Tangerine- I agree. Buyout is the fastest, quickest, easiest way for Nasrat to get his money out without driving the stock down.
LASERS-I would agree with your appraisal of Nasrat. I even think we should cut him some slack because he is that good. Not everything is totally in his control. His experience is top notch, his many degrees including a JD and the fact that he owns so many shares and knows so many people in BP is a huge help. HE CANNOT BE BS' d and is in a very strong position.
Tangerine- You raise some important issues and I am glad they increased their manufacturing capacity. I think it is important to keep the manufacturing process in house as it is patented. If Nasrat does a "buyin" we still keep control of everything and we can do the manufacturing. Of course, if there is a buyout then no sense in protecting proprietary manufacturing processes. The ART technology is not something I would just want to hand to EPIC and show them how to do it even though it is protected. It certainly adds value to ELTP that we have corned the market on this technology but especially from a manufacturing point of view.
Tangerine- You raise some important issues.I too am glad they increased their manufacturing capacity
fafallionaire- Its called "tankupsolidation".
rfw- You know better than most on this board about MM games. I nor anyone needs to explain this to you. Basically, as you already know, MMs are getting paid to tank this stock. Flat out obvious. Big Pharma is paying for this.MMs are getting paid more than they could generate making an honest market with ELTP. They would like ELTP to fail and pick up the patents or they would like to put ELTP into a position that weakens the bargaining power of ELTP so they pay less in the end. Usually, OTC stocks can be taken advantage of by MMs because they have no real income. MMs can do anything they want as long as their is no income being generated. This is where ELTP is different. ELTP has been generating income and it is getting harder and harder for MMs to cover their activities which are quite obvious to all. THis is coming to an end soon as our CEO is the best in the business. He has lots of experience and knows everyone in the Big Pharma. Remember we are not inventing the new drugs just how they are consumed. This makes it much easier with the FDA. The FDA is in a tight spot now. The real question is will the FDA be influenced and bend towards the wishes of Big Pharma or towards the wishes of Congress and saving human lives. I think the FDA will give quick approval and not need Phase III studies. Hang in there my friend. Read fast. As usual this will be deleted.
Typical MM strategy. They will slow down filling orders. Lose orders only to be found a few minutes later. They want to stall this rally any way they can. Seen the rope-a-dope strategy many times before. IB, rfwelsh- agree highly manipulated.
Maz- I am just saying that when the market goes down for the various reasons you correctly gave and they were all legit concerns, the MMs who have a paid agenda, will double down and take even further advantage of the market being down and push the SP even lower. They get away with it and can justify their further dropping the SP because the whole market went down. However, nothing really changed the value of ELTP and among OTC stocks I would not necessarily consider ELTP a high risk stock.
When the Dow goes down and the MMs have an agenda of tanking a stock, they will double down using the overall market as a reason to shave even more off the SP. In reality, the value of ELTP has not changed at all. And OTC stocks are usually not affected by the overall market as they are so small and have their own issues such as getting studies done. No reason for alarm today. Just keep buying, holding, and accumulating.
Dr. Ninja- Totally agree.
Dr. Ryan- I could not agree more.
Chuc- This is pretty routine unfortunately. Off shore hedge funds and brokers use dark pools which go unaccounted for in total volume for the day. Again, only 65-70% of real volume is accounted for by the SEC. Fortunately, going short is getting less and less popular. Current thinking is that the market is at all time highs and soon will go south. So short everything. This has not been the case. Shorts are losing 10% per year on their investments and have lost 10% every year for the last 4 years. This year shorts will lose 15% this year. In the end MMs must short. Its their job. However, going short is not in the end going to affect this stock. In fact a massive short squeeze is coming soon and shorts here will lose even more than 15%.
Shorts have lost 10% for the last 4 years and are down an additional 5% on top of the 10% this year so far.
Lasers- Narcotic bowel syndrome is a major problem with taking these drugs. Ultimately, patients can develop cyclic vomiting syndrome, also a major problem with pot. Interestingly, research is now focused on naltrexone alone as a treatment for chronic pain. This new medication is more focused on treating narcotic bowel syndrome and pain than it is about ART.
Note trading screen has changed in the upper righthand corner. Going green soon.
