Google Earth updates satellite images every 1-3 years. That is why we have to rely on current information....like the NOBLE Mineral Resource's maps of the area to see there is a new road to KAT's Ekom Eya property. from Mar 2012 (see below)

This article explains:
How Google Earth imagery is not in real time
When Google Earth imagery is collected
Why imagery is sometimes blurry
How to provide imagery for public use
When is Imagery Collected?
Google Earth acquires the best imagery available, most of which is approximately one to three years old. The information in Google Earth is collected over time and is not in 'real time'. For example, it's not possible to see live changes in images.

Link please B402, stating it is a "future" road.
Maps show it IS a road, just like all the other roads on the map in the town of Bibiani. IMO

It is right there on the map....the elongated concession outlined in black with the pick and axe showing where the N. Bibiani Mine is.
Very Clear. Of course NOBLE does not name it on their maps because it does not belong to them. But they have to show it there since it is on their Prospecting License. It was given to the Small Scale mining Co-op by the Government.
AND as you can see by this recent map from NOBLE June 2012 NOBLE is even showing it as a prospective area in pink.
Annmarie Gayle, Group CEO, commented: "This is a major step forward for the Company releasing, as it does, $1,020,000 once off and up to $770,000 cash annually henceforth into the business for onward development of the Company's patented technology and product range, and its marketing capability. Retention of this amount of cash in the business benefits all shareholders and other stakeholders and underscores the confidence that stakeholders have in the success of the restructuring of the Company to date."
Coda has come a long way....and is planning to be back to audited financials by end of fiscal year...which is October
Gump..I believe that Henry Nisser has been involved in the Distro/Spin Off from the beginning in 2010.
We saw him handling it in 2010 and his name is also on the recent S-1A.

LAKELAND, FL, Apr 30, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Coda Octopus Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CDOC) was recently awarded and completed a contract for circa $3m for the supply of six (6) of its Underwater Inspection Systems (UIS(TM)) to the Lower Mississippi River Port-Wide Strategic Security Council. These systems will be used by a number of ports in that region.
The Lower Mississippi River is reported to be the largest and one of the busiest port systems in the world. It is also fast moving and has almost zero visibility water, making it amongst the most difficult port environments to maintain. Each of these UIS(TM) systems which include Echoscope(R) real-time 3D sonar technology will be used, amongst other things, for essential safety duties, such as ensuring that the shipping channels are kept clear of dangerous debris. .............
Thanks 1Center... two great articles to read!
Gump..Ekom Eya is the name of the Co-op Small Scale Mining Society.
NOBLE calls the concession "Bibiani North" or "Bibiani North Mine"
Now KAT Gold Holdings refers to it as: "With the purchase of Global Gold and its Ekom Eya gold mining operations,....."
Very confusing with many of the same words/names being used in such a large area. IMO
I Hope we get some news soon. We sure need it. :o)

The Ekom Eya Cooperative Small Scale Miners at Bibiani in the Western Region, have received a loan facility at GH¢2.2million from the government.
The amount is to enable the miners extend electricity supply to their working site to off-set huge costs incurred through the use of diesel generators and purchase needed equipment.
They had earlier obtained a 24.79 acre land acceded by Anglogold Ashanti through the intervention of the government.
This is the first time in the history of the country that small scale or artisinal miners have received such assistance from the government.

KAT Gold Holdings. (OTCQB: BVIG) (PINKSHEETS: BVIG) www.katexploration.com
KAT Gold Holdings Corp announced today that it has consummated the acquisition of Global Gold Inc., a privately held Canadian company with assets in Ghana.
Ken Stead, CEO of KAT Gold, states, "With the purchase of Global Gold and its Ekom Eya gold mining operations, KAT Gold expands its scope beyond that of our established mineral exploration properties in the mining rich regions of Newfoundland into what is anticipated soon to be a gold producing company with operations in one of Africa's most prolific mining regions, the Bibiani Gold Belt in Ghana. Having the Ekom Eya mining operation as part of our portfolio is a huge milestone for the company that we believe will propel us to a whole new level."
The Ekom Eya gold project in Ghana has a minimum estimated resource of 300,000 oz, with intersections between 2m-8m grading up to 24g/t. A waste dump containing a minimum of 30,000t grading up to 9.76g/t along with a yet to be quantified tailings area which holds significant reserves of mine tailings with random sampling results exceeding 21g/t. The mine tailings resource, together with the already mined waste dump is a focus for immediate production.
The focus of KAT Gold is to establish low cost gold production at the Ekom Eya mining operations which is expected to contribute substantially to the company's near-term growth.
KAT Gold's Managing Director for Africa is Thomas Brookes, formerly CEO and founder of Global Gold, who, for more than 30 years, has been involved in the exploration and extraction of natural resources from drilling for oil and natural gas in Canada's high arctic to working in the gold fields of northwest British Columbia and the Yukon Territories. Mr. Brookes has a long established presence in Ghana West Africa having opened an office in Accra, Ghana in 2004 and has travelled extensively through all of the major Gold producing areas, including those off Burkina-Faso.
During these travels Thomas has met with the principles of several ongoing Gold mining operations and has also gained firsthand experience in the social skills necessary during negotiations with the local dignitaries and also the procedural elements regarding dealings with various Government departments. With Thomas Brookes leading the way in supervising the production of the Ekom Eya mining operation, along with planned acquisitions of other Gold prospects, KAT Gold Holdings Corp believes it will become a major contender within the African Gold mining industry.
Mr. Stead, CEO, stated, "Thomas Brookes is a seasoned professional with a reputation for getting things done. He has operated extensively in Ghana and other countries in the regions. His 'boots on the ground experience' is invaluable and substantially reduces, if not completely eliminates any learning curve. Our next step planned is to ramp up Gold Production at the Ekom Eya mine which we believe is a very significant Gold deposit."
Details of the Ekom Eya mining operation can be view at www.katexploration.com under the title "Business Summary" in the "Most Popular" section on the home page.
Kat Gold Holdings Corp would also like to recognize Gracin & Marlow-LLP, www.gracinmarlow.com our representative attorneys for executing the transaction between Kat Gold Holdings Corp and Global Gold Inc. in a timely and professional manner.

