Once the launch sequence is acvtivated...
The institutional buyers will want all the snake oil they can get their hands on..
The moves the company is making right now are telling us something is in the works...
Leit...
It hasn't been that long...LOL
I agree...
Add todays 8k wording to the now long and growing list of things surrounding Torvec that tell me something is indeed up..NASDAQ, stock dividends, sale of company incentives...I'm getting hit with my own dot ricochets..
The incentives are performance based for the insiders...they deliver and get rewarded as it should be...
It do appear that way...
Shareholders of TOVC are not as willing to part with their shares
Nice walk down with two small trades at the end of the day by the MM's...
I'll wake you when it hits $4.10...which could be tomorrow..do you prefer the gentle wake up approach with hugs and spooning or the more aggressive "WAKE THE #@*& UP!!!" style..
I bet there are people trying to buy in some volume but can't do it with out raising the price ....
(Note to self - donot bet with dyna)
Mr. Congeniality...
I didn't say anything about your bet...all I said was "well...?" ...the translation of which is ...
well....
well.....
Hi Leit...
I had pretty much moved off of the tick-tock program and onto the dot connecting phase, but it may be getting close to time to rejuvinate the TT...can't do it today though, I'm tied up doing a Berlitz coure on Understanding ..can't understand alot of it though ..may be a while..
maybe someday you will understand that.....
I can't wait...
(Note to self....find open day on calendar to schedule understanding time)
You didn't answer the question....
numb...
It is becoming apparent that you work for a company whose technology isnot working out to well... the campaign you're on to try to subtly discredit Torvec and their technology is not working for you either...
If you spent as much time trying to find a solution to fix your tech as you do posting here, you would have a 500 hp pump that weighs 12 pounds by now...
Allnumb...
I read the link you had referenced on Gray indicating he was holding the pump in his hand...he didnt say he was holding it..he said he could...there is a difference...
What application would require a 500 HP pump anyway...?
You now have posted 101 times and it is obvious to everyone here that you have an agenda...exactly what is it you are trying to say..what specifically would you like everyone to know ..?
Sec...
I was chuckling about this earlier but forgot to mention it...
You asked me "Are you that naive...to think that they are perfectly tight lipped on the inside given their self imposed "quiet period"?
If ever I am invested in a company whose insiders have a strategy of leaking the "bad" news, I would then officially have to seek out a medical professional for a series of mental stability testing....
SEC...
I was nuts before I invested in Torvec....
SEC...
I assume your stop loss got taken out and you were responsible for most of that volume....
Also..to your second point, if the company had "bad" news, they would have had to file an 8k due to S-OX...
Does yesterdays action really surprise you that much..you yourself have been watching level II...when the volume slows on a stock like this a few things happen...one is the market makers can do what ever they want to it...literally, whatever they want.....the other is, with 3,000 and something shareholders, everyone has different levels of intestinal fortitude...many in for the long haul, but when the trading volume goes soft, it doesn't take but a few weak hands to be scared out of some shares...some of whom probably read the endless comments here about "it never happening in their lifetime"...etc...etc...also, we know that the stock is shorted..was more shorted yesterday...?
Worrying about the price day to day will drive you nuts...as trucker said, if you think Torvec has the goods you hold for the events to unfold...it doesn't matter what the price is doing right now...
Thats another good one...
You "don't believe in averaging down in highly speculative investments"...but you believe in averaging up by buying more at $4..?
You have indicated that you trade in and out of TOVC as apposed to holding it for a long term investment...
If you are trading it, having it go up and down is good for you...if you liked it at $4 you should love it at $3...and so on...
Thats a good one...
"This information was issued after the beginning of the quite period."
This information was issued sometime in mid 2005...
"15% of the Mid-August '06 shorts covered since then."
That's 15% of the registered mid-August 06 shorts have covered
since then...
Leit...
reading that reminds of a few of the many reasons I remian long and strong on Torvec
China should have Al Gore come for a visit and have him look at their internet situation...he doesn't seem to be very busy right now and since he was the one who invented the internet he could propbably make a bunch of dough showing China how to re-do their internet..
It's quite possibly the most perfect storm developing in front of our eyes for Torvec...
The global political conditions should and I believe will have a vast impact on the need for Torvec's technologies...
what a joke that guy from Venezuela is...even the people at the UN General Assembly were laughing at him..
