You have to love this board.......
Misterbull, just a comment "there is no trust available for this company or management". A more correct statement would of been very little trust because someone is buying shares at this prices. As far as the company and management will not be ok, not a true statement, there is a very good possibility that this company just might be ok, only time will time. As far as the management, they need help I'll admit that but I'll say this again, with the current ongoing investigation the company is heading in the right direction. IMO
Maybe Tom, maybe the MM's are testing the morning market.
I haven't seen or heard anything, anybody ?
No, I think alot of people are here, just caught by surprise by the up-ticks.........lol
Janice, with the financial audit we will know what the SLJB Nevada Corp has as far as assets (how can this be bad?). I've been waiting for that information for a while. IMO it will state for the record that the Nevada Corp owns the Canadian Corp. If this is true and I believe it is, we own the stores. Now that isn't a billion dollar business but it's an operating business to say the least. If the audit is a huge disappointment, at least it's transparent and if the company provides verifiable signed business contacts like the cement deals........ this will go north and this will be a profitable investment.
Is this not a good time to buy in at this time?
Rookeeper, you have to agree if the financial audit is taking place and it is, SLJB only has one direction to go. Why not invest at this time? Playing pinkies and making money as you stated before and having made money off SLJB as you have also stated. Why not buy back in again? When the PR's come out and they will this will hit .02 very easily and you can more than double your money? IMO
Yank, Nice to see you're surviving your recent loss. At least you have the beachfront home. If this thing doesn't turn around a little, forget the home, I'll be on the street with my socks, only they won't be stuffed........lol
Yank, with all the money currently invested in SLJB, I'm lucky my wife let's me come home at night......lol
As far as the stuffing the sock with additional monies, I can't, wife put herself in charge of the finances now....... (I still can't figure that one out)
But I do promise to ask her in a couple of weeks. Now not the best time, if you know what I mean.
Good luck to you
Yank, very good question....... but correct me if I'm wrong, there are a lot of crooks in a lot of businesses.... are there not.
They will find companies trust me......
On the educated man part; your right no one should. It all depends on the position you have in the stock. When this saga ends and if I have any money left I'm put some a way in a sock or did you mean stock?
Amen brother.......
Yes, I'm painfully aware of the situation. I believe the company will continue to trade after the investigation. IMO
There will be fines but the company will make it through and continue on. Is the company some what tainted from recent past events, yes. Can it get past it? I think they can, IF they sign a few contracts, especially the cement ones...... it goes north. Regardless of past events people follow the money train. I'm not saying that this will be the ride of a life time but it should gradually continue to rise.
Do I have factual information on any of this? No
It's just my humble opinion
Tom, some dreams come true but one needs to be patient.
Misterbull, forget the 1-800 lawyers hotline (we don't need no sinking lawyers), we have the audit in progress and the company for what ever reason (possible the investigation?) is changing course in a far more positive direction. We have a long way to go but the atmosphere surrounding SLJB is changing for the better. Even the most opomistic person has to agree on that.
Might not be a bad time to jump onboard bull.
I hope there is still a litle room for humor on this board......
The shareholders meeting is scheduled for the 24th of March. Didn't you get that PR? Rook, Airys wanted to hold it at his house but the company insisted that within the last couple of months they have managed to accumulate additional funds and insisted on hosting the meeting them selfs.......lol
Still long and holding
Marketman are you sure about your closing remarks "you should turn into a basher, i swear your IQ goes up"........just kidding
Most everyone realizes the need for the American Corp audit and I'm sure their is a plan for it.
The lumberyard audit is part of an official audit isn't it?
(I wasn't real impressed with the lumberland either) I bought in to the big picture....... Middle east and cement as did most.
Shares from SLJB/NV This is just my opinion but we will see all assets from SLJB Canada rolled into Nevada. The investigation is helping my case.
Are we to be inform of the audit results via treehouse message board? For everyone's sake I hope not.....lol
I'm sure we'll get an official statement from the company on the audit in the near future
All of the above is just my opinion
FraudStopper, That's about the third or fourth time today someone has posted the same message. I'm sure your intentions are good and you reflected that in your comments but what about if it is true. It's certainly very positive information and information that can and I'm sure will be verified within the next few day. But damn, we get alittle good info and their are people in here trying to slam it, why?
Very few people are pumping the stock right now, most are content to see something positive, which this is.
SLJB motives for doing the audit should be looked at:
1. Are they trying to do the right thing; for the company and the shareholders?
2. Are they trying to cover their a**? maybe
3. Are they trying to do both?
I believe #3 and I believe that the audit has been accepted. Either way, we're a little better off then we were yesterday if you are a stockholder.
Are we out of the woods yet? No
But we just stepped in the right direction. Best news we had in weeks....... don't rain on the parade today my friend.
Don't believe in the stock, don't buy
Lost money and sold? You could get back in, it's an option
As I have been told by many here........find another (better) stock to invest in.
Like it or not, today is a very positive day for the stock.
Thank you Jim, appreciate your take.
Jim, In your opinion will SLJB continue to trade after 23 March?
The SEC hasn't halted trade yet, why?
You seem like a smart guy and I'd like your take. I always like to hear from both sides. I'm long and have spoken to a lot of the longs........ and it's quite obvious what my positive perpective on the situation is.
I have
1. my hard earned dollar investment at risk
2. no substantiated proof that this is a scam and the SEC hasn't halted trading to date
3. All we have is the allegations at this point.
Now some might be true......... all of them? I don't think so
That's all we have to go by, there really is no other forth coming info.
Jim Bishop, I read your posts and wanted to ask you your take on the future od SLJB. I still hold, never had a chance to sell when the bottom fell in November and based off my initial dollar investment I believed that it was in my best interest to hold and I have.
I've read almost everything thats been written on this board since November. I continue to read, illegal manipulation IMO has occured. Will the stock continue to trade after the investigation is the question. Many say yes and many no. I believe that we have at least a 50/50 chance (that's conservative from my point)that it does. If it does and trades continue and future deals are signed, why can't this stock recovery? At least to some extent.
Coach, you out there?
No way Coach, way to much invested at this point. I believe we can plug the holes in this sinking ship and let it get back on course....... if I'm wrong, you can tell me so and I'll be in the poor house for awhile. If I'm write I'll send you a little check to help you out in your other investment.
Guess who..............lol
Jannie, I thought my comeback was pretty funny..... it didn't even give you a cuckle?
I heard through the grape vine, does that count?
Mass, One more thing...... do not take what I wrote as a direct attack. Your opinion is your opinion and I read what you write.
I wish for better times and I see the board settling and a little more civil. Which is a good thing.
You have a good weekend........ see you on Monday...
Mass, you ask me why should anybody be quiet about sociopaths ripping off investors?
everyone has the right freedom of speech)
I'll tell you why you don't need to(IMO), I believe you stated many times your opinion and beliefs about the company. You stated it and we've read it. Let's move on....... if you have factual knowledge of any information post it, I'll read it. Your entitled to your opinion....... we only need to read it once.
Not attacking, just posting it as I see it
Mr GoodBuddy, Very nice civil post, I appeciate that
My appraisal of the situation, a lot of smoke and mirrors on this one, illegal activity absolutely, who and how many is the question. One that can't be answered by any of us at this time. We'll have to wait for the results of the investigation and even then I don't think we'll ever really know for sure. Do I think SLJB can get through the investigation and continue as a company, yes I do, we haven't seen the SEC step in and halt trading nor will they as long as SLJB abides with what they have told them to do IMO.
All of what I'm saying is already been said. Am I pissed about the whole situation.......yes, who isn't......lol
I'm long and I await the results for the investigation, I'll remain positive with little or no new information until the 23rd of March and maybe longer. I will tell you that I am going to average down as much as I can afford and when the pps hits my pps average I immediately sell at least half of my shares and get back alittle of my investment. I'll let the rest ride and let SLJB try to prove it's commitment to it's new body of shareholders (tough to swallow) but will.
That's a difficult task to do, based off their track record but if the company has deals (verifiable) and is making money. People will buy back in, money is money and greed is greed.
It was greed that got me into this situation in the first place.
Either way it has been a valuable lession, Can't say expensive at this time because it hasn't been determined just yet.
Marketman,Jannie,Mr GoodBuddy....... where is that SLJB spirit?
What's wrong with a few longs, trying to stay positive?
I'm pretty sure that the money you lost doesn't compare with most longs that are still holding. Not asking you to support the cause, just tone down the constant negativity. There really isn't very much volumn, so I think it's pretty safe to say that there are no newbies that aren't informed of the past history of SLJB.
What do you think?
InvestorOtter, I'm with you 100%, the crew is out in just about full force today. Patience is the key here. Keep the faith
Jannie, I just caught the last art of your message (ps part). I don't pass information from one board to another. I'm not playing games and don't play people. I'm just trying to get as much information as possible and try to make sound decisions with my investments. Some times you learn the hard way or at the very least take the long road. I'm holding (the long road) in hopes that the company comes clean and if there was illegal manipulation by people inside the company buy all means I want them punished.
I'm not on any ones side, I just choose to be positive and await the decisions of the ongoing investigations.
Jannie, My point is if this stock is dead, why purchase shares?
Do you think that there is still life in the stock? Your actions say yes? I've only posted a couple of times, I do read the board daily. A lot of your posts are very informative and you sure seem to know the law and it seems to me you do your own homework. I'm not attacking you and hope you don't see it that way. So why the purchase?
I'm long and holding and will wait to see the outcome. I'd like to know what your opinion for the future of the stock is.
Janniebgood, didn't I read a post where you said you bought some shares recently? I could be wrong but I'd like to ask you if you own any shares at this time? just curious
Thanks 7......... I like to keep in touch, coach bailed after heavy losses and I'm in about the same position as he was
Reference to Airys, Like some of you I bought in a few weeks before the A/F's were to come out (date soon), a few weeks or so before the date certain (Nov 15,16). I read everyday and really tryed to digest as much of the information that I could but I didn't do the DD that I should have and only focused on the greed factor (my fault). After the fall, I average down like most people that had hope and a still had some until yesterday. I lost a substantial amount of money and hold mostly myself responsible. In saying that, It looks like we were lied too on just about every bit of information that was PR'ed from the company and I would like to see justice because their definitely was some share and pps manipulation.
I don't know Airy's personally but believe him to be an honest true american man, he's done more for most on this board then anybody to try to get information we all wanted to hear. Things didn't turn out the way we planned, most lost money, it sucks but life goes on. I still hold all my shares (a fact and not real happy about it).
This is my first post and my last post........I just wanted to thank you Airy's personally, I appeciated your efforts.... Hog and Fish FB the same.
Snips....... you too
I'm a retired 7th SFG MSG ......
Airy's I'm holding and probably going to die with my 582K shares. I would like to stay in touch. Coach 33 is a friend and will vouch for me on the information above.