Rfwelsh-100% agree. MMs know the shoe will drop. They are just trying to lower the SP to find the level where they can trigger some selling. But, as you can see, no luck. Always upward pressure after they short it down. Some CEOs will let MMs know ahead if there is a PR coming in an effort for MMs to prepare for smooth and efficient trading in legitimate markets such as NYSE. I can tell NH has not talked to MMs. This was probably done long ago and has not been addressed again. Probably even before JT. It is just one of the deals a CEO may have as an understanding with MMs.
Perfect MM manipulation pattern again. Hopefully this is the last week for this. Probably see a "shaking of the tree" effort this week. Then, smooth sailing.
If NH fully develops and markets all drugs and all ART scenarios ELTP is worth $100.00/S. Obviously NH has full control of the takeover SP. I believe he will not take less than $7.00/S. For NH it is simply a matter of developingELTP until it is worth $7.00/S. This figure is based on the number of shares NH has, I believe, and his personal goal of 1 billion dollars before taxes. ELTP is a once in a lifetime opportunity because of the speed at which NH has been able to developELTP. NH also knows this an unusual opportunity and he will make the most of it because this wont happen again in his lifetime. In addition to selling the company he will require a board position on the takeover company as well. NH is so good just buy into whatever company he associates himself with and you will make money.
Nice to see a day without MM manipulation. MMs rethinking strategy today and we will see on Monday what they are up too next. Even they need to see the normal flow of things without manipulation.Just keep buying, holding, accumulating. Latest MM effort to shake loose shares that were bought between .60 and .97. These investors should hold as even they will do very well in the long run but they may not have many shares and may not have the foresight to hang on to those shares. Buy and average down is the best strategy here.
rfwelsh and integrity- I cannot respond by personal message. What you saw the other day with the increase in volume and SP was covering by MMs and shorts using the PR as cover rather than shooting the price up out of the blue near the end of the day. This is why the PR did not have the effect it should have. This looks good to the SEC. This is known because today they are back in the short and drop the SP mode. The MMs were in really deep and dugout some. Our day will come.
Ninja- Right on!
MMs just started covering. They combined that with the ealier news. Funny how the share price did not go up when news was announced. MMs routinely do not let that happen. Now keep track of the number of shares between now and the end of the day at this all of a sudden new price range out of the blue. Subtract these shares from yesterdays short shares from Finra. The shares covered today had to be covered from yesterday. Those were legit shorts. The remaining shorts are the naked shorts and/or shorts sold between MMs.
fitty34- I cannot respond as a personal message. 1. NH could make a deal with MMs -it is routinely done 2. NH could buy back shares(great idea you had) 3. dividend (spelling is good this time)- will cause massive short squeeze-MMs wont like this at all. This is actually a better way to raise the SP to get onto the legit Nasdaq than a RS 4. NH to pedal as fast as he can- the faster the better 5. Surprise PRs-keeps MMs off balance and in constant shorting mode---sooner or later big short squeeze and MMs lose their pants 6. Complain to SEC- unfortunately a waste of time- there are bigger crooks to get.7. Buy hold, accumulate.8. Be patient. Hope that helps.
rfwelsh- I do not believe that just because there is no news that this is justification for the MMs to keep bringing the share price down in the way they do it everyday nonstop. This is a common thought on the OTC but reflects a lack of true understanding of what the MMs are up to(I will not go into detail anymore on what MMs do and how they do it). You are correct. Anyday there could be a PR and everyday that goes by without a PR the value goes up because we are one day closer to clinical trials results being announced.
elichen- This is just the tip of the iceberg and I am shocked to see this made it into print. FDA bought and paid for by Big Pharma is a well known fact.
If that was too complicated to understand then consider the other day when the market went down over 100 points ElTP dropped 2 points. Today, the market went up over 100 points and again ELTP went down yet another point. Nothing changed the value of ELTP. In fact the value of ELTP should be going up as we get closer to the annoucement of clinical trial results. How can that be. Only market manipulation can explain that in the absence of any PR or other fact.
From this point get tomorrows Finra report on short interest activity for today. My guess by todays activity it will be near 50%. During one of the next 3 days the MMs will have to cover. This will be noted by sudden upward spike towards the end of the day usually during the last 15-20 minutes of the day. Note the number of shares traded (bought) by MMs to cover. Those were the legitimate shorts that hadto be covered from todays activity. Subtract those shares from the Finra number of short shares traded today. That will give you the approximate amount of naked shorts and MMs trading between themselves in their Select accounts. Remember the SEC total share count for today is only between 65-75% of the total shares traded today. Pure manipulation to keep ELTP shares as low as possible to help persaude NH to get a partner and not go it alone to achieve ELTPs full potemtial of $100.00 SP and help big pharma pickup this partnership on the cheap. Big pharma is desperate because not only can the ELTP ART process be used for narcotics it can be used for any drug.