Nice work...
I have been following the arrows round and round for about an hour....very relaxing
Interesting Leit...
I don't remember all of the discussions that went on here (some were heated) but haven't the G's been touting the lower cost aspects of the IVT since day one...the fuel savings still occurs regardless of what the price of fuel is at any given time.. it's like a 2-for-1 sale..
LOL...
You're funnier than you used to be..
"Why do you think the shares are so thinly traded lately?"...
Maybe the guys at the SEC have stopped buying...
There was another poster on here who talked about the SEC and insider stuff as much as you...remember nycinvest...he loved that stuff too..fortunatly for all of us, you arrived right around the time he stopped posting so that we havn't missed out on any of the SEC / insider topics....
In one of nycinvests last posts from a few months ago, he was touting a stock called GHLT...it was at $5.60 or something like that at the time...it closed yesterday at $1.65.....anyone who took his advice and sold Torvec and bought GHLT lost on both ends...hopefully, he didn't commit an SEC violation....
have a nice day..
LOL..!!
That is funny...still LOL..good one..!
Job..In an earlier post, you said the following...
"The self imposed quiet period is for a minimum of 90 days. Everyone assumes that an event will take place within that time frame. My interpretation of that statement is that the quiet period could continue for however long Torvec management deems necessary as long as it’s beneficial to the negotiating process. The history of trying to market any of their products has always taken much longer than originally thought and could well happen again. Like to hear other’s thoughts on this aspect of the statement."
I agree with you 100% Job...the bashers in waiting are going to claim that the world is going to end at the end of the 90 days..that is what is being set up here...the warm up to the bash-a-thon...you are absolutely correct in your statement..
You also said this in another post...
"Expect to be farting through silk in the near future."...which remains one of the funniest lines I have ever seen on this forum and there have been some really funny things said hear.....that was a classic....
Fifty....
just curious...why is it that about half of your posts reference insiders, insider trading and/or the SEC..?
I felt bad for the Nostradamus kid back in school...
Nobody really liked him..I guess he brought it on himself with all of the acting smarter than everyone else stuff...
Like I said....I could be way off base...
It was just some rambling thoughts...
Hi trucker..I respect your opinion as well...
Who really knows where this thing ends up....I do know it will end "up"...question is how far...there are literally hundreds of variables that will affect the course of events which could lead to Torvec being a $50 or $100 stock...my thought on the $25 number is that I feel that some of early deals will take the valuation toward that level while at the same time the technology validation within the industry will make the company a more viable target for acquisition and it will be "easier" to figure out what it's worth...at that point some large player may see the future of Torvec's tech portfolio as a $10 or $20 billion future valuation once fully matured and be willing to try to buy it for a billion "today"...if it's stock deal for the whole comapny, we as investors then can decide if we would want to keep the shares of the acquiring company and ride that investment as they take Torvec's suite of technologies to another level...
I could be wrong, but I think if some company offered to buy Torvec for $25 a share, that sucking sound you would hear would be the vacuum created by the Torvec Board of directors rushing to parking lot to do hand springs...
Did anyone catch this on the link dread provided for the behind the scenes look from the channel 13 piece..
There is a piece of footage which was not part of the on air piece that shows the reporter talking with Congressman Reynolds and the reporter is saying something like "it appears that the company is sitting on something truly revolutionary"..and then Reynolds says "how about the investors...the investors are as smart as the inventors"...
Interesting exchange...truer words were never spoken
Where is Kate Smith when you need her..?
My opinion on the price...
I think Torvec will put a few deals together that will push the stock price into the $10 to $15 range....while the first deal or 2 are maturing, a few more deals will get done moving the valuations upward into the higher teens....I think the company will be bought out and the end game for those that hold until that event is somewhere in the $25 range, give or take a few bucks....That would be a present day valuation of roughly a billion dollars....It hit $300 million on "rumors" alone...
One can deduce that Jim doesnot have a siamese twin...
Channel 13 most certainly would have included that in their story..
Continuing with the same logic...
One can deduce that it is officially a less loud period here at ihub...LOL
LOL....
Once again, using the exact same logic, I have deduced from the information you have provided that dyna is less attractive than you...LOL
I stand corrected..
...it was actually dyna's post that said China was over and done with..not you..sometimes I mix up the two of you..
my apologies..
