I agree with the Bamer.
Oh yep!
i sold after the announce of the last r/s. I am waiting to see if it gets back to sub penny to buy back in.
I talk too much at times that is a fact. You can check my record; I have had my fair share of doubt over the last 2 years. I am also down about 10,000 on AFTC.
We will see what happens. I do know for sure that PR's only will help if they are backed with real news. The last 3 posts from BT sum it up.
I think that Jim should have a PR if he has real honest to goodness news about a large order or finical deal of a size that can sustain the value of the share rise.
The past has shown that army news is not big enough to make this happen, we need something larger.
Gainmakers requests are vague, he wants PR’s. ok? PR’s on what? He says on all news, and the BIG NEW’s that Jim was talking about.
OK? Well Jim did not say the big news was a sure thing. So no news is no news. We have already discussed to the point of insanity why some of us feel that the Army news by itself will only cause the PPS to drop.
So that leads me to believe that Gainmaker is a pumper. I am done with him. To everyone else that actually has good DD and input for the page. Let er rip!
GLTA!
GO AFTC!!
And as we have all tried to get you to understand, true gains, big gains the "gainmaker" if you will, is in more contracts, not more fluff.
nuff said.
Don't confuse my post to Luna. I think it was good work. This board needs to know who and what you are about. Quick cA$$h is your game.
Good stuff Luna. It sucks that you had to waste time doing DD on a day trader. BT it had to be done.
Gainmaker=day trader
How do you know he will not PR the big news? Are you psychic? The only news he has had in a year was the army. And he realized it was better to post that news on the website. So again, I ask what news? The BIG contracts possibilities were still in the "possibility" stage.
So I ask again? What news are you skiing him to PR? And how would paying him to PR new that has not happened yet and may not happen help?
Gainmaker. What exactly would you like Jim to PR? The old army news?
NO - Real business will make the PPS go up.
Econ 101 my friend. Your point has a track record to it. Can we all agree that every time a PR has come out over the last 2 years it has done more to push the price down, not up? If you are not able to answer me on this one very simple, very easy questions, then you have proven to me that you do not care about the overall price. You just want to dump and drive down and buy and dump again. Those days are done. IMO
You all are missing one main thing. Jim is not posting PR's for a reason. To keep the day traders (COUGH COUGH COUGH) from pushing the price up artificially.
I am long on AFTC, however, please do not include me in the letter to Jim. Jim's answers in the past and the future share holders meeting is good enough for me at this time. Thanks.
I agree about the not agreeing what is really big news for a PR. As we have seen in the past, Army news alone is only day trade fodder.
Z you are the only ihub poster I know that has claimed to have talked to Jim on the phone. Why not call him instead of having a professed day trader like Gainmaker e mail him?
Please don't. I think we need to wait for the shareholders meeting.
Got it, so you are saying that your question in the e mails were not answered to your satisfaction in the e mails responses from Jm?
I will say this Zcloud. I am glad to see that you are no longer willing to give Jim the benefit of the doubt.
But I am a bit confused. You talk about Jim's e-mails already answering the question that we have for the shareholders meeting. Yet your question posted has been the most asked and answered question by Jim over the last year IMO.
I would like to go and recorded as saying I have not been okay with his answer to this question and more info about the action he is taking for the share holders would be nice, but as you have said in the past Zcloud, it is his company and he can do what he likes.
This is why I think that a share holders meeting is good. E-mail is one thing, but getting Jim on the record and showing us a plan of good will can only help future investors. For me this shareholders meeting is a starting place for new investors, and not as important for us longs. IMO. However, I think that clarity for the longs is good as well.
But I am curious about your change of heart Zcloud. Why the move from Polly Anna to Scrooge Mc Duck on AFTC and Jim? You were more patient in the past and from my point of view your attitude changed once we all started pushing for a share holder meeting after Jim suggested it.
Transparency will get the stock moving.
Jim does not seem to think it is a waist of time. If anything it shows good will and puts a more concrete foundation to your vague "common sense" conclusions.
Cloud, I am surprised you are as against this idea. A shareholders meeting shows progress on the part of the company to be more transparent.
Transparency for a company that has not had official news in a year is a good thing.
You are prob right about one thing. We will not know a solid price on those pumps. But we should be able to make a guess by looking at future financials.
I hate to speculate when it comes to the unknown. BUT, I am not going to lie I have been sitting here running numbers and they look realy good if you assume that 5000 pumps cost 500.00 a peice verse 5000 pumps at 50.00.
I have no idea at all what the cost of one of AFTC pumps is.
I am not really surprised that the big news wires are not interested in news from a small company like AFTC.
I think that it is going to take a major news story to get AFTC where we all want it to go.
I found AFTC while I was a Ford share holder. Ford posted the news about the trial of an AFTC fuel pump system. I think that it will take something like that.
The problem with Army news is that the only one reporting the news is AFTC.
I think that there are allot of positives going on right now from Jim's e-mails.
