The big money is playing FBP again -- look at that volume lately! Friday's AM gap looks filled today.
This stock has been cellar boxed for quite some time. Many investors will want to see this hold above .0001 for more than one day before putting their cash into it.
I'll take PYBX for a nice bounce this week
Heh heh. More powder just got cleared for trading. Let's see.....what to do with it?...hmmm....
Some assorted DD:
About the announced stock sale:
$575 Million Stock Sale
This version of the story mentions FPB as a possible takeover candidate:

The unusually large short interest:

I'm still trying to determine whether to use this information for a contrarian play, or to let recent events unfold for a awhile.
Awesome BC. This is a step towards what I have been campaigning for: IFXY recognized as a real company by HIGHLY RESPECTED publications. It just doesn't get any more credible than this! We would never be listed alongside those giants unless WSJ knew IFXY was a real company meaning serious business. Anyone jumping on our board claiming we are a P/D is so clueless it's scary.
It feels like the penny market as a whole has been seeing lower than average volume in the last week or so. Do you think the recent move of the 'big' markets could have shifted some investor money away from pennies? Does a true sub-penny index exist anywhere?....I just see Nasdaq's micro cap and other "micro" ETFs that contain too many $1.00+ stocks to test this theory.
If we get the end game we are hoping for...in this price range, it will be more about how many shares we hold instead of all perfect buy-ins. At least that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
BSRC?
Biosolar has been claiming a product that will revolutionize the solar industry for YEARS now. They are a in never-ending "development" stage. Stupid PRs with absolutely nothing showing sales, outdated website...
Is this even a real company? They are based in Santa Clarita, CA. If anybody lives nearby, can you visit that address to see if anything's there? Thanks in advance, DrZ
13.xx is history IMO...or at least it SHOULD be. It's time for RINO to act like a nice buy-and-holder for the traditional (non-penny) investor.
Others say that gap has already been satisfactorily filled. Dueling chartists aside, when someone continually moves their targets a self-serving manner.....IGNORE.
Good resource -- thanks!
That may have already been accounted for in the latest float number on Infrax website. I think this is the explanation of how we went from 37 to 67 million.
Nope, haven't seen that yet. I am unfamiliar with Form 144 - will need to research a bit.
And the news you are referring to is...?
I'm not a chart guru, but just from watching the volume/price action over several days it looks like 14-15 is the most crucial support level. At least it is to me.
Hey hey, look at this:

We are now on the radar of one of the top-10 most followed iHubbers. I think his group is more short-term TA than us longs, but we'll take all the help can get, right?
Good call. Still, a study of other successful r/m charts shows that standard "gap theory" often doesn't apply. When a profitable company is inserted into the shell of a broken one, that stock's fundamentals are radically changed almost instantly. I suspect the unfulfillable gap will come as soon as the merger is announced as a signed, sealed, delivered event.
A nice buy there to start the day. :)
It is amazing how many chances longs have been given to load more shares at 18-22. Friday's game-changing POR should have meant no looking back after Monday's open. Then the bashers/shorts show up, and they are just effective enough to create several dips right back into the no-brainer buy zone.
Okay fine....opportunity has been knocking too many times to ignore. If still able to buy in this price range tomorrow, I will triple my position.
Looks like 75 held. Also, I notice the b/a spread has been much tighter lately. That means more normal price movement and less wild oscillations between ticks. And maybe, just MAYBE..it implies the MMs have enough shares so they don't have to initiate those large downward scoops fishing for more shares.
*tap* *tap*
Ask is 74....still pretty close to the 5 day low. I've got so many shares already, but I'll look under the couch cushions for something to tap that with!
Hey I'd love a boost right now too. I've emailed the company with my concerns about not letting negative momentum build too long.
Infrax, please put out a contract PR in the very near future!
"Life support"? I think that is being unnecessarily over-dramatic. It is the aggregation of investor sentiment that create short-term fluctuations in stock price. The company itself is right on track and doing fine.
Yep, don't need L2 to see when MMs are simply casting trolling nets.
ANWM was actually one of the first stocks added to my Favs list when I joined iHub a couple of months ago. Then for some reason I took it off. Therefor I'm a little perturbed at missing that first big move. Sill, this looks like another decent entry point for a true buy-and-holder. GLTA
Looks like a good time to pick up my starter position here, eh?
That is what I was trying to accomplish with my previous post. Is this a one-time buyout play, or something more? Hdog has all relevant and internet-available info in his posts below.
The new owner had already been a big part of the company, so it's not like some new hired gun coming in to completely change GNXE's vision and values. I like the new online store because web commerce is a great way to deliver specialized media. Other than that, I am kind of waiting for the Big Man's take on this past the takeover angle.
We are bullish again! Premarket L2 clearly showed a move was coming. Put/call is also way way down. Is it time for RINO to finally break out of this channel?
Anyone?
Hello?
[cricket noises]
You did good. We just had a small bid hit, but the next buy will swing it back to 8.
That was the 'ladder affect' I have often experienced too!
Nice Altec! These .75-.80 buys are all long-term winners IMO.
Time to buy more? em
Glad you got in. Getting value on gap mornings is tricky. I got real lucky and caught some 19's and 20's 5 minutes after the initial rush. Satisfied with my position now, and will HOLD STRONG.
I suspect some of these 'sells' http://ih.advfn.com/p.php?pid=trades&symbol=ifxy are bid buys.
Note for new buyers -- buying at Bid (or even below the 'last sale' price) can turn your investment immediately downward. Buying at the best Ask price listed here: http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/ifxy/quote (or for large buys, put the limit even a little higher than that) often provides the uptick needed to put your stock immediately in the green. Try it, it works!
I've asked about this on other boards - and it is almost certainly a myth. The unanimous opinion (amongst knowledgeable traders) is, setting high limit orders do nothing to prevent MMs from borrowing shares. Naked or otherwise. I suspect it may have some value in how they set bid/ask prices however.
Does that daily short volume include shorts purchased by individuals and firms, or is just the shares that MMs temporarily borrow to preserve liquidity?
Questions for the group:
After a likely short-term boost from the change of ownership, what are the drivers for a sustained PPS gain?
For example, I've been looking for clues to an enhanced or more aggressive business plan (than before). All I see is Mr. Cook's rather generic statement about "continuing to pursue and develop new projects". The online store does sound like a profitable addition. Any financials I see are old....I wonder if they plan on becoming more transparent in the future.
So what I am trying to figure out is, is the company going to keep doing what they've been doing? Or, is new growth afoot?
