Quote: "Yes indeed; EXTREME detail placed into just about every security measure.... On many levels. "
How do you know this? If you read it, please post the link. Thanks.
of course they could steal some moths or worms, but could they legally sell them or any products made by them?
WOULDN'T OUR PATENT PROTECT US FROM THIS???
"someone, especially in foreign countries like India and Vietnam, stealing some of the MS and BR moths and starting to farm the silk themselves? "
But Amsilk can only make the protein, not the fiber. That small detail is what KBLB's worms do for us!
Quote" IMHO, I think that ACTC is waiting on "Breakthrough" status with FDA... if that is awarded then they have a JV in place and is the reason why we don't have a CEO..."
Why would ACTC prefer not to have a CEO if Breakthrough status is approved?
Bob, dfeickeesq says "4 years and counting, 2.5mil + in salary/benefits and another 2+ mil in IR".
Is this true? As i said earlier, i've bought back in--mainly due to the Warwick Mills connection.
But if Kim has a personal fortune and complete confidence in the success of KBLB going forward, i wonder why he would need or even want to be paid in cash, rather than in shares starting in a couple of years or so. That's what the CEO and Chairman of the board are doing at the company i'm in that has made enormous gains lately (as well as actually buying millions of shares)--and that is one reason for my confidence in that company.
Could you please tell me how much salary Kim is getting? and Ben? Thanks.
Couch--i wish you'd say more about "what really happened here today" (if it won't get deleted)...
Thanks!
Couch said it's coordinated. Who would that be? Big pharmas who want to take down ELTP or just MMs?
What is the news we are waiting for?
INSIDERS NOT SELLING!!! stop trying to instill FUD!
'Truth4Once'--Thanks for the link to article!
What does matter in a big way is that the spider gene is synthetic, because--if i remember correctly--only synthetic genes can be patented.
wrt Synthetic--so what? If we can get our modified silkworms to produce what the spiders produce naturally, that would be synthetic AND the same or equivalent. Bio-equivalent. imo
Please post the link to spider silk article. Thanx
Does kblb work with brown recluse spiders? the pedestrian underlying question is: does this help kblb?
OK, so they do have better financing. What should we conclude from this?
IF YOU WANT REAL DD AND REAL FACTS: just read old posts from Couch and Lasers plus the long lists of important facts that Nasdaq has faithfully posted and updated many times. Nothing more is needed. Nothing. No need to read any other posts.
You think their financing is any better? most start-ups have to put up with this kind of financing, unless the founders are super rich to start with. Until there is revenue. Usually takes time.
'rayovac812'--Thanks for explaining. For some unknown reason (probably due to shaky confidence, hence easily panicked), i assumed that mojo meant that the blue dress company and Amsilk got grants or awards or something like that.
But you are saying it was actually just financing like we have?
Bob, i just bought another 50,000 shares. So i must have some small degree of confidence--or more like hope--But i would really like to hear your thoughts on what mojo said:
Quote:
"Spiber made a blue dress and got $8 million.
Amsilk has gathered about $50 million based upon predictions of KBLB's failure and their success"
they were able to obtain all those millions on so very little....and here kim has the holy grail and cant get a nickel... hmmmmmmmmm....whats wrong with this picture...
IMO, Mojo is asking a perfectly reasonable question. Now that i've bought back into KBLB, i want to see it go UP. But that doesn't mean ignoring things like this.
What excuse can you come up with for why everyone else gets $$$$$$$$$ for their piddling little accomplishments...
You think they are referring to KBLB's "synthetic" silk?
I don't think KBLB's silk would be called "synthetic". That implies making something from scratch and something that is not "alive", like nylon. I think they would probably call it GM silk.
Why should it matter who is first to market or why should it matter that no one has stated their prediction?
It matters who is first because they will dominate the market, imo.
Could you please post links for any of these fascinating studies? I can't tell if they are ACTC studies or some other company's. Thanks.
