Challenge accepted and completed (almost).
The first day started with my manager picking me off the new-hire orientation early to show me the manufacturing lines. With no engineering or automotive industry experience, I had no idea where I was at and what happened in the 6.2 million square-foot plant. He told me to go to the body shop, I asked “where is it?”, he said “find it”. My team always pushed everyone out of their comfort zone so we could progress ourselves, and he did so in the most extreme, yet comforting way. After I found my way around the huge plant, I sat down on my desk and was handed drawings of the manufacturing floors. Thousands of ULOCs and parts later, I understood on a surface level, how cars are built and how a manufacturing plant is supposed to look like.
My first project was fairly simple, yet a high responsibility role. I had to synthesize ULOCs, DLOCs and part information to label each location accurately. A week or so later, it was time to step up the responsibility level a notch or two. I was put on the daily BOM analysis that I had to send out to 40+ employees, including VPs and directors. Trust me, I have made mistakes and looked like a fool several times in front of my boss’ boss’ boss too. But with an uplifting team, and an encouraging manager, I was set in the right path. “If you don’t know something, ask” is what my manager told me when work was picking up pace and I had to substitute in on behalf of him during slow builds and milestone events as such. I started asking, people started noticing, and they started respecting my curiosity and my work ethic. And that is barely the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the work and responsibilities I was given, many more to come too.
The past 4 months have truly taught me that a job is not just your job description, your salary, the location etc. Its about what you want to do, how you do it, and who you do it with. I started off as an intern who knew very little, and I am ending my internship with endless knowledge, true responsibilities, and titanium bonds with my team.
Thank you for the #RIDE and letting me make cars!

Jack Cheng - Edward T Hightower….. now these 2 together is dynamite!
(Yicai Global) Jan. 15 -- Taiwan’s Hon Hai Precision Industry, better known as Foxconn, has today appointed the co-founder of electric car startup Nio to lead its open electric vehicle platform, financial news channel Yixian reported.
Jack Cheng will be head of MIH, Foxconn’s new open software and hardware platform for developing EVs, the report said. He will be responsible for the hardware side of things while Chief Technology Officer William Wei will take charge of the software side.
Industry veteran Cheng has more than 40 years of experience in the auto sector under his belt. Early in his career, he worked for Ford Motor, then served as vice president of Fiat China’s global purchasing center and later as general manager of joint venture GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
I keep averaging down now closer to $5.00 a share .

With the help of Foxconn LMC can build 22,000 Endurance trucks in 2022 …..could be produced in the second half of 2022 3,675 a month is what is needed and revenues to exceed 1.1 billion . target is $60. -$100. PPS if target production met by end of 2022 .
And to know that Foxconn has NIO ex-cofounder Jack Cheng
https://cnevpost.com/2021/09/08/nio-targets-annual-production-capacity-of-600000-units-by-end-of-2022/amp/
On March 2 this year, NIO said in a conference call following the release of its fourth-quarter earnings last year that the NIO plant had reached a capacity of 10,000 units a month at that time, but could only produce up to 7,500 units a month because of supply chain constraints.

Ford has already loss 2 billion this year. If it was not for the Government loan $FORD will be forced to bankruptcy.
“Ford said it increased its “commitment to invest in growth,” planning to spend more than $22 billion in electric vehicles and $7 billion in autonomous vehicles. The investment in EVs is nearly double an earlier allocation, the company said.”