B402....
You said: "Nobles is N Bibiani.....Period"
I say: "NOBLE is "Bibiani North Donkoto Prospecting License" minus the Ekom Eya Co-op Concession..which now belongs to the KAT Gold group.
""Bibiani North Donkoto Prospecting Licence (PL)""
That is the whole 19.21 sq km Prospecting License.....and yes the Ekom Eya concession is within that License. (See map below)
In the first map you can see that the 19.21 sq km Prospecting License is called "Bibiani North Donkoto Prospecting Licence (PL)""
In the second map you can see that the "Bibiani North" is the where the Bibiani North Mine is....and IS the Ekom Eya Co-op Concession.
BIBIANI NORTH (Ekom Eya Concession) ~ LIES WITHIN THE "BIBIANI NORTH DONKOTO PROSPECTING LICENSE
B 402...It is all right there on the map!
Just as the Pamunu North and Pamunu South are within the "Bibiani North Donkoto Prospecting License (PL)" :o)
The Minerals Commission granted a small scale gold mining concession comprising 24 acres (0.097 sq. km) on 4th April 2007 in respect of an area immediately surrounding the old Bibiani North shaft to Ekom Eya Co]operative Small Scale Mining Society for five years renewable. Gump what are your thoughts on this info?:
http://www.nobleminres.com.au/live/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Noble-presentation_Earths-Resources_June2012.pdf
Do you think NOBLE might make a pit all around the outside of the Ekom Eya and leave the Ekom Eya like a donut hole? untouched? :o)
NOBLE's "Prospective Areas" right on top of the Ekom Eya Property!
hmmmmmmm WHY?
or.....maybe Gump knows! :o)

B402 why do you think NOBLE is showing "Prospective Areas" right on top of the Ekom Eya???
We just don't know what is going on behind the scenes!
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=77036656
Check out this new pdf with New Maps from NOBLE (June 21, 2012)...showing the Prospective areas from Grasshopper up to Bibiani North Mine in HOT PINK... right on top of the Ekom Eya property! I just post what I find.
And there is another map with the NEW ROAD!
Like I said we just don't know all details...but it sure looks like they are moving in on the Bibiani North Satellite area of Ekom Eya :o)
Time will tell all. Like mappo says "patience" :o)
http://www.nobleminres.com.au/live/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Noble-presentation_Earths-Resources_June2012.pdf
THOUGHT I WOULD SHOW THIS OTHER MAP TOO TO SEE WHERE THE Ekom Eya Property is... the elongated piece there at Bibiani North.
B402....
Just posting what I find out there....
and I did write this to eiddle in response to his questions yesterday:
Maybe you can write to NOBLE and ask where the drill holes are "exactly" that would help
Yes, I believe there is a chance.... but we have to wait and see about the S-1 approval....
Then there are those statements in the S-1 about the purchaser requiring KAT Gold to meet certain milestones.... on page 35 and 36 under "CERTAIN RELATIONSHIPS AND RELATED TRANSACTIONS" (2 have been met)
Lots going on behind the scenes we just don't know about... as usual. :o)
All we can do is wait.
Actually B402...I believe
NOBLE has NEVER HAD the Ekom Eya Property....it was given to the Co-op Small Scale Mining Society in 2007 by the Ghana Govt....so... NOBLE NEVER GAVE IT UP....they never had it.
The Minerals Commission granted a small scale gold mining concession comprising 24 acres (0.097 sq.

Yes, thats what it looks like...
I wish they would make a new Google image of that Bibiani Area. Google maps says they only take new images every 3 years. Maybe they will take a new one soon.
Here is the approx area of the Ekom Eya...and where it looks like the new road would be. Approximately
http://wikimapia.org/#lat=6.4915075&lon=-2.3055486&z=14&l=0&m=b
eiddle....
Do you see the pink outlined elongated shape? (Ekom Eya Property from KAT summary)...well that same shape is in the 2 maps below from NOBLE...where it says Bibiani North.
IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN CALLED THE BIBIANI NORTH Mine That's where the Ekom Eya property is. See the crossed pick-axes? on the one map ?...right on the Ekom Eya Property!
http://www.katexploration.com/PressReleases/Business_Summary_Kat_Gold_Holding_Corp.pdf

statutory obligation
Definition
Obligation that does not arise from a contractual relationship but is created under a law.
Hmmmm....sounds like the Ghana Govt is making them drill the Bibiani North....remember the Govt took the Ekom Eya property and gifted it to the Small mining Co-op group.
Also.....
NOBLE said they were going to "investigate"
On this page, the 6th bullet:
