Sounds to me like Jack Hanks identified a need for a product that is in short supply (Pilot Thomas already agreed to purchase 100% of it) and MMEX will soon be producing A LOT of it. That is a recipe for a wildly successful business.
We are only a week away from the next shareholder letter... I wonder what news may be released along with that letter?
Congressman Will Hurd is publicly stating that MMEX is building a CDU, so I’m believing the Congressman.
Mark this post: if MMEX does NOT build a CDU, I will never post here again.
I know one thing for sure: I’m adding more MMEX shares next week! With a term sheet for $49 million of the $60 million needed, and a term sheet from a buyer for 100% of the production from Phase 1, I have no doubt that this CDU is being built!
Are you saying Jack Hanks cares so much about MMEX shareholders that he is willing to risk going to jail to make sure shareholders are the first to be aware of MMEX milestones?
I agree. I wouldn’t be surprised if MMEX announces financing in the May shareholder letter (my guess is on 5/1), followed by a formal PR later in the day. MMEX has a history of making sure shareholders are the first to know when news is announced.
I’ve appreciated the opportunity to add MMEX shares in the .002s over the last couple of weeks. Looking forward to the next MMEX shareholder update, which is getting close!
It is great to hear from someone who has made multiple trips to the MMEX site and witnessed the progress being made. Appreciate your efforts and insight sitruc!

While some have been busy watching South Park, “Mad J” has been achieving MMEX milestone after milestone and soon will be building the first CDU in 47 years.
Same here. I appreciated the .0026s this morning!
Could explain why BMIC was so aggressive the last couple of weeks. Perhaps they wanted to be finished by tomorrow.
Well I’m a MMEX long who is happy to have a lot more shares because the price dropped before milestone #33
Uh-oh... a Congressman with the power to get federal funding allocated to make up the remainder needed after the $49M in financing already committed... said MMEX is going to be the first new CDU built in 47 years... that’s not good jm, that’s not good...
I think I see another letter to the Congressman in your future
Not an accurate chart, but very symmetrical considering it looks like it was drawn freehand with a blue crayon.
The in-depth, thought provoking insight contained in this stickied post completely changed my perspective on MMEX.
I got some .0031s. I didn’t expect the PPS to stay down here this long, but I appreciate that it did!
It won’t be much longer until the final piece of the MMEX puzzle is in place, IMO.
Great job with your analysis, as always.
My wife and I were driving through a rural area of Texas earlier this week. My wife said “wow, look at that!” I looked over and saw hundreds of rail cars carrying crude oil, speeding down a rail line. It was an impressive sight!
Interesting that you thought it was a terrible day for MMEX, because I thought it was a great day. I got more shares in the low .003s!
Well right now someone is buying 5.11 million shares @ .0032 so good luck...
Huge volume this morning. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to add more shares.
Great post. You do an awesome job of laying out the big picture. All that is needed to complete the deal is $8 million or less. At this point Jack Hanks likely could just make a few phone calls to obtain that remaining amount, based on his connections. As you stated, several other entities have a lot of skin in the game and are going to make sure they don’t miss out on tens of millions of dollars in profits that will be realized as a result of MMEX.
IMO at this point MMEX isn’t worried about obtaining the remaining $8M, they are choosing between options.
I completely agree. I’ve started businesses myself, and once I had the 80% lender in place, it was much easier to find a lender for the remaining 20% (and I just had to put down 20% of the remaining 20%)... which just happens to be the formula we are seeing with MMEX.
Also, unlike MMEX, my businesses weren’t nearly so obviously destined for success. Unlike MMEX, I didn’t have buyers lined up for 100% of the product I would be producing.
Jack Hanks deserves a lot of credit for having the vision to make this project happen. He identified a market and a region with a huge need that wasn’t being satisfied, and he knew he had the experience to get this business going.
From my experience with startup businesses, IMO the hard part is over. This is when all the hard work starts to pay off, and it doesn’t even seem like work.
Like the song goes... if Jack Hanks is crazy (“Mad J” as you call him), he’s just the lunatic I’m looking for... because he will be remembered as the man behind the plan that resulted in the first CDU built in the United States in 41 years!
“- what happens at the end of year one, two, and three, for the SPV (Pecos County Refining) if the unit is not operating in a cash-flow positive mode?”
I remember like it was yesterday reading the statement “MMEX is never going to build a CDU.” Wait, that WAS yesterday and every day for months. As MMEX delivers on every promise and reaches each milestone, the narrative of those who oppose MMEX has changed accordingly.
After the first new CDU in 41 years has been profitable for several years, I wonder what the skeptics will be predicting?
Congratulations MMEX longs!
Awesome post. Refreshing to see an honest assessment of the potential and the risks associated with MMEX.
Maybe someone needs to post a stickied letter that can be sent to lenders to alert them that MMEX is a scam? Being that worked so well to deter the Congressman from supporting MMEX?
MMEX has obtained $465,000 in financing in just the last week? How is that possible if this is a share selling scam? The lenders are fooled too?
Around 175 million MMEX shares traded last week and closing in on 200 million shares this week. The window for accumulation and loading will close soon, IMO.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see a shareholder letter early next week.
If you haven’t read the last few shareholder letters on the MMEX website, they give significant detail on how much has been accomplished over the last few months.
IMO the response to the stickied letter to the Congressman would be something like:
“I’m sitting here in the smallest room in my house with your letter of concern in front of me. Soon it will be behind me.
Sincerely,
“Friend of MMEX” Congressman Hurd
Exciting times ahead for MMEX!
He is stating the Congressman’s MMEX visit was no big deal... while his letter pleading with the Congressman not to visit MMEX is still stickied and visible to everyone. You can’t make this stuff up...
Someone spelled “Hurd” incorrectly and quickly corrected it... That’s the best you can do?
Congressman Hurd is a savvy guy... he knows the difference between winners and whiners, IMO. It’s a great time to be a MMEX long!
Hope your mom feels better soon CJ.
Always appreciate the info and updates.
Me too... just got more @ .0032.
I don’t think confused is the right word... Maybe “puzzled.” I’ve just never seen specific predictions that have been inaccurate to such a degree. 14 million shares have traded since you said MMEX was 110,000 shares from dropping to
.0031. Your predictions are no bueno.
Lol. 10 million shares ago you said MMEX was 110,000 shares away from .0031.