BUT, if you are not satisfied that posting on the web site will work, you should put it down with Luna Tic as a question for the share holders meeting. Ultimately I am not sure that the news reporting will change until Jim figures out if he is willing to drop more money into the OTC system.
I think the info on the DD from ack0605 is good, I just wonder if having the post from him (a mod we Never heard more then 3 posts from) might not look a little funny? Does that make sense?
I think that this is because Jim feels that they are just doing a cost analysis instead of really looking to order the 5000 pumps. This happens allot in this kind of industry.
He is not unsure of the company, he is unsure if they are really intent on buying 5000 pumps or are they doing the numbers. IMO
Atlease that is how I read that.
BT - I think that you should consider a new intro for AFTC as well since ack0605 is no longer our mod.
That is alot of speculation at this point, but if you are right it will make all us longs feel alot better about life.
Score! Now that is a great idea! What is the twitter handle?
Good work zcloud, nice info!
That is interesting. Looks like it is time to stop waisting money and go with what works. I like that DME can be refined from natural gas. Natural gas is the key to energy independence and a road forward for DME.
agreed.
IMO, the only real way to beat the OTC carpet baggers is to find a way to move up.
In this I think that you are correct. The only way to move up the OTC ladder is to report on time.
Kurek - Why are you asking me? I think my track record on ihub speaks for itself. I have been critical of how the company has been giving out news. HOWEVER, I also agree that OTC is not the place for AFTC to be able to grow. Every time Jims puts out news the day traders kill the value of the stocks more.
I posted the e-mail for its information about a possible share holders meeting. Building a strong relationship between and AFTC and its share holders would be a great start for bringing AFTC back to the price that I feel that it should be. IMO
My e-mail has nothing to do with how or when Jim gives news to us or the world.
I am more excited about the possability of a share holders meeting.
EMAIL FROM JIM
We will publish news and financials on our website, hopefully on Thursday. I received clearance from the Army today.
The only potential problem is that we have is we need to make some modifications to our website to post this information properly, and we are not sure what problems we will have in doing so.
I would like to set a target for a Stockholders meeting for late November or early December via the internet. I would like a list of questions sent in beforehand so that I have answers at my fingertips.
Please know that I am doing my best to try to help the stockholders. I am willing to publish payroll records for myself and my wife if that would help. I will need approval from my attorney, but I think that is possible. I made more money in the 1970’s than I make today. So, any claim that I have personally profited from the company and stockholders is a lie.
Hey All - I e-mailed Jim to see if he would consider a share holders phone or video conference call if I am able to get 25 share holders together.
FYI - this was spun off an idea throne out by Jim in an e-mail to me. He said if we could get 25 share holders together to meeting at a location in Detroit or else where he would be willing to have a share holders meeting.
I have yet to get a response. I will let you all know if that changes. Thanks!
Hey Zcloud and all others.
My apologies. I did not paste the full e-mail and I thought I had. Since he sent it to my work e-mail I deleted it already.
Jim suggested that if we were able to get 25 share holders together he would be happy to have a share holders meeting in Detroit or a location of our choice.
You can verify with Jim if you like.
The shareholders meeting was Jim’s idea, not mine. So please refrain from calling me crazy. I am truly trying to help. But you (Zcloud) are so deep in defense mode of Jim that you think that anything that is said even if it is constructive criticism is an attack on AFTC. This is not the case. I have never personally attacked Jim as you have accused me of.
I want to help this company, not hurt it. But as a manager of a large doctors office I understand that criticism can get you from point a to point b and that is OK. GLTA.
Zcloud - I realize that you and I are not as friendly as in the past. But I am not sure why you would think we are out to lunch. Did you read Jim's e-mail to me? He is the one that suggested the shareholder meeting.
Are you saying Jim is out to lunch?
Please see post #5427
That is a great idea.
the question becomes, do we have at least 25 investors that could be apart.
If we do move forward with this I nominate BT or Luna to spear head if they have the time.
I am down for a video phone call.
I had a good back and forth e-mail with Jim today. He cleared up some of my questions regarding why and what he can post.
It is not that he is waiting for the Army to let him give the info. He sent a draft of what info he wanted to give out to the Army for its approval. This is what he is still wating on.
Here is his last reply. Do you all think we can get 25 of us together for a shareholder meeting with Jim???
From Jim:
Even though the award of SBIRs is public information, we are required to submit a final draft of any announcement that will be made available to the general public…the WEB, a PR, a news story, etc. We have submitted a draft release to the Army for approval, but have not yet received a response. The Army is very busy defensing us!
We received a phase 2 SBIR the middle of August for about $0.75 million. The first year (of 2 years) is over $0.4 million. We now have 2 Phase 2’s running concurrently.
We will publish financials and news on our website as soon as we can find some time. We have positive cash flow and are profitable if you don’t count the back rent and salary owed to me.
All of the cash that we accumulate goes into capital improvements. I just purchased a Toyoda automatic precision grinder (new it sold for $330,000) and a Talyron 252 precision roundness measuring instrument (new price >$100,000). This equipment was in very good condition and we also did some refurbishment.
Sounds plausible.