IMO, the Seeking Alpha did not pump ACTC at all. On the contrary, the article played down ACTC while playing up STEM. In fact, it scared me into selling a lot of my ACTC shares. Fortunately, I was able to buy back in quickly after reading Lasers' post saying that actually STEM is several years behind ACTC. But the point is, i don't think that article was responsible for the spike.
'Fern Wood' --where is this info from and when? Please post the link if possible. thanx
'Quinquagintilliard' --is this whole column the transcript of a cc? Thanks.
Lasers--did i present your view correctly? reply to'farviewhill': lasers has previously said that he thinks there's a good chance FDA will approve fast track commercialization of the treatment due to proven safety and "unmet need".In which case $$$$$$$$$$$$$ revenue to the company from the therapeutic treatment of thousands of patients.
Perhaps there are other sources too, that would come into play with that scenario. But the revenue is what i have read Lasers to say, specifically.
Where are your teachings on how to fish (i.e. attain KBLB-related information)? If you have posted them before, please re-post them.
Who's "we" and who are "we" gonna talk to?
Bob and Mike--thanks to your steady optimism confirmed by your obvious huge stakes in the game, and reasonable explanations--and definitely, also, thanks to huge gains i made elsewhere after selling all my KBLB shares--i bought back in yesterday.
So now i can say, with all the other Longs: GO KBLB!
'senderos' AND ALL NEWBIES: READ THIS!!!
FIRST, read lasers' posts. And the website.
The company has overcome huge obstacles but they are still paying for the errors (and probably deliberate fraud) caused by others in the past.
Also, their work is immensely expensive and they came very close to bk, hence had to accept toxic financing to stay alive. Then a temporary CEO (Gary Rabin) who apparently put his own greed ahead of the best interests of the company. He has just been ousted.
Through all this, one of the most brilliant scientists in the world--Robert Lanza--(see robertlanza.com) has steadfastly stayed focused on developing fantastic methodology for reversing blindness caused by macular degeneration, as well as other eye diseases.
Their phase one clinical trials were intended just to show safety and tolerability--not efficacy--and the patients had severely advanced vision loss. Yet, lo and behold, most or all of them gained vision improvement, some of them dramatically (including the speaker at the event in the UK tomorrow). Also, most or all of them were so pleased by the results that they asked to have their other eye treated.
Long story short: ACTC has a gazillion great things in the pipeline, works with the most prestigious eye institutes in the world, and has many patents on IP.
Only the financial issues are serious problems but will be overcome ultimately. There may have to be a R/S at some point but maybe not. Because there is a real chance that FDA will grant approval to fast track commercialization of the treatments--since there is no other cure available--it's an "unmet need"--in which case huge amounts of $$$$$$ will flow into the company from thousands of patients being treated and all the financial problems will be solved.
Thereafter, the company will be able to fund their clinical trials from revenue as well as probably institutional interest and perhaps partnerships. Read the website and read all Lasers' posts.
'senderos' --SMD trial patient will be speaking at this event tomorrow:
March 5th 2014- Prof Neomi Lois, Consultant Ophthalmologist, Aberdeen
UK SMD Patient to Speak on March 5th 2014 about their experience
http://www.yorkshireretinasociety.or...march_2014.pdf
How is Mike doing and how do we find out?
'Couch ' --if i remember correctly, you told us that he said $4-$5 would be for just one ART, and then asked you what it would be when there are many such ARTs. Did i get that right?
'oliven' --do you seriously expect that we will get to two dollars "in a few weeks"???
'andyshow'--Thank you for the explanation of what BHRT is up to. I appreciate it very much. But i still don't see how it relates to AMR-001 except in a general "industry" way--unless it's BHRT's needles that would be delivering the AMR-001.
Please explain the connection between AMR-001 and BHRT. Would it involve BHRT's needles to deliver the AMR-001 or what exactly? Thanks.
Why is BHRT at such a ridiculously low pps when they have so much going on? Doesn't make sense to me. They are obviously not a P+D.
