. Just remember to bring along your Cryin' Towel's. And lot's of beer. LOL
Spurs 51-21
Sixers 49-22
Kings 47-22
Jazz 47-24
Blazers 46-24
Colt
Paule you are correct. OK, then Blazers in 5. LOL Colt
OneBgg don't forget the Mavs. Man they are playing good basketball. They give us fits. They are like Portland in that they have all those 6'10" - 7' guys who can shoot the 3. The only thing they lack that will probably hurt them is experience. Nobody could have beaten them when the Blazers played them the way they were popping baskets from all over the place. It looked like 5 Larry Bird's shooting long range.
Colt
OneBgg isn't that the truth. All 3 added up still don't come close to the number of people NY, LA, & Chicago have to draw from. Same goes for the other large cities. The NBA knows it too. When we were voting to build a new arena last year there were scare tactics used by some that the Spurs would move elsewhere if we didn't pass the arena issue. David Stern came down here and told San Antonio that the Spurs and their fans were way too valuable to the NBA for him to let them move. He was ready to step in if needed. Thank God we passed it overwhelmingly and didn't need him to step in. Now we need an NFL team for the Alamodome. LOL
Colt
Thanks Husker. Some people are just unhappy Souls. Colt
OneBgg I can deal with sboggs as he is about the only Anti that shows some common sense. He even admits his wife shoots and is a good shot. As for CM & FD, both don't seem to have any sense at all. I notice that FD goes around making childish attacking posts on other boards. I have NO respect for him or her, whichever it is. CM just doesn't have it period. Bioman...never paid any attention to him. Those three remind me of that jacknorth guy on the Gov & Elect boards...no common sense and no argument except to post the same stuff over and over wishing something will stick.
sboggs came over here and registered which is good. I enjoy a good argument as long as new ideas are created and is done in a manner opposite of the typical Yahoo'er. sboggs seems polite enough and he and I have traded some tongue in cheek posts. Nothing personal, just have some fun once in a while. I doubt too that the other 3 will show up over here. If they take the RB board over we can just place a come on over here post everyday. They'll either show up or end up arguing with themselves.
About the speed of Investorshub, yes it's slower than frozen oil. I hope it gets corrected soon or everyone will end up elsewhere. I presently make long distance phone calls to Saudia Arabia in between opening up posts. LOL Not quite that bad but, it is slow.
Colt
OneBgg I am thinking basically the same thing. It looks like the Blazers & Fakers will meet in the 1st round and I have the Blazers in 6. The Kings are a much better team than most expected. They'll be tough for any team. The Spurs & Blazers have one advantage over them which could be huge...late round playoff experience. It's going to be exciting. I've never seen the league, both East & West so balanced. Most of the series will probably go the distance. Luck to your Blazers until they play my Spurs in the WCF! LOL
Until the Fat Lady Sings.....
Colt
OneBgg...
You going to move the RB Barms board over here after Matt feeds the mice on the treadmill? We may all need to chip in and buy the mice some cheeze. It's really getting slow here.
People are leaving RB in droves. Jumping around the boards I see where many boards are moving to SI &/or MF. RB has really gone down hill fast. Why in the world would Lycos buy RB and just let RB go to the dogs? Makes no sense. Matt said he'll have this place up to speed soon.
Colt
And make sure the Blazers don't have to face the Spurs! LOL