Up to this point this has been an epic effort on the part of shorts (mms naked shorting and selling to each other)to manipulate this stock down as the ask has undercut the bid all day long. This is what happened to Herbalife in 2012. Good article to read -G. Hudson, Herballife shorts shorted more shares to stop upwardshare price momentum,29 Aug,2012. Just keep buying at these bargin prices. I am. This is very typical manipulation on the part of MMs. They are running out of time now and have the pedal to the metal. Not much longer to great PR.
rfwelsh- Back at it again. This just underlies the desperation of Big Pharma. They know they have to buy into ELTP one way or another. They are stuck and the only thing they can do is to keep the SP low by the time negotiations come around. NH is going to get his billion dollars even if we have to go it alone.
Gman- Sorry for the typo. It must be too early for me too.
rfwelsh- I agree with your thoughts. The other move that NH could do to kill MMs is to give a divided, even 1/10 of a penny would cause a massive short squeeze because they would have to come clean on the share count.
Un4given- Add up the number of shares from the moment that ELTP spiked up yesterday to the close. This is the number of shares that had to be legitimately covered as legit shorts. The rest were naked shorts or MMs selling back and forth to each other to keep the SP down and hopefully cause shareholders to sell their shares so MMs could cover. There has to be a massive short squeeze coming. MMs have been burning the candle at both ends to keep the SP down and stop these rallies and they are in deep. Nobody is selling shares and they have to cover.
NH is working very hard to get ELTP ART on the market. Something happened at Activis that is driving NH very hard to prove a point. This CEO is so good he should have been CEO of Activis. NH wants to be a billionaire to prove his point. As I vaguely remember he has 150 million shares so that would be roughly $7.00 before taxes. I am guessing ELTP will be at least $7.00 a share before a partner or $14.00 a share if there is a partner based on what I think NHs personal goals are before NH sells out. There must be some kind of deal if NH wants to get his money out without driving down the SP of ELTP.
Un4gvn- They did the same thing on 3 Jul at about 11:50. It is funny. MM manipulation for sure. And they think they are hiding all this and getting away with it. Everyone who bought today- Good job!
Bashers really at it today. A sign of desperation. Buy, hold, accumulate is taking its toll now. Keep picking up these cheapies. MMs do not seem to understand that lowering the SP and dropping the bottom out of the SP at the opening is scarring no one into selling but longs and smart investors are just taking advantage of the cheap SP and buying more and tucking them away. MMs if legit and not paid off would create a market by raising the SP.
Conix- I was thinking since it took about 2 months for Eli-200 and Eli201 results to be announced that the results for Eli202(started 19 May) might be here by 19 July. It could be early especially if there is a bonus for finishing results earlier. I would not be surprised. NH is going as fast as possible.
Steve- Good one. Unfortunately probably close to the truth. MMs took advantage of the overall market loss yesterday to drag ELTP down 2 cents. No way the real value of ELTP went down 2 cents. Just MMs trying to convince shareholders with day after day of downward pressure to give up and sell shares. Seen this so many times in the past. Any day now test results will be announced. Buy on dips and take advantage of the SP. Buy, hold, accumulate.
rfwelsh-Another dead giveaway ELTP is being manipulated down. MMs are suppose to make money buying and selling stocks and providing a market. When their only interest is pulling the share price down and they do not care about providing that market then they have been paid off. It will be interesting to see how long they will keep this up today. They may try another last minute quick cover at the end of the day.
Steve- Yes, the usual drop the bottom out of the SP to scare people into selling. Just keep slapping the ask everyone and tuck those shares away. They will be forced to raise the SP
DestinyD- Buy on dips and hold and accumulate. Once MMs see the shares are disappearing they will stop the 24/7 nonstop shorting to keep the lid on this stock. THey will learn that when they short the price down 100 shares at a time that really smart investors like yourself and others on this board will buy shares and take them off the market then MMs put themselves between and rock and a hard place and just screw themselves in the long run. There will be a massive short squeeze coming and all it will take is an excuse like a good surprise PR that should be here any day concerning test results. The MMs are just in way too deep trying to keep the lid on this stock.
